So I almost lost my faith in retail until I walked in here, all I wanted was a shower head. Door greeter directed me to the back, when I got the back Regina helped find exactly what I was looking for. At was only $4, not a bad deal then when I was heading to the register she asked if I found the right one. I was very impressed. To make matters better she asked if I was buying anything else and I said no so she suggested i got to one of the other department registers where there is no waiting as long as you have 8 items or less so I was in and out in 10 minutes! seriously, is it a requirement to be a rude moron in order to work here?? every time I try to get any help from this place over the phone i get put on hold for 20 minutes or hung up on, or told to call back later. I lost a sweater in the fitting rooms 5 minutes before they closed last night and they couldn't help me when i called back 10 minutes later because "the fitting room key was found by a little kid and the girl didn't close down right. call back at 7 a.m." I woke up specifically to call back at 7 a.m. and got put on indefinite hold, then got hung up on, then got told it wasn't there yet and to call back later. WHY WOULD I CALL BACK LATER TO SEE IF SOMEONE PUT MY SWEATER *BACK* IN THE FITTING ROOMS??? i asked to speak to a manager and i was hung up on. The girl i spoke to was a complete idiot. I've been sitting now having called the fourth time and its been ringing for 5 minutes. Even in-store, nobody knows where anything is and nobody wants to talk to you. This is not the first time this happened, last time i tried to inquire about the availability of a product over the phone i took an hour of my time and got no answers. I Finally just got a hold of the manager, Christie, who was rude and cut me off and made it sound like a big hassle to help me. If I could I would stand in front of this store with a sign. This Walmart parking lot is always filled with RVs and people hanging around begging for money who look high as can be. It's my hometown Walmart and I don't feel safe at all. From now on I'll be taking my business to target. read more

This Walmart is located off of Beach Blvd in the city of HB. Just your typical Walmart center like anywhere else. They do have a garden center. Interestingly they do have some covered parking here in their parking lot. I haven't seen this at any other Walmart so far. read more

Calling this a super center might be a stretch. This Walmart is definitely on the smaller side compared to newer stores and lacks a significant grocery section. Like most Walmart, you can get the basic items you're looking for but don't expect anything special. The store was fairly clean and the cashiers were friendly but there weren't enough registers open. There are better options in the area and it's worth driving a little further for a larger store. read more

Went to this walmart to buy a pellet gun advertised on web site 109.99 and they wanted me to pay 139.97. Told them its advertised 109.99 and they refused to make sale. I bought the WarCraft 3 battle chest here. When I got home both of the games had been already stolen out of the packaging. I took it back to customer service and they said they could not return it, so I asked to speak to the store manager. He basically called me a liar and said that I had stole the games, and was trying to rip him off, with out saying that exactly. So I came back in here multiple times complaining getting the same result. I ended up calling his district manager who told me to go to cash register # 2 and I would get a full refund at the store I originally purchased the games at. When I get to window number 2 the woman doing the return took my I.D. and dissapeared with it. Ten minutes later she shows back up with the manager who Looks at me and smiles and says no. Now keep in mind I'm currently majoring in E.M.T. At Orange Coast College, I'm 19. And I barely work because of my busy school schedule. The Store Manager of this store fucked with me as hard he could. It was seriously messed up. After a couple weeks went by someone in corporate called me and told me I would have to drive out to the city of Orange to Get a new copy of this game. This was a total pain and completely not my fault. I personally will Never shop at this Walmart again. If i could give an award for biggest douche bag of the year. I used to go to this Walmart because my mom worked there, however now that she is retired I rarely if ever go because the selection is terrible for most things, the isles are very difficult to navigate because they are too narrow and they always have extra stuff in the middle of the isles you have to work around. Employees are treated terribly which reflects in terrible customer service. The only redeeming thing about this store is that their prices for school supplies are the lowest around. read more

Honestly, this is the best Wal-Mart I have been to. The employees put you first and the place is well organized and clean. The prices are good and if I had any questions the staff was happy to help. I shop here a lot and even though I don't expect the red carpet at a Walmart they generally have good service. Tonight I went to return something I bought online during regular business hours and it's a heavy box so is a pain to load and unload. I get in and they tell me they close returns at 9:00? I asked if they can make an exception. He said he couldn't but I could go to the westminster store because they can do returns after 9:00. Ya like I want to drive an extra hour back and forth at 9:30 at night to return something that they should return there. I will never step foot in this store ever again! I think that most of the employees here are rude and their customer service is awful! Even the managers are rude! We just had an experience today where we went to price match a book through Amazon and the cashier told us we couldn't because it had to be Amazon.com (we were using the app and either way you'll get the same exact prices) so we get on the Amazon.com and sure enough same price and we said...still not good enough, now her and her manager are telling us that prime accounts make it cheaper (keep in mind it doesn't and prime is ONLY for shipping and other perks) so we said no it doesn't! They sell electronics but have no knowledge. I went in to trouble shoot my Family Mobile cell service and they are out of SIM cards and can't help me. I'm lowering my rating. This store really needs to make BASIC MATH a priority! Almost every single time we come in and we have multiples of anything there is always a problem. For instance, yesterday we did some grocery shopping and we had 36 small items, all the same, separated into 3 boxes of 12. We go to checkout and I tell the woman we have 36, so she didn't have to count and she could use the quantity button. Nope. She started ringing one of them up individually with a hand scanner. She stopped at 30 and then she looked at the items, looked back at the register, looked at me, looked back at the register, back to the items, back to me. I didn't say anything I waited for her to figure it out on her own. I timed it and after a minute I said, "You need 6 more." and she says, "Oh." So I said, "I told you we had 36." She said, "Oh I forgot and I was trying to count them again." I said, "You count 1 box and then multiply it by 3. 12 times 3 is 36." We have had this problem before where they have undercharged or overcharged us all because the cashiers cannot count the items. When we notice they undercharged us we always let them know that they need to charge us for it. Not everyone is as honest and that's bad. If their cashiers have such a problem with doing basic math then they need to start providing their cashiers with charts. Basic math goes a long long way in retail especially as a cashier. read more

I went to this Walmart because I hate the one in Westminster. Well, joke's on me because this one is identical to that one, down to the crowded, dirty, disorganized aisles, slow lines and unruly people. I almost got hit by two different people in electric carts, then actually did get physically hit by a woman who claimed I was about to step on her foot when I had to quickly step back to avoid getting run down. I like this Walmart cause it's clean and you rarely find things on the floor. Usually there's never a line at the check out stands. I do wish the employees were more talkative though. I came in about a month ago looking for a toy for my niece. She loves the LOL SURPRISE DOLLS and I really wanted to get her one for her birthday. I know how popular they are and knew I would have some trouble finding it. I went all over the toy department searching and couldn't find any. I was disappointed to say the least. I was about to give up when a nice young lady named Najla came up to me to ask if I needed help finding something. I told her what I was looking for and she was able to find me at least 2 in a matter of seconds. Her department was so neat and organized and she knew it so well that it was the fastest Walmart trip I've ever had. I was so pleased that I decided to do all my birthday shopping early this year and got all my gifts from Najla. She's so helpful and sweet. I'm glad she was the one helping me. I bought a Christmas sweater from here and then a week later tried to return it and because it was a holiday selection I got only 25% of my money back. I paid 20 dollars for the sweater and they could only give me 4 dollars in store credit. This is incredibly stupid. Fuck you walmart. read more

Worst customer experience EVER!!!! At store#02636 Huntington Beach, California. Received a refund to pick up in person after defective items was returned by mail after an online purchase. Email told me to go to any Walmart. I did, showed all email transactions. Chrissy the customer service mgr said no, they cant do it, told me to call Walmart.com I said no you call. Put her hand up to my face 2x to be quiet, was rude and was refusing to get me the store manager, asst. store manager or manager on duty until I said I was calling the police. Store manager(Ricardo) shows up and after 15 min. no apologies, and only after he's trying to call Walmart.com I got a gift card for 20 bucks?!?! when I paid for the defective deep fryer on my bank card???? which by the way bought a new one and other items. Spent 100 bucks!!! I will NEVER shop there again. Target will be my new "go to". 30 years in retail and never have I experienced such unprofessional customer experience in my life. Their inability to figure this simple refund(I have the receipt on email and the actual " go to any Walmart and get your refund with all the info and scan bar) It was NOT my problem and they put me through the wringer. LAMEST COMPANY EVER! Online orders for pickup are a joke here. Needed something difficult to carry. I'm disabled and busy trying to keep up with school and parenting. So I thought I'd pay for it online and I could just go to customer service in the front and take it home, and not have to walk through the store hoping to find it on the shelf then wrangle it through a register line. NOPE. You have to walk all the way back to the furthest back corner of the store, BUT even then, that window isn't open the same hours as the store. So now I have to come here twice, if it's even open tomorrow, walk twice as far as I would if I had not ordered online, and then deal with the guy that harasses you at the door for your receipt. What's even the point of ordering online for pickup if it's MORE trouble and closed when the rest of the store is open??? I wish I could cancel it but they already took the money from my account. Went with my husband to this Walmart location to pick up his prescription. We walked by the first cashier and I slipped on a big puddle of clear water on the floor. Never saw it!! I went down hard, hit my hip and elbow. I was on the floor for in shock. I was so embarrassed I started to cry. I'm 61 so it was not a jump up I'm ok situation. I filled out a report with un- sympathetic department manager and went home. Its been over a month and Walmart has said nothing!! not a letter asking me how I am..sorry you fell in our store..no gift card...nothing!! Glad I didn't break anything, my elbow still hurts.
