My co-workers and I were craving breakfast for lunch so we ordered waffle House to go! I called in and had 4 separate all star specials with different eggs for each and they were all cooked great! The hash browns were supposed to be diced which is tomatos added but that was left off so check before you leave. To go containers aren't the best for keeping waffle and hash browns crispy due to steam but everything was delicious. Crispy bacon and soft waffles, toast with butter and jam on side. They let us sub out hashbrowns for the grits, yum! Staff was quick and friendly, place looked clean and organized. I tried to pay separately but we apparently couldn't because it was called in on one ticket which seems like a simple fix but I guess not so mention separate tickets if needed. Late night visit. Food was good and cheap! Clean environment. I reccomend the pecan waffle and sausags, egg, and cheese sandwich.

They were really busy, no big deal it was a later Sunday morning. I walk in and of course no one was going to attend me, they were all busy. So I decide to sit and wait on a side chair until it cleared out a bit. While I was waiting I went out side to smoke a cigarette. I have been a waffle house fan for several years until this morning. I walked into the Pelham Road branch and asked the few people around me if they would like to sit up at the bar of which they said no. Two people next to me said they would love to which left the third one for me. I went to sit down and a loud Disrespectful waitress told me others were before me and to get out of the way so she could clean the table of which that particular table was already clean. She then proceeded to tell me I was disrespectful and I proceeded to tell her that she was the disrespectful one. After looking behind the counter and the absolute mess and nastiness of this restaurant and thinking about the lack of professionalism or even humanism I decided I would have to be crazy to eat in this environment. Sadly to say I will not eat at waffle house again after 62 years of patronage. I understand the pandemic, in fact I have triple tipped to help people that are respectful and fighting to make things work, but this place was nothing but a slap in the face And a stomach Turning event. The department of health will hear from me regarding this. I give one star only for the effort of it being open. The ownership obviously has no clue to their dismal path. read more

Never again!!! SLOW service!!! Ordered my eggs over easy, which I always do. The whites were still very runny so asked them to be cooked a little longer. Both the server and the cook got an attitude saying I ordered them over easy. And yes I did but I've never had runny whites on over easy eggs. My dining partner had over easy eggs and his whites weren't runny! Needless to say, he cooked them over hard (which I knew would happen!) and by the time my plate was returned to me the toast was cold. 2 bites of my eggs, half piece of toast is all I ate. I visit this location regularly because it's between my home and my job. I had to file a complaint with their corporate office 2 weeks ago because a young lady named Cierra was extremely rude to me and I just called corporate. I have not heard anything from corporate but this morning 1/4/19, another employee named Peggy was really rude and nasty to me even though she made the mistake. I walked in and she immediately stated in a rushed way that she would take my order but has a lot of orders to take. I wondered why another person did not help me but I still gave her my order. I ordered scrambled eggs and grits. The eggs are ordered in 2's so I was confused when she charged me full price for an order of eggs but I only got one egg. I realized it when I got in the car and when I went back in to ask her, she started sucking her teeth and breathing heavy. I remained calm even though I was upset and she continued to breathe heavy and tell me how busy she was. She walked back and forth talking to me in a very degrading manner. I had to get firm with my tone to get her to stop being rude to me and I still paid for 2 eggs but only got one. This location keeps hiring rude people and that's unfair to consumers. I felt so belittled and disrespected for speaking up for myself. She really treated me like I was a asking for something that was outlandish but I should be allowed to question the money I'm charged without being attacked by the company's employees. I spend money at several Waffle House locations everyday so I want to be respected like I spend money at the franchise everyday. I want the company to train their employees to be nice to the customer and care about our needs. I want to be treated with full respect. I am always nice but that does not mean I have to be treated bad by employees to validate that I'm nice and will take any type of treatment. Normally love this location but holy moly my waitress was trash. The first thing she said to us was "it's gonna be a really long wait. I just have way too much to do and I can't keep up." They weren't crazy busy, she was just a horrible waitress. When the waitress finally came back to clean the table before we ordered she brushed all of the crumbs into my lap it took 20 minutes to get my dang OJ, and when she waddled over to the table she set it down and said "don't drink this I gotta tell you something" then she came back 10 minutes later and said they're out of OJ and she doesn't have time to make anymore so that was bottom of the barrel OJ that was no good. Yum, my fav. I got the wrong food and when I told my waitress she said she didn't have time to fix it. I wanted a chocolate chip waffle but she gave me a regular one so instead of bringing me what I ordered she came over with a handful of chocolate chips and sprinkled them on my waffle (not to mention she licked her fingers several times while talking to me, and I'm positive she did not wash her hands before she tainted my waffle with some choco chips) when it came time to leave she could tell I was getting frustrated so she came over to my table 5 times to tell my party she was going to bring our checks and she hadn't forgotten about us. She could've gave me my check 50 times in the amount of time it took her to tell me she was bringing me my check. Finally, she gave us our first check then got distracted and walked away without giving the rest of us our checks. I had to chase her down and demand my check. And to top off my magnificent experience at the WaHo, this dingus charged me $24 dollars for a $9 all star special. 10/10 would not recommend. I'm born and raised in Atlanta so I've been going to various waffle houses since before I could talk. This one left little to be desired. When I walked in at noon on a Sunday it was pretty busy. I went alone and was hoping to sit at a booth so I could work on my laptop. I asked the waitress if I could have a booth and, even though there were some single spots at the bar I waited longer so I could have a booth. I waited about 15-20min and a few people had come in after me and were waiting too. A booth cleared and the waitress seated me. Then 2 minutes later she said, "sorry, we are gonna have to ask you to sit at the bar". You must be joking....... Just because some self-righteous old fart got pissy, they made me move. Regardless of this blatant disrespect, I gave my other waitress a good tip because I know how hard those girls work and one doesn't deserve to be stiffed because of another's patheticness. The customer service was horrible. It took 30 mins to pay for a order that was already done and I still didn't get to pay.
