My wife and I came here for Bimbim Bop. We both had the beef Bimbim Bop and were so happy we came here. I've had Bimbim Bop from different Korean Restaurants, but this was the best I've had in years. I ordered the kitchen grill BBQ pork belly $32. When I opened the package, the portion was pathetic. It only contained 14 bite-sized thin pork belly with white rice and garlic. The menu says it comes with grilled broccoli and kabocha squash. None of those were found in the bag. When I called them and asked for explanation, the attitude was rude and arrogant. Don't waste your time nor money on this place. I think one star is way too kind for this place. read more

Gotten food here twice. First time was takeout, but then stopped in here for dinner with the family and sat outside at the tent, which is a public space, but they are able to serve out there. Convenient if you're coming off the train station. Overall, the food is ok. Crispy wings were tasty, but wish they were crispier. LA Galbi was very good. Only have bibimnaengmyun, which is the spicier kind. Tried to see if they had the cold one in the broth, but they couldn't pull that off. read more

Came to Yeomiji for some Korean take out for dinner. We've never been to Scarsdale so we were pleasantly surprised at the density of good looking restaurants in the area. We ordered take out and got the Spicy Rice Cake (15), Udon Stir Fry (17), and Fried Rice with Beef Egg (17). A little expensive than what we are use to but was looking forward to the meal. When we got back, we were disappointed. The dishes were small and the price didn't justify what we got. The Spicy Rice Cake probably include 15 noodles. Definitely not worth. The Udon was a light but the noodles were overcooked and soggy. The Fried rice was excessively greasy. Maybe the KBBQ is better than the dishes but wasn't impressed with what we got. read more

We normally love this place, but NEVER go here as the ownership does NOT care about its customers. We bought 2 bbq platters, as they began the second platter our plate caught on fire, burning our food and setting off the fire alarm. The employees scrambled to figure out what to do and clearly did not know how to stop the fire. After the alarm stopped we offered to pay for the first platter and all of our drinks. The owner got angry at us and refused saying that we should pay for both platters. This is just terrible customer service and robbed us. This restaurant should be closed for poor service and no safety concerns for fire. read more

Apparently it's just instant noodle and they only have either non spicy or spicy, but I wanted mild so they still gave me non spicy regardless. That's fine but it's just instant noodle you can get for $1 max from any grocery store and they sold it for $17?????????!!!! Are you serious??? 2. Tofu soup. Came in like this-completely crushed tofu, you can not find a single piece, I thought I found one but its actually an egg. The rice was rock hard I have no idea how they steamed it. Selling for $16... ridiculous 3. Cold noodle omg, terrible. Almost no flavor and the noodles stick together like they cooked it three days ago. $18 After all, I felt tired eating there, if you read this, please save money and stay away. read more

Had dinner here last night and it was very, very good. Kalbi and pork belly cooked on the table barbecue was excellent. The servers even do the cooking for you. The servers were all solicitous and quite friendly. Overall, I was quite happy and will return in the future when the whim for Korean food strikes. The only nit I have is the noise level. Eating on the early side mid-week, the place was only about half full and the noise level was such that it was noticeable. There isn't anything noise-absorbing in the decor and I would venture to guess that when the restaurant is full, this could be a problem for us not-gen-Zers that don't hear quite as well as we once may have. read more

Not great but not bad. It's a clean location, but i feel that the flavor profiles are geared toward Americans. Wish they provided more banchan as well. Might as well trek further and eat in Flushing or 32nd street, or Fort Lee for better authentic korean food...especially since you're near the train station that can transport you to Manhattan. read more

Very pleasantly surprised by this Korean restaurant. We stopped by on a rainy Sunday. We are still not dining indoors and the waiter gamely worked with us so that we could eat in the tent on Spencer Place. We all ordered the lunch box special with beef bulgogi. Everything was excellent. There was a dumpling, salad, chap chae, rice and excellent bulgogi. We also got some banchan. Would happily go back during non pandemic or sunny conditions to eat there again. read more

Ordered takeout from here for the first time yesterday and will definitely be going back! First off the restaurant is in the cutest shopping plaza in scarsdale-reminds me of hogwarts (don't ask). Cute brick buildings full of different shops and restaurants with plenty of parking. I ordered the tofu soup with kimchi, and my bf got the chicken ramen, non spicy. The tofu soup was delicious and spicy how I like it. The only difference I'd say compared to other Korean restaurants I've had it at was the texture of the tofu-It looked like it was chopped up very rough where as at other places it's usually tiny singular squares. Nonetheless it was great and came with a side of white rice. I also had a bite of my bfs ramen and it was great, we both loved it. The noodles were very creamy and soft and they also included some add ins like the bean sprouts with sliced cucumber. I would come back in a heartbeat to try their meat selection and possibly dine in. Great spot! read more

Quite good. The food is very well cooked and presented stunningly. There are some particularly off the beaten path options, such as bulgogi tacos which my girlfriend adored, and a spicy pork burger. The BBQ service is insane, too, and portions are quite fair. Unfortunately there are downsides--dirty bathrooms and slightly grimy atmosphere raised eyebrows with both of us. The salmon bento -salmon was covered in a heavy sauce, completely masking the flavor of the salmon. and the rest of it also uninteresting. The cold noodles were tasteless, with a few slices of cucumber and daikon. The steamed dumplings were fine but again, not interesting. What was surprising was the attitude. Rather than sitting next to people at another table outside, we chose a table that hadn't been bussed yet. The owner's (?) disgust was palpable (there were three used glasses and a bottle of water on the table). His general impatience was unpleasant. My wife and I discovered Yeomiji per chance as we welcomed our new baby girl Ana who was premature and had to be at the White Plains NiCU. The restaurant decor and atmosphere was fabulous. The service was so attentive and the owners made it a point to say hello, check in and ensure we were doing ok. The food well, it is now one of the best Korean places I've been to, since moving from NYC. the hit stone bibimbop was awesome, fresh vegetables, the hot sauce was clearly homemade and the ginger hot tea was brewed with real ginger! We share the steamed dumplings and they were very good my husband take fried rice and chicken and it was excellent, completely different from the fried rice that you get at Chinese restaurant, the plate had a smoke flavor that made it awesome! I usually do not leave bad reviews but I felt compelled to write one. About 2 days ago, I came to dine here for lunch with my husband (hispanic) and 1 year old daughter. When we came in to the restaurant the male staff did not greet us, and just brought us to our table. I did not think anything of it, I thought maybe he was still busy getting the restaurant ready since it was around 11am. However, throughout the service we would ask him for things and said thank you a million times.. he barely responded, and seemed upset that we were there. About 20-30 minutes later, a white male and his daughter came in and the male staff greeted them and consistently smiled at them throughout the service. (mind you, that customer was very rude to him). I am obviously asian so my hispanic husband felt very uneasy because of this experience as no one should ever feel this way. It was very unfortunate because it was our very first time here and clearly will be our last. read more

For Westchester, it's fine but I personally wouldn't go back. Side dishes are one of the most important parts of Korean food and they didn't have much. They gave us broccoli, kimchi, and one other side dish. As for the bbq, it seemed like the cuts of meat that we ordered were frozen and it tasted pretty tough. Personally, I could've had a much better time if I made all of this at home myself...and for a much cheaper price too :/ I agree with other reviews here. I had the same experience as a recent reviewer. They angrily refuse to honor their own coupons! Two people barked at me and made up BS why they were invalid (they were not -- nothing in the fine print indicated so). Truly appalling. Stay away unless you want this horrific and frightening experience. We will never give them another penny. korean American, I am embarassed that they are serving so called Korea. dishes to innocent customers. Over priced, really over over priced. I had to do take out for ill mother "old korean traditional lady" at last minute and she could not eat at all. Also korean dishes are known for side dish even though it was take out, 2 2ounce container is unlikely with other korean restaurants.
