I believe in giving credit where credit is due! Yesterday, July 5, my husband and I were on our way home from our house on Lake Amistad in Del Rio. We have both been on the keto diet for one month and we decided that Fourth of July weekend we would splurge! On the way home, we both were hungry and did not want to when we got home so he asked me what I wanted and I told him I'd like to have a cheeseburger. We exited the freeway in Kerrville and pulled into the Whataburger. This may be hard to believe that I have never had any food from Whataburger! They only had one line open for cars and there were quite a few in front of us, but we decided to get in line. I ordered a cheeseburger with no mustard, extra mayo and extra pickles a small order of fries and I wanted the new drink, strawberry strawberry hibiscus the young lady that took our order told us that unfortunately they had just run out so I just ordered a small . The line was moving right along and when we got to the first window to pay, the young lady said I am so sorry that we are strawberry hibiscus and I said no problem. I'll just take the . She said well maybe next time you can try us again. When we got to the window to get our food, the young man if the order was for and he named my husband and we said yes he had it ready, including the and handed it through the window to my husband. He said now you wanted ketchup is that said yes he said the spicy just the regular right we said yes he said well. I think you're good to go and before we pulled I said did you put napkins in the he said oh yes ma'am I sure did and he told us thank you very much and have a good rest of your day and be safe. I must say that when we received our food, the bag was so hot. I could hardly hold it while my husband drove, I took everything the bag and handed him his food and I had mine. I just need to say that, in my opinion that was without a doubt, the very best cheeseburger I have ever had! It was exactly as I ordered it, it had no extra mayo, extra and it was piping hot! You could tell that these were hamburger patties that had been cooked at 11 o'clock in the morning stacked up, ready to go and placed on individual burgers! It was most definitely cooked to order, and it was awesome! I just like to say that my brother and I had a restaurant in Stonewall Texas for 20 years. Help was so incredibly hard to find and good help was almost impossible! I hope that upper management sees this review because obviously they are doing something very right! I called today and asked to speak to the manager on duty and his name is Nathan. He thanked me so much for calling and Was extremely polite, as were the other two employees that we dealt with. I just wish that people would spend as much time praising a food establishment for the quality of the food and exceedingly polite manner of the employees as they do COMPLAINING!!! we do not live in Kerrville, but the next time we plan on going , I'll make sure to go hungry and stop at that Whataburger! We were wary due to the ratings, but service and food was amazing. Restaurant was clean. Only 2 downsides: 1. Lemonade was watery 2. Girls were waiting on mobile order pick up and ignored for a bit. Like so many others, we were on our way home from a Thanksgiving trip when we stopped to pick up our curbside order. My app froze and wouldn't let me check in, so I went inside -- and wow, this team deserves serious recognition! The restaurant was packed with travelers, and the line was full of people placing orders. The cashier was doing an amazing job calmly explaining which items were unavailable, even while dealing with a few frustrated customers. Despite the chaos, every single staff member -- from the manager to the cashier to the crew preparing and handing out orders -- stayed calm, friendly, respectful, and focused on helping everyone as quickly as possible. I dont know if the cook is dyslexic or didnt graduate highschool because not only did they NOT put the bacon on my husband's burger that he asked for... they also put mustard on my burger which the ticket says plain with mayo and ketchup only... Id let it slide but its reoccurring almost every time I go now it seems like. Make sure you double check your order before driving off is all i gotta say. And for them to look for a better cook. I have been to a lot of Whataburger's in my day so what can be said that hasn't been said by many. This iconic fast food joint has a special place in the heart of many Texans. On a road trip back to Texas, I stopped by this location in Kerville to get some takeout for dinner. I parked and walked in. Ambiance (3/5): Pretty much your typical fast food restaurant so not a lot to comment on here. Whataburger does have its iconic orange arches which is nice. And it's a bit cleaner than your typical fast food joint. Service (4/5): You place your order at the counter and they call your name when your order is ready if you're getting it to go. If you dine in, they will bring your food to your table along with condiments for you to choose from. They go above and beyond compared to most fast food spots. Drinks (4/5): As usual, I went with a sweet tea. Whataburger's cups are large which is always nice. And the tea is freshly brewed which is also nice. Outside of that, your typical assortment of soft drinks. Food (3.5/5): I have a couple of favorites at Whataburger. This time around, I went with the chicken strips meal which comes with three strips, fries, Texas toast, and your choice of sauce. They recommend warm white gravy, which is what I went with, but you can go with another option if that's what you prefer. And then there's also Whataburger's own ketchup and spicy ketchup which is a must. It's a filling meal. The strips and toast aren't fantastic but they're solid. And the fries are quite good for fast food. When it comes to fast food restaurants, Whataburger is up there for me. read more

A brand new Whataburger opened in Kerrville, right by the entrance to the I-10 freeway on Sidney Baker. It was so new, they opened for business November 28th. We went there December 3rd and they still had construction people painting and doing detail work. The inside was finished and serving delicious burgers! We were hungry after running errands in Kerrville. We stopped by to eat lunch on our way back home. Food wise, the burgers were hot and just off the grill - just like I wanted it. The fries were freshly cooked and delicious. The whataburger reputation is still intact. No complaints there. The inside is very bright and airy and the view to the west is a hill with big houses peeking through the changing colors of the trees. Very picturesque! Overall - a wonderful change of pace and worth the drive to try out this new Whataburger. One caution - very important! Throw out the styrofoam cups for soft drinks and not put them in the cup holder in your vehicle. The cups are so fragile that when I tried to pick it up from the cup holder, my fingers went through the side of the cup and spilled the liquid all over the cup holder and somewhere into the car. My church was headed home from camp when our bus broke down. We decided to stop at Whataburger due to this and thought we would call ahead as we had a big group. The person I talked to was super helpful. There's also plenty of space to park a big bus which was nice. When we got there the team was READY, helpful and quick. Food was great and orders all correct. Natalie was bringing us the food and condiments, and always patient with our girls. Tina also came out a couple times and just asked if we needed anything. As we were ready to leave, Mitch and Vanessa came and talked with us just to be friendly and make sure we were all set. This was amazing after a stressful situation. A big group of hungry and tired girls is not always easy, but they were amazing. Staff was phenomenal, cannot recommend this whataburger enough! read more

A new WB in the modern design style. This left a "somewhat clean" but sterile feel. Tables were too high - I thought it was just us but other patrons also were eating at upper chest height too. It's not like that at other modern WB so I don't know if that's new or someone didn't follow directions. Ordered several items this morning via the drive-thru, including a honey butter chicken biscuit and three orders of hash browns. Instead, I received a chicken biscuit (it literally was a chicken finger between *DRY* halves of a biscuit) and zero (0) hash browns. Zero (0) hash browns, out of three (3) hash browns ordered and paid for. I had gone with my family to this location in recent weeks to eat in. It was getting late, but the dispensers for the napkins and straws were empty--and curiously, they stayed empty after napkins and straws were brought to us. The restaurant itself, physically, is nice and seems to stay clean... but the service is severely lacking. Please be aware that there are three other Whataburger locations in the Kerrville-Ingram area. Go to any of them instead of this one, even if you're just stopping by from a trip on I-10. read more

Honestly, love the new Whataburger in Kerrville. I will never go wrong with a grilled chicken at this location. It's always fresh and juicy, all the flavor contained inside and it the taste of the chicken whenever you bite in is so good. The staff I've encountered so far have been nothing less than helpful, kind, and friendly, which I haven't seen at most fast food places. The store has a modern aesthetic, with LED lights surrounding the outside of the store and giving the location that orange glow. read more

Hubby wanted a DP shake again so we tried this Whataburger again. The drive through experience was 100% better. They were taking orders from only one lane so the other was coned off.
