I was in the area for work and my work friend and I decided to check this place out for a late lunch on a weekday afternoon. It was good timing, because I had literally discovered this spot on Instagram two days prior to our visit. The establishment itself isn't fancy, but the food and service are exceptional! I think this is why there is such a big traction on social media. I'm a big fan! Food: 5 out of 5 I ordered the cheese/zaatar pie, meat pie, and baklava. There were many options. In addition to Lebanese food choices, they also offer American-type food, as well. They also have freshly made Lebanese pastries and desserts. + Cheese/Zaatar Pie - I like that it was literally half and half. One side was cheese and the other side was Zaatar. Folding it in half and eating it is a brilliant idea. You get the cheesiness from the cheese and flavor from the zaatar. The flatbread is thin. It's huge, so one pie can easily sustain someone with a big appetite like myself! It was piping hot when it was served! So fresh and so good! + Meat Pie - The meat pie was just as large as the cheese/zaatar pie. It was also piping hot and fresh. This one is heartier and perfect for meatlovers. I ate both at the same time. I couldn't help it. What can I say, I was a beast double fisting these pies. + Desserts - The desserts, from what I understand, are made in-house. They were the right amount of sweetness. I mean, can you ever go wrong with freshly-made baklava? No. Never. Desserts here are a must to accompany your savory food. Service: 5 out of 5 While we were ordering out food, a kind grandma came out from inside and greeted us. She was so sweet and welcoming! She offered us free desserts and she was so generous with it! During our meal, grandma came to check on us. The other family members who also work here came to check in and crack a few jokes. It was so homely and comforting. This is one of the best hospitality I've received at an establishment. A big shoutout to you, grandma! Inside/Outside: 4 out of 5 The restaurant itself is adjacent to a little Lebanese market. The marker offers Lebanese groceries, snacks, drinks, etc. There is a door that connects the restaurant to the market; super convenient. There is a little parking lot out front. If it gets busy, parking may be a tad bit difficult to find in the lot. That being said, I have seen open spots on the street. Inside the restaurant, you order at the counter and you wait for your food to be brought out. It is very casual, fast food-type dining. read more

Big portions with good food. Came with big family and ordered alot of items from the menu. Tried the Kabobs, Burrito Famoso, Fries, Steak Wrap, Shwarma bowl, and chicken quesadilla. Everything was amazing, tasted, great, and came with alot of food. We were stuffed and had enough left overs for another meal. It was easy to order and pay at the counter, and they bring the food to you. This is definitely not the fanciest place but does the job as a regular location with good food. I've only tried a few items from the menu but what I've experienced has been very good. I've had the classic cheeseburger and the patty was nicely formed, grilled just right, and delicious. I've had the steak wrap that has flavorful sliced steak in a tomato basil tortilla (hold the mayo). Very good, large, and satisfying. And I've had the steak & cheese sub (no mushrooms). Love a good Philly cheesesteak and this one fits the bill. They cover a wide range on their menu from Mediterranean and Mexican to American Fusion. I'd say there's something for everyone and I'm guessing all of it is good based on the care that goes into preparing and serving the food. It shows. read more

Since I was in the area I decided to drop by and try out the food. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma sandwich and a free coke with a yelp check in. I dined in but you have to be patient because they try to get the drive thru orders out first. My sandwich had more meat than veggies so you could really taste the roasted chicken, I would've preferred a half and half ratio to even out the flavor. They also offer baklava and rice pudding and they were both delicious. It's rare to find a great tasting rice pudding but the owner's mom knows how to make it right. read more

This place is AMAZING!!! If you haven't experienced this establishment you are seriously missing out on some great food! I've lived in the area since they opened 15 years ago. I finally decided to try it today. I ordered the beef shawarma wrap and my husband ordered the kabob plate. The wrap came with a side of homemade hummus that was so light and creamy and perfectly golden hot french fries. The shawarma meat was so flavorful, the pickled turnips were crunchy and the pickled jalapeño in a wrap was perfection! I'm guessing the kabob plate was equally as as delicious since my husband didn't leave anything on it other than some rice since it was a healthy serving. Also, his plate came with tabouli. I love tabouli but he doesn't like raw parsley and he actually said this one was edible! So that says a lot about the freshness of the salad, lol. We were able to chat with the owner a bit. They have two locations, in Downey and this one in my old town where I grew up, in Bell! Back in the day this location was a Kentucky Fried Chicken and they still have that drive up window so it's convenient to order and pick up at the window. Went to visit a friend who told me about this place a couple years ago and so far I LOVE it, it's the best Kebab Mediterranean cuisine place/food in Bell, and the food here is better here than the Downey location, yes I'm aware it's the same food choices but the Bell location is just so much better for some reason. All fresh, halal goodness, and all meats are of the best quality! My go to is the Kebab plate and they have both regular garlic and spicy garlic sauce, always ask for both bc it's so delicious and compliments the meats which are already so good. I went back a few times and brought/introduced another good friend to this good place and he loved it right away becoming an instant regular! Everything else they make looks so good too, and every time we say how we're going to try other things from their menu but we always end up ordering our usual kebab plates! lol. They maintain a nice and clean restaurant with a very friendly staff. If it's your first time here then I would recommend getting their western burger combo and upgrading the fires to chilli cheese. Hit up World Famous Grill yesterday with and gorged myself on some fusion food‼ World Famous Grill is legit holding it down in Bell, California! Not only does their menu include a huge selection of middle eastern and mexican food, but they also have bomb burgers, flatbreads, hot dogs, loaded fries, and breakfast options. Additionally, they are also halal and have their own market attached to the restaurant where you can purchase meats and other necessities! I legitimately loved everything we ate! All the meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. The kicker though is their spicy garlic sauce - when you go, ask for extra so you can douse everything in it. It IS that good!!!! We are already talking about returning and what we'll they next. For appetizers, we had the hummus and chicken rolls. Scrumptious! However two women arrived at 7:30 pm and were talking to the owner and received their food at 7:40 so how is that possible. My food was done at 7:42 and I saw the worker pack it up however she put it to the side, didnt even bother announcing the order number. Every time I went to this place, service was so bad and I kept giving them chance after chance and dragged my family but last night was last time. We got there 7:20 while I was placing order, he said minimum wait time for food is 1 hour, since it took us 40 minutes to get there my husband agreed to stay. They close at 9, we didn't get our food till 9:20, 2 hours later. Food was cold, meat was burnt and my family and I just ate because we had no choice at that point. Employees had no remorse whatsoever. One employee was on phone whole time other would go out very next to door and kept smoking. And I was with little baby. I am giving this business 1 star for their poor customer service. I went there to have dinner last Sunday thinking it was going to be packed since it was during the weekend. To my surprise, it was not busy at all. I now know why. We ordered three plates, however only two were served. After 35 minutes had passed, I went check for the status of our missing plate. They told me it was almost ready. I waited until my kids finished all their food and went to ask for my money back. They were not apologetic at all. They did no care to give an explanation or to mend things up. Additionally, when one of my kids was ordering his food and asked about one of their patlates, the young girl at the register seemed to be annoyed by the questions.
