My boyfriend and I first tried World Wrapps at their Corte Madera location a few weeks ago and were so very impressed. We kept talking about the next time we'd be able to go across the bridge to have it again... until a friend told us there was a location even closer! We made plans to go to the Chestnut street location asap! Our excitement was high and remained high through our entire time there. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap this time and my boyfriend, the samurai salmon. He loved it so much the first time, he wanted to get it again. We both loved our wraps and were just as pleased, if not more, than the first time we went. As far as service, it was just as great as our food. We were greeted upon entering and the manager checked on us pretty frequently. He even offered me more dressing and seemed to always know what I needed, before I could ask. After today's experience, we're still so impressed with World Wrapps and seeing as to how many others we still have to try on their menu... we are looking forward to our next time back! read more

My friend and I were hungry looking for food and I saw they had sushi wrap rolls which reminded me of Sushiritto. I decided to try this place to see how the quality compares . Shareable rolls - 3 different rolls for $17 -Salmon roll : I was not expecting this to be cooked salmon. It had a lot of sauce and meat. This was my favorite roll. 5/5 -Spicy scallop roll : Not spicy at all and scallops were chopped into pieces. 4/5 -Pad Thai roll : this was okay, shrimp were chopped into pieces, the wrap skin was a carb 3/5 Tuna Bowl $15 : a big bowl with a lot of rice and avocado . It's a pretty standard raw tuna bowl Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Boba $4.75 - mediocre jasmine milk tea. I asked how long ago they made this because it looked like it's been sitting there for a while. They said they just made it but when I ate the boba, it was mushy and felt like it was made a while ago. The service was great, I think the owner or manager was the one assisting us on our order. Rating scale: 1/10 = Extremely dissatisfied. 5/10 = Average 10/10 = Absolutely spot on; no negative critiques. FOOD ORDERED: Chicken Tikka Masala (in a bowl, with white rice instead of brown) -- 8/10. The chicken could have stayed on the grill for an extra minute or two. The Tikka Masala curry was phenomenal -- had the right spices, perfect amount of tomato sauce, and quite strong! The curry was contrasted with a white yogurt raita, which contrasted quite well with the umami-ness and the curry. Love the mints and cilantro, made it look very refreshing. The marinated and pickled cucumbers, I felt, had hints of sesame oil. The pickled cabbages were a great addition to its refreshing dish. Overall, it was a great balance of the strong flavors of the curry and yogurt, and keeping the refreshing profile of the dish. *I have had this multiple times. The pickling of the cabbage can be inconsistent. The white rice can sometimes be too soggy. The curry was pretty consistent throughout. A cautionary tale... just go somewhere else. I ordered the Furikake Salmon Wrap.. and it was mediocre at best. First of all the "wrap" isn't closed, so it's open on both ends and completely falls apart if you try to hold it and it eat it like a burrito or something. The 'sushi rice' is hardly seasoned, and it comes with so much lettuce in the middle that's just all wilted and gross. The salmon filet is baked, not seasoned. It was pretty tender so I'll give it that, at least it was soft and fresh tasting. But other than that, there's nothing remarkable in this wrap. The pickled radish or whatever inside is strangely bitter and the avocado was mushed and smashed on the bottom, adding to the overall mushy mess. To top it off, it's $1 extra for furikake... it's CALLED a furikake salmon wrap and there's none included. I also got the ube horchata. A pretty color, but really light on the actual ube. I would not go back for $22. read more

Anytime I find myself on Chestnut without a plan, I find myself here at World Wrapps. Their meu does change somewhat randomly, but most of the time they have giant (I mean hugeX3) rice paper wraps that you can put bowls or salads in instead of the wheat wrap. They are great about substitutions (i.e. shrimp for chicken) and everything is amazing. I like to order the thai chicken wrap in rice paper and swap chicken for shrimp. It is packed with flavor and will fill you up without making you feel bad because of the clean ingredients. This is a great option instead of a sandwich for your gluten-free friends when spending the day drinkin and boolin at Fort Mason. Don't forget to add Siracha (RIP) or some of the vinegar sauce they give you on the side. It is also pretty nice to eat outside on a hot day. read more
