Wow Turkey is a must try! It seems fairly new but this restaurant is here to stay. This place has such a beautiful interior and even has a patio. Ambiance is a 10/10. Perfect for date night or girls night. The staff here are so kind and are very knowledgeable about the menu. We got some great recommendations from our server. The food came out quickly and was so delicious. I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu!

The restaurant is beautiful! Definitely a good choice for date night. I went to lunch with my friend and we enjoyed everything from the food, ambiance and service. I had the mojo turkey and I literally said wow when it came out. Definitely enough for 2 people. I can't wait to return.

I'm sorry, but this experience was disappointing. I'm not sure if I visited on an off day, but the food was not good. The seafood was mushy, the pasta had no flavor, and the turkey leg lacked seasoning and even a smoky flavor. The oysters were charred to perfection but had no flavor at all. The restaurant is nice, and the staff was friendly, but the air conditioning was not working, which made the experience even less enjoyable. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the drinks. Based on this experience, I don't think I'll be returning.

Visited here for Mother's Day! Definitely will be back had a limited menu. I had the Mojo stuff led turkey leg. The turkey leg meat fell off the bone. And our server Johnathon was spectacular! The scenery was top notch left no room for complaints. Definitely recommend 10/10

I was walking past the former Ugly Dog and the Wow Turkey food truck was operating out front... Apparently they will get the inside of the restaurant going on April 13. I chatted with the owner for a bit and he gave me a "little" sample to taste... It is delicious! Smoky, tender, and a sweet spicy sauce. Highly recommend!

Soooo you can tell that they were newly opened. The servers definitely seem inexperienced. We sat down and we weren't greeted for about 10min or so and the only reason we did was because the manager was doing his due diligence and walking the restaurant. The server couldn't give us any real recommendations. He basically said everything we asked about was good. We got the sliders. Definitely not what we expected. It was more like slop. Like mushed turkey and gravy. We also got the mojo turkey leg. The pasta itself on the turkey leg was great. They definitely have decreased the amount of pasta u get with it tho because the portions seemed smaller than the previous pics and reviews we've seen. The turkey leg itself was very tender. Literally falling off the bone. I couldn't take any smoky flavor in the turkey leg and the turkey leg itself wasn't seasoned. They also only offered one dessert which was a bread pudding. I will say the manager was doing a good job to make sure to check in with everyone so that's a plus. Overall it wasn't horrible but it wasn't amazing either. I wouldn't go back but it's worth trying it out at least once. I think they are still working out the kinks. With time they will be booming.

The texture reviews had me second guessing myself at the door but I'd read enough to know Acme was the place to take the leap. Started with a half dozen charbroiled oysters -- strategic, just in case and immediately wanted to order another round. Showed restraint and explored the menu instead, landing on the catfish po'boy which was equally satisfying. No regrets but the oysters were absolutely the moment. The line outside makes complete sense. The food, the service, the ambiance it all feels authentically New Orleans even sitting in the middle of the tourist district, which is honestly harder to pull off than it sounds. This one has officially made the must return list for every future New Orleans trip. Already looking forward to it.

I got the fried peace maker po-boy and it was delicious! The fried shrimp and oyster wasn't greasy and tasted fresh. My sister got the New Orleans medley, which was okay. We preferred the gumbo, which was very flavorful. The jambalaya was a little dry for our preference and the rice and beans lacked flavor. My dad got the gator bites which were also really good! We also appreciated the options they had for vegetarians - my mom got the veggie burger and sweet potato fries and enjoyed both. She also had a shellfish allergy and they took great care regarding cross contamination.

I highly recommend the fried okra -- the best I've ever had -- along with the creamed corn appetizer, crab noodles, spicy shrimp noodles, and baked drum. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was warm and attentive, and every dish showcased just how incredible the seafood is. We started with the tuna crudo, which was incredibly fresh. We also shared the spicy ground shrimp over pasta, and it was unlike anything I've had before. Oddly enough, it reminded me of Cincinnati chili in the best possible way. rRch, comforting, and packed with flavor. For the main dish, we had the baked drum, which was cooked perfectly and served with stewed okra. The fish was outstanding, and the flavors throughout the dish were balanced and delicious. We also shared the grilled zucchini. It was a bit overcooked, which made it soft, but the flavor was still excellent. Overall, this was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Beautiful restaurant, outstanding service, and memorable food. I would absolutely come back the next time I'm in New Orleans and highly recommend it.

As soon as they arrived, I picked one up and immediately thought, "Wow, this is incredibly light." Anyone who eats crabs regularly knows that's usually a bad sign. When I opened it, it was completely hollow inside--nothing but an empty shell. A crab that is hollow like that was dead before it was cooked. I never took a single bite. I showed it to our server, Remy B., who apologized and said she would let the manager know. She took the plate away, so I assumed the issue was being handled. When the bill arrived, I was still charged for the crabs. I asked to speak with a manager and explained exactly what happened. She confirmed that I had notified the server and that the plate had been taken away. Then she told me that it didn't matter because their policy is to not give refunds or remove food from a check. Let that sink in: they acknowledged that I didn't eat the food, acknowledged that the server removed it, and still charged me for it. A restaurant standing behind its food is the bare minimum. Charging customers for food that was clearly unacceptable and never eaten is ridiculous. The lack of concern from management was even more disappointing than the crab itself. The only reason this review isn't 1 star is because the young man at the host stand was friendly, professional, and the one bright spot of the entire experience.

I ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was around $22, and was surprised it didn't come with fries. Usually places either include them or at least mention that they're separate when ordering. We also started with the charbroiled oysters, and whatever topping or seasoning was on them had this weird crunchy, crackling texture that literally felt like it was cracking against my teeth when I bit into it. I don't know if it was burnt cheese or what, but I personally could not eat more than one. The service also wasn't great during our visit. After our food was dropped off, our waiter never checked back in. I had ordered fries separately once I realized they didn't come with the sandwich, but after waiting about 10 minutes with no update, I finally got up and walked to the bar to cancel them because I was almost done eating at that point. Maybe we came at an off time, but overall it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for and probably not somewhere we'd return.
