Went over Mid Day to meet my wife for lunch. Parked in the Mall Parking (Yard House does provide validation) Nice big restaurant with plenty of seating, and TV's showing sports. Menu is prettt diverse and they have a great happy hour(unfortunately I was too early to partake) I ordered some Birria Tacos Vampire Style(cheese crusted shell) and. Moon Time IPA Tacos were flavorful and packed with a tasty Birria along with a tasty Cosome for dipping. The accompanying rice and beans were very flavorful. The beer was a nice refreshing IPA that paired with the Tacos quite well. Service was very quick and I felt well taken care of. I really like the whole ambiance of the place and its always a great hang, be it in a group, or just to watch some sports.
Absolutely love this spot. If we have family visit from out of town, I'd probably bring them here. Always seems to be a lively atmosphere, especially on Kings game days. Waitstaff are upbeat and outgoing. Food is phenomenal as well. After a series of duds, Yard House feels like a safe bet for a great time.
We dined at Yard House after attending my son's graduation at Golden One. The place was packed and we had to wait almost an hour for a table for 7 people. They do not take reservation. Luckily, the service was quick after we sat down and food kept on coming. The only disappointing thing was that they ran out of pizza dough, so we didn't get to try any of the pizza. I was looking forward to the Mushroom Truffle Pizza. We got a bunch of dishes to share. My favorite was the Poke Nachos. Generous portion with extra crispy chips. Tuna was fresh. The sauce was delicious with a mild kick. The avocado and jalapenos made the dish even better. I would also get the Crispy Brussel Sprouts again. It was tossed in a sweet gochujang sauce. Mildly spicy and addicting. The Fried Calamari was also a hit. Nicely fried served with marinara and tartar sauce. A large menu of drinks. I believe it's also a full bar too. Everyone was happy with their wine and beer selection. I had a mango refresher and it was perfect! Great place for large parties. Happy Hours from 3-6 PM with a selection of dishes half off and discount on wine, beer and cocktails.
Stopped by Yard House for happy hour and had a great experience! The service was friendly and attentive, the happy hour deals were definitely worth it, and the drinks were delicious. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a few small things that could have been a little better, but overall I'd definitely come back for the drinks, good service, and happy hour specials. Poke nachos are a MUST! The restaurant was dimly lit, not too busy, and overall a nice place to wind down after work.
Thursday night, around 10PM. The hostess at the front misinformed us when we asked if they still were doing Late Night Happy Hour. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, only to find out that regular dine-in Happy Hour (1/2 off select apps & all pizzas, and $2-$4 off discounts on drinks) was Mon-Fri 3-6PM, and the Late Night Happy Hour was only Sun-Wed from 10PM-close. Decided to stay and just order from the full menu which was still available until late, sharing the Chicken Nachos between 3 people. This was massive and loaded with pinto beans, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, guac, sour cream, jalapenos (requested on the side), guajillo chile, chipotle & tomatillo sauces. Tabletop tablet to order and pay. They do validate parking for the DOCO garage though. Next time, if in the area, I would probably try TOM's Watch Bar for late night offerings instead.
First time at Yard House. Came in right before the dinner rush. We were seated immediately. The food was decent. Nothing extraordinary or amazing about it. The drinks were delicious! Definitely a place you want to stop if you want to watch sports and be close to the SAP Center. Chill and laid back.
The service was friendly, however it took over a hour to get our main dishes. The burger was kinda small, blue cheese crumbles were small & low amount, thank goodness I added pepper jack cheese. It doesn't come with mayo, so I'm glad I added mayo, bbq, aioli sauce on side. The arugula was welted on the burger , I'm not sure how I feel about that tbh, I rather a different type of lettuce. In my opinion they only added the arugula to make the burger sound fancy so they can charge over $25 for it The wings were $20 for 10. They were crispy, large, sticky, and amazing! 10 outta 10! Right amount of glaze and so pretty The Gaelic fries were yummy, the fry portioning was super generous, the seasoning was great, the fries were thick & not greasy. I asked for extra garlic. However they could have been better had there been Parmesan cheese graded over it. So I'll ask for that next time. Fries were 8 outta 10 The lobster/shrimp pasta was absolutely NASTY. If you are seafood/pasta lovers then do not waste your $38 on this soupy, spongy noodle, salty, not enough spinach, couple pieces of tiny mushroom having ass noodles the brown sauce they use it PURE SALT, these noodles taste like the Oriental Manchren Top Ramen noodles ....the picture shows big lobster claws on the pasta..mannnnn we got 1 arm as shown on the picture, and maybe 6 pieces of unseasoned shrimp. This location the water is HARD, so all their sodas and lemonades taste like a**! The music is loud inside, but it's a bar inside so I understand.
I have eaten here before and it's pretty mid so I knew what I was getting into. Today checked in at Yard House at 12:14 PM to watch the World Cup. We completely understood that it was going to be busy and were told the wait for 2 people would be about 30 minutes. We know the staff can't make people leave or perfectly predict wait times, and that's understandable. All I ask is for honest, realistic expectations. After about 45 minutes, I checked on our place in line because I hadn't seen many tables turning over and they said there were still a wait. 1 hour after checking in, I asked another staff member, who told me there were still 15 parties ahead of us. At that point, it was clear we weren't going to get seated anytime soon. Since we came specifically to watch the World Cup, there was no point in standing around missing the game, so we left and watched it at home instead. The most frustrating part was that I didn't receive a text saying our table was ready until 3:05 PM--nearly three hours after we checked in. That shows the original 30-35 minute estimate wasn't even close. If we had simply been told the wait was likely an hour and a half or longer, we could have made an informed decision instead of wasting an hour standing around.
Great selection of beers on tap and a large food menu but the lacking service killed those positives. We were seated right away and our waiter got our drink orders out pretty quickly then we kinda got ghosted for the remainder of the time. Getting refills was damn near impossible. My husband ordered a beer and we watched it sit on the bar for 10 minutes waiting for someone to grab it and deliver it. We never got checked back up on once our food was delivered and again, took forever to get to go boxes. I had the Cobb salad with chicken, no complaints other than it needed more dressing. The espresso martini was kissing the garnish. And the sliders were super pink. I probably wouldn't come back for food service. Maybe just sit at the bar and have a beer.
We stopped on for a late lunch and we just made it before the rush of the Ice Skating show. The service was great. Our server was attentive and personable. The food was fresh and hot with such flavor. We enjoyed the onion ring tower because it wasn't overly greasy and the added touch of Parmesan brought it to another level. The breading was light which I appreciated. We shared a stacked turkey club. It was a large enough portion for 2 adults. Their fries are just the right enough crispiness. It became quite busy but not overly noisy
Surprisingly unexpected, something for everyone! Very crowded and busy; lively and spacious. We had to wait for 25 minutes for a table. Server was very friendly and checked in us, refilling our waters and seeing if we needed anything. Great, attentive service. Surprisingly, the menu offers many options that I wouldn't expect but we decided to get some appetizers, first. We had Miguel's Queso and the Parmesan Truffle fries. The queso was so flavorful. The truffle fries were so crispy. Great appetizers! Shortly after, our entrees arrived -- we had the Jambalaya, Lobster Garlic Noodles and Steak Bowl. Portions are so large, very delicious. I ate half of my meal, it was so huge but I enjoyed the meal very much! As it's loud and crowded; with televisions all around; it's a lively spot to hang out and grab a bite to eat. There is something for everyone -- very delicious! Yard House exceeded my expectations; would highly recommend!
We stopped here after a concert and I'm glad we did. The staff works very hard and quick. Even on a really busy night, I still felt my needs were met and we were checked in on plenty. I like the atmosphere of this place and the music. The food was so tasty and I can't wait to come back and try more things. My fiancé and I both literally went "Mmmhh" when biting into our food. I got a bacon cheeseburger and he got the grilled chicken sandwich. Lots of flavor!
The food here is extremely plain and honestly pretty flavorless. I don't eat American food very often, but if this is what it's supposed to represent, then it definitely fits the stereotype--safe, bland, and afraid of seasoning. Everything tasted intentionally toned down, as if strong herbs or bold flavors were avoided altogether. The ingredients felt basic, and the quality did not justify the prices at all. It had been several years since my last visit, and I suggested Yard House for a family lunch mainly because it's convenient for large groups with different preferences. In that sense, it works. We had a party of 8 with no reservations and only waited about 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn't packed and was comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing across the board. The mocktail had a strange bittersweet taste that I didn't enjoy for something non-alcoholic. The onion rings were just bad--soft, barely any texture, and zero crispness, which defeats the entire purpose of onion rings. The sauce didn't help. The garlic noodles were just okay and probably the best thing I had, but even then, they weren't memorable and definitely not worth the price. My husband ordered a burger that sounded great on paper--the ingredients made it seem delicious and worthwhile. Of course, I had to take a bite, and even he agreed with me that it was tasteless. The bacon was soft, the burger itself was nothing special, and despite being hungry, he couldn't dig into it like he normally would because it was so mediocre. Our server was nice but clearly inexperienced--flustered, disorganized, and forgetful (we asked for salt and it never came). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you enjoy flavorful food or like trying new things. This feels like a restaurant for people who are comfortable ordering the same safe items every time and don't mind bland flavors. It's fine if you need a place to sit a large group, but beyond that, there's nothing here that would make me come back. I'd rather go to BJ's Brewhouse next time.
Came here for a work bonding dinner this was my third time here, we ordered lots of appetizers the brussel sprouts were delicious with a little spice we also ordered the chicken wings they were really dry and over cooked, we ordered the fried calamari it was pretty good not rubbery at all no flavor, ordered the cheese curds were crispy and good a little salty but it cheese lol, ordered the Asian tacos they were ok. I ordered a whiskey burger and fries the fries were good but the burger was terrible I had to send it back but they took it off the bill, also another co worker ordered a burger and it had a little piece of metal from the grill brush i was so shocked she had to send it back i felt so bad for her. We ordered beers and drinks they were pretty good. Inside is still nice with lots of seating the bathroom was clean. Out of all the three times ive been here this was the worst experience. read more

Me and some friends went to eat at Yard House. When we entered the restaurant there will be a wait because it was a popular night. Once we were seated the waiter took our drink and food order. I ordered a chicken and avocado sandwich with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious and very tasty. The fries were fresh and crispy. The service was great and the ambiance was customer friendly. A great thing is the restaurant does validate your parking. read more

I love the location as this is conveniently located across from the Kimpton Sawyer hotel, and the Golden 1 Center where the Sacramento Kings play. Typical Yard House vibe and service, which is generally good, one of my favorite spots when I travel if they have a Yard House in town, I generally like to and pop in for a quick meal and a good drink read more

Hands down every time I come here I enjoy my meal and drink. My margarita is always perfect as well as their appetizers and food. The servers are always attentive and quick to serve and suggest. I have tried 3 different locations- San Jose, Sacramento and Roseville. None have ever let us down. Kudos to all the staff and management. This place is always a great option. :) read more
There were 5 of us dining, some with dietary restrictions, so the orders included the child's meal, which was great, and quite filling with 3 sliders, fries, a salad and a drink. In the past we've had their chicken sandwich and adult size burgers with fries that were hearty and moist. Our server, Kyle, was the best. So attentive, and very nice, making sure we were well taken care of. The manager, John, was also great, making sure we were well taken care of, and spent extra time and made sure everything was right, with the new updated child's menu. We appreciate them both very much, and enjoyed our experience at the Yardhouse. read more
Spicy Jambalaya w pasta - there's a bit of a spicy kick but it's not overpowering, sauce has strong Cajun flavor and is really creamy, shrimp and sausage are a bit overcooked, definitely super filling bc pasta portion size is huge, definitely shareable Staff super friendly and there was a 10mim wait for our food. Haven't been here in forever so it was nice to see all the new menu items available. We came right at opening so there were no issues with seating or service. I ordered the Korean bbq cheesesteak. I enjoyed the thinly sliced beef, and there was a lot of it, but there wasn't anything cheesy about the sandwich. I didn't get any of the kimchi or cheese flavor, just the beef and gochujang. But otherwise the meat was cooked well which is important. The kids meals had a very generous portion so that was good! It did say it comes with milk and fries but weirdly enough he didn't bring any milk or fries - just a side of fruit. Which ended up being fine since my kids liked the fruit but kinda weird they didn't even ask about the fruit cup choice at all, what if they had allergies to fruit? Overall decent experience, won't be coming out of my way because of the prices and the parking situation but at least there are plenty of menu options to try something else next time! read more

2 stars for friendly staff. Restaurant was located in a mall. Very busy. Parking in garage and charge by the hour. The food was bad. The three cheese pizza tastes like a frozen pizza. Ordered sliders instead with no cheese. They took 30 mins to come out and looked like one of the sliders they put cheese on it but then scrapped it off. The rice was hard and crunchy. Complained to waitress and she replaced it with a " fresh batch" but this time half hard . Only thing good was the onion rings but even that taste horrible once it got cold. read more

Yuri & Andrew amazing waiter and waitress! Super knowledgeable happy and you can tell they enjoy the job! Andrew was at the end of his shift and treated us as if he was going to be the only one helping us. Most cases you can tell the person is thinking well it won't be my tip. Not here though! Pretzel 5-5 Cheesesteak 5-5 Garlic noodles with lobster 5-5 Beer 5-5 Soda 5-5 The establishment was super busy and you could not tell it was busy because the soda stayed refill drinks were refilled and asked if we needed anything more than times than I can count . Our waiter Francisco started off very kind and attentive, especially when he took the time to explain the tequila in the strawberry margarita, which we appreciated. However, the service declined as the evening went on. When we tried to order an additional drink before closing, it was never brought to us, and our truffle fries were also missed. He didn't return to check on us toward the end, which made it feel like we were being overlooked. Overall, the experience began on a positive note but unfortunately fell short due to the lack of follow-through. Ambiance was calm too not a lot of people at all. read more

I honestly wanted to come in for cocktails until I saw the wait staff walk by with a tray. So! One standout item is their Classic Nachos, which come piled high with grilled chicken, melted cheese, black beans, and all of their condiments on the side if asked. The portion is OUTRAGEOUS!! (See image for understanding) Chips are crisp and hold up well under the toppings, though the bottom layer can get very soggy if not eaten quickly. I'd suggest coming during Happy Hour for deals and faster service if you find bar seating. read more

Service was nice and welcoming, was easy to split the check with their system among a large party of people. Clean look inside, definitely meant more as a sports bar than anything else. House Cheesesteak - 7/10 The cheese sauce is very garlicky, which I'm okay with but I can see someone finding unappealing. The meat is a more of a ground beef feeling rather than actual cuts. Seasoned well and for the price got me pretty full. Came with some nice and crispy fries and a pickle. read more
Service - 4.7 Food - 4.6 My brother is in town for a business meeting so after picking him up from SMF. We parked at the DoCo checked him in at the Sawyer, then walked back to the Yard House since he wanted to be able to catch the NBA playoffs. Once inside we get greeted and immediately seated. Our server Valentina greeted us and took our drink & food order. Our seared ahi tuna appetizer came out fairly quickly. The tuna is a generous portion and plated with radish & ginger on top of a ponzu like dressing mixed with wasabi. I don't know if their plate was too warm when plating this since the ahi tasted more cooked than seared and the sauce the ahi was plated had a nice citrus flavor paired with the wasabi placed within the dressing. Our meals followed: 20oz ribeye and Thai Style Pork Chop. The Pork Chop was beautifully plated but when you eyes tell you it tastes good and it really does, it will just make everyone else jealous eating with you (yep, I was jealous!) The cauliflower fried rice complimented the chop since there's a pineapple glaze used. The ribeye didn't disappoint either, cooked medium rare correctly, was under-seasoned which is rare that I mention this since most are overly seasoned; but then you use some of their house sauce placed on the side then magically it makes sense. The house sauce placed in a side cup is on the salty side, after a few small dips with my cuts of ribeye, it was plenty for me during the meal. Broccolini was overcooked as it disintegrated as I cut it up. The parmesan mashed potatoes was dense which help fill you up if you're hungry, if the 20oz ribeye didn't. A limited dessert menu, my bro still ordered the bread pudding which he enjoyed since that's one of his favorite desserts. *Customer service would have been a 5 if we didn't have to ask for refills on our drinks but she immediately corrected her over-site. I look forward to coming back especially when basketball season starts up again for the Kings. read more

I've been to this location twice. Both for work lunches, last time we sat on the patio and this time we sat inside, there were 12-13 of us so we had 2 servers. It was a little chaotic but our food came out quickly and alot of us had separate drink orders etc, I'm sure we were not an easy bunch. I had the chicken wraps which were delicious! There were chunks of chicken and tofu, I would have preferred green leaf lettuce or something crunchier but it did come in a tortilla shell which was crunchy, airy and yummy. For my main I got the Maui Pineapple Chicken. You can't go wrong with pineapple chicken and broccoli. I actually took this home because the lettuce wraps were so filling. Over all, this was a great experience. The place is noisy but it's perfect for just hanging out after work or for a long lunch. read more
Came in today for lunch and ordered a kids meal pepperoni pizza. I chose fries as my side dish. The website is truly misleading with the image of the pizza they're advertising. I have attached pictures of the pizza shown on the website and what I received. Not impressed. My pizza was cold and I did not receive the fries in my order. The lady almost forgot about my drink had I not mentioned it. The server however was very kind and the service was quick. read more

You can't go wrong with Yard House. They have an amazing smoked old-fashioned. They have the stacks they have the good food the ambience it's low lighting so great for a date or just hang out with friends stopping in because you're downtown. The service was really good. We were trying to figure out how to work the little box that you pay onother than that. It was really good. Go check them out. read more
My boyfriend and I came to Yard House for my birthday, which is also Valentine's Day, and had a great experience despite the wait. It was a busy night with a game going on, so we had to wait about an hour to be seated, but it was worth it. Our waiter, Eric, was super nice and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We ordered the 20-ounce steak, Nashville hot chicken, and pancakes, and everything was delicious! My steak (medium well) was cooked perfectly--tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were good, though I added some salt and pepper to match my seasoning preference. The broccoli sprouts were also tasty and complemented the meal well. The Nashville hot chicken and pancakes were surprisingly a great combo! The pancakes were sweet but not overly so, which balanced really well with the chicken. At first, they forgot to bring out the syrup, but once I got it and poured it over the pancakes, it made everything ten times better. The sauce that came with the chicken had a sweet-and-sour flavor, leaning more on the sour side, so I didn't use much of it. But the chicken itself was flavorful, with a nice hint of spice--not too overpowering, just enough to enjoy the heat. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the Grapefruit Pomona--it was actually ass. Definitely used some sort of cheap tequila as the base. Even though the wait was long, the food and service made up for it. Eric's great service and the amazing food made it a memorable night, and I'd definitely come back again! read more

Our server was so nice and helpful, she provided excellent service. we came during midday happy hour and the place wasn't too packed or loud so that was nice, the nachos had enchilada sauce with wasn't tasty but it was a very large portion that we still enjoyed, the calamari was hot and fresh and tasty, the classic sliders were also a perfect addition to our appetizer spread, the margarita was decent as well. We enjoyed our time here, I came with my teenage kids and my niece and we all had a great time and enjoyed this midday snack read more

I've been to Yard House a few times and while it gets the job done, it's not my favorite restaurant in DOCO. We came last night before going to see a movie and the place was packed due to a Kings home game. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for 3 and when the server came over, he asked if the hostess had let us know that they do not do happy hour on game days or when Golden 1 has a concert....I said uh no and then he proceed to say "well there is a sign outside." I think it's pretty ridiculous that they do not offer happy hour on their busiest nights and I do think that the hostess should tell you regardless if they have a sign placed or not. We ordered the Korean Garlic Chili Chicken Wings, Chicken Nachos and the Lemon Pepper Boneless Wings. I loved how crispy the chicken wings were and the garlic aioli that came on the side. The nachos were mid - they definitely looked like they were heated in a microwave and there wasn't much cheese on them. I've ordered a few different items during other visits, but I am always skeptical of restaurants that have ginormous menus - I question how fresh certain foods are. Overall, the food was fine. We always enjoy Yard House but have never been to this location. Perfect game day spot for viewing .... But we were heading to G1C for a game. It was mid day Sunday and had a bit of a wait. Once seated, service was great. We had no drink order and were given water promptly with adequate refills. All parties enjoyed their food. Two in our group had the ahi tuna stack ... loved it. One had the poké nachos.... They were delicious with a generous sprinkling of poké. We went July 4th. They were pretty busy but got seated within 5 min. Hostess was very friendly. We ordered a Cobb salad and chicken lettuce wraps. Our food came out freshly made. Sauces for the lettuce wraps: delicious! It was very loud in there but that's expected. Server was attentive even though he was busy! Visited last night and felt the need to comment on the spicy beef noodles I ordered. This dish could be so great, but the quality of the meat just takes it down to a 4/10. Yes it was THAT bad. I can't tell what cut the beef is but I wouldn't even feed this to my dog with the amount of fat and gristle it had. I had to take all the beef out just now as I'm eating my leftovers and I'm still finding bits of gristle in my noodles. Throwing it out as we speak. I've included a picture of the gristle. We were getting an order to go for a friend that stayed back at the hotel and that order came before our meal about 10 minutes. By the time we left, the place was packed. They have lots of items on the menu that I'd like to try. I probably wouldn't get the filet again. Just didn't have much flavor. I did dip it in the sauce a few times. The potatoes were pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant's policy cutting off the happy hour deals because it was a game night at the Golden 1 center. All of the food was delicious! How busy are you at the bar prior to events at Golden One i.e concert or show?
They are busy it gets packed very busy the whole place is full

Does Yard House offer brunch?
Hey, Alfrieda! We do not offer our brunch anymore, but we do open at 11am and have brunch items on our regular menu, such as Nashville Hot Chicken, Avocado Toast, mimosas and bloody marys.
Do we need a reservation for happy hour? Coworkers and I want to come, about 8 people.
Although we didn't go during happy hour and did make reservations for our party of 8, the place is huge! You may not need a reservation but I played it safe because I didn't want to get turned away.
Is Yard House dog friendly?

What is the parking like in the area?
Park at the multi level parking garage right next to Macy's on 3rd between J and L. It's $4 per hour but Yard House validates for 2 hours. (This garage is different from the small lot underneath Macy's off of L.)
Do you guys validate parking if I park in parking garage?
They give a QR voucher that's good for a few hrs

I don't know for certain but I would guess yes. There is plenty of room and everyone was super nice!
