    Taco plate
    Ashley B.

I'd say 4.5 stars, if I could rate it as such. I had seen this place advertised on Instagram and being that I love birria tacos, I was excited to give it a try. 3 taco plate - comes with 3 queso tacos, rice, beans, consome, salsa, and a drink. Red salsa was spicy and had good flavor. I didn't really feel like I needed it for my tacos though since there is consome for dipping. I really liked the beans. I usually don't like whole beans, but these were flavorful and just the right texture/consistency. The rice also had great flavor but felt just a tad too dry. The tacos were delicious! Generous with the meat and cheese. Seasoned great. I just wish the shells were crunchier. Birria fries - the fries themselves are great and I wish I could just order a side of plain fries. There was a very generous helping of birria, alongside some great cheese sauce and salsa. These are spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Great portions and ratios of all ingredients. BIrria egg rolls - my husband said they were really good, however, halfway through the second egg roll, he discovered a few bits of foil pieces embedded on the roll. He let the staff know just so they could be aware of it. Wasn't mad or anything. We understand that these things happen. Though I'm not sure why there was foil on something that's been deep fried and wasn't served on foil. They offered to remake it or provide a drink or dessert on the house, but he didn't need it. He was already pretty full from the fries and the other egg roll. Really moreso just wanted the staff to be aware of it happening so it could be prevented in the future. Staff was friendly and service was reasonably quick considering how busy it was. Definitely will be back despite the minor hiccups.

This place absolutely delivers on flavor. We've been searching for birria that comes close to Ed Fernandez Birrieria in Chula Vista (iykyk), and this is the first spot that's really a big hit. We tried the queso tacos and the clásicos, and both were so yummy and flavorful. If you're craving legit birria, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I don't even know where to start because I'm still thinking about this meal! WOW... Vito's Tacos in Burbank absolutely blew me away. First off, I came in not knowing what to expect, and left genuinely convinced I just had some of the best birria I've ever had. Like... no exaggeration. Everything I ordered and was recommended hit. We started with the birria egg rolls, and I'm not kidding when I say these alone are worth the trip. Perfectly crispy on the outside, packed with juicy, flavorful birria on the inside. That first bite?!!?Insane. The crunch + the rich, savory meat was just chef's kiss. Then i had the quesa tacos (one birria, one chicken), and both were so good in their own way. The birria one was super juicy and packed with flavor, and the chicken one surprised me in the best way, it was also super flavorful and not dry at all. The cheese crisped up perfectly on the outside, giving that slight crunch before you get into all the goodness inside. And you already know I had to get the consomé... and YES it delivered. Rich, flavorful, and honestly the perfect level of salty (in the best way). Everything had that bold, authentic flavor that just hits. Dipping the tacos into the consomé just took everything to another level. Also, I have to shout out Daniel, the general manager. He made the whole experience even better. Super welcoming, hospitable, and just genuinely seemed like he loved to be there. You can tell he really cares about the place and the customers, which goes a long way. With that being said, I highly recommend making a visit here because there's no way you will be disappointed here. Their grand opening is coming up on the 25th, and I already know this spot is about to blow up! I will 100% be back...probably sooner than I should haha.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming--even amid a noticeable lunch rush. The service remained efficient and well-paced, which made for an overall seamless experience. I ordered the quesabirria taco combo, accompanied by rice, beans, and a side of consommé. Each component was thoughtfully prepared and well-executed. The meat was exceptionally tender and flavorful, with a rich, juicy texture that paired beautifully with the melted cheese. The tortillas had the perfect crisp on the outside, creating a satisfying contrast to the softness of the filling. I personally don't enjoy onions or cilantro, and the staff was more than accommodating in customizing my order without hesitation--something I truly appreciate. To top it off, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. This spot strikes a great balance between flavor, service, and value. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to others. 10/10 recommend.

My friend and I came here hungry and ended up ordering way more food than two people probably should because everything looked so good. We tried the quesabirria taco combo, birria ramen, and birria egg rolls. The biggest surprise was the egg rolls. I've never had birria egg rolls before, and they were easily the star of the meal. They paired perfectly with the green salsa and were even better dipped in the consommé. I also enjoyed the quesabirria tacos. The flavor was great, though I wish they stayed a little crispier and didn't get soggy as quickly. One thing I thought was cool was that they offer a chicken birria option for people who don't eat beef. The only item I would skip next time is the birria ramen. The broth was fine, but the udon noodles were extremely soft and mushy. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the tacos and especially those egg rolls.

It was an 'ok' first experience. We were excited to try the new birria tacos. They recently opened and held an attractive grand opening, so we decided to give it a try for lunch. Small space, clean tables with limited seating, but unimpressive drink selection. I am not a fan of the Pepsi selection and would have loved a diet Coke. We ordered the birria tacos combo, comes with 3 tacos, rice, beans, a fountain drink and handful of lime wedges. Also ordered a chicken burrito, came solo with a lemon wedge. As we were sitting on our table, I noticed we were charged for two fountain drinks, instead of one. The combo already included a fountain drink. They did, however, refund us for the overcharge when we approached them. The tacos were good, a bit heavy for my liking, the chicken burrito was very plain, meat was on the dryer side. It did not come with any fixings like radishes, pico de gallo, or chips. For $20 each meal it's slightly overpriced for what you are getting. The combo included small portions of rice and beans, however, the meal itself was rather heavy and I could not finish it anyway. I think it was a good place to try once, but I don't see us going back.

Nice to have a new spot like this in Burbank. I will come again and recommend it. Only reason for giving a 4 star is one other place gives a little container of the consumé to dip the tacos in. You do get the consumé when you order a combo plate though. I elected to only try 3 tacos. I would give it 4.5 Good luck Vitos. Hope you'll be here a long time.

1st-- best beef tacos and green salsa! Their French fries was the bomb too! 2nd - cashier/staff so friendly and accommodating, you'll feel so at home and relax in the cute eating area., so clean too! 3rd - so close in my neighborhood so for sure will walk back for more fresh servings of other items on their menu like burrito and yes, egg rolls! 5 stars, highly recommended!

Quesataco with a sprinkle of cilantro and onion.

I read through the reviews and decided to order 1 quesataco to go to determine whether this was worthy of a return visit. I expected the taco to be on the crispy side (typically this type of taco should be crispy since you have to option of dipping this in consomé) but it was soft and fell apart as I was eating it. The taco as a whole was a bit on the salty side. When I tried the meat on its own, it was fine. The taco was supposed to come with cilantro and onion but the posted picture, shows it was a light sprinkle (and that's being generous). The green salsa was good, but if you're looking for spicy, this isn't it. I'm going to give this place a second try and order a Mulita in hopes that it might make up for the first experience. The service was on the slow side considering I only ordered 1 taco. The to-go container was a paper plate covered with aluminum foil but this could've been because I only ordered 1 taco. The place is small but has a fair amount of seating and the inside is well lit. Street parking is the only option.

Vito's Tacos in Burbank hits that perfect sweet spot between neighborhood comfort and bold, street style flavor. Their tacos come out hot, loaded, and unapologetically flavorful juicy meats, well seasoned, and paired with salsas that actually bring personality. The tortillas hold up, the portions feel generous, and every bite has that "okay, I'm coming back" energy. It's the kind of spot that keeps things simple but delivers where it matters flavor freshness, and that satisfying taco stand vibe that Burbank always needs more of.

Not long ago, we had some amazing tacos at the Beverly Hills location, so we wanted to give the Burbank location a try as well. Even though we had already eaten quite a few snacks earlier that day and weren't very hungry, we were still curious to see how this location compared. My mom really wanted to order the shrimp taco because she remembered how much she had enjoyed it before. However, the menu indicated that it was spicy. So, I asked if they could make it non-spicy or serve the spicy sauce on the side instead, but he explained that the taco is prepared with the spice already included, so they weren't able to do that. We then asked if they had any other seafood tacos. That's when we found out they had a ceviche taco as the special of the day, so we ordered two of those. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, although it was a little saltier than we expected. Even so, every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly. The employee who took our order especially stood out. He was genuinely kind and welcoming from beginning to end. While I was eating, I realized the ceviche taco was much larger than I expected, and I got full before I could finish it. I asked for a to-go box, but I couldn't figure out how to close the lid. The employee immediately helped me close it with a smile. They were just as friendly during the ordering process as they were afterward, and their excellent customer service really made our visit enjoyable. I would definitely come back to try some of their other tacos in the future.

Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

We got six tacos between the asada and al pastor, plus a queso burrito with asada. Everything was really good. My fiancée noticed that they were making the tortillas by hand right there, which was a nice touch and definitely made a difference. I especially liked the al pastor, and the queso burrito was really good too and pretty filling. I also liked that they actually have a big menu with the prices clearly posted. Not every taco stand makes the pricing that easy to see. The tacos were $3.25 each and the queso burrito was $13.50. Our total was $36.22 after tax. I will say the tacos are a little pricier than what we're personally used to. At some of the taco stands we normally go to, we're used to paying around $2 to $3 per taco, so $3.25 stood out a little. That said, the food was good enough that I didn't feel disappointed with what we paid. The only other small thing was the salsa. They ask if you want everything on the tacos and put the salsa on for you, while we're more used to taco stands giving you salsa on the side at the end. I'm sure you can ask for some separately, but since we were taking everything home and didn't ask, I just used some salsa we already had. Not really a complaint, just something I'd remember next time. Overall, we really liked the food and would come back.
