Stopped by Yard House for happy hour and had a great experience! The service was friendly and attentive, the happy hour deals were definitely worth it, and the drinks were delicious. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a few small things that could have been a little better, but overall I'd definitely come back for the drinks, good service, and happy hour specials. Poke nachos are a MUST! The restaurant was dimly lit, not too busy, and overall a nice place to wind down after work.
Went over Mid Day to meet my wife for lunch. Parked in the Mall Parking (Yard House does provide validation) Nice big restaurant with plenty of seating, and TV's showing sports. Menu is prettt diverse and they have a great happy hour(unfortunately I was too early to partake) I ordered some Birria Tacos Vampire Style(cheese crusted shell) and. Moon Time IPA Tacos were flavorful and packed with a tasty Birria along with a tasty Cosome for dipping. The accompanying rice and beans were very flavorful. The beer was a nice refreshing IPA that paired with the Tacos quite well. Service was very quick and I felt well taken care of. I really like the whole ambiance of the place and its always a great hang, be it in a group, or just to watch some sports.
We dined at Yard House after attending my son's graduation at Golden One. The place was packed and we had to wait almost an hour for a table for 7 people. They do not take reservation. Luckily, the service was quick after we sat down and food kept on coming. The only disappointing thing was that they ran out of pizza dough, so we didn't get to try any of the pizza. I was looking forward to the Mushroom Truffle Pizza. We got a bunch of dishes to share. My favorite was the Poke Nachos. Generous portion with extra crispy chips. Tuna was fresh. The sauce was delicious with a mild kick. The avocado and jalapenos made the dish even better. I would also get the Crispy Brussel Sprouts again. It was tossed in a sweet gochujang sauce. Mildly spicy and addicting. The Fried Calamari was also a hit. Nicely fried served with marinara and tartar sauce. A large menu of drinks. I believe it's also a full bar too. Everyone was happy with their wine and beer selection. I had a mango refresher and it was perfect! Great place for large parties. Happy Hours from 3-6 PM with a selection of dishes half off and discount on wine, beer and cocktails.
i visited during their weekday happy hour, and it was well-worth it! the appetizers and pizza was still full size even though it was half price, but be aware it is only available for dine in. the food tasted amazing! service was friendly, and the food came out quick even during a busy time. the ambiance of the restaurant was great, with a bar area in the center and plenty of seating around it. the restaurant is conveniently located near many shops and other restaurants, golden 1 center, and many hotels. it was a great place to check out!
Thursday night, around 10PM. The hostess at the front misinformed us when we asked if they still were doing Late Night Happy Hour. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, only to find out that regular dine-in Happy Hour (1/2 off select apps & all pizzas, and $2-$4 off discounts on drinks) was Mon-Fri 3-6PM, and the Late Night Happy Hour was only Sun-Wed from 10PM-close. Decided to stay and just order from the full menu which was still available until late, sharing the Chicken Nachos between 3 people. This was massive and loaded with pinto beans, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, guac, sour cream, jalapenos (requested on the side), guajillo chile, chipotle & tomatillo sauces. Tabletop tablet to order and pay. They do validate parking for the DOCO garage though. Next time, if in the area, I would probably try TOM's Watch Bar for late night offerings instead.
First time at Yard House. Came in right before the dinner rush. We were seated immediately. The food was decent. Nothing extraordinary or amazing about it. The drinks were delicious! Definitely a place you want to stop if you want to watch sports and be close to the SAP Center. Chill and laid back.
Great selection of beers on tap and a large food menu but the lacking service killed those positives. We were seated right away and our waiter got our drink orders out pretty quickly then we kinda got ghosted for the remainder of the time. Getting refills was damn near impossible. My husband ordered a beer and we watched it sit on the bar for 10 minutes waiting for someone to grab it and deliver it. We never got checked back up on once our food was delivered and again, took forever to get to go boxes. I had the Cobb salad with chicken, no complaints other than it needed more dressing. The espresso martini was kissing the garnish. And the sliders were super pink. I probably wouldn't come back for food service. Maybe just sit at the bar and have a beer.
We stopped here after a concert and I'm glad we did. The staff works very hard and quick. Even on a really busy night, I still felt my needs were met and we were checked in on plenty. I like the atmosphere of this place and the music. The food was so tasty and I can't wait to come back and try more things. My fiancé and I both literally went "Mmmhh" when biting into our food. I got a bacon cheeseburger and he got the grilled chicken sandwich. Lots of flavor!
We stopped on for a late lunch and we just made it before the rush of the Ice Skating show. The service was great. Our server was attentive and personable. The food was fresh and hot with such flavor. We enjoyed the onion ring tower because it wasn't overly greasy and the added touch of Parmesan brought it to another level. The breading was light which I appreciated. We shared a stacked turkey club. It was a large enough portion for 2 adults. Their fries are just the right enough crispiness. It became quite busy but not overly noisy
Surprisingly unexpected, something for everyone! Very crowded and busy; lively and spacious. We had to wait for 25 minutes for a table. Server was very friendly and checked in us, refilling our waters and seeing if we needed anything. Great, attentive service. Surprisingly, the menu offers many options that I wouldn't expect but we decided to get some appetizers, first. We had Miguel's Queso and the Parmesan Truffle fries. The queso was so flavorful. The truffle fries were so crispy. Great appetizers! Shortly after, our entrees arrived -- we had the Jambalaya, Lobster Garlic Noodles and Steak Bowl. Portions are so large, very delicious. I ate half of my meal, it was so huge but I enjoyed the meal very much! As it's loud and crowded; with televisions all around; it's a lively spot to hang out and grab a bite to eat. There is something for everyone -- very delicious! Yard House exceeded my expectations; would highly recommend!
Sat down and ordered a beer and a shot of Tequila Reposado. The employee Mason wearing a tshirt that has a trainee badge serves me a cold beer and not the shot I ordered but a Blanco.. I let it be but before finishing I saw the ad on the TV for togo beers and I asked a different employee who the. Walked up to Mason chatted with him and came back and told me we don't do those here. So I responded maybe take down the ad on the screen if you cannot honor It. Then a short woman came by before 11pm saying last call and "we don't want to kick you asses out right away but we want to get home too" Mason was standing right next to her while she said this. Every person in the area of that bar was chill and just finishing up no need to be so passive aggressive with your last call announcement. Because of this and a men's restroom with piss all over the floor I will never come back to this sh1t hole.
The food here is extremely plain and honestly pretty flavorless. I don't eat American food very often, but if this is what it's supposed to represent, then it definitely fits the stereotype--safe, bland, and afraid of seasoning. Everything tasted intentionally toned down, as if strong herbs or bold flavors were avoided altogether. The ingredients felt basic, and the quality did not justify the prices at all. It had been several years since my last visit, and I suggested Yard House for a family lunch mainly because it's convenient for large groups with different preferences. In that sense, it works. We had a party of 8 with no reservations and only waited about 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn't packed and was comfortable enough. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing across the board. The mocktail had a strange bittersweet taste that I didn't enjoy for something non-alcoholic. The onion rings were just bad--soft, barely any texture, and zero crispness, which defeats the entire purpose of onion rings. The sauce didn't help. The garlic noodles were just okay and probably the best thing I had, but even then, they weren't memorable and definitely not worth the price. My husband ordered a burger that sounded great on paper--the ingredients made it seem delicious and worthwhile. Of course, I had to take a bite, and even he agreed with me that it was tasteless. The bacon was soft, the burger itself was nothing special, and despite being hungry, he couldn't dig into it like he normally would because it was so mediocre. Our server was nice but clearly inexperienced--flustered, disorganized, and forgetful (we asked for salt and it never came). Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place if you enjoy flavorful food or like trying new things. This feels like a restaurant for people who are comfortable ordering the same safe items every time and don't mind bland flavors. It's fine if you need a place to sit a large group, but beyond that, there's nothing here that would make me come back. I'd rather go to BJ's Brewhouse next time.
Came in on a Friday evening and were told there would be about a 20-minute wait for two people, but we were seated in closer to 10 minutes, which was a nice surprise. The place was packed and had a lively vibe--if you've ever been to Black Tap at Disneyland, it felt similar in energy and atmosphere. For food, I ordered the ribeye with broccolini and mashed potatoes, and my husband got the cheesesteak sandwich. We also shared the firecracker shrimp appetizer. We originally wanted the hummus, but they were out of the pita bread and said it would only come with vegetables, so we decided to pass (hummus really needs pita). The firecracker shrimp was very good. The entrees did take a little longer than expected to come out, but once they arrived, everything tasted good. One thing I really appreciated was the service--they brought drink refills before we even asked, right as our cups were getting low. I had the dragon fruit lemonade, which I enjoyed, and my husband had a Coke. Overall, good food, great service, and a fun, busy atmosphere. I'd definitely come back and plan to try the jambalaya next time--I'll update this review when I do.
Yard house is a solid place to hang with friends since it's located inside DOCO. The parking gets validated but beware on game day nights, it gets really packed and there's no happy hour. The service was fast and we got our orders in immediately. We got the margarita pizza, poke nachos and wings. The food is decent and shareable so it was convenient to eat as a group. read more

The service at this location seems to continue going downhill. I understand the rush after a big event (next to golden one center) but we were seated for 40 minutes before anyone even came to take our order. Food was a 10/10 as always, saving our experience. We'll give them another try next time we're in the area and hopefully the experience we had was just a once off. read more

Came on a busy Saturday. Had a wait time of 10 mins but we were sat before that . It was pretty busy at the restaurant was full of prom goers but service was great nonetheless. We ordered burgers and a margharita pizza . Food was good and filling will definitely be back soon. read more

Atmosphere: 5 Service: 5 Pizza: 5 Fries: 1 Price: 4 Overall: 4 I had a great experience overall. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and the place was fully staffed. I grabbed a seat at the bar to get a full view of all the beers on tap, which was a nice touch. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and house fries. The pizza came out quickly, was served hot, and was loaded with pepperoni and just the right amount of cheese--delicious. Unfortunately, the fries were a letdown. They came out cold and hard, likely held back to time with the pizza, but by then they were well past their prime. At $10, that was pretty disappointing. Despite the fries, I'd still recommend the spot and would go back--but I'd probably skip the fries next time. read more

The Chicken Nachos are a staple, and not all locations make them the same, but at THIS location, the chef was on point! Full of meat, cheese and guacamole (I did pay for extra meat and guac) all of the toppings were fresh and just tasty! The Pineapple Express was average, not too heavy or light, just really middle on the taste table. Overwhelming the service was good-drawbacks being my soda was never refreshed throughout the meal and I ordered the new S'mores Brownie to go- it comes with ice cream (I didn't know) and the ice cream melted while I was still in the restaurant. One more thing, I was in a group of men and women, and although there was a large table in the front, staff elected to place 9 of us in a booth. After we rejected that and said we would wait, we were immediately escorted to the large open table we originally passed by. Last weekend my girls and I went to Sacramento for a little fun and on Friday and Saturday night we ended up at this establishment for food. One of the girls in my group this was her pick even before we left the Bay Area because she really likes the Yard House outside of the Bay Area. I've never visited any Yard House location however from the two ladies in my group said that the Concord location is undesirable so this Sacramento one I had to try. On Friday I had the Gardin wings and I had two sauces-the Korean barbecue and there is another spicy one that I chose. For one I'm very excited that this type of establishment had plant-based protein as an option because you normally don't have that unless it's like a more Fusion or alternative restaurant- a chain often doesn't offer it on their menu so kudos for that. One star for the plant base! Then on Friday I also had ordered the Pasta Seafood dish now I'm not a big pasta person but I do love the seafood and it describes having shrimp Lobster and other Seafood inside the dish which was a go for me. Actually three out of four of us ordered the same dish and one order to jambalaya pasta. We all enjoyed that pasta dish we mostly ate it the next day because after the appetizer and couple bites of the main course we were already to go back to the hotel. I did also order a strawberry lemonade mule that was too sweet for my liking and ended up sending back to the bar. On Saturday I opted for tacos so I have to vampire style shrimp taco as well as one fish taco. So the vampire style is like a brirra style with the cheese cooked on the tortilla then with all the toppings which is the shrimp and a little Pico and guacamole. That taco was fire excellent so much that we ordered an order to go from my sister and I to split and we ate that the next day. So essentially the Yard House supplied nourishment for the whole weekend because either our eyes are way bigger than our stomach and we realize it's a plentiful portion and we took it back to the hotel and ate off of it through the weekend and even ended up throwing a little of it away because it's just too much food for the ladies to eat. I am a little leery about trying The Concord location but I know there's other locations in the area so Yard House- you'll see me again. read more

Came here for Happy Hour on Friday. Our server was specific about making sure all dishes on the Happy Hour menu are ordered on the tablet on the table and instructed to order all entrees with him. We ordered 3 items on the tablet from Happy Hour menu which are supposed to be half off and drinks as well. We ordered two burgers with the server. They switched shifts at around 5:45pm... our server told us he was going lunch and his buddy would take care of us. We asked for our tab about 6:30 pm and saw that none of the items on the HH menu was discounted. The new server came over and informed us that there was no Happy Hour today since there was a Kings game. So... how about informing your customers upfront when they sit down? And not instruct them to order on the tablet if there were no happy hour. I didn't like how he shows no empathy nor offer to honor what we were here for even the 1st server didn't have his info straight. Anyways, he simply said sorry there's nothing I can do, just don't come on Kings game day. WTH?! I guess customers are so supposed to pick n choose which day they can come have happy hour? It was a horrific experience, and the server behavior seemed condescending what if we were NOT here for the Kings game? I guess now we know not to come to this yard house to do Happy Hour. The food: Fire cracker Shrimps were a bit on the dry side, the rice cake on the bottom was slimy and needed seasoning Tuna Tower was good but super salty plus all you can taste was soy sauce The calamari was a bit undercooked as it was soft and not crispy. The two classic burgers were made correctly but needed mayo and ketchup or it would be dry and flavorless. read more

Owen is one of the best waiters I've ever had. He is constantly checking on us, filling drinks and they are pretty busy tonight. The manager Jeff is a very kind man. It's been a while since I've been here. Today tried the Cilantro Lime Chicken. This will be a first for my chicken series trying chicken dishes from different places. Their cilantro lime chicken was cooked perfect. It was tender and tasty. All in all a good dish. When I go here, I always get the blackened ahi sashimi, a favorite especially during happy hour. The place was packed but I did not have to wait long for my food. Steve who helped me today was really nice and kept checking on you if everything is good and if you need anything. A bunch of us came for HH before the JJ concert @G1C but there isn't one during special events! Bummer! But I guess that's how it is at most places during events, so good to know next time. They were packed but our party of 7 were able to get a table because two of our friends got there early to get us on the list. Everything we ordered was great, no hiccups. Yardhouse is one chain restaurant that always delivers! Ugh, wish I remembered our server's name. He was great and did a phenomenal job of tending to our big group. I've been here a handful of times since they've opened and haven't had a disappointing visit yet so they get five stars from me! read more

I enjoy dinning at Yard House due to the vast menu selections. On this visit, my sister and I shared the 20 oz bone in ribeye with shrimp. The ribeye was surprisingly good. It was tender and prepared to the perfect temperature of medium rare. I also enjoyed the Parmesan mash potato and grilled baby broccoli. For my drink, I tried the pink dragon. The tequila paired very nicely with the dragon fruit agave and black salt rim. read more

Looking for a spot with GREAT food and a where you won't miss any part of football/basketball, if so Yard House is the spot. We've been coming here for a while now before and after Kings games or to just simply catch a football game and they've never disappointed us in any way. The ambiance is always nice with TVs in almost every corner of the restaurant. For all my beer lovers, they have a HUGE selection of beer with many local taps and imported ones as well. Their cocktail menu is also really good and if you don't drink they also have some mocktails for you to enjoy. Happy hour at Yard House is probably one the best around Sac with appetizers being half off and drinks also at a discounted price. While there was one time where the service could've been a little better, it seems they've improved well throughout time. read more

Came here before a pop up event at DOCO and had an enjoyable time. Took a seat at the bar to indulge in their weekday happy hour specials and had a rather pleasant experience. The service was top tier although I did take off one star since the server disappeared once we received our order only to find out she had went on break. Disappearing and not saying something aside she a fabulous job with helpful with all my random questions about the menu and she was just an overall pleasant young lady, The food I got a huge pizza for $9 on happy hour and a 6 ounce wine pour was about $16 so for under $30 a great glass of wine and a whole pizza was a great time. The overall ambiance of the place was rather chill and seemed like a great place to catch up a game. I will definitely return in the near future. read more

Came here for happy hour on a Wednesday and the restaurant was fairly full and well-staffed. A little dark inside but lots of space. Even without a reservation, we were seated quickly and waited on soon after. We ordered several items off the happy hour menu and splurged on the Lobster Garlic Noodles to share. The cheese curds and calamari were both fried perfectly and had great breading. The cheese curds were served with two really great sauces, a horseradish one and a spicy honey. The ahi tuna was good and fresh, albeit the flavors were extremely reminiscent of PF Chang's. The chicken lettuce wraps were a nice break from the fried foods but my companion found them pretty basic. I did like that the chicken was served in a crispy wonton bowl. Overall, I would love to go back and try their pizza which is also half off on happy hour! read more

The manager did a solid for me! I'm allergic to seafood and cooked my food in a special fryer. I was very pleased by his effort and bar staff and asking for the accommodations. Great service and great prices for the week day happy hour 3-6pm. We had the carnivore pizza (not pictured), buffalo chicken pizza, poke nachos and some beers. Great music, not too loud. (By the time we left, noise/chatter was much higher) Beer 5/5, you def have get Firestone's Cali squeeze blood orange...my go to! Poke nachos are out of this world and are a generous portion. I love the freshness of the poke and avocado, crunchiness of wonton chips, and the cute kick of spicy. Carnivore pizza out shines by far the buffalo pizza (chicken buffalo was a bit too salty for our taste). Don't forget to get your parking validated at the front desk before you leave read more

I have to say I have been to a few yard house, location throughout Northern California, and lo and behold. My favorite one happens to be in my hometown of Sacramento, California. When I tell you that this particular location provides the date night vibes, the decor is so inviting and if you just wanted to go by yourself, or maybe you wanna bring your family. All I know is I like this location! Our server, Tyler, deserves to be recognized for his prompt service, his excellent customer service, I have to mention. My friend and I automatically knew what we wanted. We wanted that lobster pasta dish that hands-down was worth every penny spent for it. The food was super flavorful the portion size in regards to the seafood throughout the dish was generous. The portion size was so great. I had to take a to go box and I'm just now finishing that dish lolif you live in Sacramento or if you plan on coming out to Sacramento, please stop by this Yard House, you will not be disappointed. read more

Hey, Alfrieda! We do not offer our brunch anymore, but we do open at 11am and have brunch items on our regular menu, such as Nashville Hot Chicken, Avocado Toast, mimosas and bloody marys.

Although we didn't go during happy hour and did make reservations for our party of 8, the place is huge! You may not need a reservation but I played it safe because I didn't want to get turned away.

What is the parking like in the area?
Park at the multi level parking garage right next to Macy's on 3rd between J and L. It's $4 per hour but Yard House validates for 2 hours. (This garage is different from the small lot underneath Macy's off of L.)
