Food was delicious and fresh but unfortunately there was an error on our takeout order (which we didn't notice until getting back home) and we received pinto beans instead of black beans on two of orders.

Let me just say this has nothing to do with the food this has to do with employees I usually go to Wahoo's after the lunch rush usually after 2:00 then I like to go in there and it's not so crowded and it's just nicer but it seems like the employees here use the slow Time after the lunch rush to not do much I walked in stood in front of the counter and couldn't believe what a ghost town it was there was nobody in the kitchen whatsoever there was nobody of course at the counter so I just stood there quietly to see how long it would take for them to acknowledge I'm standing there and it took long enough where I was pretty shocked and when the girl finally came out from the back I asked what was going on I got really no answer she just proceeded to talk fast and that's what I wanted of course with attitude at that point like I did something wrong so I sat down the food showed up I enjoyed my lunch like I said this is nothing to do with the food the food's always great it's the employees but I wonder if she ever thought what if I was a Wahoo's executive or the franchise owner or whatever do you think if they got the same experience she wouldn't be giving this girl a talking to and the man who was supposed to be in the kitchen makes you think it sucks because I usually have very good experiences when I come eat at Wahoos of course I'm remaining a loyal customer I just wish the employees would see things the way they should seeing they got their 20 dollars a hour.

My correct order faster than I could finish a great local beer!

I've always liked Wahoo's. Let me rephrase... I've always liked Wahoo's of Old Towne Orange. Love the ambiance, outdoor seating, the patio fireplace, the live band on the weekends.... My faves... the Margaritas.... the Citrus Slaw Crispy Fish Tacos and Citrus Slaw Shrimp Tacos! Carnitas Tacos are great too! So while walking around beautiful Old Towne Orange... give Wahoo's a visit! Check out my You Tube Short on Wahoo's @socalweekendwalkarounds https://youtube.com/shorts/yvqTmEp9ptk?feature=share

Mama (Mayumi) has poured so much of herself into this restaurant, from the artwork on the walls to the warm hospitality that makes it feel like you're being welcomed into someone's home. (Oishii Desu "It's Delicious") If it's your first visit, don't skip the Okinawan specialties. The mountain yam dishes, rafute (braised pork belly), Okinawan soba, and an ice-cold Orion beer served in a frosted glass are all part of what makes Habuya so memorable. It's a place to slow down, share plates, and enjoy the experience. I'm genuinely happy to see Habuya getting so much attention on social media because it's well deserved. My only hope is that as more people discover it, they also help preserve what makes it special. This is a small, family-run restaurant, so please be patient during check-in, be kind to the staff, and remember that many guests have been waiting for the opportunity to enjoy the experience as well. Come to appreciate the food, drinks, and Okinawan culture--not just to snap a few photos and leave. One thing to keep in mind is that if you don't drink alcohol or follow a vegan diet, the menu may feel a bit more limited. But if you're open to experiencing authentic Okinawan cuisine, Habuya is truly one of Orange County's hidden gems.

Water Grill is one of our faves and even better since we were served by one of our faves, Vanessa! She made our anniversary extra special! We had the note, rose petals... the works! And as usual, service is sooo good and so was everything that we ordered! The manager also took time to come over, check on us and greet us happy anniversary! The receptionist who sat us also greeted us happy anniversary! For food, I tried a dozen of the Rappahanock oysters. First time trying these oysters and they were so good!! Sweet and with just a bit of briny taste. I first ordered half a dozen, but enjoyed it so much that I added another half a dozen! I also tried a piece of the Hollywood raw oyster. Didn't enjoy it as much as I did the Rappahanock. We also had the Wedge Salad, which is good and refreshing. And as usual, their Ribeye 16oz is soooo good! Hits the spot! It was also our first time trying out Halibut Cheek Fennel and glad that we did! It is so good. It was served over a sauce that we enjoyed. Will most likely be added to our usual orders. Hubby ordered cappuccino and it was so good! He is very critical of his coffee and this one is rated very highly by him! Ambiance as usual is nice, clean, cozy, tastefully decorated. Think dark wood, leather but with rustic feel. Thank you Water Grill and Vanessa for making our anniversary extra special! So glad we booked here for this special occasion!

Papa Fish, the owner of the Crab Cooker, knew me from my days as an employee. He was a very special man to work for. Unfortunately, he is not around to see how times have changed and this place is slowly losing its customers. The product is still the same. The fish is cooked just the way Papa Fish wanted it to be cooked. However, times and demographics have changed. This restaurant is not attractive to younger folks for some reason and it is very sad to me. The question is can The Crab Cooker adapt to the changes in society? I'm thinking of Bear Flag in Newport Beach? Fresh fish served every day and the place is packed from the time they open to when then close? What are they doing differently? The Crab Cooker in Tustin is still great fish cooked the correct way. It is still my favorite seafood place to go. I hope things get better for this place and the customers keep coming.

It's been a while but returning for my third visit with friends. You can smell the aroma of seafood coming from the restaurant about 6 cars away in the general area (e.g., or if you're waiting outside on the bench). Upon entering, you'll find yourself in a "seafood market" aka a display of a variety of raw seafood options and cold precooked soups. There's also a small corner selling some merchandise by the hostess booth. The restaurant is quite big -- seatings are separated by partition front vs back half of the room. Service is decent and nice -- nothing special or standout that I can remember. I am not sure if I'm a fan eating from paper plates and plastic utensils....sort of off, especially trying to "slurp" off a shallow plastic soup made to scoop ice cream not soup. :(( I'm not sure if the prices of the entrées or not, but for a Friday at 6 PM dinner time, the restaurant is only half full. Maybe it's because there's NO FREE bread basket. We had to pay for a sourdough bread basket which was different from most places. I was a bit taken back but rolled with it, no pun (or bun) intended. We ordered scallops skewers and soft shell crab combo which comes with two sides (you chose from 6 different options). The food is delicious so don't get me wrong, but while I was seating I couldn't get over how pricey the entrees are for an average amount of food. Granted I'm not a gluttony but do want my side portions be a bit larger. :)))

It is the perfect spot for a date night out, especially in the summer. We ordered carne crudo, castacan, cochinita pibil, and beignets for dessert. I do wish we got a little variety and picked a different dish instead of getting 2 pork dishes but both the cochnita pibil and castacan were highly recommended by a friend. The beignets and the dipping sauces were delicious . The dough was so fluffy. The service was great and we sat right next to the kitchen. We call them and give them a heads up and wondered if there was still availability. Melody was pretty transparent and said that there is a different menu between two and five ---a more limited menu. She asked if there was anyway we could get there before 2 o'clock. Long story short, she was super gracious and told the cooks that we would get there a little after two and they would make us something from the lunch menu. Isa was our waitress, and she was phenomenal! Great sense of humor, very transparent about the different menu items. I got a copal and it was fantastic! Smoky and spicy, but not too spicy. We started our late lunch with Caesar salad, Sopa Limon, Seabreem fish dish. We also got the cubano. We were so stuffed by the end of it, but everything was phenomenal. The Caesar salad was a great way to start the meal, but after a couple of bites of it once we had the other dishes, it didn't stand out as much. We probably would've ordered the same thing all over again, with the exception of the Caesar salad (although it was still good!) Sopa Limon had a very unique bone broth flavor. It was a little sweet. So amazing. Seabreem dish - the vegetables played an important part in the flavors! The fries and the aïoli for the Cubano was amazing. The Cubano was excellent, but was a big serving. We sat outdoors, but if I had to have my choice, I would prefer indoors because the ambience indoors is similar to a resort. It reminds us of a place up in the Bay Area called Luna in Campbell. Except the food here is slightly better :). Will definitely return!
