Excellent wood fired pizzas. Fresh ingredients that are not from the bottom shelf at a toppings bargain bin. These are top shelf ingredients prepared by experts in specially made wood fired ovens. If you order the wings you're "wing eating life" will be fulfilled. My favorite ones are the V Signature however you can't go wrong here. Now top it all off with one of the best beer selections (tap or bottled/canned) and you have a new weekly (if not more) spot to go to. Come thirsty and with a growler as they will can or fill up with your favorite brew. Grab a Karate in the Garage (NE IPA-Simcoe and Mosaic Cryo Hop) and you are living my dream dinner with or without the fam. Speaking of fam there is an extensive playground right outside so you can distract the kids while you sample a couple of rounds. If you are looking for Pizza Hut pizza this is probably not for you, but if you want thin crust pizza with a perfectly balanced tomato sauce with quality toppings and cheese sparingly sprinkled on top....this is your spot! The wings are ridiculously good and the pizza is perfection! This location seems to under cook the pizzas ( compared to the San Marco location) I have heard it cause people complained about burnt pizza but you can always ask them to cook a little longer ( I like the burnt crusty edges!) read more

We had the pepperoni pizza, kids cheese pizza, and caprese plate. The pizza was amazingly delicious. The food did take a very long time to come out and the guy that delivered it asked if we needed anything else. When I asked for silverware he told me where to get it. Not sure why they ask for gratuity when ordering if they don't really provide a service that warrants it. I will be back because the pizza was good and there is a place for my kids to play. read more

We've been going to be pizza for close to a year now we love the margarita pizza and the cryin Hawaiian wings. We had one mishap with the wings not being cooked all the way... when we asked them to cook light meaning not dark but they re made them. If I was the manager I would've definitely comp the entire meal for that for sure ! But, at least it was acknowledged and taken care of. What is there to complain about, it's great pizza, a little pricey but I guess it's worth it because we keep going back. However, If they had a price increase it would definitely stop us from going back. Also, it doesn't travel well so not worth the price for take out, to us. I have been going to all the pizza locations in Jacksonville since 2018 and since I live closest to this location I started going here. Been here about four times now and it seems like it's ran by a bunch of teenagers. The pizza comes out bad and the wings come out terrible. We went to V's last weekend and they are converting totally to social distancing. They are building covered table area in the back outside and when we were there it was lovely. You get your drinks inside and then can bring them out to your table. It's now along the lines of everything is takeout so paper plates etc., except for the bar. So, as the resident foodie amongst my friends and coworkers, these guys are the #1 place I'm going to tell you to grab a slice of 'za if you ask me. I totally fell for the Napoletana way these guys do things here. The pizza is done super fast, with legit double 0 flour, San Marzano tomaters, buffala mozz and if you're wise, other delicious quality ingredients. After about a year or two of visiting V, today I fell in love with this one pizza special. I talked to one of the staff today and completely understand its a labor of love with this flavor. The buffala chicken pizza is on point: gorgonzola, mozzarella and some other types of cheeses were meltily good with FRESH crispy fried chicken tenders and buffalo sauce. ( the great staffer I talked to said he was frying chicken in the back like Publix lol~). As a self professed buffalo addict, I love this flavor and the cheese go so well together! I totally understand why its one off the more rare pies now, but please send me the bat signal when yall have it again? read more

This is a fantastic place to take the whole family! V Pizza makes delicious brick oven pizza and a whole lot more. There are plenty of options for kids to eat. The main appeal for my family of young children is the outdoor seating/ backyard/ playground area. On weekends there is usually live music. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxing and fun, and the service is very helpful and friendly. read more

We checked this place out while in the area. Ambiance is fair, although you will have to self serve yourself. We started out with tiramisu or should I say 3 bite tiramisu. We also ordered their signature margarita pizza, which was adequately wet -- however, the flavor was tasty. I would also add that the table beside us ordered wings that looked very good. Consequently, it was our first time here, we may have not gotten the right dish, so I would say if we go back we will definitely give the wings a try! read more

Not only great pizza - and I judge pizza by crust, and this is awesome - but also the draft beer selection. I really do not need any other place to go - this is it. Love this place. The food and service is always on point. The Carnivora with cauliflower crust is delicious! For the record I was completely against cauliflower crust until trying theirs. My favorite part though is definitely the beer selection. Plenty of taps with all your favorite styles from imports to locals. The bartender Patrick is very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about what's new on tap as well. All together a great place to grab some grub and suds. read more

V pizza is pricey but tasty. It's easy to customize a pizza to be vegetarian or vegan. We order the pizza cooked "light" to prevent the crust from getting a slight burn from the oven. We went to V Pizza for lunch today. Their lunch specials are great! You can get a personal pizza for about $12. I got the Hawaiian which was amazing! The honey pineapple on top was DELICIOUS! My daughter ordered a pepperoni pizza which was also great! The pepperonis themselves were something pretty special... thick cut and delicious. My husband ordered the carnivore. It was a little under cooked and thus a little floppy for his liking. The oven baked wings were TO DIE FOR! I can't wait to go back and get more! read more

Overhyped. I expected the carnivore pizza to have some meat on it, lots of meat. There were maybe a dozen marble sized balls of sausage. Any other meat would have required a magnifying glass to find. The crust was so limp it could not be picked up and eaten by hand and the knives so dull they'd have trouble cutting butter. It was cold by the time 2 of us were half way finished. I also expected more of an Italian flair; it's a bar that serves pizza. The staff was friendly but never revisited our table or waved good bye. read more

Not bad, but not great. Table service does not exist, in terms of ordering drinks and additional food at the table. You order when you come in, grab a number and find a table to have your food delivered when ready. We had to get our own beers unless we wanted to sit at the bar, in this case we couldn't since we had our little ones. The pizza and wings were good, I still think another pie joint in OP has this place beat but if you are in the area I would recommend making a stop here. The bill will probably be a little up there as the pizza and wings are a little pricey. They also have outdoor seating along with a swing set for the little ones. I go here specifically for the pancetta mac and cheese and occasionally I will order wings or a calzone to share. Myself, I cannot recommend the pizza, it is not my fav... but if you like decadent cheese sauces that are rich and full of flavor, the Pancetta Mac & Cheese is where it is at! It comes out in a hot skillet sizzling ! I wish I could post a video because I want you to get the full experience and get your taste buds dancing like mine when I see the cheese and pancetta start sizzling! Went their last Friday night after my granddaughters play to celebrate with pizza and a few beers. The back deck is huge and gives you a chance to spread out and talk and have a good time. Simply fantastic! Now I'm a Chicago transplant and the one thing I miss besides great hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches is my Lou Malnati's pizza. And while I had to come to terms with I won't find Chicago pizza outside of Chicago, I have found an excellent pizza place with great beer to boot! All the pizzas tend to be 14" size and this far have been a thin pizza. The creativity is excellent! I highly recommend their meatball pizza, meat lovers pizza, vegetarian pizza, and if you want a little more out of the box on occasion, try their special pizzas. Example: I got eggs in purgatory pizza. Soprassata meat and pancetta with sweet roasted red peppers and red onions, garlic, oregano topped with soft cooked eggs that are broken open on top for an oozy eggy goodness. Sounds weird but is awesome!!! All cooked in their old school show stopping pizza ovens. Now, Lunch is quieter and you can downsize your pizzas to 10" during lunch if you want. But why when you can have some awesome leftovers! The beer selections are great and always changing. Offering local, domestic, and imports on tap. Family friendly; everyone can get the pizza they like/want. Very casual and good place to go to grab good suds and food. read more
