Family-owned and operated fresh donut shop that accepts modern payment methods like Apple pay hooray! Quite a selection of donuts on offer. I tried the buttermilk bar, which featured dough that was moist and fluffy it was almost like biting into a juicy buttermilk bar. I also tried the apple fritter which was pretty good however I prefer them more dense and with more glaze. Overall pretty on par with other high quality freshly made donuts from other family run shops. Definitely worth a try.

Westernco Donut is a fantastic, locally owned option for a quick, cheap bite. A donut here will drop you about 2 bucks, but the donut holes are literally 25 cents (didn't try them though). They have a deceptively large parking lot and for a donut shop, they're open rather late until 4PM, which is great for the non-morning folks like me. The donuts range a bit in quality from AMAZING FIVE STARS to a bit sub par. It is tough to be consistent when you have that many items, but here were my takeaways: - Apple Fritter (4.75/5): Amazing, maybe the best apple fritter I've ever had. - Glazed Cake Donut (4.5/5): I hate cake donuts, and I really liked this one; somehow they managed to get this super fluffy too. - Bear Claw (4/5): Solid bear claw, the apple filling is great. - Glazed Twist (2.75/5): Better than the regular glazed, but a little dry. - Glazed Raised (1.5/5): The actual dough tasted a little odd, kinda sour almost? - Glazed Cruller (2/5): Definitely not fried long enough and was raw in the middle. Probably should score lower, but I like eggs and it kinda tasted like eggs.

I spotted this place when heading back from the tiffin time restaurant very close to it. There was a huge spread of pastries and donuts right by the entrance that lured me in The staff were two old couple and I loved the way they served their customers. They were very warm and welcoming. I tried their donut holes and puff pastry and totally loved them. The price was reasonable and the service was super quick. Definitely coming back here again! It's more like a Togo place and a very small seating area, but the food served here is amazing

Yo wtf their apple fritter is incredible. The old fashioned donut is good too, I'd probably skip the rest. Those two alone r 4 stars tho

Very friendly and kind staff. Finally stopped by to try a donut as I was in the area. There's a big counter inside filled with the donuts they have available, which was a lot! French Cruller: This was a great donut, nice crisp on the outside with the glaze and super soft and moist on the inside. It was not too sweet at all which is amazing. Overall, it was a good amount of donut, just enough, but not too much that I feel like it was a lot. The donut hole was also very nice and crispy on the outside and a very delicious bite overall!

One of the stars of this rating is the Friendlist staff you can find. an old couple with a glowing smile who made the quickest order! I called them up for a dozen donuts and it was ready and packed with some extra donut holes, donuts added. There were lots of pasteries which I would love to try and these guys are on my list for baked pasteries!

I had to come here 3 times before I was able to write this review and for the effort I did, I'm not sure it's worth the hype hahaha. I was looking at all the yelp pic and saw that their donut holes was the super popular here and literally, the first 2 times I came here, they were out... I also wanted to try their maple bacon bar which I learned later you have to ask for it as it's not on display. The donut holes: pretty standard, unless I'm missing something it wasn't anything spectacular. The buttermilk bar was probably one of the better ones I had. It was literally a bar of butter haha, super buttery, crispy, dense, flavorful. The maple bacon bar was pretty unique. They grab one of the maple bar in display and went into the back and put bacon on hahah. All the other donuts was pretty standard in my opinion. Im more intrigue about their danish and pastry. I got one of their cream cheese/strawberry danish and it was pretty good and their savory pastries look really good too. I might come back to try those pastries if I'm in the area.

I stopped by starbucks next door and grabbed some coffee so I had to swing into Western Co and grab some of Best donuts on the Eastside! Family owned, always fresh! Yum yum yum

This shop is run by the sweetest couple who are so kind. They have a wide variety of pastries to choose from, but I went with just donuts today. I ordered 1/2 dozen, and they gave me an extra one for free! All the donuts were fresh and delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try all the options!

They also do raffles sometimes, which I think is such a fun touch. Another thing I like is that they always have themed or specialty drinks. I haven't tried them yet, but I think it's fun that they get creative, especially around the holidays or different seasons. I also really recommend their breakfast burritos. The vegetarian burrito and the sausage burrito are both so good, definitely ask for hot sauce because it makes them even better. The only downside is that the line can get pretty long sometimes. I've definitely waited around 15 minutes before, so it's best if you have a little extra time. That said, once you place your order they make the drinks and heat up the food pretty quickly, which helps move things along. We walked in and the lady behind the counter asked if we were dining in or ordering to go and told us we could sit wherever we liked. She quickly brought us menus. Nothing fancy. Simple menus on a clipboard. We ended up ordering two banh mis, a side of pho beef broth, chicken skewers and egg rolls. I forgot to mention when we first walked in, you could smell the fragrance of the pho broth. It was very satisfying in a foodie way. The skewers came out first. Nothing special. Some pieces were actually a little overcooked or dry. It was like they were reheated too long. They were lightly seasoned and good with the dipping sauce. Next came the banh mi and the broth. The bread on our banh mis was amazing. Seriously some of the best bread I've had in a long time. It was crunchy and light and had a very nice chew to it. I would inhale that bread every day if I could. It's insanely good. The fillings on the inside of the banh mi were fresh. I went with the standard cold cut banh mi and my husband ordered a fried egg. His egg was cooked perfectly, just slightly runny. My only complaint on the banh mi was I wish it had more filling. It was enough. And for $9 I'm not upset but it would have been a 5/5 if it just had more filling. Now that beef broth. Wow! It was so good. The aroma was amazing. The broth delivered on flavor without being greasy or feeling too heavy for a broth. It was light and super satisfying. The egg roll was alright. It was decent. Nothing to write home about but satisfying enough. I just wish they served it with the fish sauce instead of sweet chili sauce. I'll be back. Especially for their banh mi. Bc that bread man. And I did ask if they make it themselves. She said yes.

This 85°C Bakery is located in a large plaza that's always busy, especially since it's surrounded by popular food spots and restaurants. Because of that, the area can get pretty packed, but I was still really excited to stop by this location. As soon as you walk in, the space feels very open and spacious. I loved how big it was and how many tables they had available. Most 85°C Bakery locations feel more like a grab-and-go spot, so I appreciated that this one had plenty of seating and room to hang out. They also have touchscreen kiosks where you can order drinks and other items without needing help from a staff member. We walked around and looked at all the bakery items, and I'm always a fan of their almond croissants and protein breads. The chicken Hawaiian bun is one of my favorites, and their sausage bun is also delicious it's clearly a popular item. I also ordered their sea salt coffee. If you download the 85°C Bakery app and it's your first time using it, you get a free sea salt coffee, which was a nice bonus. While the food and drinks were great, the service was unfortunately lacking. One customer was confused about her order, and a staff member rolled her eyes at her. The same staff member also rolled her eyes at me and my family while we were in line. Overall, the staff didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. There wasn't much smiling or engagement, and it felt like everyone was annoyed rather than excited to help. We also noticed staff packaging food with boxes out in the open during our visit. I personally think this is something that should be done in the back or at least behind the register, rather than directly in front of customers. Overall, the experience was decent mainly because the bakery items and drinks were fresh and delicious. However, the staff could definitely be friendlier, as customer service plays a big role in the overall experience.

Since they already have another entrance, I think it would make more sense to keep that one open instead, it would create a much smoother flow. My friend got the seasonal sesame iced latte and said it was really good too.
