Shame on this restaurant group for not being prepared for a busy weekend with a concert at Fenway. Running out of liquor was a nice touch. Much better than your normal hotel restaurant experience. Had the boneless wings (whiskey pepper + Asian sauces) and both were good! Garlic noodles were good as well... definitely recommend especially if staying at the hotel and wanting to find a quality spot to watch the games (plenty of TVs!). read more

This is quite possibly the most unprofessional experience I have had with management staff. We recently visited and were seated by the lovely hostess at the bar, after she checked with the bartender. About two minutes after we sat and the bartender greeted us, the manager came up to us interrogating us if we sat ourself because he needed to set up service bar. When I replied that the hostess sat us there and told us to get up and go back to the hostess stand and get re-sat somewhere else. Rather than seating us at one of the MANY empty seats around us. When I stood there astonished in the tone and manner in which he spoke to us, he yelled at me to return to the hostess stand or leave. I worked in the industry for 15 years and have never seen a manager treat guests so poorly and unprofessionally nor would I ever do that to a guest. I been for 8 days staying at the Marriott here, and they are super understaffed at he Yard house. You order food and they forget so you have to ordered about 3 times. If you are at the bar it will take you a lifetime just to get acknowledge. Food comes cold so its kind of not the best. Love Yard House, but this location needs help from corporate. Spinach dip was soo good ! I got the Maui pineapple chicken, it was good and sauce was a nice touch but broccoli had absolutely no seasoning. Chicken sandwich was good and coleslaw was good. Service was nice once you can get ahold of your server. Ambiance is nice even though you are at a mall. Odd If they sit you on the outskirts and you have people standing behind you while you eat. We ordered takeout and over the phone asked for the vegetarian wings, a mushroom pizza and Cobb salad. Had already explained we were looking for a vegetarian meal twice. I arrived and the order had a pepperoni pizza on it. The woman at the front desk's words were 'your wife should've known a mushroom pizza has pepperoni on it. The Cobb salad had bacon. Yard house was super fun with a big group. Definitely get the half yard of whatever beer you want! The nachos were just ok, but I really enjoyed my hot chicken sandwich. Not really spicy but the chicken was crispy and juicy. They also do late night half priced apps, which is always great on a night out in Fenway. Will definitely come back! read more

We stayed at the hotel with anticipation of having great food. We will stay at the Marriott Copley again as the location is amazing We are at the restaurant as room service 2 separate times. Our order was messed up the first time when asked for certain condiments and also asking for the sauce on the side and that was not done. We thought no harm no foul. We tried to call them several times with no answer by this time we just needed to eat so we could put the family to bed. The following day we had lunch our order was messed up again and several items on the paper menu were actually not available when trying to use the QR code so we had to walk down order the food in person and wait for it which was also super inconvenient. The entire time we saw several items on the Paper menu but not available on the menu. Our final night on Christmas Eve we had a event schedule placed under our door saying the yes house would be open until 1am to accommodate the guests at the hotel who are staying. Our family planned to give it one more try because it was late and the most convenient option. The restaurant we were unable to reach after we ordered our food and waiting 1 hour to find out they were closed. I feel this experience could have been avoided and this brand does not meet the Marriott bonvoy basic guess standards. We have eaten at the yard house restaurants located in other areas of the city and were generally happy with the outcome. I do not feel that this establishment is suitable as a 3rd party vendor. The server dumped an entire beer on my wife, her coat and her purse and shattered the glass and another full beer on the floor at our table. Two things should have happened that did not. First, the staff made no effort to seat us at a different table. We had to tell them we were taking a different table. Second, we should not have been charged for the replacement beers, especially the one that left my wife's face and clothes soaked. At no point did anyone identify themself as a manager to check on us. Accidents happen in restaurants, especially now when they have many new staff. First Calamari came out so over cooked and Chewy it was unbearable, finally found another server and they helped us get another. It was finally hot but still chewy. A bagel is $5.50 and you could have gotten it better at a bagel shop for $3. Overpriced yucky food nothing worse. This place is good for beer/drinks and bar food. I came here twice on my trip. The first time to try it and the second time was because there was a blizzard and it was open and close to my hotel. Service both times was great. Food, as I stated was good. It wasn't great, but it was priced reasonable and there were many options to choose from. There's also a lot of TVs, which is great for watching sporting events. It gets a solid 4 stars. Some people have their expectations too high given their reviews. We are staying at the Marriott Hotel on Copley Square, so we get room service! It's great because we can have anything delivered to our door! We stayed at the Marriott and the Yard House was on the second floor of the hotel. Food wasn't great. We ordered food here three times and each time the food was lacking. Service wasn't great. The food was always late and the host wasn't very nice. Further, one of the times we ordered the small salad and they charged us for a large salad. When I pointed out that we ordered a small one but charged for a large one, we were told we received a large salad so we were rightfully charged a few dollars more. Haylee is one of the poorest and impolite hostess I've ever seen, with zero customer service, coke, arrogance filled attitude, your experience to this place is ruined right from the get go - being a Marriott's highest elite (ambassador), I will be suggesting the hotel to not make this restaurant a part of their property, or have a business relationship. My daughter chose to have her 18th birthday dinner party at Yardhouse, and I don't think I could have been more disappointed. I booked a reservation for 23 people 2 weeks ahead of time and never received a confirmation call. So i called the morning off to confirm, took them a while to locate the reservation but they were finally able to confirm. Fast forward to the time of the party, guests started to arrive and there was no server assigned to us yet. Eventually 2 servers were assigned to our tables. From then it seemed like we were a terrible Inconvenience to them. My sister(36) and I(42) ordered shots, and even after carding us, the waitstaff literally stood at the table making sure that we didn't give the shots to any of the kids. Once we ordered, multiple dishes were wrong or missing. In a 2.5 hour period they never offered us more water, they checked on our party once, without having to be called over and they had awful attitudes. They had the potential to make Great tips on an almost $700 check, but unfortunately they only got the required 20% gratuity. It is a very large bar and sat almost in the middle in front of the first TV on the left. waited a bit to get a beer and then when the food came they sat. a napkin in front of me, never check how I was doing, I tried for 15 min to cash out and no one came down my way. The absolute WORST service! We are staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located. We have had horrible service 3 days in a row and won't be back for the rest of the time we're here. They are so unorganized and a mess. The first night, they messed up our order, and one of the sandwiches was completely different than the one we actually ordered. The second night, we placed a room service order with them, and they never came! I tried calling over and over again after 1 hour had passed, and they never answered the phone. Third night, it says they close at 12 am. We just got back from an event and went to the restaurant around 11:15pm. We were told the kitchen was closed already and we couldn't get food, only liquor at the bar. I also asked them about my order not being delivered the night before - I wanted to make sure my room wasn't charged. Apparently, the manager said they were too busy to come out and help me. WTF!! He should've just politely said to please place orders soon since the kitchen is closing in 30. Why make it weird? I got a tomato soup and the gardein orange chicken (vegetarian option). The tomato soup was a bit sweet for my liking! It sees also very greasy which is odd for tomato soup. This was my first time having the gardein version of their wings which is like a meat substitute for vegetarian and vegans. It was delicious! Now I know what the hype about orange chicken is! The sauce was so yummy and flavorful! The gardein protein was perfectly crispy! I would definitely get this again! It also came with rice which was a nice surprise since that wasn't in the menu description. The waitress that brought it out was nice too and checked in to see it I was doing okay. First and foremost the staff was excellent. We had a young lady as our waitress and it was her first night and she did so well! The environment gave me upscale sports bar vibes. TVs with different sports events on but interesting art pieces woven in throughout as decoration. We started with Miguel's queso which was very very good! Make sure you eat it hot/warm because it's when it tastes best (all the cheese melts beautifully). I ordered the Poke nachos which were delish. They are an appetizer but our waitress said they are a good size enough for one and she was spot on. I was very pleased. My husband ordered the orange chicken. He thought the chicken was okay. It reminded him of the chicken fingers app dipped in the orange chicken sauce. He wasn't too impressed with the rice so most of that stayed on the plate. Overall a pretty good experience and a very nice environment. I should also add we didn't drink then but they have yard size cups for beer! We saw it ordered all over the place. read more
