We order here all the time. The food is decent and they have fast service. They launched an online program where you can order from their website and earn points for coupons. We earned enough points on July 3 and decided to redeem our coupon. A nice lady called and said her manager said there is no 10 dollars off. I explained it was from the loyalty points on their website. After a brief pause I was connected to the manager who stated there is no free 10.00. I said that's what popped up on their site. He then stated there never was. I said you mean discontinued because I have an email about it. Then he said discontinued the program a while ago. I said we just earned the points this month so i couldn't be awhile ago. He said no, and that he told me this several times and wrote it on my receipt. We've never used the points before and I've never spoken to him before. The information is on their website even! I told him to cancel the order and he told me he already did, and that again, he has told me this before. I didn't enter in a code. It popped up when I checked out. My email from tonight even said I earned more points! It doesn't make any sense and I don't appreciate being told we've talked about this when we haven't. The service is impeccable-fast, friendly and accurate. The food is very good. We went there several times while my son was in the hospital and they even recognized me and asked about his recovery. This place was terrible. They were mad that I was a "bit far" as if I set up the delivery area. Then they didn't send the large soup I ordered after two hours. I called and they blacked the delivery person for not picking it up. Like really? And they yelled and cursed at me for something their fault. I have NEVER been talked to like that from a supposed business. Finally I got one person on the phone and said no worries come tomorrow and we will replace your food. Great food. I never ever leave reviews but I saw a lot of mixed reviews from others. I've never ate in the restaurant before so I can't speak to the customer service or ambiance. However I do faithfully order from them on uber eats and their food and it's presentation has always been outstanding. Listen the food is medium good, but if you want a straightforward classic cheeseburger and French fries and a piece of pie at 3 am delivered in 15 minutes and everyone is friendly, you really can't beat Wahi. Seriously...don't bother ordering from here unless you want to be disappointed every.single.time. They do not pay attention to your delivery instructions, always get your order wrong, and then have poor attitudes when you call about your incorrect order. They also have no idea how to properly pack anything for delivery. I'm not sure why I keep ordering from them...but I have pretty much had it. My go to spot to order breakfast and Lunch! Delivery is always fast and food is always fresh and hot! Orders are mostly always accurate.My favorites are their Tuna Salad Panini, The silver dollar pancakes and the 2 egg any style platters! Their homefries can sometimes be a hit or a miss as far as flavor and seasoning which is why I give a 4 star review. The Grilled Chicken club sandwich was amazing! Very flavorful and filling. For a little $ you get an amazing sandwich and mountain of string fries. This place has the makings of a classic New York diner that will serve a mean lunch, pancakes at 4 am after a crazy night, and the egg's that will cure the ensuing hangover. I've been here a couple of times and the food here is your typical diner food with a Dominican twist since this is Washington Heights after all. They offer a typical Dominican breakfast but instead of making it with mangu (mashed plantains) they do it with tostones which I just find unacceptable lol. I typically stick to eating my grill cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries when here and that's pretty good. I wasn't too impressed with their french toast but I'm pretty picky about my breakfast items. The service here is good, although you might need to remind them to bring your check. This is your standard diner, the food is standard and the service was good. The waitress was very nice in substituting the home fries for rice for my 2 eggs and bacon order. The portions were decent sizes, of course too big for me cause I eat like a bird but I did get two breakfasts out of it.
