Went to Walmart this morning, around 8:50-9am looking for some makeup wipes and other stuff. I encountered a Walmart employee who was like "mam you have to follow the lines" hence I was going in to a red arrow and the lady next to me was coming out of a green arrow. If you're not gonna say something to everyone just don't be rude. Didn't know Walmart has an Arrow police now. I guess it's a new position. This guy was gonna have me arrested...almost. This is why Walmart will always have a reputation for bad customer service! The people they hire have no manners and a bad attitude. Jujuju was helping me today at the self check out and every question I asked was just a "nah..no" with no real explanation as if so I finally asked to speak to a manager. She was like, "they're going to tell you the same thing" and I had to finally respond, "i don't care, i'd rather hear it from someone else". I spoke to Tim who was the manager. He at least apologized that it was a recall item, but even as I was trying to get more information, she kept interrupting with her two cents. I finally told her, "Ma'am, I'm done talking to you. I'm speaking with your manager, please stop". Then l had to turn to him and tell him that I'm appalled by her lack of customer service and bad attitude. She still grumbled, "I don't got no bad attitude. She just didn't like that I told her I couldn't sell it"....some people just don't get it! I went in to Walmart today for a few things and they didn't have any hand baskets, only carts so I asked someone up front about it and she told me kind of aggressively that all of them had been stolen. So I grabbed a cart and navigated the store and when I was checking out I was making small talk with the cashier about there being no hand baskets and she told me that people stole them and THEY WILL NOT BE ORDERING MORE. Both people seemed very aggressive about the situation. I mean it's Walmart, get some more hand baskets. People steal carts too. Are they going to get rid of the carts too? I guess it wouldn't have bothered me if the people I came in contact with were nice or at the very least a little less hostile. read more

We rarely come to Walmart but whenever we do I am reminded of why we avoid it at all costs. They consistently exhibit a terrible shopping experience, and an even worse customer service experience. We came today to return a few things we got for presents and there were about 20-30 people in the return line, which stretched across a walkway and to the entrance. They of course only had 1 employee working the return line. Meanwhile there were at least 4 cashiers working the purchase lines, which were mostly empty. Absolutely the worst managers or coaches as they call them this morning. I need formula and usually have to wait a bit, but the employees are always nice and apologize for the wait. Not the 3 managers on duty at 730am this morning. I walked to the aisle and was looking at them, and they were blind to me. Finally, some lady got a different lady to get the keys. Again both of them were very nice. I absolutely love Arlon, (hope I spelled it right), at the front of the store as he is always friendly and totally knows his regulars. Managers this morning were absolutely blind to me, then had the nerve to greet me as the 3 of them walked by. No one answers customer service extension in HB or Westminster. Nobody should have to drive to store and park only to find out store does not have merchandise sought. For Walmart this is a blast to the past. This location doesn't feature all the groceries that Walmart stocks these days. The limited groceries are also located in the middle of the store which is just awkward. The checkers seem to think its ok to have a chip on their shoulder. For a Huntington Beach location that doesn't offer plastic bags they could sell better paper ones. The paper bags they do offer at the typical $0.10 are cheap and have not handles. It makes it impossible to carry more than two bags in at a time. Also they don't have very much without busting through the bottom. They are currently doing some sort of renovation in the parking lot which now makes parking even more difficult than before. Hopefully things are going to be looking better for the future because I miss going to Walmart since moving to HB. Very disappointing. read more

I decide to bus it to this Walmart to finish up the last of my Christmas shopping. I get everything I need and go to the register. As I'm paying I tell the cashier I need one bag. She replies " we don't have any bags, we ran out 2 days ago" first off how do you run out of bags and how is it that 2 days later you still don't have any???? They didn't have any reusable bags either. She suggested I purchase a decorative Christmas bag! Oh did I mention I took a bus there? Ordered online for pickup and when we got to store called Express pickup # for curbside & was told they don't do that. So then they said you have to go in the store-which was what we were trying to avoid!! Plus they put they "pickup desk all the way at the back of the store so you have to walk alll the way thru the entire length of the store!!!!!! At the only entrance open they are not enforcing 6 ft distance or masks, so that was also just great!! Today I saw a lot of positivity with everything that has been going on. I'm 9 months pregnant and needed help getting a crib and lots of workers were so kind to assist me. One of the ladies even asked me if I had gotten enough baby wipes and pampers for my baby because they were running out of them like wildfire. It was very thoughtful that she cared enough to ask. Mostly it was Kevin who helped me out. He brought the crib out to my car and tried multiple times to rearrange the crib so it'd fit in my small car. Hadn't thought that one threw. I tried to offer him a tip and he declined it saying it's what he's here for. It's people like Kevin that brighten up the day in times like these. Thank you to all those who helped me. read more

I've been to this Walmart several times in the past and have witnessed the homeless population living in the parking lot so I was feeling some anxiety's when me & hubby had to bring back the crockpot we just bought yesterday at the Irvine store because it haha dent in the side, as we were walking in the store this morning at 7:00 when they opened there was a guy ahead of us with filthy jeans on dirty shirt and barefooted walking really fast I Assumed he was heading to the restroom. We got in line but there was no employee working the CS Desk, along with 2 other guest editing for service after about 15 minutes someone showed up with there cash Drawer. She was very nice And polite and credited back to my card me & hubby needed to go back and look at there in stock crockpots that when our Angel arrived her name is Karolina, she said she would walk with us go find another one she scanned the scu and found the store had 3 more she helped us open it up and check it out before purchasing it. So far everything looks great I will update this yelp if it turns out we got another dud. I waited for 20 mins on hold, just for the same girl to ask, "what are you on hold for?" I politely repeated what I was asking for again. Just went to Walmart and was treated like a second class citizen. I mistakenly went in the 10 or less item line. I had thirteen small items and two cards. The cashier was quick to throw me out of line and treated me like I was ignorant. I highly recommend she attend customer care classes. It was 8:30 a.m and the store was not too busy. Can't keep your customers with that attitude. I have never been treated like that at Target, Lowe's or Costco. read more

Had to do a quick run in to get some baby wipes and was very pleasantly surprised with this location. From the solar panel covered parking lot to the very clean, inviting inside. Maybe it's because I was there early, but the location wasn't packed like others I've been too and I was able to quickly get in, find what I needed, checkout and get on with my day. The people in electronic department in my opinion are rude and unhelpful. Went there just to ask if they have Nintendo switch in stock or if they are going to arrive anytime soon, in short all I wanted is for them to scan the label that's all. The associate was giving me a hard time saying we don't have them, look for yourself, not here. Then I told her I understand but can you at least scan the label to see when is the next shipment. Then she kept repeating the same thing until she finally scanned the label and it actually said some will arrive next week. All she had to do is scanned the label that's all I wanted, but instead she had to give me bad customer service. Horrible customer service. Ordered an item online to be shipped to the store. The item arrived at the store. I had just had an emergency surgery on my stomach... I called and asked them to please hold the item for a week due to my physical lifting limitations. They agreed. I drove twenty minutes to get to the store four days later on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Waited almost an hour in line with numerous furious customers - all angry due to their two pickup employees moving at the speed of an turtle. After the wait... I find out they have refunded my money, and packed the item to be sent back to the online store warehouse. They had sent no online notice, and flat out refused to sell the item to me. I'm giving them one star due to their lack of competent employee training. I will never shop at Walmart again. read more

I purchased a bicycle for my 4 year old daughter. It was delivered dirty. "I'm sorry but the bicycles are stored outside." How about you run a cloth over it before delivery. I found an employee because I couldn't find the girls size 6 shoes and I found PJs in the wrong size. The employee said that the companyPJs "were down this isle in a room on your right and then you can ask someone else for help with the shoes." This is a review for Wallmart.com online store. I purchased three items in order to get free shipping at over $35. My total was $123. Two items were shipped. The third item wasn't shipped with no communication from Wallmart for a week. Then Wallmart notifies me they can't get the item and they are canceling my order. First time ever that I have had an online retailer cancel my order. In my world you cannot take an order unless you have inventory or inventory commitment. Then you can accept an order and allocate it to a customer. Not these guys. They took an order then try to scrounge the part up. When they can't they just go Tough luck customer we are cancelling your order. Their customer service just sends a sorry email. When they send a survey out since the survey response is negative it suddenly errors and kicks you off. Not kidding, it happened twice to me. Plain and simple Wallmart just doesn't care. eBay or Amazon get it in regards to customer satisfaction, Wallmart doesn't. read more

I ordered a bike to ship to store, at the Huntington Beach CA Walmart location. I chose that location because they said it was the one location in my area that could have it ready that day. I am not close to this store location and only chose it for that reason. I was told the bike would be ready by 7:10pm latest. I arrived at the store around 9pm, and was told that I could not pick up the bike because "all those bikes were broken, and there's one that's on display we can't give out." When I asked what to do now I was told "I don't know, this is Walmart there are plenty of other bikes in the store" like I was dumb and needed to just open my eyes. I wanted to bring this to someone's attention if anyone is out there reading this because I felt it was ridiculous that no one contacted me throughout the day. I ordered the bike at 3pm, and when the man at the pick up counter was defending himself to his manager he told him he knew around 3pm he couldn't complete this order and put it in the internal system as nil. Why from 3:00pm-9:00pm was I never contacted and told we will not be able to process your order? Don't make the drive out to Huntington Beach and come out of your way? I am convinced that if I had not shown up, no one would have said anything and my credit card would have been charged as pending until I did show up. Then when I asked why I wasn't contacted, the man at the pick up counter had no explanation for me, and the manager told me "I don't know go find another bike". No one could even give me a 100% confirmation that the money would be credited to my credit card. All I wanted was my bike, but if I have to go through a hassle like this, even for a ship to store order it seems like more trouble than it is worth.
