Let me start with the fried green tomatoes, they were cooked perfectly. We could cut them with the fork. Seasoning was great and did not over power the tomatoes. My wife loved the pimento cheese spread. She had the Vicious Benny which is a southern twist on eggs Benedict and was very good. Great, fun place for brunch! We actually did takeout and it was ready in 20 min on a Sunday which was amazing to feed hungry family members. Food was all still hot by the time we got home. These biscuits are amazing! Next time I will probably order at least one on the side because I love just a good, solid biscuit with butter. I saw reviews for Vicious Biscuit in Mount Pleasant, but, other then the time we had planned on spending with friends in Summerville, really wanted to focus on historical downtown Charleston and not really be out in the burbs. Just happened to see that there was a location, recently opened in Summerville and knew we had to check it out. We were there on a weekday when it was not super busy so got our orders in and sat right at the counter (my favorite spot) and everything came out super quickly. SOOOOOO much food for the price and really delicious. My wife had a few of there mimosas that she really enjoyed and I had one bloody Mary only, since I was the driver of the rental land yacht, lol. Really good place to brunch. Got to work on that Hollandaise sauce though. As you can see it's either not right or sat too long. Still very delicious but the texture was off. Yes, we did eat at both locations in one day! Went to the other location for breakfast and had no room to even try these shareables (more like dessert for us). Both were delicious with the favorite being the vicious shortcake. While we loved both, the clear winner overall is going to be getting the A-mazing biscuit sandwiches. This location was much busier, but I'm thinking because we got there right about lunch time - even with it being busy, we only waited a minute or two to place our order and had no problem getting a seat. Notably, this location also seems louder and more trendy than the other, but again we visited the other location for breakfast so perhaps that is why. Both locations are nice, but I'd pick the Mount Pleasant one if I had I choice. However, Vicious Biscuit gets 5 stars!! You must try this place! read more

Ordering to serving was processed faster than I expected considering a long line of ordering foods for dine in. Crab Benne was gone, so a lady recommended shrimp and grits. It was pretty good. I wanna try biscuit alone without gravy for the next time to taste the biscuit itself. Before taking Scotlyns home, I had one bite. The texture and cinnamon filling inside were very smooth. One of my favorite places to eat in the Charleston area!! Both locations are great. The plain biscuits are AMAZING (there's a butter and jam bar so you can top it with flavored butter, like maple bourbon and different jams) My favorite menu items are the hammy sandwich and the Matter (fried green tomatoes). When I tell you this review starts with a vicious and "full" stomach. This place has met all my expectations and exceeded them. I literally ate the vicious biscuit and got a vicious screwdriver to drink! While doing so I was graces by a staff that was not only courteous, attentive and helpful with helping me decide what I wanted. The whole experience was truly a "vicious vibe". The owner was so pleasant and we were able to connect and have real conversation that kept my whole experience woven in the fabric of the culture that has been set in and upon this place. Should have known this place would be great based on the line out the door as soon as they opened at 8am on a Sunday. Definitely a messy meal, but so worth it. The line started outside, however after 15 minutes we were ordering our meal. The venue has seating inside and outside for patrons. Social distancing seating is encouraged if needed. My husband always gets the Gravy Train which is Sausage Gravy over 2 biscuits. He only ever eats one, so I always eat it for breakfast the next day and I too it with a soft scrambled cheesy egg on top. Talk about a tastebud explosion! I love this place and my husband is a big fan of biscuits. I've never seen a biscuit as big as they serve. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. My brother and I almost tried a different restaurant due to the line but I'm so glad we stayed and waited it out. The food was delicious! I will be doordashing the beignets to my house in the future! The only con is seating and I understand how it's set up for efficiency but it was hard to find a spot to sit. Also, you order before sitting which is good...but also it makes it hard to order more juice or drinks if you want more than one since it's not a normal sit down type of restaurant ; at least when we went and it was very busy.
