    Wicked

Service just Okay... ordered to go with a few of my friends. Our first time at this location. Ordered online via their website and it was stated online that they open at 11:00am but when we submitted the order; it said they open at 11:30am that day and the order will be ready by 11:45 AM. Arrived and the food was still not ready; so waited a bit. We had the Wicked which consisted of five meats and three cheeses. You can choose three cheese, up to 20 toppings & condiments (great deal!) The food is mediocre, it did not taste great nor bad. Just okay. The price was decent but I would not return again. Pro: up to 20 topping and condiments, decent price for sandwiches. Cons: order took a while (it was not busy inside the shop) and weren't attentive

As far as sandwich chains in Cali go, this one is my favorite. The sandwich to get is the Muffuletta! The olive spread on it and the oil and vinegar just light Italian sandwich on fire. Absolutely love their hot peppers too. Bread was perfect, just an all around delicious grab. Their ordering system is the best. Grab a bag, check what you want and boom. Always comes out perfect. This location has a super friendly staff and it was very clean.

Now, I'm not one to brag about myself, but I like to think I'm somewhat of a sandwich connoisseur....so take my word for it when I say, GoshDarn! This was delicious! As someone who had a couple bean burritos for breakfast, some wetzel pretzel as a snack, a lil Gelato as a sweet treat and 4 pork potstickers to keep me going as we braved the San Diego Zoo (during a PEAK field trip week, might I add), I was looking for something on the lighter side for a late lunch! Which Which did not disappoint. IN FACT! I would say the kind woman who helped us and created our masterpieces, is the reason I am still smiling now! As I look back and think about my iconic wrap, I wonder why other sandwich shops are so mediocre. That question will sit unanswered, but regardless, the sandwich artist who helped us today deserves a raise! Thank you Which Which! We will be Back Back! P.S. : Very clean establishment and wonderful ambience!

UPDATE* Finally received my refund after a week of calling in and trying to reach the manager again. I'm glad I got my refund but very disappointed in this business overall service and what they put out. Still would not recommend spending your money here.

Overall good sandwich. Smaller than I expected, but taste was exactly what I was looking for. Fries could have used some more salt, but not too bad.

Wicked. The most expensive miniature sandwich in town.

Way over priced. WAY. You could get a subway foot long for half the price of a WW regular and it would be more full of ingredients and taste as good if not better. I got turkey, ham, bacon with lettuce, red onion, tomato, jalapeños, provolone, and more. I was shocked it's so tiny like the size of a Taco Bell bean burrito. Not sure I even got all the ingredients I don't know how they'd all fit in what I got. Pic shows half of it. I gave the 2nd star because it tasted decent but definitely my last time eating WW.

I heard they're going to start serving beer and wine soon as well! *Best 1st-timer options*: The Keeper (if you like it spicy) or the L.G.B.T. My favorite hot sandwiches are the Cali Cubano, B3, and The Keeper, while my favorite cold sandwiches are the Avocado Highway, L.G.B.T. (lettuce, gouda, bacon, tomato), and Caprese. My favorite salads are the Grapevine and Duck Cranberry. For sides I recommend the potato salad and tomato basil bisque. The aioli they use is to die for -- can't hurt to get a side of it with any sandwich! The restaurant is situated on the corner of Park Blvd. and Polk Ave. (more generally, it's on the strip of Park Blvd. between University Ave. and El Cajon Blvd.). There is usually a good amount of parking on Park Blvd. and Polk Ave., which is nice. The space has a simple-yet-tasteful modern design and interior, is always clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Great for lunch hour or a weekend date. Update: Came back today with my friend and we ordered the B3 and the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwiches, plus sides of potato salad and cucumber salad, and a double chocolate cookie with pistachio and sea salt. Everything was really good, but the Turkey & Cheddar Mousse sandwich was the star of the show. The cookie was great too. We both agreed the potato salad could use some salt, but besides that it was a solid meal all around.

Whether it was meant to provoke a reaction or passed off as a "joke," it came across as mocking and targeted, and none of the other staff appeared to check it or even acknowledge it. For a deli in the heart of Bankers Hill, you'd expect basic professionalism and courtesy. Instead, the vibe felt entitled and dismissive. I've been to other delis around town with far kinder service. I planned to order a their soup and half-sandwich combo. After waiting my turn, I asked what the soup of the day was. Instead of a direct response, the employee behind the counter (wearing a black shirt) pointed vaguely toward the counter and said, "It's right there." There were multiple signs and items, and it wasn't clear what he was referring to. I asked again for clarification, and he repeated himself--this time with clear irritation. I said "I don't see it". With some distain he replied "chicken noodle soup". At that point, it was obvious the interaction wasn't going anywhere productive or that this individual did not value his customers. I made a comment about the attitude and left. Here's the reality: in today's economic environment, every customer matters. I came in with the intention of spending money and potentially becoming a repeat customer. Instead, I was met with dismissive and unfriendly service for no reason. What are we doing? I wasn't rude or confrontational - I simply asked a basic question. The employee could have have simply stated what the soup of the day was. Instead, his attitude was unnecessarily hostile and reflects poorly on the business. Interactions like that don't just lose a single sale, they cost long-term customers and referrals.
