I have driven by this Waffle House so many times and never stopped in. Well on Wednesday night that changed! If you haven't seen the video for Anthony Bourdain's visit to Waffle House google it, it is worth the watch. The video was my inspiration for finally stopping in. "It is indeed marvelous, and irony free zone where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. . . Its warm yellow glow a beacon of hope and salvation." They have stuffed hash browns?! I had no idea! I went for a pecan waffle and hash browns smothered, covered, and chunked. I was not disappointed (I did feel weird ordering them though)! The pecan waffle was tasty and the whole restaurant smelt like waffle baking deliciousness. The prices are also insanely reasonable. I found it interesting that they put the calorie counts next to each menu item. You probably really don't want to know the calorie count when you are at Waffle House, but you can't really avoid it.

We had a pretty good waitress she was friendly and attentive. We came here in Christmas day there wasn't many restaurants own so we decided to eat here. Service was fast. It was freezing we sat next to a window so you could feel the cold air from outside.

I don't normally leave reviews at restaurants but I thought I needed to for this one. I was served raw beef when ordering med-rare. I said something but the waitress seemed bothered so I just dropped it paid and left. The cook was also talking about how their hash brown juice smells like athletes foot and about how little he wanted to be there.

I was very hungry and just needed some quiet time to relax. This place gave me everything I needed. It's huge, clean, well lit, and comfy. The ladies up front were sweet and my waitress was a doll. There when I needed, but not hovering. Even the bathrooms were spotless. It's definitely a breakfast restaurant, although they do have burgers and other sandwiches on the menu. But when it comes to breakfast, they had everything you could possibly think of on the menu. I ended up choosing Big K's Combo and for the price of $11.99 I thought it would be a normal size meal. I was so surprised when an incredible amount of food for the money came out. Everything was delicious. Ordering grits is a bit of a gamble lately but these were the best grits I've had from a restaurant in years. The scrambled eggs were moist and tender, the bacon was crisp, hashbrowns very tasty, and the pancakes were perfect, with those special crispy edges that I just love. This is a fantastic place to go and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an excellent breakfast.

The hostess and cashier both had no personality, but our server was wonderful and attentive. It really did resemble Breakfastime as far as the food, decor, and even the pricing. I paid for my plate and my toddler and it was nearly $30. Which is insane for breakfast for one adult and one toddler. I enjoyed this visit and the food was good, but I won't be rushing back over there anytime soon.

Great big parking lot and plenty of seating and a little patio. Looked like a good meet up lunch or workers eating while we were here. Great menu with so many choices and daily specials. Definitely something for everyone. My friend ordered an iced tea and they refilled happily. I went with the chicken gyro, which essentially is a Souvlaki. Grilled chicken , fresh veggies, tzatziki on a grilled pita. Lots of filling and I got the house made chips . They don't give a side with sandwiches, looks like they are all à la carte. $1.50 wasnt a bad price though. Loved my pita I would only suggest maybe they grill the onions and instead of fresh. Loved the chips as they were dry and not oily . Served with ranch. My friend ordered the walnut chicken salad sandwich. Then realized when she got it it's full of onions which she could not eat. She felt bad for having not asked when she ordered it. Our server was so nice to see if they could trade it out and they did with zero fuss. It making her feel bad. She opted for the cheese burger. Which she loved and came out looking great. Very fresh with all the trimmings in a nice big bun. She said she's definitely get that again. Pay at the counter and I was pleased it wasn't a lunch that cost more than $15. With tip. Great spot and shame on me for but coming here earlier! Definitely added to my lunch rotation.

Cafe Arthur's has a few other great sounding burgers on their menu beyond this smash burger I ordered. I've had the Burger Basket there a few years ago with the onion rings and loved it so of course the onion rings had to be the side again. Ask for the spring mix to be subbed with shedded iceberg for that crunch of lettuce too. Honestly, I'm not here to yuck anyone else's yum but SPRING MIX?? On a burger??? Who does that? Other than that one change the burger was perfect. Loved every bite. It's big though, two 4 oz patties and all the other toppings on a toasted sesame seed bun. I could only eat half of the burger and onion rings so I had a nice to go box I took home and my son finished it for his dinner. Our service was friendly and quick. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. They had a good crowd on a Friday night around 6:30pm. The parking at Cafe Arthur's can be a bit challenging. They have spaces surrounding the building but also share a parking lot with other businesses so you might have to park a little further during peak times but not that far. Go give them a try if you haven't been or if it's been a while.

I have the impression they do Greek food really well but everything else seems mediocre. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was a small portion and lacked flavor. They also initially brought it with brown gravy covering it even though I ordered sausage gravy. Not a big deal, but they told me they had the correct one in the back and would bring it right out. I waited longer than expected for "it's already made," and I'm pretty sure I was lied to and had to wait on a re-fire, which came with the gravy inconspicuously on the side this time, but the service was friendly nonetheless. It was Valentines weekend so we ended up being there while they were quite busy. Still, the wait wasn't terrible, all considered. The French onion soup was delicious, and we were able to get it as a side for only a $2.50 up charge. Worth it! My wife got the turkey meal (not pictured, sorry) and it reminded me exactly of the tom turkey meal I used to get at the diner in NY when I was a growing up! The restaurant is large, bright, and clean though I think it tries to give southern kitchen when really they should probably lean more into the Greek diner vibes. I'll be back to update my review after I've ordered some other options off their menu.
