The service is excellent. The selection of food is incredible. I have been there three times and twice left and purged my entire meal within 20 minutes. Is it just me? Who knows. I tried on my third trip to be very careful to not over indulge but still could not hold it down. Here is my guess. While the food looks good there is always an off taste to everything. Even the ice tea is bitter. Don't eat the oysters, while they don't have an off smell they just don't taste like the sea. The sashimi looks fresh who knows how long they have been sitting on the tray. It is a great idea just be very selective in your choices. I watched some people make complete pigs of themselves. They piled crab legs on the plate leaving little for other diners. Sitting close to the display they grab more at each fresh replenishment before anyone can get any. Just disgusting. I guess they want to get their $20 worth. It is a buffet so eat at your own peril. read more

My wife and I visited here yesterday for the first time. The service was friendly and attentive to our table. They were swift to sweep away our empty plates so we could go for a second round. It was Saturday at about 5:30 and there were plenty of people there but it wasn't too crowded. You knew there was enough people to keep the buffet fresh and replenished. We have been to the bistro on Miller Valley Rd several times and love the food. It's handy and quick if you are making a run to Home Depot right next door. This was originally an Outback Steakhouse years ago. Then it was an Irish Pub. Then the location went dormant for a few years until WZ Asian Buffet came in. Our experience here at the buffet was good. It wasn't loud and chaotic like a lot of buffet locations. With tip we were under $50. There is a lot of selection of sea food and chicken dishes. The beef seems a bit limited. Be sure to go to the back of the buffet where you will find roast beef selections. The flavors are good. My wife ate the baked salmon. It was good but nothing to rave about. I had several selections of chicken-bourbon, orange and sweet and sour. They were all flavorful and good. The fried rice was fresh, fluffy and tasty. The noodles were fresh and flavorful. The dessert items, however, are not very flavorful especially if you are used to our American sugary desserts. There are plenty of choices of treats. These are definitely lower sugar content and most likely better for you. However, I think they will satisfy your dessert desires. I am sure we will be back again. read more

This place just opened by my aunt and uncle's house in Prescott, AZ. I'm from California, so most of the food I've had between LA and here has been just... OK. Not too many great food options in cities like Laughlin, Kingman, and Lake Havasu. Anyway, this place was nicely lit, clean, plenty of seating and you can tell it's family owned. The way the staff and servers were constantly observing those around them to see what else they could do was impressive. They had a variety of choices like chow mein, fried rice, chicken teriyaki, cooked and raw seafood options, like sushi. They also have almond cookies and lots of smaller portioned desserts. We liked this place so much that we went for dinner and then for lunch a couple of days later! So good!!! read more

We went to this buffet Sun. evening 11/9. At this time there are no extra charges on the bill. We paid for 2 buffet meals, 2 drinks, and tax. We added a tip we thought was reasonable for service. There were hardly any diners there. If the added tip and service fee have kept you away, try this buffet again. read more

I don't not like this place. Food was mediocre. The food that was fried all tasted the same. Desserts all tasted like banana flavored???? Why! We went after a storm and the roof was dripping!! Overall my experience was just okay. On the plus side, the restaurant was impeccably clean, which is pretty rare for a Chinese buffet. This buffet is on the smaller side, but despite the size the buffet had plenty of options, with something for everyone. Now the food, this was a bit of a let down. Some dishes, like the soups, weren't held at the right temperature, and I even had a spring roll that was still frozen in the middle. These issues really took away from the overall experience. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. While the clean atmosphere and variety were good, the food quality left much to be desired. Next time I'm craving Chinese food, I'll probably look for a different place. read more

Excellent everything I tried was good; there wasn't anything I'd wished I hadn't gotten. The service was great too. Drinks never dropped past halfway before the waitress was asking what we'd like for a refill. Anything in the buffet that started to get low was refilled as it got to around the 20% mark. Prices were reasonable considering all the crab, shrimp, and seafood were all you could eat and generous. All the staff were very polite and friendly. Definitely coming back again. read more

For the love of Pete, do not attempt to eat here. The fried food selections were stone cold and inedible (think tempura, dumplings, egg rolls, fried rice, etc.). The sushi, which you would think was a safe bet, consisted of stale rice topped with fish/seafood that was like rubber with no discernable taste. The baked salmon was floating in a greasy sauce of some sort that tasted so off, that I discretely deposited my first and only bite into my paper napkin to avoid gagging. The deserts had been sitting out for so long, you could hardly pierce them with a fork. How anyone could give this place a four or five star review is beyond comprehension. I joined some friends to get together for a birthday celebration , according to the sign by the door people who celebrate their birthday , as well as those 85yrs old and older eat free , they also give discounts to seniors over 65 . Unfortunately if you come with 6 or more people they give you 1 bill and only give 1 discount , plus they charge 15% additional for groups over . This place is awesome! They not only had sushi but unagi which my partner was thrilled with ...she's from NY and hard to please when it comes to her sushi. I like the teriyaki stuff more and they sure had a LOT of choices! The hot and sour soup was delicious. My only critique of these buffets is that they need to clean the bathrooms more often. Other than that we were impressed and especially with the pot of hot jasmine tea ... delicious! We were very pleasantly surprised by the new WZ Asian Buffet. There was abundant seafood (crab legs, shrimp cocktail, sushi and sashimi), Chinese food, steak and salmon. For Prescott, we didn't think that was bad at all. Everything we tasted was good. The only thing missing was a soft serve ice cream machine, which is the norm at most buffets. The prices were very reasonable as well, $13.99 for lunch and $18.99 for dinner. The place was already PACKED when we arrived at 3 pm inbetween the lunch and dinner crowds, although we were seated fairly quickly, in about 10 minutes. By the time we left at 4 pm, there was a long line of people waiting for tables. read more

oh my god how awful. My wife wanted to try this place,and what a mistake it was. Not one item was hot except the soup. Everything was cold and greasy, dried out and at some point very over cooked. It was prime lunch time on a friday. The sushi bar looked like a vacation resort for flies. some of the deserts were ok, but even the cans of whipped cream were just sitting on the edge of the hot tables, not under refrigeration. Seriously someone from the department of health should go here and temp test everything before someone gets really sick. Even my glass of water tasted and smelled like very strong iodine. The food was terribly salted. There was a wide selection, but it was not worth the money. The ambiance was ok, as was ther service. The water, bathrooms and ice cream was good, the rest too salty. I started to have second thoughts about this place as I walked in. I pay attention to cleanliness, and the door didn't appear to have been cleaned in a long time and the carpets were dirty. The food did not look appetizing and also had second thoughts about eating the sushi and should've followed my intuition. I hate to leave negative reviews but... I will never return here. The restaurant just did not feel clean. My mom created a dish at the hibachi grill and said the veggies tasted like chemicals. I just went for sushi since I can usually do a lot of gluten free stuff under the umbrella of sushi. I called ahead and they said they had many GF options and GF soy. Do not let the photos on Yelp fool you; There was no nigiri or sashimi, only rolls. I asked the sushi chef and the manager whether they put tempura flakes into the spicy rolls. They said no, just salmon. I asked a few times. I took 1 bite of my spicy salmon roll and could tell there were tempura flakes in it. When I asked the manager she kept repeating that there was no tempura in the spicy salmon until the chef held up a box containing tempura flakes, saying these go into the spicy salmon. At which point she changed her story and said that there were "crunchies" in the roll. I immediately paid for my mom's meal and tea (they were kind enough to take mine off the bill but I had only eaten 2 pieces before I had to run out of there for benedril). I stopped in on a Friday afternoon around lunchtime. The restaurant is well lit in the serving areas and comfortably lit where the dining areas are. The hostess sat me quickly and explained how the buffet worked. A server stopped by to get my drink order. I headed off to the buffet area and was surprised by the variety! Most Chinese food items were there and more! I had seafood soup, egg rolls, kung pow chicken, broccoli beef, orange, chicken, dim sum, sweet & sour chicken, green beans, and some nice custard for desert. Everything was very good and the lunch was $20 with drink. A great value! I will be coming back, but next time I'll be skipping breakfast! read more

I will echo a few other reviews, and I will go another time to see if I find improvement. The facility is good location, good size, accessible, clean and has tables and booths. Staff seemed large and were ready to respond to questions and requests. Price was not an issue. The ice cream cups in freezer were a nice change from soft serve machines that seem to go on the blink! Vanilla, chocolate & strawberry. The soups were also good and piping hot. We were there for lunch at opening time. We have used buffets a lot, Asian & others. Here is the problem. Hot dishes should have been recently prepared, and should have been fresh and at the proper serving temperature. This was not the case. I wanted to try many favorites, I could not eat room temp egg fu yung, so that was a bad choice. Stir fry veg and meat dishes were also lukewarm. I have seen buffets where a manager is checking temps during meal service. I assume that is the norm as management and health department requires. I want to be clear - the food was tasty, it was just not the correct serving temperature. We will try again and see how the next visit is. read more

This food was just plain gross. Soups loaded with thickener, meats taste like they have been sitting there all day, even though they haven't. Desserts are strange and mostly bland or dried out and the seafood is overcooked or dried out too. I only enjoyed two dishes, the dimsum/pitstickers were good and the imitation crab was good....thats it. As far as the salad...I did not try it. Maybe their strategy is if the food tastes bad, then people won't eat as much. Service was decent, but the usual aloof demeanor one gets at chineese resturants. Pricing was high considering the poor quality of the food. I gave this resturant a second chance as I thought it was bad the first time. I should have trusted my instincts.
