This is a wonderful, healthy, to-go, fast-food restaurant!!! My in-laws really loved the one in Corte Madera, and highly recommended this place to us. They have flawless reviews, whatever location you look up. It's pretty cool they are a mini Bay Area chain. Their concept is pretty cool - various cuisines from around the world, all on one menu, similar style of food, but also different cuisines. It's great realizing how different, yet so similar, cuisines are to each other. I think it's also fun that you can order each dish in a wrap or bowl form! I ordered the Samurai Salmon Bowl (Roasted Fresh Salmon, Sushi Rice, Avocado, Cucumber, Rainbow Slaw, Daikon Sprouts, Scallion, Sesame Seeds, Wasabi Vinaigrette, Wasabi Aioli), which was amazing!!!! Everything about it tasted so great - the salmon, the rice, the wasabi aioli, and cole slaw veggies too. It was just a great variety of flavors, and textures on my plate. I was impressed that everything tasted so fresh and delicious, considering it was fast food. Wow. My husband ordered the Bugolgi Beef Bowl (Thinly-Sliced Marinated Steak, Sushi Rice, Tamago, Cucumber, Scallion, Pickled Carrot, Sesame-Furikake Seasoning, Gochujang Sauce, Garlic Aioli), which he also really loved. Service was pretty fast. We dined in, since it was our first time and didn't know what to expect. The place seems more fit for to-go orders though, as there are several paper bags lined up ready to be given to customers. The atmosphere was a bit sterile, so that's why I would recommend doing to-go yourself. It was also freezing cold that night - it felt like we were dining outdoors, but really, the door just stayed open, and thus the draft kept blowing in. I would recommend coming here for lunch rather than dinner, just because it seems like a great grab-and-go type of place. However, if you live in the area, I would say this is a great option any time of day. I really can't wait to return. There were so many other things on the menu that I also was curious in trying. This place does it all. You'd expect their wraps to be the best but I opted for a bowl and loved it. Furikake Salmon Bowl - Salmon was so soft and tender yet rich in flavor. My friend and I were hungry looking for food and I saw they had sushi wrap rolls which reminded me of Sushiritto. I decided to try this place to see how the quality compares . Shareable rolls - 3 different rolls for $17 -Salmon roll : I was not expecting this to be cooked salmon. It had a lot of sauce and meat. This was my favorite roll. 5/5 -Spicy scallop roll : Not spicy at all and scallops were chopped into pieces. 4/5 -Pad Thai roll : this was okay, shrimp were chopped into pieces, the wrap skin was a carb 3/5 Tuna Bowl $15 : a big bowl with a lot of rice and avocado . It's a pretty standard raw tuna bowl Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Boba $4.75 - mediocre jasmine milk tea. I asked how long ago they made this because it looked like it's been sitting there for a while. They said they just made it but when I ate the boba, it was mushy and felt like it was made a while ago. The service was great, I think the owner or manager was the one assisting us on our order. FOOD ORDERED: Chicken Tikka Masala (in a bowl, with white rice instead of brown) -- 8/10. The chicken could have stayed on the grill for an extra minute or two. The Tikka Masala curry was phenomenal -- had the right spices, perfect amount of tomato sauce, and quite strong! The curry was contrasted with a white yogurt raita, which contrasted quite well with the umami-ness and the curry. Love the mints and cilantro, made it look very refreshing. The marinated and pickled cucumbers, I felt, had hints of sesame oil. The pickled cabbages were a great addition to its refreshing dish. Overall, it was a great balance of the strong flavors of the curry and yogurt, and keeping the refreshing profile of the dish. *I have had this multiple times. The pickling of the cabbage can be inconsistent. The white rice can sometimes be too soggy. The curry was pretty consistent throughout. My boyfriend and I first tried World Wrapps at their Corte Madera location a few weeks ago and were so very impressed. We kept talking about the next time we'd be able to go across the bridge to have it again... until a friend told us there was a location even closer! We made plans to go to the Chestnut street location asap! Our excitement was high and remained high through our entire time there. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap this time and my boyfriend, the samurai salmon. He loved it so much the first time, he wanted to get it again. We both loved our wraps and were just as pleased, if not more, than the first time we went. As far as service, it was just as great as our food. We were greeted upon entering and the manager checked on us pretty frequently. He even offered me more dressing and seemed to always know what I needed, before I could ask. After today's experience, we're still so impressed with World Wrapps and seeing as to how many others we still have to try on their menu... we are looking forward to our next time back! read more
