If you are a tourist this location is very discreet and aways from the strip...but it is worth the drive or Uber. Fantastic ambiance with wonderful music and old movies playing ( I believe My Fair Lady was playing). Wonderful attentive service by waiters and waitstaff that are incredibly experienced and caring. Food is always on point. Great charcuterie boards, lovely flatbreads, great salads. I started with a unique cocktail "The Brooklyn" Four roses bourbon and spices made this a refreshing drink. Most everyone else had glasses of wine ( which were reasonably priced!) My Crab cakes were good not great but still flavorful enough. What I truly loved was my main course: free-range half chicken with truffle honey-mustard glaze, trofie pasta "mac and cheese" and broccolini..... it was a huge meal with every portion flavorful. It's always amazing when you come here. I am not a truffle fan but tonight I tried the Mac that came with a friends chicken, and I was very impressed. Very light, toasty, and had depth, truffle wasn't the lead singer in the dish. As far as the prime bone in rib eye goes? You can not beat this steak. The meat is always cooked to perfection. But if I'm being honest, and this may shock some people. I really order the dish so I can have the potato hash. I have never had anything like this in my life. Date night delicious!! Our friends made reservations for double date night so it was our first time here and it proved to be an off strip, hidden gem. I definitely see a return trip in our future! Our waiter was great with wonderful food and wine recommendations and everybody was very attentive! The vibe is upscale laid back with comfy couches and pillows for some tables. So some three years ago we celebrated my birthday here with a great lunch and now it was my desire to celebrate again but this time with dinner service. The place is packed, so making a reservation was smart. We checked in and got seated right away. Service began immediately upon being seated. Our sever and his assistant introduced themselves and took our drink orders. Then they quickly returned to inquire about the rest of our choices. Starting the night with a cocktail, we both had the French Fashioned - Hennessy Black Cognac, Lazzaroni Amaretto, fresh lemon juice, rock candy syrup, and orange bitters. It was a really great choice, the orange bitters was heavy, but overall enjoyable. For appetizers we got the mixed green salad with fresh pear, candied walnuts, gorgonzola crostini and champagne vinaigrette, the grilled octopus with roasted baby potatoes, celery leaves, chorizo piccante oil and a flatbread, prosciutto with roasted sweet peppers, fennel, micro-arugula and white truffle oil. All three were great, good flavors, generous in size and were good choices. I especially loved the champagne vinaigrette! For our entrees we had the veal scaloppini with crimini mushrooms, lemon, marsala and capellini aglio olio and my Chilean sea bass was so good, I cannot remember everything it had, but I know there were cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus and lemon butter sauce. My fish was cooked perfectly, it had a very crisp texture and a very flaky bite. The veal scaloppini was very tender and smothered in Marsala sauce. We enjoyed the Meyer lemon and blueberry cheesecake, and a complimentary tiramisu birthday dish. Service was excellent, food was good. Attentive but not annoying. Food was mediocre. Skip the Mediterranean soup. It was an overwhelming boring Italian wedding soup. I picked the meatballs out because that's the only thing that had flavor. The beet salad was really good and a good portion size. My one complaint is that it had minced mango and strawberries... odd to pair with lavender goat cheese....Just not a match for my palate. The BIG complaint was the scallop entrees. Both of us ordered this dish, so trying to match timing with another dish that requires longer cooking is moot. The scallops (on both dishes) were over cooked and tasted like rubber. Sucks when's there are only three of these mouth watering joys. The positive is that there's such an abundant amount of ooey, gooey, cheesy risotto that you can drown your rubber scallop sorrows with comfort food. Their steak is excellent! It is at the top level of steaks in Las Vegas and that includes the unbelievably expensive steaks at Wynn, T-Bones, Harlo, etc. For the price you pay and the quality and great taste Vitners is clearly the best value. If you have to wait, sitting at the bar and playing the video poker is unlikely and fun for such a nice restaurant. They shush you if you celebrate a great hand... Have tried to come here so many times. It was one of those places I made reservations for and had to cancel for whatever reason over and over. Finally got here for my birthday and was not disappointed. It's small and so it's loud. If this was 50% I can't imagine how loud it is at full capacity. It's really lovely inside and the bar is cool. I'd like to come back and just hang at the bar Food was amazing and we had the cheese plate and several entrees. The cheese plate allows for as many items as you wish. We had 7-8 items and everything was good. There was some confusion as we ordered 2 blue cheeses and 1 cheddar but got the opposite. They quickly made it right. For dinner we had the sea bass, the diver scallop special and the halibut. Sea bass was cooked perfectly and very tasty. It was a good size piece and I ate it quickly Scallops were perfect size and cooked well. It was a special so I don't know if they have it all the time but would definitely get it again Halibut was very good. Nice piece of fish and cooked perfectly. Ambiance:think 'Old Hollywood' or 'Old Vegas' because it feels like you've stepped back in time where the service is excellent, the people are dressed up (not required), it's very lively with old-timey shows on the tv's/games playing at the bar. The decor has old wood, white booths, black and white stripes, and a fun tiled bougie bathroom! The food was flavorful and well presented. We split the vegan portabella mushroom with spaghetti squash which was wonderful and lots of flavor. (They brought us each our own perfectly presented plate) our daughter in law got the lamb bolognese (her 2nd time to get it) and loved it. Our son got the halibut. It was a good size piece of fish and he said it was good. We got the crab cakes which were exactly what you hope it will be-crab, not fillers! Also the beet salad app with goat cheese. It looked tasty but didn't taste. Dessert was lemon cheesecake! Not too sweet and very creamy-perfect. They had the lava cake but not sure about the raspberries or inside filling(maybe dark chocolate). Service was excellent and prompt. Everyone was nice. Yet another review of Vintner Grill: continued excellence! We celebrate our anniversary last night and we were treated like royalty. The service (Miguel) was excellent and our cocktails were cold a quick. I had the rack of lamb and Joe had the bone-in ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly (medium rare which some restaurants can't seem to handle). I also had the shrimp cocktail and Joe had an assortment of cheeses and sausages. The ambiance is terrific and we enjoyed people watching from our cozy nook. Love the old time-y movies that are perpetually running. I've been on a run of five-star reviews lately, and that's because I've had so many five-star experiences in Las Vegas since moving here. Our department holiday luncheon was held at Vintner, and I was just gobsmacked at how much I enjoyed the braised lamb bolognese. I had had a duck bolognese recently that I also liked, but this was out of this world! Since we were a large group, I got to sample so many delicious dishes, including: - Crispy Calamari - Crab Cakes - Fromage and Carne Plate - Tiramisu - Creme Brûlée - Apple Cobbler All were amazing. The cobbler was the most unexpected - my coworker ordered the creme brûlée, which I would have had, so I "settled" for the cobbler so we could have more variety. We all thought it was the best dessert on the menu. Enjoyed the experience so much that we came back for Christmas dinner. I had the same entree, the mister had the scallops, which he loved, and we tried a couple cocktails (Brooklyn and Pearfection), both excellent. Just tried Vintner Grill and it was outstanding. The room is beautiful. It's very comfortable and quiet enough for conversation. Service was attentive (my water glass never got empty), professional and friendly. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass - at reasonable prices. The food was amazing! The lamb bolognese was one of the best dishes I've ever had. It was "I don't care that I'm in public, I really want to lick the plate" good. I probably give too much weight to coffee when judging a restaurant, but it can be so disappointing after a great meal to get a luke warm cup of old coffee. That's not the case here. I would give Vintner Grill a sixth star for coffee service. I really appreciated that they serve very hot, very fresh French press coffee. This restaurant is as good or better than anything on the Strip for a fraction of the price. read more

I had noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary and the hostess greeted us warmly and wished us happy anniversary, gave us a lovely table. Our waiter also wished us happy anniversary by way of greeting. Service here is always attentive but not intrusive. We discovered Vintner Grill about 2 years ago when my uncle gave us a gift card to go. I have to say this is one of the most underrated restaurant in Vegas. I have never had a bad dining experience here. The staff is as nice as can be, the food is always incredible, and I love the ambiance of Vintner, especially when the room is filled up with natural light. There's so much charm and class and we love sitting at the booth (or you could call it a couch) facing the projector that's playing old black and white film. Now with the food my favorite dish is the -Crispy Free-Range Half Chicken With Truffle Honey-Mustard Glaze, Trofie Pasta "Mac And Cheese" And Broccolini & my husband loves the -Prime Beef Tenderloin, 8oz. With Brie Potato Puree, Grilled Asparagus And Green Peppercorn Sauce We went to Vintner on Valentine's Day which had a special entree of the prime beef tenderloin and lobster, cauliflower soup, and strawberry tart for dessert. It was the best portions and I left not overly stuffed but overly satisfied! I would 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone. VG is one of our 'go-tos' for a nice dinner out. The service is impeccable. The food is prepared and presented beautifully. Because I prefer sitting outside 'these days', they have a lovely outdoor seating area with different arrangements depending on your party size. If you are a bigger party, you can reserve one of their cabana/gazebo-like tables. Our options (because I waited til last minute) for dinner reservations was either 5:45pm or 9pm. We opted for 5:45pm and I'm glad we did because we got a really nice table near the water fountain. We spoke with our server about wine ideas and he pointed us in the RIGHT direction. (They have an extensive wine collection and unless you are well versed in wine or a sommelier, I suggest asking for help.) I love the selection we made... the Sancerre was amazing! And as luck would have it... also very difficult to come by (as our server explained to us it would be since there are only 7 bottles left... and possibly those are the last 7 bottles in Southern Nevada.) I looked for it online and found it in New Jersey, but they don't ship. Darn! I digress.... They served us bread and butter with a regular pesto and with a tomato pesto to get us started. We ordered a salad and the crab cakes for starters. The crab cakes were very good, and if you weren't terribly hungry... would have made for a nice dinner entree. You get 2 crab cakes with some greens. The salad was a butter lettuce salad... light, crisp, refreshing! For our mains, we had the Chilean Seabass and the Seafood Bouillabaisse. Both were very good portions. Mom took home half her seabass, and I had about 1/3 of my dish left that I just could not finish. The saffron broth for the bouillabaisse was light and paired nicely to the fish and shellfish in the dish. It wasn't heavy or overpowering. The fish and shellfish were plump, tender and very filling!
