Went to Sebastopol, adorable sort of quaint but boutique style downtown vibe. You get a little bit of Berkeley, a little bit of Humboldt and a little bit of Santa Cruz all mixed into one. Decided on this place as it had good reviews, I thought the PHO was very good, the spring rolls were kind of typical but there was only two things that my husband and I left questioning. The first thing which has nothing to do with the food quality or atmosphere, was the gentleman that was helping us . He was very stoic and spending more time chatting with his coworkers than paying attention to us. We had to gently grab his attention numerous times for almost everything we needed. But the biggest drawback? The price. It was the most expensive Vietnamese place I think I've been to? Admittedly I got the filet mignon pho which was somewhat unique to me, the meat was very tender, it was very good but I think I paid about $24 for a medium bowl of soup. My husband said that his chicken PHO was nothing special. Spring rolls, again, good but basic, would I go back? Probably not. But, I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for filet mignon as an option for my soup in the future.

Great experience at Viet House! We had a late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was being held down by a solo server and he was great, giving some extra tips and being very friendly. The space is very nice, no complaints. My pho and her vermicelli bowl were solid with great flavor; though, our largest challenge with this restaurant is the price. $54 (including tip) for our two dishes with literally nothing else ordered is rough, even for the area. Ultimately, still worth a visit for good Vietnamese food in Sebastapol but hard to make this a repeat spot.

The best tasting pho broth I've had so far! A little pricey but overall pretty good I believe I got the special pho

Clean and proper dining for a Vietnamese pho restaurant. They offer the condiments in the to go packets versus the bottle self-squeezed ones. It's Americanized rather than the more rugged Vietnamese pho restaurants I usually go to for pho grub. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was different and spiced nicely. Came here for their beef pho since I was craving it especially on a foggy rainy day. the broth flavor was lacking, but it hit the spot. Egg rolls were yum. Service was attentive. Solid spot.

After getting off work a little early, I was looking for a place that was open. I came across this adorable Vietnamese restaurant. I came in and was immediately greeted by the kindest server who was friendly and engaging. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to eat. Ben, the super kind waiter patiently went through my options that I was weighing out and kindly suggested the House Special and I decided to go for it. He paired it with Sapporo Beer and my meal was exactly what I needed after a long day. Paired with great conversation with Ben my meal made my night! Would definitely recommend !

Over all the food was ok. The server was nice and the dining space was clean. Nothing special overall.

Nothing like having some chicken pho when cold. After looking for a place to eat we decided that pho would do us some good. This place was very clean and casual vibe. Service was very nice and they kept on checking in with us the entire time. Food was just what we needed. I just felt bad I had to ask for more siracha and chilli since I usually put a lot of it in my pho and they only had the individual packets. They never said no though so I appreciated that from them. Very nice quick stop to eat at.

Best, flavorful, crave able broth in their Pho ! Can't get enough of any of their dishes!

The restaurant's indoor/outdoor set up, along with its lily pond (which my young daughter loved!) and greenery was lovely. The food portions were SMALL and extremely expensive compared to the East Bay and SF. Their host was either new or unprofessional. Typically I make reservations at dog friendly restaurants there's a check box to inform the staff if there's a dog. There was none. When we arrived the host was understandably surprised but unfortunately did not handle it professionally. Letting us know he needed to ''get creative' with our reservations because we didn't specify we had a dog, then making a big show of add an extra chair to their patio to accommodate all of us to scolding us to 'leave a note next time' was all unprofessional. While I agree I shouldn't have assumed, I don't believe - especially since we were able to be seated within five minutes of our reservation- we should have been spoken to like that. Our waiter was nice. Their indoor/outdoor patio was filled with plants and that was very nice to look at.

I also thought the pricing here was reasonable for great pastries. I have paid much more than what I paid at Sarmentine for less scrumptious pastries. The staff who helped me out were kind, and they offered some great recommendations as to what I should order. I ordered an almond milk latte but was initially given regular milk. They remade it, though they seemed annoyed about the mistake. After spending over $40 and getting back to my car, I realized the remake was just steamed almond milk with no espresso at all. For a bakery with such a strong reputation and premium prices, I'd expect a little more attention to detail and a better customer experience.
