Experience: Let me just ask for Alexis our server, was so quick with it! They have these signs to turn if you feel like they're not coming at all to your table and I we didn't even need to use it, not ONCE. The drinks were so affordable and delicious, I recommend getting at least one round. Don't bother getting the Dippin Broth if you're sharing as a group of 3 or more there's not enough of it, this includes the Trash Bag with Lobster. HOWEVER grab the Shrimper's Heaven!! Ugh it was so good! Oh and Shrimp and Crab rolls were a nice balance of fresh and light to counteract the heaviness of the fried foods. I'm trying the calamari and ceviche next time! Batter was a bit much but flavor was good.Jennys Salmon and shrimp, highly recommended. The all American burger add avocado delicious. Shrimp New Orleans, shrimp was seasoned well cooked to perfection. The sauce was slightly sweet but overall good. For dessert we had cheesecake, a shockingly large slab of it which I am greatly impressed with!! It was perfect, creamy smooth cheesecake. I will say that I do not like the strawberry sauce and next time I will order it plain. The sauce did nothing for the cake it's so good it stands alone. I am a chef and baker and I would be happy to serve this. The goey box of chocolate lava cake was enjoyed by two and one said hers was too sweet while the other one almost ate the plate haha We had a great time and even stopped in the gift shop. They do validate for parking in there. Got some fun gifts too! I think the only thing our group didn't love was the trivia questions during dinner service. We were directed to a booth seating but we preferred a table. The "manager" asked us to get up because we were at a table for 10. He may need that table. I came here for a day of trot with my Dad. First time trying Bubba Gump at this place and was a bit disappointed. Food was delicious but service needs to improve, the server forgot the silverwares after the main dish arrived. I needed to stand up and ask any server that was there . As soon as we sat down our server, Face, was extremely warm, friendly, and quick in helping us choose our drinks and meals. Every time he came by our table he checked in on us and made sure we were doing ok. The weather was perfect today but we decided to eat inside where there was plenty of space and seating for five comfortably. Stopped into this location of the popular seafood restaurant for lunch on a busy Sunday in downtown Long Beach. The food was good and the service was excellent. Bubba Gump has 21 national locations and 11 international ones, with 6 in California (including the very first one in Monterey in 1996, founded soon after the release of the movie 'Forest Gump' in 1994). I think I've visited three of them (Santa Monica, Times Square, and the now-closed one in Navy Pier Chicago), but strangely never this location that I could just walk to. Traffic was just crazy in this area (typical Sunday that was exacerbated by the Vans Warped Tour happening nearby), so happy that I walked. I put down my name for one at the check-in area around noon, with a promise of 15 minute wait. Sure enough, I got a page on my phone saying it was my time at the 15 minute mark. It's a large restaurant with a lot of dining space, so pretty sure I was the first to sit at my table for the day...pretty sure they were spacing out seatings for the kitchen's sake. Cameron was our waiter, and he was really attentive and cordial. I was planning just to try their gumbo (always been meaning to), but ended up getting a main dish (available because of their 30 year anniversary celebration). The food came out hot, right after it had been plated, soon after I ordered. Mama Blue's Shrimp Gumbo ($11.99 for a bowl) was OK: presented really well, and it wasn't too dark, cooked too long like sometimes gumbo can get. But maybe it was too fresh, with the ingredients being put together right before serving. Lt. Dan's Drunken Shrimp ($29.99) was decent, and it actually looked better than the picture on the menu (which might be a first). The 7 tail-on shrimps had been cooked well, first over an open flame, then presented on top of stone-ground grits with really good onion strings and a dark bourbon sauce. It came with pieces of andouille sausage, which tasted too much like ham to me. The place was hopping on a Sunday afternoon, and the team of servers and cooks were keeping up in this well organized display. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived--our server, IZ, was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. I ordered the clam chowder and the Bam Bam Shrimp, while my wife had the fish and chips. We ordered our food with a basket of garlic bread. The Bam Bam Shrimp wasn't very spicy, but it had great flavor and was definitely worth ordering. The garlic bread was one of the highlights of the meal--buttery, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. The clam chowder had a good flavor, although I would have liked a little more clam and potato in it. Even so, it was still enjoyable. My wife really enjoyed the fish and chips as well. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. Outside seating was perfect for us and our baby. The weather was just perfect and a nice breeze was blowing to keep us cool. For our main entrees wep ordered a shrimp jambalaya soup bowl, strawberry salad and Gumbo soup. All were delivered in 15 mins. I got to say, everything was delicous! The food was made to perfection. Portion size was fair along with the price tag. I recommend this place not only for the food and Drinks but the Ambiance you experience being outside in the patio area. Since its been a few years there has been some menu changes but my goal to options were still there. The restaurant itself is pretty big and has lots of seating areas. We were able to make reservations online which i really liked and helped us skip a wait time. Although it did not look like there was many people waiting anyways. All of the staff we encountered were very nice and our waitress was very attentive. I decided to try their gumbo and jambalaya. The gumbo was good and i was surprised that had lots of seafood including crab and fish. But my favorite was the jambalaya it's always my go to and always has nice flavor with a hint of spicy ness. My partner and I had such a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at Bubba Gump LB! As Landry's members, we were seated quickly despite the long wait. Going in, we knew every restaurant was going to be extremely busy, but with our server Cam we practically didn't notice any difference. He was super friendly and attentive. We never felt like we were missing anything because he was always checking in on us and had a great attitude despite the chaos of the night. I was super impressed by his service. We sat outside and though it was cold, there were heaters that kept us warm and it was nice seeing the night sky and twinkling lights out on the patio. The food was delicious and the portions are very generous. We got the Shrimper's Heaven and Texas Cajun Chicken Sandwich and were very satisfied with the taste and quality, we really had no complaints about our whole experience. We usually visit this location when we come to the Aquarium of the Pacific, which is across from the restaurant. I love Bubba Gump, especially since my family and I are huge fans of the movie Forest Gump. After we were seated, our waiter stopped by to give us our menus. Once we were ready to order, we turned the sign on the table to "Stop Forest Stop," and our waiter came to take our order. It's a fun way to have our waiter stop if we need anything. The service is always excellent here. I ordered Shrimp Heaven, which is one of my favorite dishes there because it's a great way to try different types of shrimp. It comes with fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, tempura shrimp, fries, cocktail sauce, Cajun marmalade, and tempura sauce. All different types of shrimp were delicious. It used to come in cute little separate cones, but they don't anymore. My husband ordered a ribeye steak, which he really enjoyed. The steak came with smashed potatoes and broccoli. My husband shared a piece of his steak with me, and it was really tender and flavorful. My children had a pizza from the kids' menu; it comes with a side, drink, and cookies. The restaurant is so cute! It's filled with a lot of memorabilia from the Forest Gump movie, and every table is different. If you like everything fried, this is apparently your dream plate. For us, it was just a lot of fried food and very little flavor. Then came the shrimp scampi linguine. I honestly don't know how you can make shrimp scampi pasta this bland, but somehow they managed. It was one of the worst pasta dishes I've ever had in a restaurant. And the grand finale? Yesterday, we visited this nostalgic eatery. This family oriented restaurant is a fun place. On the walls adorned the pictures from movie "Forrest Gump," and other memorabilia. This restaurant had seen better days as the food service is slow, as is the wait for someone to take your order. Once the food arrives, it is tasty enough, and piping hot. I had the crab stuffed shrimp which normally comes with rice, but I chose broccoli instead. I should have asked for no butter on my vegetable, but I ate it anyway and it was delicious. We also had calamari to share as an appetizer. It comes with battered red bell peppers and mild peppers with two dipping sauces. Great service for the kids as they all get a balloon. Kids meals come with Goldfish and a replica of the "Jenny" boat from the movie. My guess is that being a weekday, the waitstaff is bear minimum. I'd still visit this place. read more

Called the company and they just denied and denied. Then start being rude to me trying to scare me off. Horrible company offers non clean food with toxins. Now I'm dealing with mattress with kids puke and waste of the dinner $ and a company who is not even willing to admit and apologize. Tried to call the corporate office and no one even answer. I would rate this a 7/10 for flavor, but didn't agree with the price for so little amount of shrimp. You can get WAY more at boiling crab for the same price!
