Westside is the most underrated delivery/take-out pizza. It's delicious, friendly staff, and this location is actually quite large for dine-in too. They have craft beer on tap and pinball! I was invited back by ownership to give them another try. I ordered a large pepperoni, just to keep it simple, and I admit, there was a marked improvement. The dough is still a little spongy for my taste, but it was much better, and the sauce improved from the last time. I still think it's a bit pricey for the overall quality, but it's better. Westside has the BEST pizza! I almost hate telling everyone because I don't want them to get too busy. However, as an owner of a business these past 32+ years, I know it's easy to tell the bad stuff. If you do enough business, there will be a little of that. But what is important is how you deal with the bad stuff. These guys have always treated my family and me great - first class all the way. The pizza was good The service was really good and the guys working very friendly. DON'T use the Groupon however and think you're getting a great deal because you're not. I bought the $15 value for $8. Ordered a large Canadian bacon/pineapple, cheese sticks, large bowl full of lettuce and croutons, and two beers. It still cost me over $25. It was clean. There were no other people in there until we started to leave and then a group of about 8/10 guys showed.. Possibly a lunch meeting or perhaps a low keep Christmas lunch. I cannot get over how much we enjoy coming to this place. We live in Kuna so we weren't aware we had a Westside Pizza in the area, to top it off we get some of our favorite style pizza we get amazing customer service from the staff here. We bring our twins in and our little family just feels right at home, everyone is so welcoming and polite it's become one of our favorite places to eat out. The service here was excellent but I can't say the same about the pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza but did not enjoy it because it had such a spongy texture. The pizza crust was actually all pre made and in a stack. So I saw a tower of spongy pizza crust and had a bad feeling about my lunch after that. This is just plain disgusting. It makes the pizza at WINCO's counter look okay, and makes Little Ceasar's pizza seem GOURMET. Even with a groupon, I won't order here again. I tried westside out for the second time. After my last visit I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered a large double pepperoni half with Italian sausage with extra pizza sauce. The guy at the front counter was super helpful very friendly. He told me about 10 minutes for my carry-out order. They definitely have a lot of Tvs if you want to catch a football game. They still have staffing issues to figure out. Only having one in-store to make pizzas and ring up the orders is a recipient for disaster. They had two delivery drivers that were in and out. I saw two guys give up after standing at the counter for 10 minutes without being able to place their order. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my pizza BUT the front counter guy was very apologetic, explained what happened and even gave me the extra pizza for free. So in that way it was encouraging customer service has improved. They messed up my first pizza made it wrong and had to re-make it this how I ended up with 2 pizzas and my extended wait time. Now for the pizza; the sauce is a little thick for my likening it's serviceable. The pizza stands out with the pepperoni and cheese; they put a good amount on there-pepperoni is crispy and has good flavor. The crust is what makes them unique; its baked in a pan deep dish thick style of crust. The flavor grows on you with each bite; taste of the thick crust interspersed with buttery pieces of the crust. All in all second time was better; hopefully they get more staff that way they can improve their service times and serve more customers. read more

West side is a new discovery for me but it has quickly become my favorite pizza place. The pizza is so good and the staff have always been wonderful. They have a bunch of specialty pizzas- if you like supreme you have to try their Death by Pizza. It is a supreme pizza on steroids and is my absolute favorite. Plus, management is wonderful. They recently did a customer appreciation special and we tried to order a pizza that evening. They were so busy we were unable to get through but we mentioned that to the manager and he was awesome and gave us a raincheck so we could still get the promotion price on our next order. We love going to Westside pizza. Their pizza is great but you really need to try their peanut butter and jelly pizza for dessert! They have amazing lunch deals and really fast service. I've even ordered online to take pizza to go and that process was easy and quick. read more

The pizza is ok. Let me state there are NOT a lot of pizza delivery options for the Lake Hazel/Maple Grove area. I know of about 4 pizza places and none of them are outstanding. Pizza just isn't taken seriously here in Boise. The pizza was delivered quickly and it was cooked properly. The sauce was good and the cheese was OK. Typical Boise pizza topping options. I like places that have a nice lunch special. Two slices and a drink for four bucks. Hard to beat that. The crust was good, if a little too soft for my taste. I liked the pizza sauce, just the right amount of tanginess...not to strong but definitely not bland. I would actually give it 3.5 stars as it is better than average pizza. If you enjoy gas station quality pizza look no further! I used a Groupon and got $15 worth of pizza for $8.50 thinking this was a bargain. Little did I know you can't use it on any specials. A large 2 topping was $8 even. So I got a medium with more toppings for more money and I could compare it to most gas station pizzas. read more
