Again with the half stars... I feel everyone wants one, or is it just me? I get this Waffle House 2.5 stars. My waitress was actually a 5 but the overall experience was very Waffle House. I came here because I was waiting on my new tires from the shop across the street so I figured I could grab a coffee and a waffle while I waited. The place had a few both with customer and it was pretty quiet when I came in. I grabbed a seat and I was quickly greeted by my server and offered drinks. I gave her my ordered and she quickly did her thing. I looked around some and then started to write. The food came very quickly or I write slow, I didn't even finished 2 pages and she was coming in with my food, ha! The food was not the best honestly. I told the server to add cheese to the eggs and I think the cook didn't want to forget to add the cheese that he forgot to add the eggs and he forgot to add the cheese on my hashbrowns. I also requested them extra crispy. I asked for medium bacon and the server wrote it and called it (heard her) and I got extra crispy bacon. The waffle was burnt once so it didn't come with the food and the second one was a bit undercooked. I think the cook was a little confused on the "extra-ness" of my order . Also, one employee really needs to remember that the back of the house is also the front of the house. I'm all for having fun at work, but when you are louder than all the customers that are present, maybe the volume should be at least the same. It was very Bon Qui Qui to say the least . $11.25 for this meal is really not worth it. So overall I give this place a "I only come here if I must" category. Visit with caution. read more

I am used to Waffle House quality but this was not only an order misfire but an utterly disaster. The people here embody giving up in America. I would have rather not eaten then attempted this burnt and wrong order disaster. In 15 years of Waffle House this is the worst one in existence while being in a decent county. Wild. Also please note the 1 star is based on the mediocrity I'd expect from a Waffle House so a 1 out of 5 of all Waffle House. If it's not worst in the nation I don't want to experience it. The food and service were great. The manager of this location made the experience pleasant. The family and I were lead to grab a quick bite to eat before tackling the crowd at the mall. So this Waffle House was near our hotel. Stopped in and at first we stood in the waiting area for a while. Soon the manger started clearing off tables to get us seated. She let us know that we were valuable to her and wanted to make us come to her location everytime we are in her area. And we will be back. read more

I'm giving it a 5. It's clean. The wait staff is friendly. The food is good and timely. Sometimes Waffle Houses get a bad name because they aren't fancy, but folks, I've been eating at them since I was a kid. When it takes 10+ hours to get to a beach, you can't be picky about the sit down restaurants at that time of the night. They have a strict standard that isn't the Ritz, but that doesn't mean it's bad. FYI- try a grilled chicken hash brown bowl with grilled onions. It's tasty. read more

If you are looking for food late night, don't call or go to this Waffle House. The staff is so lazy that they wont even answer the phone! Tried calling several times and no answer every single time! At first, I thought maybe they were really busy or didn't hear the phone, but they could care less. You have to physically go to the store and put in the order and wait and then the people who work there act like you are a huge burden and get mad and treat you like crap. I have even tried tipping extra and giving positive words but they still treat you like crap. read more

I always enjoy this Waffle House! The workers in here are fast and efficient. I get the same service in the morning that I get in the middle of the night. This is close to my house and that's a plus. I would visit this one again. It's really busy on Sunday mornings so plan ahead. read more

I ordered an arnold palmer and she kept it filled to the brim. She even prepared one to-go when she was getting me a to-go box for my food. I didn't even ask. Crazy as hell!!! The cook held up our food and said who ordered this I'm tired of looking at it? They took everyone's good to other tables. No one knew what was going on! The cook that was cooking the meat never washed his hands and only wiped them off with a wet cloth the whole time we were there! Can you say food positioning ??? I love watching the cook make the food. I sit at the bar when I go and it amazes me how he can keep up. I'm sure Waffle House is not as complicated at most restaurants, but it's the only one where you can sit and watch. The food is super great! I really wish I could give this Waffle House no stars. As soon as you walk in almost before you sit down they ask you if it's "for here are to go". Came here with my mom on a Sunday morning around 10 for breakfast. It was super busy, but we were able to be seated within a few minutes. We got a booth in the corner, which was nice. Our server was Lea, and she was awesome! She was very friendly and she was joking with us, which I really appreciated. My mom mentioned that it was my first time at a Waffle House, so she recommended one of the breakfast plates that would allow me to try everything. I ended up getting a blueberry waffle and me and my mom shared an order of hash browns. Lea stopped over to ask if we wanted more coffee a couple times, and checked in just the right amount. Our food came out pretty quickly, and it was pretty good. My only complaint is that the blueberries in the blueberry waffle aren't real, and because there are so many in the middle of the waffle, I didn't eat about a quarter of it. They're the kind of blueberries you get in frozen Eggo waffles. Like blueberry-flavored styrofoam. I sort of wish I had gotten a different flavor. The hash browns were good (I did add some extra salt, though I like my hash browns salty). They had good crunch on the outside and they weren't limp on the inside! It took a few minutes for us to pay because everyone was busy, but it wasn't an absurd amount of time and they were busy, I don't hold that against them. Overall, really great place! If I lived out here, I would definitely come back often! read more

I've come to this Waffle House a few times and had good service. Tonight it was a different staff and I came and ordered my food and went to the restroom, they had recently mopped and the floor was still wet and I fell. After using the restroom, I came out and told them that they needed to put a wet floor sign up in the hall leading to the restroom, the lady told me that they only had one sign and that it was at the front door like it was no big deal.
