Fabulous! Just go & enjoy. Don't look at the prices. Our party of four enjoyed some wonderful appetizers, including a fried portobello mushroom that came with a Gorgonzola fondue topped with pancetta. I have never seen anything like that and it was so delicious. I do not eat beef or pork or lamb so I thought this would be challenging, but it wasn't . I did eat the portobello mushrooms and picked out the pancetta. The Gorgonzola was warm and we drizzled on the fried portobello absolutely delicious. Another appetizer that we had was the fried calamari with hot cherry peppers. Also very good. The portion could've been a little bigger though. For entrees my dining partners had the ribeye steaks. The steaks are very large and enough for two people to share . they ordered two steaks for three people. All three said they were fabulous. They do something here that I've never seen in Any restaurant , they come around with the different steaks pre-cooked. Explain them and show you what they look like , a very nice touch. The sides were also delicious. Make sure you get the potatoes with the cheese and truffles so good. We also had broccolini which was excellent. I ordered a shrimp cocktail. It was built as colossal shrimp however they were not colossal. They were very large, but definitely not colossal and tasty. I also had the house salad and it was excellent. The star of the show was the toffee brownie cake, which was definitely one of the best desserts I've ever had. Do not miss it. Leave room is fabulous dessert. We were celebrating two birthdays and they brought us out two ice cream parfaits on a plate which they wrote happy birthday in chocolate on. It was very nice touch. It was lovely that they did not charge for those birthday desserts. The previous night we were charged for not only birthday desserts at another restaurant in Orlando but the Roman candles put in the birthday desserts that we did not ask for. We received a gift card for sitting through a sales pitch. I see why. The decor was old and corny. I knew we were I. Trouble when we got olives that were hot. Not spicy but temperature hit. We ordered the fried mozzarella and the waiter was selling it hard with the saltine crumbs and beef tallow. Fried mozzarella sells its self. It was barely melted and was just ordinary. We ordered the meatball and ricotta. It was fine. Nothing special. The meatball was a bit mushy but I get it. The server was ok. He brought us out a bowl for the clam shells. We didn't order any clams. He told us entrees come with salad and gave us the salad options. My wife ordered the chopped salad and my son ordered the Ceasar. Both were up charges. Two of us had the spicy rigatoni and the sauce was very watery and had just a tiny kick. The Alfredo is made then mixed in a cheese wheel at the table. It's a decent presentation but it was basically salt. It was inedible. The chicken picatta was covered in peppers and also salty. None of us finished our meals. They just weren't good. Came here for the first time because my parents were gifted gift cards but don't live in the area. We were unable to make same day reservations but we were able to be seated immediately upon walking in. I'll give credit where credit is due: my food was fantastic. The filet mignon was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The fried mozzarella was phenomenal. However, our service was disappointing, particularly because the prices are so high. When you pay a premium for good food at a "good" restaurant, you expect the service to be some of the best service you've received. When we were first seated, all seemed fine. The server gave us a presentation of all the meats and seafoods we could pick and what her recommendations were. But beyond that, it was nothing more than what I'd expect from an Outback Steakhouse. I had run out of water so I started drinking from my partner's glass of water. I finished her glass of water as well. It wasn't until about 30 minutes later that one of the managers happened to stop by and ask how the food was that I was able to ask for more water. It shouldn't have to be said that, at a restaurant of this kind, no one should have to wait 30+ minutes for a refill on their water or any other thing. So much time had passed that we actually wondered if our server went on her dinner break whilst serving us and the other few tables in that area. This restaurant is a part of a small chain. I have eaten at all of their restaurants and I have to say this is one of my favorites. It's very quaint and reminiscent of a Chicago style steakhouse. It is a bit smaller than some of their other restaurants, which makes it much more quaint reduces the noise. The food was outstanding and was only topped by the service from the staff. After several days in the Orlando area and searching for a great place to dine, I happened to come across Vito's Chop House the third restaurant in the area I investigated. The two previous were across the street and either did not offer an adequate ala carte menu or it was so loud that one would think they're dining in a nightclub, neither being of interest to me so I thought I would investigate Vito's. Upon arrival and to my amazement Vito's was offering valet parking to its customers at no charge. The gentleman at the valet desk was very professional and courteous as I asked if there was availability for dinner which he kindly responded he thought there was and welcomed us in. I entered Vito's and was promptly and courteously met with the host and another well dressed man I believe was one of the managers. I asked for a table for two and was welcomed and escorted to our seats. The restaurant was pleasantly decorated with a comfortable atmosphere. After a couple of moments we met the person that was to be our server (Nauzi) for this adventure. She welcomed us and helped us to settle in for our dining experience. She offered beverages to start and provided some excellent specials available if one was interested in other choices while we reviewed the menu. After a few minutes to look over the menu, Nauzi checked back to see if there were any questions she could answer and then shared the specials offered and also how fresh and meticulous the dinners are prepared at Vito's from the freshly made pastas, sauces, truffle butter and entrees. Everything is done for perfection. Our orders were placed for appetizers and our dinners and we thought that would be it. Not so. This is a dining experience. The presentation, the table-side preparation of some dishes and the knowledge Nauzi and everyone has of the dishes offered, the partnering of beverages to meet ones own distinctive preferences, the list goes on. As we continued to enjoy our dinner, a manager (Ashley) made her way to our table to ensure we were satisfied with our experience. It was like she had welcomed us into her own home and she was the most gracious host. Of course, we had no complaints, only rave reviews. I ran out of capacity to enjoy these delicious dishes and had to stop myself, leaving much untouched. You will not leave there hungry but if by chance one does, it would be by their own choosing. If you are ever in the Orlando area and are looking for a top notch dining experience, you MUST try Vito's. The food, service and ambiance cannot be beat and you will not regret it. What a great experience! The service was excellent and the food was superb. The calamari is a favorite of my wife and of course we couldn't stop eating it. Almost ordered another round! Our waiter introduced all the cuts of meat and provided his recommendations. My wife ended up ordering the spicy rigatoni and I went for the bone in rib eye with my favorite broccolini. This juicy steak didn't stand a chance against my appetite this evening. Let's just say there were no to go bags needed:) Perfectly cooked ribeye. Each bite better than the last. That truffle butter was a nice edition! Definitely recommend! Finishing off the dinner with an almond cake that was not overly sweet which is dangerous because you can end up demolishing an entire plate by yourself. I can't wait to come back! read more

We are there the other night. The food was delicious ; but, we were overcharged . Our bill was almost $600 for the four of us. I ordered an appetizer as well as my husband . Our waiter talked us into ordering a side of rigatoni for $20 so we could use a free appetizer coupon. When the bill came, our $20 side of rigatoni was $40 and so saved nothing ! I made a reservation for 7:15 pm and arrived 10 minutes early. We were promptly seated, and from the hostess to the waitresses and runners, the service was excellent. The highlight was the food; the Lobster Bisque with large lobster meat chunks and the 1lb Stone Crab for appetizers were delightful. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Mahi-Mahi, and my Ribeye on the bone was perfectly prepared, charred outside and pink in the center. Well I went to this steak house for the first time for my birthday. I noted this on the reservation. Location is very nice inside . Good decor. Our server was polite . But my problem was immediate. The manager partner sat us . I said hey this seat is next to the kitchen he joked yeah it is!? I was being sarcastic. I dress to impress it we were sat in the very back by the kitchen door i could barely hear the music in the restaurant . Servers kitchen staff spoke and yelled as they were busy but why sit me there. The server was polite and ran thru the specials and menu. The meat and wine presentation is geared to offer you the moat expensive items . I mean thats their job but to try to get you order high end items was too much. And this is a restaurant not a retail shop . It felt it was wrong .the food was not good my wife ordered the bread w ricotta was good but the salad was not good ordinary and tasted old. The steak i ordered which by the way is the reason why i went , was prime 85 dollars. It was a ribeye i ordered medium. When the steak arrived it was so under cooked it looked like a seared tuna . Also, it was so raw , it was white solid cold the grease which is common in a ribeye. I left almost the whole steak . Also the cut was like a ribeye cut in half? Long but skinny not a common ribeye. I was awfully not even rare. My wife had the pasta w the big cheese wheel presentation. It was a good presentation but the pasta was overcooked soft . The old fashion was the only thing i liked well done. For a restaurant of this caliber to treat a customer like you aren't worth anything and serve food this way and charge these prices is wrong. Well first off if you have Sarah as your server - RUN!! This restaurant was recommended by the Concierge at the Marriott Grande Vista as a moderately expensive restaurant. $1100 later for 7 people was a little too pricey. Sarah was your perfect salesperson. When we ordered she asked if we wanted house salad or Caesar salad with our meal because it was included- BUT failed to mention the additional $125 charge if you pick Caesar salad. Or the $8 extra per person for truffle butter - or the cost of 3 bottles of sparkling water she poured and kept refilling in everyone's glass to the tippy top. The Chicken parmigiana could have fed 3 people but failed to really explain that. Her answer when we asked how large was the portion was "I saw a little old lady finish the whole plate last month" - REALLY!! my 16 year old son who eats enough for 6 people couldn't finish it. My son sent his New York Strip back because it was so over cooked. My chicken marsala was hard and the chicken was so thick. An expresso martini was $25. I wanted a glass of house white wine and later realized I was given Stag's Leap! I ordered a $60 bottle of Chianti and was shamed into ordered a more expensive wine. Sarah must work on commission. I will never enter Vito's chop house again. Such a bad experience and a bad recommendation. read more

Vito's is part of the Talk of the Town restaurant chain. My husband and I had many wonderful meals at Vito's in the past. Sadly this restaurant has fallen to the lower I-Drive quality standard found at food service outlets that primarily serve tourists. After a recent remodel the interior has a flame window in front and planters with fake flowers that are reminiscent of a budget steak joint and not a high end Italian steak establishment. Entree prices are al-carte and are a significant investment. The meat quality is the shining star of this chain and does not disappoint. The accompaniments are substandard. The house salad which comes with an entree is a huge bowl of chopped lettuce, a few small cubes of tomatoes and two beets. I could not even taste any flavor in the dressing. The two slices of beets offered the only flavor. The garlic bread again looked fluffy fresh and garlicky only to disappoint. Service is top notch and although I sat at the bar I found service was attentive. Talk of the Town restaurants sent me a birthday offer. It was misleading in that you had to click on the coupon and scroll down to the small print. When the manager and general manager came over they asked how they could help me. I said well I would like you to honor the coupon. They said it required an additional purchase. Although this review might seem tainted by my disappointing email offer, I want to note I have recently had better meals during magical dining at other high end steak houses which are less than a mile away. read more

Came here for a work party. My favorite was the seafood tower. The crab claws were massive and full of plump meat! Even now, I'm still thinking about it. I would order it myself if I go again. And hopefully get better pictures of it next time. All of the serving sizes were massive. I ended up taking a lot of leftovers home. I got the 22oz Prime bone in ribeye, which was cooked well, though I didn't care too much for the seasoning. The sides, which were served family style at the party was decent - I recommend trying the mashed potatoes if you had to pick a side. Just stay away from the salads, unless you plan not to eat the rest of your meal. For dessert, I got the creme brulee that came with a side of fruit and whipped cream, which was a nice way to end the night. Overall, the service was pretty good. There were a few mistakes with our orders, but the staff was very courteous and quick to correct them. And everyone seemed to have a good time. read more

Not sure what they use to age or season their steaks but I'm highly sensitive to msg. I broke out in hives and a rash on my shoulder and hands and chest which is my typical MSG reaction. I had their Cesar salad and their 21 day ages steak I'm not sure if it was on their ages steak or something in the dressing but there is def MSG there. Our waiter was amazing and I love that he knew everything on the menu and even was able to give me a solid recommendation of wine that would pair with my chicken parm that I ordered. The portions here are huge so I highly recommend sharing because you're definitely going to be left with one or two days worth of food here! I was thankful they didn't have a pre fixed menu like some other restaurants do for holidays. We were promptly greeted by our server. I swear there was a legit whole lobster in there. I've never had lobster soup with that much meat. It was truly amazing. Yes it's pricey but it's so worth it. mY hubs started me on a bad habit for their soup (and restaurant in general) LOL!! For entree we both ordered the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly to the temperature that was requested. Literally a perfected medium. It was Extremely flavorful and delicious . Also worth the hefty price . Dessert was the tiramisu.
