Y'all are bogus. 2 stars... Good bake shop good alternative to Starbucks. Good coffee. Airport prices is inevitable. Got the banana white chocolate muffin with iced coffee right as my plane was about to board. No complaints at all.

Stopped by on Thursday, 08/01/24. Located inside LAX Tom Bradley International Airport. I ended up not purchasing anything here since this place does not offer anything Matcha related unfortunately, however I wanted to submit a review and upload the most recent menu so that Yelpers can take a look at the prices. Have a great day all and try it out!

My flight landed at 8:30 am and I walked out to see the gorgeous site of pastries and coffee! I had a cold brew iced coffee that really hit the spot; and I was full of energy after that. They have an assortment of breakfast pastries like croissants and danish, and they had cookies and cupcakes that looked to die for! Super cute little cafe, clean, tidy, and the workers were friendly and moving quickly! They were almost out of pastries at 8:30am so they must be good!

It's in Terminal B near gate 151 across from Starbucks. Surprised to see a Vanilla Bake Shop at the airport! Prices are pretty reasonable for an airport concession. The croissants were $4.50 and large coffee was $3.75. We saw the line was way too long at Starbucks and we saw this shop nearby. We've heard of their products before and thought they'd be too expensive at an airport but surprisingly good price. Quality of food as expected and service was fast.

$7 for a brownie or a cookie? Ridiculous. We went for the croissants. Service was fine.

Should be called Molasses, that's how fast the staff moved. ‍

Extremely slow customer service! I don't expect anyone to go at the speed of light, but it was clear. This young lady had no intention of moving any faster than she wanted to. She was almost robotic in her mannerism & at some points, like she was in a Daze- unsure of her next move .

I had a great latte And I want an almond croissant This is where I do coffee at LAX Oh to have the croissant too!

All cookies are $5.- the bran muffin was $3.35, cup cakes $5.- No prices on any of the food.

Cappuccino (16oz) was $5.35 This nonsense of not showing the prices anywhere (not even on a monitor) is the ultimate customer DISservice - also, the workers get extra trouble and customer end up walking away (happened while I was there), because they suspect price gauging. The bran muffin didn't taste good and the coffee I didn't drink, because the barista behaved suspiciously. Definitely not going back.

LOL this review is solely based on the blueberry muffin - so dry and crumbly! Also if you wanna get water/snacks probably just stop by the duty free/other concessionaires to save money, which I realized after I ordered. Overall the caramel macchiato, blueberry muffin, sandwich and the water came out to $23. (I'm mainly ok w spending at the airport bc my husband is terrified of TSA confiscating any food/snacks LOL) Brownie points for the customer service - the cashier was the only one working so she made drinks and took orders and managed the line.

    The goods.

Perfect double chip chocolate chip cookie!…read more I get why these cookies are so hyped up- perfectly gooey in the middle, not all the way fully baked in the middle, the chocolate chips were melty - I know people do "cheese pulls" but you can honestly do "chocolate pulls" with these cookies. It's relatively busy but the line moved swiftly. The Larchmont store was pretty lively with the crowded and colorful wall deco! It's pretty fun to see that they came up with more seasonal items lately and most of them nailed it well when they came to cookies. Previously the lemon one and the most recent was the Raspberry Pistachio which I was impressed by as I just fancied sweet and refreshing combo of white chocolate and raspberry. The pistachio added more texture to it for sure. Same as any Levain cookies, best enjoyed warm and fresh out of oven. The Cookie Milk Latte was actually the main reason bringing me here, yet I was bit let down by it as I was expecting more malty cookie flavor in the drink. I felt it tasted not much different to regular cream top latte with some cookie crumbles in it.

Delicious drinks and creative pastries!…read more Tried Fondry LA and the matcha vanilla pistachio drink was definitely the highlight--so delicious and perfectly sweet without needing any sweetness adjustment. Easily my favorite thing I tried! The tofu cream croissant toast was airy and light, with a creamy topping that wasn't overly sweet. The mushroom béchamel was savory and good. I only got it because my brother suggested it. Normally I would not seek mushroom pastries even though I like mushrooms. The yuzu meringue croiffin was good, but I am not used to tart flavors in croissant/pastry combination. The cafe is very tiny, with only one table for seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go spot. There are seats outside. I also wanted to try the black sesame pastry, but didn't see it available when I visited. I'd definitely go back to try it. The drink was the standout for me!

The key is to go on a weekday to avoid the line, as the weekend can definitely get busy. This last time I finally got to try the tofu cream topped croissant, which was ~to die for~. It was a little bit savory with the miso but still (not too) sweet. This felt super original and I would definitely recommend. I also tried the pistachio croissant and asparagus danish this time round and both were extremely good as well. I would have no qualms with re-ordering either. The only note is the pistachio cream is pretty runny, so it's hard to cut and share, as the cream just oozes out. The workers there are super friendly and kind. The drinks are also very good if you're looking to get a little extra treat as well.

Recently, they even started selling butter tteok, and I heard it was one of the first places to have it in K-town. I highly recommend the salted bread. Honestly, I think it's even better than the famous spot everyone talks about. My favorite is the corn cheese, it's especially delicious when it's warm. I also tried the Korean chamoe (melon) smoothie, and it was very refreshing. It tasted like they used real melon, since there was a slight natural tanginess that made it even better.
