    Waffle with bacon and coffee.
    Charles W.

I have a group of guys that get together for breakfast once a month. Waffle House was chosen and I have never been to breakfast at WH so here's my review. Our server was Sandra and she was fast, efficient and entertaining. I chose a waffle with bacon and coffee (yeah, I know my WH review is probably not valid without ordering hash browns). Our food quickly arrived and sadly was underwhelming. However service was very good and price was fair and I plan to return to try the hash browns and update my review.

All star breakfast - grits, eggs, toast, bacon

First time coming to a Waffle House. Our entire meal for two people was $18. For the price point, the food was good and the waffles were yummy. We left full and will be coming back to this location if we're ever in the area again. Our server was very nice and attentive. I wish I would have gotten her name. Thank you.

Sausage Egg & Cheese Bowl, hold the hash browns. Black coffee. Very Keto-friendly!

When I travel around the country, I love to stop in at the local WH because I know I'm gonna learn about the hospitality of the community. If the crew here is any indication, Plano is one of the friendliest towns in Texas! The atmosphere has been welcoming the last two mornings I've come in, and they've been very supportive of my Keto diet plans. I was able to customize my breakfast bowl to hold the hash browns, and the coffee here is perfect without any sweetness that can ruin my diet. I also rate higher end places, but I know what I'm getting at Waffle House - tasty comfort food, affordable prices and the warmest, friendliest people in town. This location is definitely one of the best of those I've visited on my travels. I'm so glad it's near my new workplace!

The restaurant has an old-fashioned, family-casual vibe that feels welcoming right away. Once we were seated, it didn't take long for our server to come by and take our order. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food: we saw someone at the table next to us was literally savoring his burger, eyes closed, taking it all in. We started with their famous honey pepper bacon appetizer, and we all enjoyed it. You can definitely taste the honey and the pepper, and they work really well together. The only thing that would've made it even better for me is if the bacon was crunchier (I'm a crunchy bacon kind of person). The chili soup was also good, just a bit too spicy for my taste. My hubby ordered the Mama's pork chop and loved every bite. I really liked the fried okra that came with it you can tell it was freshly sliced, with just the right amount of breading. The mashed potatoes were good too, nice and creamy, topped with gravy. For drinks, I ordered the fall sangria. It was okay, but the flavor was a little different than what I'm used to. It was almost like it had a splash of spritzer in it. For dessert, we tried the vanilla bean ice cream with honey pepper bacon, and wow, that was surprisingly good. The crunchy bacon with a little spice paired really well with the smooth vanilla ice cream. Our server, Jacob, was great. He was attentive, friendly, and very sociable. All in all, our family had a great time, and we really enjoyed the food that was served.

Go here a lot! I'll start with the vibe, its definitely an Icehouse, TVs with all kinds of sports everywhere and a huge open eating area, there is a stage for live music but it was empty when we went, but it was during the World Cup and Mexico was playing that night so not surprised at all. They have a nice outdoor patio with two pool tables. If you're going expecting a quiet evening for middle age ears, then your expectations need to be changed, this is not a place for grumpy corner booth eaters, this place is alive. The staff, from the moment we walked in it was nothing but smiles from every employee we crossed paths with, which brings us to our waitress T, yes just the initial T, calm down cause she was amazing. She kept our drinks full and never made us feel rushed, she was the perfect balance of attentive but also giving us space. If you get her as your waitress you will not be disappointed. The food, we ordered the fried pickles, the Assembly Smashburger, and a Cubano Sammich. The fried pickles have ruined fried pickles for me from some of my favorite fries pickle places, they are crispy and tart and simply delicious. My wife had the Assembly Smashburger, the only warning about this burger is the juicyness makes it messy, but thats one mess everyone should be ok with. And the Cubano Sammich forget about it, if you like Cubanos this is the place for you!! Give the menu a peep, bwcause it has options that tickle any fancy! In conclusion, if you leave the Asswmbly Icehouse unhappy its because you're a miserable person and nothing in life will ever bring you joy, so just stick with a corner table at McDonald's, eating your Chicken Nuggets and their immortal French fries, leave the happiness for everyone else at the Icehousw.

I ordered the turkey burger along with sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, I was brought regular fries instead, and neither the fries nor the burger really matched my personal taste preferences. That said, food is subjective, and what didn't work for me may be exactly what someone else enjoys. The service was okay overall, and one thing I did appreciate was seeing people genuinely interacting and talking with each other. In a world where everyone is often glued to their phones, it was nice to see a place that seemed to encourage conversation and connection. While my meal wasn't a favorite, I can understand why this place attracts a crowd. I'd still recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself, especially if you're looking for a casual burger spot with a busy, social atmosphere.
