Ordered Whataburger for the first time I walked in to order and the cashier to start out was extremely rude she told me to hold on walked away and made someone else ring me up then I asked for some ranch and the lady who rang me up told me no and that if I wanted one that they would charge me .38 cents and walked away and we ate the burgers and they were soggy, the onions weren't grilled and had no flavor we won't be going back customer service was horrible. Whataburger was open late so I decided to try one of their strawberry shakes. Seemed like a long wait in the drive through for the few cars in line at 3am. After getting my order I parked to try it out and soon realized that my pale pink shake had an odd vanilla flavor with zero strawberry flavor (apparently too few pumps of syrup). Love me some whataburger. #2 no cheese large fries! Been coming here for the last 4 months. This location has gotten alot better, cleaned up alot. And the food is usually decent. Im a regular and Sometimes they slip up and give me cold stale fries but they fix the problem right away. Destiny and felicia are super nice. Theres a night mgr, i forget his name who is super cool. I went to Whataburger drive-thru around 10:30pm with a serious craving for my favorite #5 Bacon Cheeseburger meal. I also got a Dr Pepper shake and an extra large fry. I was the first car in line and waited close to 23 minutes for my food. The cars behind started yelling at me and honking there horn. I finally got my food and the attendant gave me a cookie for my trouble. Once I got I home, I noticed my Lrg French Fry was a medium. I took a bite of my burger and also noticed it had no cheese on it, barely any lettuce and no onion. I opened up the burger and realized that what was givin to me was inedible(See picture below) I drove all the way back for a burger replacement. I showed the manager and asked for a brand new burger. When I got back home, the burger was old, had no onion, and barely any lettuce. I just threw it in trash! I've never in my 30 years as a loyal customer have had this kind of experience!??...My late night dinner from Whataburger was a Powerade, some French fries, a DrPepper shake and complementary cookie. We live in Las Vegas where there are no Wataburgers so we were super excited to finally try one while visiting Arizona. All I can say is wow! I'm so impressed! I had the patty melt & my husband had the mushroom Swiss and neither burger seemed like "fast food". They were juicy, fresh & so delicious. Let's get this straight from the get go; Whataburger is what it is..... A fast food burger joint. Nothing fancy, other than the ketchup. What's makes it great is how big and nasty you can make it. The add-ons and the size of the burger makes Whataburger loved. A lot of people love the spicy ketchup but for me the jalapeño ranch is life..... My go to is the Sweet & Spicy burger. Then I add avocado, fajita veggies, and green peppers. Lastly, I top it off with jalapeño ranch. It's a heart attack waiting to happen lol. P.S. This might be the slowest fast food place I've ever been to. We stopped on our way from LA to Las Cruces around 9p and it took SO long to get food. On our way back through we stopped again around 1:30p and the drive through line was not moving so we went in and it was packed, most people at tables didn't have their food. Wow. Came here with my boyfriend for dinner and had complex burger orders. Unfortunately, one of our burgers was made wrong and I'm super picky so we came back to get the right burger. Grasshopper galore... while trying to order our food, my boyfriend and I were attacked by three different grasshoppers inside the building. The cashier saw this entire thing play out, let's us pay and then proceeds to tell me that sometimes when she's cooking, she'll look up and a grasshopper will just be chilling in the kitchen. She also pointed to where and it was extremely close to the food. I love Whataburger, but I don't like grasshoppers, let alone being attacked by them. My boyfriend was waiting for our food and saw tons of bugs going onto food trays and around food. Completely unsanitary and we asked for a refund. read more

Today a little after 12 noon I went through the drive-thru and ordered two meals. The line was very long and moved extremely slowly which was kind of frustrating but it's kind of norm for this particular location on chandler Blvd and the 10. Once I arrived back to work LATE mind you, my co-worker noticed that her meal was wrong like not even close to what I ordered for her or what was accurately printed on the receipt. So I kindly gave them a call and was extremely polite because I am aware that errors do happen.SUSIE was kind and understanding but then she put MR. UNPROFESSIONAL Jorge on the line I explained to the manager Jorge that i could not return to the store ( my lunch break was over when I came back from getting the wrong meal) today and that the earliest I could come back was tomorrow. I asked him to please reimburse my card for the (1) meal that was given to me in error (the burger ordered was way more expensive than what I received I mean extra,extra bacon the works. He told me he would NOT reimburse today or tomorrow unless I returned the meal. So I asked him if my co worker was supposed to go hungry today so she can get a refund tomorrow?? I personally feel that if the error was on Whataburger's part then they should allow you to do what you will with the wrong meal and still get the refund because of the at fault error on their part... Yeah he didn't agree then proceeded to tell me that NO company on EARTH would return funds to someone without getting the merchandise back first. So I asked if he would be in tomorrow when i bring back the CONTAMINATED meal, his response was no, but he would leave a note for the manager that will be working to NOT GIVE ME A REFUND unless I return the meal. He was rude and extremely condescending ... and felt like he felt he needed to teach me a lesson about how business is run. So after he "put me in my place" I contacted Corporate and they said I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT need to return to the store with a contaminated meal in order to get a refund JORGE! So now they will be handling this situation much more professionally than Mr. Jorge. It's a shame that the staff was friendly and professional especially Suzie, but the Manager JORGE was the rude, condescending and unprofessional one! They said it would be a 7 minute wait for coffee. It is 430 a.m. how come we don't have coffee? Three employees in the place? For years, this was the go to place for late night dining. Unfortunately, this location no longer models the quality that's so proudly boasted on their website. Sadly, this is my third consecutive visit where my food was not fresh. It's a sad thing when the patty's on your burger are so cold that your cheese won't melt and it's cold to the touch. My hope is that someone sees this message and is able to influence the staff here to live up to the expectations that make this place great. My expectations are no different than what the company stands for, fresh food. Delivering low quality products makes you no different that McDonald's and burger king. Well let me restate that, it makes you no different than burger king because McDonald's is making fresh quarter pounders now. My recommendation to anyone reading this review is that you consider in n out burger which is down the street on Ray rd or another place that's committed to doing things right. The fault of this whataburger location lies in the management as they have not trained their staff to smile, work hard and not cut corners. The buns on my burger were not toasted to order and the meat was not made fresh, but instead were made earlier tonight and were sadly crisping up on the flat top grill. I only stoped here because my friends from Arizona and Texas told me Whataburger was the best so I had to find out myself. So I had the pattymelt the first time I want and it was ok... Nothing to go crazy over. I tried the hamburger my wife got and that too was just ok I would rather go to in-n-out if I wanted a burget. The second time I went (the next day on the way out of town) I got the bbq chicken strip sandwich and they was amazing I have never had anything like before I would go back just for they sandwich. The staff were super friendly was asked for alot of the spicy kechup to take back for our friends and they gave us a good hand full. Came to Arizona to watch Wrestlemania with my buddies. I never heard of this place before, but saw enough Whataburgers around town that I was interested in trying it. Being a West Coast kid, no other fast food burger will ever hold a candle to In-N-Out Burger... and that's not an opinion. It's a fact. But that isn't taking anything away from the other fast food joints. The Whataburger may be better described as the Jumbo Jack and Whopper's love child. The size and meatiness of the Whopper combined with the taste and quality of a Jumbo Jack. Both are decent, so I wasn't disappointed. It's a fast food place that isn't In-N-Out Burger... Stopped in to try Whataburger for first time. We ordered a #5 Bacon Cheeseburger with med Fries and coke, a #1 Cheeseburger with Onion Rings and med coke, and a #1 Cheeseburger with med Fries and coke. The messed up the order by giving us 3 med Fries and charging us for the onion rings and one of the #1 Cheeseburgers did not have and onions. Nevertheless we really enjoyed the burgers and the fries and onion rings were great. We also really liked the med cokes which were more like large size and the syrup and carbonation was perfect. And the ketchup pkgs were "fancy ketchup" and much better than other drive thru fast food places. None of the burgers had ketchup on them however, only mustard along with the lettuce, pickles, tomato etc. Overall we really enjoyed Whataburger. read more

Guy was packing food and fries and he stated we will be right with you. Women who I'm assuming was a manager or team leader was at the drive thru and she even came to the register and Did something at the register but didn't take my order. The guy packing food told Luisa to take my order and she just laughed and giggled and said no! The guy finally asked me what they could start for me and the manager women said no.. she was doing something at the register and going back and forth to the drive thru and she finally said the person is paying cash and she finally went back to the drive thru.
