The staff is friendly and would have felt more comfortable if the server made no suggestions as to how I spend my money or how much I should order. When looking for a restaurant to host our end of the year banquet, we looked fo further than World Famous Grill. As a teacher of the local high school we frequent the restaurant for their delicious kabob plates, asada fries, and chili cheese fries. For our banquet we found the staff to be attentive, and so accommodating. We were a party of 50 and were treated like family. Ugh my heart! I just left world famous about 10 minutes ago and seriously every single time I come by here I get the best service even though the place is jammed packed and extremely busy! I either have gotten the young sweet lady working cash register who is just the best and the young man who is catering to every single customer there. Yelp check-in offer is you get a free drink. We arrived at an off time during the day on a Tuesday. We were seated fairly quick and were asked a few times if we were ready to order. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, my husband ordered the grilled chicken burger with cheese, and my mother in law ordered the crispy chicken burger. Although I did not try the crispy chicken burger, it looked good. The chicken did not look burnt or dry. The grilled chicken burger came out without the cheese so they had to take it back to fix it. Very nice about it but that has happened before too. I only tried the chicken in the burger and thought it was fine, but a bit bland. My husband enjoyed the burger. The chicken quesadilla was the highlight. One of the best I have had. The chicken was flavorful and the mixture inside the tortilla was enough that it was not overflowing when I was biting into it. I've had the Mediterranean dishes from this restaurant plenty of times. Today however, I was in the mood for something light. The raspberry salad with grilled chicken caught my eye and it DID NOT disappoint! On Sunday evening we stopped by 30 mins before their posted close time for a quick dinner after a long day. We waited in their drive through line to order since, their drive thru doesn't have a speaker. They had stopped serving in the time we had waited to take our order. We had even tried calling in an order before lining up in their drive through but no one answered the phones. We finally ate at World Famous Grill. The service and the food were both 5 stars, hands down! We were greeted by the loveliest woman named Leila, who was so wonderful that I could've stayed there for hours! We had the shawarma combo, kabob combo, and Sam had a mini burger, which was no mini! All meats were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The hummus was tasty, and the tabouli was so fresh. My kabobs were served on a bed of aromatic rice with a little bit of vermicelli mixed in. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the customer service. It wasn't horrible but there's definitely room for improvement. I tried the carne asada fries and the chicken shawarma wrap, both were delicious! I especially loved the asada fries. Fatima's Grill gets a lot of attention but I thought they're asada fries were awful and this place really deserves more attention. On the bright side, it's not very busy and the service is friendly and quicker than Fatima's. The prices are also better and the service was nicer. The only thing I recommend is to skip the drive thru and walk-in instead because they don't seem to keep an eye on the drive thru window and they don't have an intercom to order from either.
