Visiting Boise area and not a whole lot open late, so we came here for a late night dinner and drinks. It was pretty good. I got the poke salad, which was good. A little on the small side, but good flavors. My SO ordered the nachos and felt Pretty underwhelmed by them. He prefers a beer cheese over a melted cheese on nachos, and they came with melted cheese. There also just wasn't really enough cheese for nachos. They had a lot of red salsa all over them which was a little overwhelming. The bartender did make a really good espresso martini, so that made me happy! It was also nice to see their cleaning process as it just really made you feel that cleanliness is of high priority. They hose down all of their taps nightly. We would probably be back if we needed a a late night meal again, but I don't know that this would make the go-to list. read more

Since moving over to Caldwell for college, whenever my parents come and visit, we want to find somewhere nice, quick, and with good food, and The Yard House in Meridian was perfect. It's located in the middle of a beautiful outdoor mall surrounded by shops. Inside, the restaurant gives off a late-night dinner vibe with music and TVs all around, streaming lots of programs. The seating is close together, and the lighting is dim, so I would keep that in mind when deciding to go here. It has a moderate noise level, but you can still easily hold a conversation with those at your table. We usually have a big group and have tried a lot of options on the menu and have yet to have a complaint. The portions are generous with great flavors. My family, being a big seafood-loving family, got the Poke nachos for an appetizer, and we can't go now without ordering it! Our servers are always super sweet, and don't waste time to get your order in so you can enjoy your food as soon as possible. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to eat out and have a great experience! read more

Went to Yard House today for my birthday. They got rid of what I eat a few weeks ago is what the waiter told me. I ordered a beverage and was told they were out of that. Decided to order a burger and told them well done. Well the outside of the meat was overly done and the inside still pink. My table had 3 orders of burgers and all were not cooked right. They ate there's I didn't. My daughter went to the restroom room and as she was washing her hands one of the girls that sit you down came out of the stall and put the door. never washed her hands! YardHouse is your standard drink & eat spot. Other than the massive list of draft beers, food is standard and nothing over the top exciting. I prefer coming for Happy Hour and having few beers (or Silly Stupid Sours since it's the only spot with it on draft) and couple appetizers to call it a night. I've been to this location several times, and I expect to wait on tables and food as the service is extremely slow. Food always comes out hot and good, but don't come here to eat if you're looking to sit, eat, and go. Plan on a minimum hour dining experience. If you come in with our kids, highly recommend finding spots at the bar to avoid table waiting. Had a great lunch here last Saturday. We were a group of 10, accommodating to us even without reservations. Nancy was our amazing server and she was easily able to put us all on our own bills. What a fantastic place! Location; Yardhouse is located in The Village and is surrounded by fun shops and restaurants. The patio affords a view of the central shopping area plaza. Food/Beverages: There's something for everyone at the Yardhouse. Simple appetizers, pizzas, burgers, colorful and healthy options, poke nachos (a personal favorite) and much more. Of course Yardhouse has 100 beers and ciders to offer, but in addition the bartenders make excellent craft cocktails. Smokey Old Fashioned is a popular order with our group. Service: This is where Yardhouse truly shines. From the managerial staff to their incredible servers, we have always felt welcome and have been served by friendly, genuine and professional waitstaff. I'm starting to get to know all their names! We've literally left Yardhouse a few times talking amongst ourselves, "Was that the best server we've ever had!?" Yard House is always solid - no matter what location you go to, the service and beer selection is always great. I am not a fan of chain restaurants but Yard House does a good job of blending their standard beers while focusing on local beers as well. Outside of that, the menu is great. The items are pricier than a standard gastropub, but the quality is much better too. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! I know there are a few complaints about service, but I have never had an issue here. They do a good job of ensuring the staff isn't overworked and all the staff seems to enjoy working at Yard House. The only reason for 4 stars is the beer takes a while during peak hours. read more

I have been to other Yard House locations, this one has a great patio seating with a view over the Village fountain area. We ordered Jambalaya linguine and Margherita pizza. The pasta was very good, but the pizza sauce was too salty and acidic, and it came with sun dried tomatoes instead of roasted tomatoes as advertised on the menu. That being said they have GREAT vampire tacos, GARLIC NOODLES are amazing, and the nachos didn't last long enough to take a picture, very good. The drinks are amazing, I love the flavored mules, and of course the yard beers. Being located in the village makes it a perfect place for a date night! The lights are beautiful and the shopping is great! Convenient located next to the movie theater and big Al's to compliment a great dinner. I love going to The Village when I'm up in Idaho. Yard House was probably one of the first restaurants in Idaho years ago. I went back recently & grabbed some drinks & appetizers with some friends. It was delicious! First of all, I love their drink selections. They have drinks from local Idaho breweries & also wine, mixed cocktails & everything in between. I tried the blueberry cider from 2 Towns Ciderhouse. I love this company but I haven't been able to find it in Utah. It was pretty good, tarte like berries, but not necessarily blueberries. My sister had the Ace Space blood orange cider & it was beautiful in color & really tasty. We also tried the Morher Earth Cali creamin' creamsicle which my friend Ioved! We grabbed a side salad & my sister & I shared that. It was good, tasted fresh! We shared the Four Cheese Spinach Dip. We thought it had artichokes, but that was us misreading. It was still really good. Dip portion was a little uneven with the amount of chips they give you. We definitely had more chips than dip left over at the the. Two of our friends shared the Firecracker Shrimp. They thought this would be in the form of a sushi roll, but it was not. They will like it, said it had an orange like glaze on the shrimp. Plating was beautiful on this item! Our waitress was really nice. We sat outside. Everything was really clean. Would definitely go back. Had a really bad experience there last night. I love the atmosphere in the yard house but this is probably the last time I'll be back in a while. Ordered a vodka, soda and asked for a splash of pineapple and they said, "no problem". Not evening mentioning that there is an upcharge to my drink to add a "splash of pineapple". Drinks were full of ice and very little alcohol. My companion and I ordered the steak bowl and the portion was very small and we had both ordered the steak medium rare. The pieces came out to well done and it was chewing on very hard meat. The flavor of the dish was good but the meat was really bad. Walked out of there $88 plus tip and both my companion and I were still hungry. Won't be going there again anytime soon. Bummer. read more

I've only been to Yard house 3 times but every time I have gone I have seriously liked it. The Portions are a great size, the first time I got a plate I thought the serving was too small but it is the perfect size to get you full and maybe even have some left overs left. I really like their firecracker shrimp. It comes served on crispy rice, and the seasoning on the shrimp is just right. The location is great, it's right in the middle of the village so you can people watch if you choose outdoor seating and you can have privacy with the indoor seating as well. It's a great atmosphere for me and my friends and we will definitely be coming here more often. read more

I gotta say that before I came to this Yardhouse, I wasn't really a fan of the chain. But this has become my favorite regular happy hour. The beer menu and prices are really fantastic. The appetizers have some real gems too. I'm particularly fond of the Belgian white house beer, poke nachos, and the sliders. The cocktails aren't bad either. Staff is nice and helpful. read more
