This walk up serving place was inside a bigger mall type building, with some amazing lobster entrées and sides. We just tried the standard lobster, and it was delicious. We didn't try all the other options that they had available, but it seems like everyone was really enjoying what they had. Overall very clean and tidy, and enjoyable place to eat lobster read more

This is a food court style restaurant for easy to-go orders. There is seating in the hall, but it can get crowded so don't count on it. Wicked Lobsta has good prices comparatively if you're looking for lobster. I was finding places in the area charging over $40 for a lobster roll. The naked lobster roll here is nice if you're not a mayo fan. It's served on a buttery roll and tastes great. They also have a creamy clam chowder to pair with it. read more

You all know I don't give out 5 stars easily, but this place was well earned. The lobster roll was cooked to perfection. The roll was soft and buttery. The lobster was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of seasoning. Paired nice with a lemon to drizzle across. The clam chowder was also nice and tasty. Located in Faneuil Hall (Quincy Hall), this shop was bustling with activity and customers. Hey! I'm in Boston, and I want LOBSTER! They had a special of a Hot Buttered Lobster Roll, medium Clam Chowder, and a drink. Perfect! To be honest I'm not a huge lobster fan but this roll Was good. Loaded with rich lobster, the roll did not disappoint. The chowder was good, almost as good as mine! Seriously it was pretty darn good. I like it a tad thicker and a bit less cream, but when you are sipping off the top of the cup and you are getting good clam, it is pretty darn good! read more

What else are you going to get when you travel to Boston? The first day after a grueling red eye flight we came to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall which had a lovely traditional food hall vibes. Grab your food and go vibes. There were plenty of establishments that sold lobster rolls, clam chowder what have you, but we came to this place. Cost about 30-40$ for the set to share, bit pricey but lobster roll alone nowadays cost 20$ plus anyways. What's going for it were the serious chunks of lobster that tasted fresh and bouncy, a solid experience in the end. read more

Food: It was okay. They put plenty of lobster, but there was no flavor in the lobster. I wish they seasoned it or did something to give it a bit more flavor. Easily the best (and most expensive) lobster roll I've ever had. I got a classic, warm lobster roll and it came CRAMMED with meat. Also it wasn't just left over pieces of meat, it was good fully in fact lumps from the claw, not the chewy, grisly kind you sometimes get at chains like Luke's Lobster. We were told that lobster rolls were a must in the New England area. We didn't enjoy cold rolls but the hot lobster rolls here were the garlic buttery ness that made the Uber expensive worth it! We were very disappointed with the meals here. Ordered two of their specials which comes with a chowder and lemonade each. First was the lobster salad roll and the second was the lobster melt. Let's start with the lobster salad roll - lots of mushed up lobster pieces and tons of lettuce at the bottom. The lobster melt was overly greasy and oily. It was like eating a mouthful of oil! The chowder was watery with barely any clams nor potatoes! Lemonade was good though so I give them that at least. The menu at the counter stated market price so the guy told us $33.50 a piece. A total of $67 - good lord! We arrived around 5 pm ish when the market was quite dead so they thought they could probably get away with serving people trash and seeing that we're tourists, that we're never coming back anyway. Not only that, we walked down a few stalls later on and saw that Boston Chowda House had the same type of manager special on their menu for only $28?! It makes me wonder if the guy at the counter thought we were stupid and that he can name whatever price he wanted because we're two naive looking Asian women. It really ruined our first impression of a good Boston lobster roll until we got one at Legal's at the waterfront which was a huge roll with tons of chunks and comes with fries for $36! Night and day! Save your money and go eat at an actual restaurant for decent lobster rolls! read more

This place had quick service but my traditional lobster roll lacked flavor and had tons of shell pieces in it. The clam chowda lacked flavor also and needed salt, plus it only had a few very small pieces of clam in it. It was not worth the forty dollars. read more

Very pleasantly surprised! Nervous about the freshness and deliciousness of food hall fare I trusted my gut and Yelp reviews and checked out Wicked Lobsta. The lobster roll was hearty and had a great flavor. There was a good ratio of claw to tail meat and the bun was toasty and buttery. The chowder was rich and hearty and good but sadly did not have a lot of clams. The combo was inclusive of the sandwich, chowder and drink and was reasonably priced at $34 total. My traditional Maine lobster roll was decent, it is cold lobster with lots of mayo and a spice mix sprinkled on top. Just not that impressive. Next time I'll order one of the warm rolls. Or better yet go to legal where they are pricier but so much flavorful. read more

We stumbled upon this place in Quincy Market on our first day in Boston. The lobster melt was $36 but it was something different from a lobster roll so we decided to get it. Boy was I glad we did!! The cheese added so much flavor and made it so perfect. It was perfectly buttered and toasted with generous amounts lobster with the perfect amount of cheese inside. Ordered the baked haddock and the lobster roll special (lobster roll; cup of chowder and a can of soda) My son said the haddock was good. The lobster roll was DRY DRY DRY and no butter. Completely tasteless. The chowder was great! The cashier (301 AM Cashi) was less than happy to be working. It was clearly written all over her face. She does not listen either as I had to repeat myself several times. The supervisor and server were quick and officiant. Complete waste of money and my time on my 1/2 hour lunch break. I wasn't stunned by my hot lobster roll. Don't get me wrong, it was good. But, for the somewhat outrageous price of 40 dollars for the roll and a drink, it was hard to justify a good review. The lobster was fresh and came in a solid portion size but lacked flavor. I think it will always feel a little outrageous to me to pay $60+ for 2 lobster rolls/sandwiches but hey, "when in New England" I guess. The lobster roll and the lobster grilled cheese did not disappoint. The lobster itself wasn't as tender as I had hoped, it was a little tough and chewy but for a lunch hall I suppose it's right on par and was better than some of the other lobster rolls that looked like they were sitting in a window keeping warm waiting to be handed to someone. I watched this kitchen prepare my food fresh and it was handed to me the second it was cooked. read more

The easiest 5 out of 5 I've ever given. My girlfriend and I are on vacation up in Boston for Labor Day weekend. I'm from NJ and she's from Miami. As we were looking around Quincy Market in Boston, MA for something good to eat when we happened upon Wicked Lobsta which we found had the highest rating of all places in the Market. Checking out the menu, everything sounded delicious. We decided upon the Hot Lobster Roll, Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Clam Chowda in a Bread Boule. Unfortunately, they were out of the Mac and Cheese (it's their most popular item), so we decided on a Traditional Cold Lobster Roll. Now, I've had a lot of Lobster Rolls, but the Traditional Cold Lobster Roll from here was easily the BEST Lobster Roll I've ever had. The lobster meat was buttery and soft and easy to bite through, the mayo was delicious and tasty and enhances the taste of the lobster. The lettuce underneath added a nice crunch to it all, and the bread was the winner. The bread was soft but firm. It soaked up the juices of the lobster and mayo and was the perfect amount of buttery. The Hot Lobster Roll was just as yummy but I'd eat the cold one every day of the week. The Clam Chowda in the Bread Boule though won the day for my girlfriend and I. The clam chowda was hot and creamy and stuffed with clam. The bread was perfect and soaked up the creamy clam chowder sauce. Overall, we were easily impressed. That was the best Clam Chowda I have ever had. We also got the traditional homemade lemonade which paired nicely with our seafood. We would definitely eat here again and probably will. So when I was visiting Boston with my husband two weeks ago, I thought this Waterfront location would be a great spot for dinner on our first night in Boston. The family behind The Daily Catch opened their first business in Boston (in the North End) in 1973 - a small storefront selling calamari. Since then, it's become a bit of an institution in Boston, with several locations and now a full-service, large-menued Sicilian-style seafood and pasta restaurant. I waited an hour outside their Brookline location when I ate there years ago, and the wait was worth it. People who have eaten at their North End location may remember waiting for a bit, too. But this Waterfront location? THEY TAKE RESERVATIONS. Hallelujah. We had a reservation for around 8pm on Friday night and were seated at our table right away upon arriving. The restaurant is beautiful but understated - not flashy or too modern - with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The service was top notch. Our server was PJ, and he was incredible - helpful, friendly, always checking in with us. But even other people stopped by to make sure we didn't need anything. The menu is pretty large, and I wanted A LOT OF IT. Unfortunately, we were only two people and had to order responsibly. We shared the stuffed calamari (calamari stuffed with herbed bread crumbs, pine nuts, and raisins, and served in their red sauce); a Caesar salad (classic, and we added anchovies on top); their black pasta aglio olio (ground calamari, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, romano cheese, and parsley); and their monkfish marsala (pan-seared monkfish medallions with mushrooms in a marsala wine butter sauce). What I loved? That stuffed calamari. I had it almost ten years ago when I ate at their Brookline location. I remembered it, and we had it again. It's an incredible dish. There's a reason their black pasta aglio olio is so popular. It's a classic and very delicious. The ground calamari is such a nice touch, and the dish is fresh and super garlicky and delicious. (They serve their pastas in the pan - it's something they are known for - a charming touch!) I also think their drink menu is great. I had a great glass (or two?) of wine white from Sicily (Pietradolce Etna Bianco - a 100% Carricante grape wine from the Northern slopes of Mount Etna), while my husband had a cocktail (or two?). The only thing that kept this from being an absolutely perfect dinner was the monkfish marsala. The monkfish was cooked beautifully cooked, but I found the sauce very off. It was bizarre - it tasted like maple syrup to me. I think the marsala was too sweet or not cooked out enough or - is it possible?! - something was added for additional sweetness and the balance was off. Way too sweet for me with the fish. We ate the fish but tried to get as much off the sauce off as possible. The only miss in a meal that was otherwise wonderful in service, ambiance, food, and drink! The Daily Catch is a classic for a reason. If you've always wanted to try it, this Waterfront location is great - since they do take reservations here! Great Sicilian food in the heart of Boston.

I can't get enough of their monkfish Marsala, usually ordered with the black squid ink pasta. There's always a line out front, and it's worth the wait. When I had the chance to bring a colleague at the end of the trip, he ordered the same dish and loved it. This is not a fancy place and it isn't trying to be. It's seriously good Italian seafood with epic portions. Go easy on the bread they bring with olive oil and spices because the plates are huge. I can rarely finish a full meal after an appetizer, so I usually just order the main. I'm excited they now have a location in Pasadena, California, which is convenient for my work travel. I can't wait to try it. PRO-TIP: there are a couple other locations nearby. Same good cooking. If you don't want to specifically eat in the original location, then it may be faster to pivot to Daily Catch Takeout Window at 331 Hanover Street, two doors from the original or the full service Waterfront site at 65 Atlantic Avenue which is an 8 to 12 minute walk from the original location through the North End streets.

Wicked Lobsta at Quincy Market was amazing! It's definitely worth a visit. The clam chowder served in a warm, crusty bread bowl hit the spot. I believe this is a new restaurant on Faneuil Hall. Tried the Lobster Roll and it was very good.Compared to most lobster rolls, this is just a much lighter and cleaner tasting. The pure flavors of lobster shines through without being masked by any real sauce. We all know that butter is the best accompaniment for any crustacean, so that's what Wicked Lobsta gave us. The chowder was very tasty as well. Came back and tried the lobster roll with Mayo, and also that was a delight. Big chunks of lobster meat with a light mayo sauce. Delightful surprise! I ordered the hot lobsta' roll. It was loaded with lobster (must have been the equivalent of 2 tails plus claw meat)! They don't skimp on the butter and the toasted bun (perhaps a brioche roll) was soft and the entire lobster roll delectable. I got so excited that I forgot to squeeze a little lemon. The seasoning really distinguished this roll. It was delish! Grab a lot of napkins, I liked my fingers and then used my lemon wedge to clean my hands. read more
