Absolutely awful. Went today and left after an hour after we never got our food. Went in about 12:40, it's was busy but there were empty tables. Sat down right away and ordered our food within 5 minutes. We only only ordered 3 sandwiches, nothing fancy. We didn't see our waitress again for another 40+ minutes and when we finally did see her we asked how much longer until our food came out. She said another 15 minutes. We just had to leave. There was no apology for a delay, no offering our 3 year old something to snack on while we waited an hour for a sandwich. Nothing but a curt attitude and indifference. Would absolutely not recommend, wasted an hour of our road trip. read more

Have lived in Hudson for 12 years, and today was our first visit to Victor's. Our loss. We had a great experience. Food was good, coffee was good and hot, and the waitresses hustled. The wait wasn't too long; It's Sunday and we went about 11:30 AM. I'm sure we'll have less than five star experiences there in the future, but that's how it goes! Went with the family for a late Sunday morning breakfast. There were a few parties ahead of us but didn't worry since we knew that they turned tables quickly We were seated within 20 minutes which we as fine Our Server brought over coffee and juice right away and took our order within a few minutes but then the wait began It took over an hour to be served our order Thankfully the food was delicious I had the eggs Benedict over asparagus and grilled veggies and shared a side of pumpkin pancakes The servers were apologetic and friendly Not sure what happened in the kitchen I think they moved a Chef to the lunch grill keeping only 1 chef on the breakfast grill Will go again but will make it an early trip read more

A conditional 3 stars. If their coffee resembled anything close to coffee instead of coffee-flavored water, then they'd probably get a 4 star review for a traditional breakfast place. Food is quite good, home fries above average. Not sure if I'd go back, not because of the food...but because of that non-coffee. If it's any consolation, surprisingly too many restaurants cheap out on their coffee. Drives me nuts. read more

Hudson resident here.. We sat down immediately at the counter, we put our order in right away and then waited for 40 minutes for our eggs and bacon to arrive. Not sure if this place is understaffed or the kitchen is just this slow, either way we will not be returning. I'm not commenting on the food quality because it's still not in front of me, 45 minutes now! Good luck! read more

It's diner food! If people are expecting something else, then it's not the place for them. Coffee is good, waitstaff always friendly. Sometimes, if I've just had a 28hr shift in the hospital, and it's 8:30am, and I'm starving, I'd order steak tips or a nice big greek salad with a nice big cup of coffee, and I'm satisfied. So glad this place is a mile from my house. It's important to have a casual, convenient, good quality breakfast close by. The service is always fast and nice. Even when it is super busy. I have never had to wait to long for a table. My only gripe is consistency. Even if I order the same thing, my eggs always come out differently. Not that they are ever not to my liking, I love eggs so it doesn't matter to me. But someone who is a little pickier may have issues. The good thing about this however, if you ask for them to prepare them a certain way, they get it right every time. I haven't had a chance to try them for lunch but the menu looks like traditional diner fare. when I get a chance, I will certainly give it a go. read more

Victor's is a fantastic little diner in Hudson that serves great breakfast and even better lunch! Their skillet meals are the perfect hangover meals but if you're stomach can't handle it, then just get the hash brown patties. Just like McDonald's without the heartburn after! My husband and I frequent Victor's on weekend mornings but one day we decided to try it for lunch and were not disappointed. He had a turkey club that came with easily a half a pound of turkey on it and I had a burger that was delicious! Perfect diner food! Highly recommend this place but it is by all means a diner so don't have high expectations on modern decor! And if you're going on the weekend after 10am, be prepared to wait! Counter seats are always first come first served! read more

Live walking distance for the past 10 years and they have always provided great breakfast. This is a 10 meal everytime we go there. I usually go for the benedict or farmers breakfast and love it. Service is good even when it is jammed packed in there. Have never had a bad meal here and will go typically 2-3 times a month. read more

Went to this place after Apple picking at Carver Hill, as it was recommended to us by one of the staff. Had the Irish skillet with an English muffin on the side, and it was quite delicious. A little too cheesy, but that's to be expected from a diner. The coffee wasn't the best, however. Would come back just for the skillet. read more

I honestly feel really bad for the waitresses here. The food doesn't come out at all fast. I went here with my boyfriend once and we waited for 15 minutes until a seat was open, not bad really. Then we were seated and the waitress warned us that it was going to be a long wait for food, that the kitchen was backed up with orders and under staffed. Both of us have worked in food service so we know what it can be like. So we waited, and waited, and waited...and our waitress kept saying sorry and brought us over a plate of hash browns to eat while we waited. It was over and hour wait for our food and the food wasn't even good in any way. We didn't say anything to the waitress but she comped our entire check. Knowing this in no way was her fault we left her a $25 tip. She didn't deserve that stress and I know not every table was as understanding as we were. read more

Cool atmosphere and great food. I had a bacon cheese burger omelet. The waitress was very friendly and the food came out pretty fast too.

The food is ok and the portions generous, but the prices are high and the service is painfully SLOW. On each of the last two trips there we waited ~30 minutes for our food to arrive. Pancakes and eggs should take just a few minutes, and they do most other places. read more

Ate lunch here last week with two friends. The atmosphere was retro and cute, the waitress was good but could've been friendlier, food was average. The two of us who ordered turkey club sandwiches got sick about an hour after leaving this restaurant ... I noticed a weird sour flavor when eating mine, but figured it was their take on the dressing/sauce/mayo. Not sure what part of the meal made us ill, but we definitely got food poisoning. Initially, I was appalled at the service I received. I came in and was BARKED at by a small waiter. I wish I caught his name; I came to find him fascinating. I love what they did with the pancakes -- my son ordered the Diabetes Bomb Cakes and received two delicious flapjacks absolutely sloshed in butter and grease. I had a couple bites, and while they were delicious, I couldn't handle them. I will be coming back to try again soon, but I was advised by the manager to fast for three days in order to find success. read more

So I have been going to this place for many years. it changed hands a few years back, and my husband and i thought we would go there again, because i remembered I really liked their eggs benedict. it was very crowded last sunday. our waitress was quick to take our order, and get us coffee. we ordered and noticed that people around us were all waiting for their food. we waited about 40 min for our eggs, while those around us were served, I made eye contact with our waitress many times and she knew we were getting frustrated, but never came to say she was trying to find out where our food was. We saw her go into the kitchen few times, my thoughts, they lost our ticket. she rushed past us and said quickly , "you're next." then 15 min later, we saw people who came in 20 min after us, get theirs. and they had the same items. I stood and found her on the other side. and asked, again she said she was not lying, we were next. not a good experience. my eggs benedict was very cool,but my husbands omlete was hot. so obviously mine was sitting around. needless to say i paid in cash. no tip.. not a good experience at all. if you are a good waitress at least communicate with your patrons about what is going on with their food. dont ignore them and rush past them. it hurts your tip. we wont go there again sadly. read more

Best place in Hudson to get a good greasy breakfast after a late night. If your going on a weekend plan on waiting and plan on struggling to find a parking spot. But don't let that deter you because the food is worth it. My go to is the the eggs over easy, bacon, home fries and eye toast. The eggs Benedict is always good too. This is an easy place to miss if you are a first timer and are not familiar with the route 62 rotary part of Hudson. Friendly service and good food in a very blue collar area. Diners of all kinds come here, from families to professionals in business casual dress. There are all kinds of seating options, at the counter, at tables or at booths. The walls are studded with pictures of the 50's - Rat Pack, Marilyn, Elvis. My country omelette with home fries was very good. My spouse's chocholate chip and banana pancakes was delicious. Avoid this place on Sunday mornings. Long wait for a table. Long wait to place your order. Waited 25 minutes for 3 plates of eggs. Then waited another 20 minutes for the check, which we had to ask for several times. Food is ok, nothing special, certainly not worth 2 hours of the day. Victors is a cute little spot in Hudson. The very friendly staff is very small and there is a lot of food to serve so I find myself waiting around 45 minutes for my food. The food is good, typical diner food - the home fries are flash fried so they are obviously delicious. Parking is difficult, but it's worth it if you can get in there. read more

A huge difference in service, food quality, menu choices, and cleanliness since new ownership has taken this place over. My wife and I love going on Sundays because they serve breakfast until they close. Really good pancakes, esp. with the blueberries. I really liked this place. It really had that old diner feel. The inside was cute and very clean and all the people were friendly. The food was really good and had great portion sizes. The price was nice too. We were all happy with the food, although my boyfriend said the pancakes could be a little less bland. (I thought they were fine).
