For some reason the parking behind the cafe was full even though there were sections designated for the respective restaurants but that wasn't really much of a problem. But one downside was that the cafe was a little too empty for an interior that big so the ambiance was on the down side. I'll give three stars because I HAVE had some good experiences there, but after trying salmon a few times as one of my proteins, I learned that it's never cut right and I end up having to spit it out because I can't chew through it. This place is like the Chipotle of sushi. Each bowl starts with basically a California roll (rice, crab meat, avocado, cucumber) and then you can add in a number of different fish depending on the size. I personally went with spicy tuna, yellow tail, and the boiled shrimp and then finished it off with the Uroko sauce and spicy mayo. The largest bowl is only $10.75 (which comes with a choice of 5 different types of poke), and considering some single sushi rolls can cost that much, this is a great deal for the amount you are getting. 10/10 would come here again when i'm in the area. read more

The food is good but the temperature inside the restaurant is way too hot. It's seems like they rely on ceiling fans rather than AC. I worry for the quality and freshness of the fish because of the heat. I had a good time with friends but it made it hard with the heat. Not the best Poke place I've been to. Just an updated review from my first visit close to a year ago. The portion size has gone down a little bit and the price has definitely gone up. This restaurant has become way more popular and very very busy during lunch hours. The staff are still very friendly and I love the way the food is. Just wish they had maintained the prices or kept up with the portion size. I feel like you get less and now the biggest bowl is almost $15. Very disappointed. I've been coming to you guys since you opened and recently you have been changing a lot. I do not mind change, however when you offer less food for a higher price and start charging extra for ginger and more than a tablespoon of rice when it's not stated anywhere I find myself less interested in coming to my "go to" poke place. Not to mention your staff looks like they all have an issue with every customer, no smiles. Wish you guys would revert some of the changes you have made. Not to mention one of the workers reached in their pocket to silence her phone while working on the food line without gloves or washing her hands. I used to go here 1-3 x a week when I worked in the area. Good price/ fast service. I did have a one or two occasions when the fish I selected (I believe it was albacore) tasted "fishy"..not in a good way. Food us good but the layout of the store is actually pretty harsh for disabled people I realize. I'm injured in my toe and I am using a cane. I ordered for me and my dad. Should be two plates right? But the person gave me 2 bowls for 1 small order and 1 bowl for 1 large order. So I had 3 bowls at the end of this transaction when it should've been 2. Then they have the Togo bags far from the counter so I have to balance 3 bowls and ginger to go container with 1 hand while the other hand is using a cane. I almost dropped the food. This is my favorite Poke Bowl spot. If you want a simple and fresh meal then this is the spot. They have really good tasting tuna and salmon. I always get the large bowl with brown rice and salad base. Then top it off with tuna and salmon with various toppings. My first and last experience here. I walked into a pretty long line. The place it's self was a mess. But it was the lunch rush. Typical poki place, like your in a cafeteria line. I was rushed through the line like I was some kind of burden. Specially since it was my first time, I had no idea what the norm was. Used my check in free soda...but took too long for the cashier. She was rolling her eyes. Literally! . Took mine to go. Got back to the office to enjoy, what I thought was going to be a fresh meal, but it wasn't. The veggies were welted.
