Wonderful customer service. This is a great home town post office that I enjoy visiting.

I was treated terribly by the woman working the counter here I asked simply repeatedly why it was so much to mail my letter. She could not explain it. I said I wasn't comfortable spending that amount of money since I did not agree with her or understand why she was charging so much. At that point she got incredibly angry and ordered me out of the United States Postal Service and told me never come back here. I drove from here then to the Elsinore post office and was treated wonderfully and I was explained that I had had an envelope change and that because it was thicker it would be considered a package. I agreed that it met the criteria for A package based on what I had been completely explain now and I had no problem paying what the going rate was. But I had a complete problem with any place that would not take the time to explain to me why I'm being charged something. And in the Wildomar post office this woman had a problem with customer service that was genuine. She forced me to go all the way to Elsinore to be given the customer service that she should have been able to provide and the postmaster needed to understand that customer service is part of the job. In the end he apologized for her behavior and told me that I was welcome back and that I should not be shaking from simply trying to mail a letter. When I indicated that I was shaking from how I was being treated this employee made the situation once again worse by saying that I needed to go see a doctor if I was shaking that there was something wrong with me mentally. And that's when I looked right at the postmaster and said you've got a problem with this employee she's making personal attacks on people that she doesn't need to make and making problems worse. Two different people in line behind me told me when we left the building that the Wildomar post office has huge issues and I was being treated terribly and they agreed with me. I should not have to drive to another To another post office to mail my mail simply because this woman became hostile and could not provide customer service. I'm literally all the way home and I'm just SHAKING from how horribly I was treated. And the postmaster was not real empathetic either. While I was trying to explain to him what had been happening to me he kept exchanging snide and snobby little looks with the employee in question while if she rolled her eyes at the situation. Basically I came away from the situation realizing that the Wildomar post office is being run by people that have power and abuse issues. In any other business when a customer has an issue the manager does not allow the employee in question to continue to exacerbate the situation and abuse the customer. But honestly a few minutes into my speaking with the postmaster I realize I was wasting my time there is a reason why this woman is allowed to be literally off the hook nasty to people and that is because her postmaster backs her up on it and there's literally NOTHING a person can do but put up with being treated so badly they are SHAKING trying to simply hand over payment & stay calm. It took everything I had in me to remain calm. The postmaster allow this woman to stand right in front of him and take personal attacks at me on two occasions and she actually made a comment that pointed to the fact that perhaps my mail might be delayed by being "misplaced". I own my own business and I use the United States Postal Service to handle my shipping needs so I deal with post offices every day and I am new to Wildomar. But I have never ever ever ever ever in my life left the post office shaking and feeling ill because I was treated with such disrespect that I had to go on Yelp and vent! even worse literally order somebody out and tell them they can never come back to the post office not because of my behavior but because I simply chose not to mail a letter through them that she had already weighed I said I would take my mail elsewhere and think about it. And SHE LOST HER MIND. I have every right to not buy your services if I feel they are too expensive or not for me but this woman took that decision personally and literally told me to get out & never come back and she got LOUD and belligerent embarrassing me in front of a line of customers in the lobby.Absolutely intolerable behavior to have a customer speaking to a manager and have the employee in question involved in it to the point that they were not even allowing me to be heard. This female employee even insinuated that somehow my mail might become lost or something. I have absolutely no confidence that my mail is going to go out of the Wildomar post office timely. I like this post office a lot because it's friendly service. They workers there are trying there best to care of anything they can take care of. I try to have everything ready before hand. read more

Best post office in the area. The guy Dave is a little strange but quick. The girls working there are awesome.

I'm not sure if Lori Allen works at this location but I'm going to assume so because I live down the road. Let me tell you how nice this woman was. My brother sent me a package with some valuables in it, and when she saw the box damaged, she brought it to my door and advised me to take pictures before opening it, in case I needed to file a claim. She said the box may have had too much air in it when wrapped and so the heat may have caused the tape to separate, okay. But she marked it as visually damaged and made it a point to make sure I knew what to do if anything was. Great job, I'm very appreciative! Everything was fine btw. I LOVE this post office. I have NEVER had any issues. They give great, quick service here. Dave is the friendliest guy I've ever met. Very respectful and always seems to be in a great mood. The other staff is friendly as well, but don't remember their names. I used to live in Menifee, their post office was horrible. Stuff would always get lost and they would not be very helpful. read more

Best little post office anywhere. The window clerks are superb. They're always prompt and helpful.

This was my first time having to obtain a PO box (after being informed by my landlord to obtain one after living at his residence for several weeks). The postal workers that helped me with obtaining the PO box were quite helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend if you live or work in the area to utilize this post office location. read more

The staff at the Wildomar post office get five stars for friendly personal service. However they only earn one star for phone service which is basically non-existent. I've called the Wildomar Post Office at least fifteen times over two days and received a busy signal each time. I called again this morning at 8:05am and someone picked up the receiver and then hung up immediately after which the line was busy and will most likely remain busy for the rest of the day. It's obvious that the staff leaves the phone off the hook during opening hours. If you'd like to call the Wildomar office and not get a busy signal, you'll have to call after hours. As for the USPS Certified Letter delivery, it's pathetic and deserve but one star. Want to send an important document by Certified mail? Then you best not be in a hurry to have it delivered. I spent $8.00 for a double weight letter and for that I got a tracking number. The letter was routed 80 miles south to San Diego then back north to Moreno Valley where it has been cooling its heels. Six days and the letter hasn't been delivered. Thanks USPS. Next time I'll drop the first s and send important mail by UPS. read more

I just spoke with Willie on the phone and he was very helpful. He advised all the information I need to get a passport. When the best time to come in, the cost of the passport, and the cost of the photo for my passport. Willie didn't have to do all of that but he was kind enough to go out of his way to provide added information. Plus, Willie added the on-line paperwork I can fill out ahead of time before I arrive. It's a small town post office and employees are pretty friendly in general. I've been here for over 2 years and have never encountered any of them being rude. I can't speak for the passport section since I haven't had the need yet. It's a small office so it's understandable they are sometimes short staffed and you might wait a little longer during lunch or end of the day. Although I never had to wait too long. I think one of the ladies is named Siri, she super helpful and has a nice smile. read more

The passport lady suck ! She's beyond rude and I paid to have my photo taken there, she took the photo and a month later I got a letter from the federal gov to retake my photo because they can't use the one they took at the post office !!!! Wth I want my money back ! They need to hire people with manners and that know what they're doing. Thanks for wasting my time and money ! read more

We needed to get a passport application processed for our son. I was wondering if it would take a long time, but we were in and out in about 10 minutes! The woman who processed the application was very professional and efficient. The key is to make sure that you have all the paperwork, birth certificate, previous passport, i.d. photos ahead of time and both parents and the child must be present. Recommended~! read more

This location is ridiculous. I came in asked for a flat rate box but then when I came back to mail it they told me that it was not a flat rate box and charged me for the wait instead plus I waited in line & they told me I did something wrong and to get back in line and wait but then the guy behind me did the exact same thing but they let him fix his mistake and didn't make him wait again. read more

This is a great post office. The staff is always chipper and welcoming. They know the time frames for passports and won't let you waste money expediting! They love being there or at least it seems like it!!! read more

I needed a passport so off I go. The process took less than 15 minutes and the lady that helped me, was friendly and courteous. When we were finishing up, she gave me a bit more information on when when to expect it to arrive and the information needed should there be a problem. Love this Post Office. read more

I like the people who work at the front desk. very nice. But the delivery person has screwed up my delivery address several times. I have not gotten about 4 packages totaling around $600 bucks worth of merchandise. This is awful! read more

We live at Oak Springs Ranch Apartments and have had trouble with the postal lockers before. We have called several times, spoken to several people and have even had postal people come back to physically open the postal lockers for us. These lockers never open with the key they provide. NEVER. After calling and complaining and having several additional visits out here, the postal lockers and keys still do not work. Today was the tipping point when we spoke to the apartment management who told us that complaints have been filed before, and that a full investigation was done to fix the problem, AND YET THE POSTAL LOCKERS AND KEYS DO NOT WORK!!! This problem needs to be fixed ASAP since not having access to mail is a very big issue. I will be calling and filing a formal complaint with the postmaster over this, as this has happened at least a DOZEN times in the single year we have lived here. i been leaving in wildomar for 7 years and the post master in there her name Fay she has the worst personality ever when it comes down to costumer service Fay has no clue what that is!!!!!I dont understand how she has a job with her horrible attitude!!!!!!!!she should let other people take over her job....maybe we get someone else who can make us feels better.... read more
