This is an excellent Wahoo's restaurant! Food was hot, fresh and delish!! The service was great - friendly and everyone was smiling I had the two taco fish with all rice because it's my favorite!! Everyone had something different: protein bowl, Maui steak bowl and the quesadillas. Everyone loved their meal and since they were visitors from Texas they didn't quite know what to make if the menu!! We were all in a food coma after so I suppose that's a good thing I can't speak to parking because we were already walking on PCH when I suggested Wahoo's. This location could use a deep clean: floors, handrails, tables and chairs but it's a beach vibe so they get a lot of people walking in with sand in their feet so I imagine it's hard to keep up with. Our first time visiting and had several wonderful taste surprises. Wife and I each ordered a fish taco her's a Crispy Fish Taco and o had Citrus Slaw taco with salmon. What delightful flavors! Each had a generous amount of fish and salad with a creamy sauce. We both added sauces from there generous open salsa bar. In addition we split a Al Pastor Burrito generous in size and taste. We would recommend Yahoo's for a irs food and reasonable prices. read more

A table near me complained that their tortilla soup was missing tortillas. Another's chicken taco wasn't spicy as ordered. Clean tables with no smell. Good service otherwise but the take out boxes don't close. I loved the vegetables. I ordered brown rice but they put white rice in my burrito. I'd go back. It felt healthy to eat here even though a Banzai burrito can feed two. Our server checked in a couple of times to find out if we needed anything else. Seating outside can feel cold around noon. People who arrived after us got their order first though. The Pepsi is watered down. They also use the phone-in order register as a regular line. Those combo meals with beans and rice can probably be shared between three people. When I walked to the corner afterwards there was a barefoot surfer crossing the street with this board. You only see a couple of inches of ocean from the patio because of the houses in the way but there is a back stairway exit about a block away from beach access. read more

We have eaten at other Wahoos in Orange County and have been happy with the quality of the food. We were in Laguna Beach and felt confident that the food quality would be the same as the other Wahoos but were disappointed- my husband ordered a burrito but 3/4 of the burrito was filled with white rice with very little fish. I ordered two grilled fish tacos and had more shredded cabbage with minimal fish. We won't return here. read more

The fish was beyond dead, there was little cheese and no salsa..... the taco taste like cardboard.... I have been going to Wahoos's for years and I'm SO DISAPPOINTED with the Laguna Beach location. I've gone twice in the past week and both times the corn tortillas were hard and cold along with the fish being so dry and the rice also felt like it just got out of the fridge. I decided to send my food back today as I couldn't even eat it. It took them 20+ minutes to get my meal and by the time I got it everyone with me was done. I had to take it to go. I'm so disappointed as I loved Wahoos's but don't want to waste my money there anymore. Just bummed. read more

My favorite Wahoo's location. Great views of the Pacific Ocean and fun vibe. It can get really busy in the summer months and other high seasons and parkig can be challenging, but mid week or in the winter this is a great spot to enjoy Laguna Beach. My favorite is the Wahoo Fish Bowl with tons if their yummy salsa and their onion rings are greasy but damn good too. read more

While growing up in Orange County I used to spend alot of time on the beach with family and friends. I especially enjoyed hanging around Laguna Beach. While on a recent visit I wanted to share this great beach town with Niki since she had never been before. I planned to make a stop by the Pacific Marine Mammal Center. Where we could get a up close look at seals that have been rescued and undergoing rehabilitation. It is a great educational experience and someone was there to answer questions. I have a really funny video of a young seal making all sorts of strange noises at me. Seriously I almost peed my pants it was so funny. So after our visit with the seals we were very hungry so we made our way to PCH and right to Wahoos. Now Niki and I are big fish taco fans and I was determined to introduce Niki to what I believe to be the best fish tacos outside Baha. So when we get there we got parked and in we went. We ordered the fish tacos with rice and beans. We didn't have to wait long for our order. By the time we got our drinks we had our tacos and were heading for a table. Now I like my tacos spicy so I put hot sauce in mine with a squeeze of lime. Niki likes hers just with lime. They are just so tasty and what I like best is the crunch you get from the fresh thinly cut cabbage. The ingredients are not overloaded like many other places. Just the right stuff and non of it takes away from the fresh taste of the fish. Niki really liked them alot and wants to visit again. So when in Laguna in the afternoon and you get that craving head over to Wahoos and get a bite o fish taco. It has my stamp of approval. read more

I've seen Wahoo's Fish Tacos pretty much everywhere so I finally decided to give in to my curiosity and stop by to try their fish tacos. First off, I just want to say that they have a really friendly staff. This is definitely a more laid back, surfer type of environment and the people working seem like just really down to earth, chill people. My boyfriend and I weren't that hungry so we went for one of the combos: two fish tacos + rice (brown or white) + beans (black or white) for $7. Now that's cheap! However, when I took my first bite into the fish taco I was so disappointed at how dry and bland the fish was. It tasted almost frozen to me. The beans were tasty though with a little spicy kick to it, just a slight one. I guess after hearing about Wahoo's, I thought their fish tacos would've ended up tasting better. Maybe if they added a sauce to their tacos it wouldn't have been so dry? Or maybe my perception of what is a good fish taco has been skewed by the fact that I've been surrounded by delicious and fresh fish tacos after living in San Diego for the last 4 yrs, the land of fresh seafood & great Mexican food.
