I ordered a product online for in store pickup over a month ago today. Since it went past the estimated arrival time, I called the store on two separate occasions and was told the product was not in and to continue waiting. Today I received a notice that it is being returned for non pickup - are you kidding me?!?! I have been waiting since April 19th. Rebecca, the manager who I spoke with at the store, told me that this happens (not the first time- I guess this tends to happen), it was probably sold to someone else, and I now have to reorder the product- that's it. No apology for being misled the last two times I called or offer to help. That was her pretty dry and uncaring response. First and last time shopping with this store or online with them. They are too big to care about their individual customers. I made a mistake while in quarantine and will now support the small businesses that are currently open again, need our help, and who care about their customers- so should all of us. read more

I ran into a very rude associate. My son kicked something over and as I was reprimanding him Cindy (the associate) came over in the middle of me talking to him and made him pick it up which would have been fine if I wasn't in the middle of talking to him. I told her how rude she was for interrupting and she could have waited till I was done. She then told me she was helping in a very snooty attitude and I again told her that's fine if I wasn't talking to him. She then started to walk away and said "you're probably the reason he acts this way" and when I asked for her name she wouldn't give it to me, I had to walk over to her unlocking the formula cabinet for someone else to see it. So so so so rude and unprofessional but I guess you get what you pay for when you shop at Walmart. read more

This is probably the worst store you can go to in terms of customer service. It is considered a training store so employees can learn the right way to interact with the public and merchandise. As such, it is stocked with idiots who have no competency to exercise their own judgement. To make matters worse, they are handcuffed by walmart policies which f*** the consumer. In an age when people are well conditioned automatons trained to obey when security is offered as reason for a policy. The existence of any corporation is ultimately at odds with the existence of humanity (if for no other reason than it costs money to maintain an environment that is not toxic to our existence). While I have been writing this LoAnn and some lady in a wheelchair were harassing a black couple on the self-checkout for no aparent reason other than their skin color. The couple was very polite, too. They waited patiently behind me until I told them I was not in line. I am simply writing about not being able cash a check written to me for my birthday, bc I have an out of state ID. I would have never guessed another customer service issue would have happened so quickly. Meanwhile, while the black customers were being harassed, I watched white customers walk out with merchandise twice. I feel like more s**** is gonna go down, but I have been here for 30minutes now and I only stayed because as soon as i leave i wont take the time to write a review. Anyway, I will not be returning to Walmart ever again (unless absolutely necessary). Walmart SuperCenter has been my favorite go-to store first for anything. But they don't give a f*** about that. They don't give a f*** about anything except that I consume through them in the manner THEY determine. I'm not with that. I see myself being increasingly cut off from society bc i resist becoming an mindless zombie as it is intended. Nothing could represent that better than my interactions with Walmart. I believe no one in Bentonville cares what happens in their stores. As long as the daily reports continue to fall within acceptable levels. But they will notice if one store gets a zero sales day and I hope that every store gets a zero sales day everyday so the shares become good for nothing but toilet paper. and anyone who invests in this disease gets papercuts when they wipe with those now worthless shares so they can feel a similar pain in their a$$ as their organization has become in mine. But as i am leaving the premises of this cold, racist, behemoth that dots the globe like so many cancerous tumors, I still have to marvel at how a half gallon of chocolate milk costs $1.53. Is that half gallon of milk at that price more valuable than my self respect and sense of self-worth? God, I hope not! read more

Not that this Walmart was ever a great place to shop but now they stop you on your way out to check your bag and scan your receipt. I had three items in a brand new Walmart bag I bought at the register. The guy at the door stopped me, looked through my bag and asked for my receipt. I had to take my wallet out of my purse to be able to produce my receipt for inspection. Ridiculous! I won't be shopping there again. read more

Bought a 7 year car battery at this Walmart and after 3 years the battery went bad. Returned the battery and a faded receipt to the store for a replacement and the clerk wouldn't accept it because the receipt had faded. She wouldn't even look it up on the system to verify the purchase. Went to another Walmart, where they didn't even need the receipt, and they verified the purchase and date by scanning the serial number. They immediately pro-rated the battery and took care of the replacement. I won't return to HB Walmart store again. Poor customer service. read more

Yesterday we called and spoke to someone on the phone to return a large wedding gift that doesn't fit our small apartment. The person on the phone said it was fine and to go ahead and bring it in. When we got there we were told there was nothing they can do for us. Then we were basically called liars when we mentioned we called before we came in. Infuriating. read more

Shameful customer service! I was at the walmart in Huntington Beach, CA. First let me say that the security is terrible at this site; far too many questionable individuals and transients loitering and roaming about and the staff do nothing about them. I rode my bike to the store and locked it up, carrying my backpack inside because I didn't trust leaving it outside even if I did lock it up. I was told by the staff that I couldn't take it into the store with me, so I asked if I could leave it inside by the returns area. They said no, that I would have to find another place for it. I was appalled by this, considering places like Target, Office Depot, and Ralph's offer an alternative other than leaving your possessions outside. I should have left, but there were things I needed that day, so I locked up my backpack as best as I could. I come out twenty minutes later and it's gone, along with my book, bike tools, and some other miscellaneous items. I go back into the store and tell the staff, who respond with indifference that I need to call the corporate office about the incident. They don't ask me to stay and fill out any paperwork or offer to call police, or even ask me for details. In the end they did absolutely nothing for me, which cost me $120 in loss. I will never shop at this store, or any walmart, again. read more

So I went in to this store today around Noon looking for an action figure that was just released. I found two of the figures in the set, but not the one I wanted. I looked around for an employee to help me try to locate the figure, but could not find anyone. I finally went to the Sporting Goods department and asked the employee there, if she could call someone over from Toys to help me find the figure. She just replied, "whatever is there is all we've got." and walked away. I went back to the Toy department and saw two female employees working on Go-Backs. I asked one of them for help and was told, "that's all we've got." As I was walking away from the two employees, I heard them giggling and speaking in a foreign language. VERY unprofessional! I left disappointed and hurt. Will never be coming back here again. read more

Terrible place, dirty, I try to avoid at all costs. I went in to buy a bike tire, the bike parts are now in a locked case, you have to wait for an attendant to come over. Then I have to wait for them to bring it to the cash register, only they didn't tell me where they were going, the attendant just took off. AND SO DID I, I left my car full of stuff too because I'm not waiting 30 min in line because you can't properly staff your registers. I ended up going to a bike shop and was in and out in 5 min. Going here is a waste of time. I will not be back. Just will buy on target or Amazon, hell even 2 day shipping delivers faster than going to this place. WASTE OF TIME. read more

I standing right here in sporting goods, and Mark has been yammering in his cell phone for the past 5 minutes while I'm second line, right in front of Mark. In fact, I just ask him for his name so I could right this. The guy who's first in line is checking with other stores in the area while he waits for this guy to get off the phone. Mark hasn't even acknowledged our presence by saying, "I'll be with you in a second" or anything. Mark finally got off the phone to say he was the key-machine maintenance guy. He DID say that Kevin is supposed to be the Sporting goods rep, but no one can find Kevin either. Yes, I've pushed the "Need assistance button" many times. No help. The other guy even got an associate to get another person with a key to the cabinet. That was quite awhile ago. Hans finally came over and told us a manager was on their way because no one can find Kevin. Let's hope he alright. read more

This isnt my first bad experience or even my second. This us the worst walmart I've been to ever. The customer service sucks. This morning we went into to get fishing licenses.... it took 45 MINUTES to finally get someone who could help us. We were lied to by the customer service manager who said someone would be right out while the the associate in the same breathe said we have to wait until the person running the department was off break..... so... we waited.... not until another 20 or so minutes later did we finally get some help. I wasn't the only frustrated customer this morning we had a crowd waiting and think that it shouldnt take this long especially when the store isnt super crowded. This store is 5 mintues from my house but I think I will driver further to another walmart so they will help me and take my money. read more

I stop by this AM to pick up some dog food, and other home essentials and it seems that the Walmart has improved significantly since the last time was I here. The aisles are wide and clean, the products are more organized and neat, and I had no trouble finding what I was looking for. The staff were friendly, and very helpful in finding my items and checkout was quick and efficient. Ive avoided Walmart in the past for all the reasons everyone has commented on the past. I must say, that the new WALMART is significantly improved and a much better shopping experience. Add that to the low cost items, and Ill be shopping there more. Thanks for reading! Update 12/25/09 I shopped for last minute items at Walmart and everyone during this holiday season was helpful and generally fantastic! Gift wrap, last minute food items, last minute gifts, and even a xmas tree were readily at hand and convenient to purchase. Surprisingly, no major lines or congestion, I think it maybe the economy but everything just went so smooth here. The convenience and now the ease of shopping has moved Walmart up a notch to compete with the likes of Target and Kohls. We had a wonderful Christmas season this year. I watched the huge asset recovery manager Charles intimidate and verbally abuse a senior elderly man who was just there to make a return. The asset recovery manager used his "authority" and lack of command for the English language to verbally abuse him. I stepped in and so did another Walmart customer to get a manager and report Charles' abuse. During the reporting to the on duty manager Charles stood there laughing with another Walmart employee. It was shameful behavior. The fowl language and remarks that came out of Charles was embarrassing and totally unprofessional. Walmart is using millions of consumer dollars like an interest free loan. Has anyone else had trouble returning items to Walmart. I have some sunglasses and other items that still have the tags on them and I have the receipts but Walmart says, because of the virus, they can't take anything back "that has touched someone's body" at this time and they don't know and don't care when this rule will be over. When you go in or call they have no answer. Even CVS will take back things like cosmetics and masks, If enough people get together to complain then maybe consumers can get their money back. Too bad there is no option for zero stars. Ventured out in the rain to the WORST place on earth, Wal-Mart, to exchange some diapers for a bigger size. After the worst customer service experience ever, the employee refused to exchange them, claiming they don't carry them - despite the fact that they have an actual Wal-Mart sticker on the front. The employee told me they must be from a different Wal-Mart. I asked if she could find out which one, and she told me I would have to drive around until I found the right Wal-Mart. SERIOUSLY?! I've always disliked Walmart, but this one by FAR takes the cake. Normally, my very few adventures turn out to be quite disappointing but the experience I had here around December has made me completely stop going to Walmart all together. On Black Friday, I had purchased an iPad mini for my mother as an early Christmas gift. My mother changed her mind and wanted an iPad Air instead, so I decided to go and exchange it for her. So I go into Walmart and head over to the electronics department. I swear it takes like 10-15 minutes just to flag down an employee, even though there are like HUNDREDS of them roaming around aimlessly. I swear, some of their staff are just wandering around like they have no idea what they're doing. Please train your damn staff Walmart. So I find a person to look for an iPad Air for me, and she's some lady, who seems trying to be funny and start a conversation, but her conversation is more of a pathetic attempt to kind of complain about the crappy things that she has to do at work. So she's unlocking the compartment holding the iPads and iPods and she's still yammering on, NOT paying attention to what she's doing. She's complaining people can't stack things up right and etc... Then proceeds to drop a bunch of iPods and iPads on the ground... And is like "See, these people don't know what they're doing!" And all I can do is stare at her in sheer disbelief. She picks up the things she's dropped and tries to find the exact iPad I want, shuffling around going "this one?", "what about this one" and I have to help her find it because apparently she couldn't get it right herself... So after another 20 minutes of trying to find it, I tell her to hold it for me so I can go return the iPad mini to purchase the Air. It wasn't my first rodeo at Walmart. I know how the return lines are, especially during the holiday, so I was already prepared to wait. I had to wait almost 40 minutes to return my item because only one person was working in Returns. Let's break down THAT horror story as well. So one lady was returning her shopping cart full of things and there was 3-4 people behind her, one including me. Everyone is wondering where the rest of the employees are because it is the holiday time.. So we wait and wait, to the point that the lady in front of me is calling the General Manager's number listed on the board in the Returns area to complain about the wait and how only one person is working. So we wait.. And wait.. And wait some more. Until FINALLY a little old Asian lady decides to hop on the register to help out. The line moves a bit fast and then it's finally my turn. YAY! Right? Wrong. So I proceed to tell the lady that I needed to return my item, and she thinks I want to exchange it. I correct her and tell her "I'm sorry but I'm returning my item" and she act like she doesn't hear me and says that I want to exchange it again. So I raise my voice a bit this time and say "I'm sorry ma'am but I'm here to return not exchange my item." Which leads her to whip her head around and rudely yells "OK I GOT IT" and then she turned her head over to the other register and tells her coworker "I'm leaving, you help ok?" And just ups and leaves in the middle of helping me. By this time, I'm shocked and now furious that she has just completely walked away, didn't even tell me anything and pushes my things aside and leaves. I cannot believe this woman. I am one of your customers, the customers that pay YOUR paychecks, and you've up and left with not even ONE word. I swear, if I knew where she had gone, I'd give her a piece of my mind but now she's nowhere in sight. So I get my item returned, which was done incorrectly the first time, but was finally returned back to me and I head back to electronics to purchase my iPad Air. I get to electronics and it takes me another 10-15 minutes to flag down another employee and tell him I want to pay for my iPad that I have on hold. So he rings it up, and tells me it's going to be $500. Walmart price matches, so I showed him the price on the Walmart webpage, and says it state that it's only $400 online and that was the price I was expecting to pay. This employee blatantly tells me it's not the same iPad. By this point, I'm pretty pissed, and I tell him, there cannot be another different iPad Air considering Walmart only sells iPad Air 1 and iPad Air 2s and I never knew Apple made 2 different versions of the 32GB White iPad Air. But he sticks with his word, so I have him page a manager. The manager confirms that I am indeed correct and gives me my iPad for $400. This process took another 20-30 minutes. I had literally spent 2 HOURS of my life trying to go through staff after staff at Walmart. I cannot stand this place. I will not be coming back. Not only do your employees not know SHIT, you guys treat customers like shit as well. I will permanently take my business elsewhere. GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE. read more

i usually go to this Walmart in HB only because its close to my house, and ALOT cleaner than the other Walmarts.. however this time, i experienced a RUDE Cashier named BARBARA! i went to purchase my 2 items, and went to slide my ATM debit card.. it wasn't working for some weird reason so i tried it as credit.. that didn't work either.. im thinking to myself i just got this card a few weeks ago and i definitely have $ in my account.. however BARBARA seemingly impatient with the evergrowing lines, was being fussy with me and tried my card herself... she asked for a different card but it was my ATM card n i wanted to get cash back and i didn't have any credit cards on me.... she then goes "ugh, i dont have time for this.. your card is not working" takes the items back.. and left me just standing there.... being in customer service for almost 10 years.. i was thinking to myself.. did she just leave me hanging? so i asked her "um is there an ATM machine?" maybe i can pull $ out.. she then pointed me the way to customer service.. i was able to pull out $100 of course.. went back in line to BARBARA.. and told her.. "see, it wasn't my card afterall" and BARBARA goes.. well i never had a problem before.. so i told her "have it ever occured to you maybe the Machine couldn't read my card and that it wasn't my card.. and told her she didn't have to make that RUDE Comment! she replied "i wasn't being rude." i told her.. excuse me?! telling a customer "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS..." IS RUDE!!! seriously.. she could have offered a solution.. make every customer valued.. yes there is a line growing which walmart doesn't have lines, it wasn't my problem she could of redirected the customers and apologized it was taking longer than expected. knowingly i had an ATM card she could been PROACTIVE and TOLD me there was an ATM machine in-store.. not wait for the customer to ASK! in the end.. she NEVER apologized. i was about to go to the manager but decided not to.. but being the last point of contact in the store, she could of done a better job at her customer service skills and save those rude remarks for some other place and time... i rather go to TARGET where they at least have better customer service personnels! read more

Terrible customer service!!!! I was looking for a few different items and had no idea where to look, so I picked a department where I thought one was- a seat that spins for the car (to make it easier for my mom to get out of the car). I found someone and they gave me a funny look and told me what aisle that thought it would be under....it wasn't, so i tried the pharmacy to see if it would be in a section there..like a type of elder car aisle. The pharmacist told me to try an aisle, but he didn't know if they actually carried that item or not. No luck on that item, so I tried the electronic section for new land phones for my mom. I couldn't find a free sales associate to help me choose a brand or if I should buy a 3 pack of phones or separates phone so I went to search for a product that converts VHS tapes into DVD's instead..no luck there either. So I got in a little crowd waiting to speak with the sales associate. I asked about phone advice and she didn't really know anything about the phones so I went with a 2 pack and a single. I went to ask about the VHS converter, and she leaves me mid sentence to go help someone else. I follow and wait for her to finish, and then ask my question. She told me to wait right there while she went to ask another associate. Well I gave her 10 minutes and she must have slipped by because I saw her in another section helping out another crowd of people. So I waited about 15 minutes more, and she finally got back to me and asked if I had any questions...I said, "Nope..just the same one I asked you 25 minutes ago." She gave a nervous smile and again said, "Let me go ask another associate." Well she got back to me and said that she didn't think they carried it. Well...thanks for offering to call another store or look online. I gave up and went to check out when the cashier tells me that the single phone wouldn't work with the 2 pack and it would be best to just buy the 3 pack. FINALLY. Thank god for someone that can answer a question. I only wasted about 40-50 minutes of my time in this store and only was able to get 1 of the 3 items I needed. Totally worth it. read more
