Came here on a Friday night around 7pm and waited close to an hour in line! Didn't mind it but something to be mindful of if you don't want to wait a while. I tried the Baby vanilla with heath toffee and strawberries which comes with two toppings and was $5.50. My sister tried strawberry with cheesecake bites & rainbow sprinkles. Both were delicious! There is seating indoors & outdoors. Parking is very easy. Would definitely come back if I am in the area + maybe try earlier in the day in case the wait is shorter.
The long line means go ahead and treat yourself to a big one! We went on a Sunday around 3:00pm, over a holiday weekend with a cool Free Toppings deal for Veterans & Active Duty Military. We waited about 45 minutes but we can assume it's probably less crowded during the week. As first time visitors, it takes so long because the staff is really nice and they let you try samples of their rotating daily flavors before you decide. I opted for a basic mix of vanilla & chocolate in the Junior size, with sprinkles and Reese's PB cup crumbs. Super awesome that they fill 3 layers of the toppings so you get a little something each time. It does freeze pretty well so if you don't eat it all it can last you a few days. A little bit of parking out front in the shopping area. No shade while you wait but others brought umbrellas. Lots of seats inside too. There was a bathroom but it was located in their staff area and you needed to be let in.
Teen found this on Instagram and so we specifically drove down to try the "best" frozen yogurt. She put together a day of things to do and our last stop after a day in the sun was here. Line out the door it did take awhile to get our treat but good things come to those that wait. This was some pretty damn good yogurt! And it was a huge serving to boot! I didn't go in to order as I stayed with the dog but what was brought to me was amazing! I love Reese's PB cup and there was a ton mixed in. I was told I got a mini but it was super substantial. My hubby got a bigger one but he said he should have got the smaller one. It's my understanding they swap out flavors each day but going from all of our reactions, sure you won't have a problem finding a good flavor and toppings to boot! I would drive down here again for this!
I love Yogurt Mill!! This is my favorite froyo ever. It's thick and creamy yet not overly fatty or rich. They don't skimp on the toppings either. Print out coupons online before coming!! The coupons are a great deal and basically a BOGO. My favorites are the tart flavors since I like when frozen yogurt has some tartness to it. You can try samples before ordering. I usually go on weekdays and there would only be two or three groups ahead of me. Though once I came on a weekend and the line was wrapped around the building next door. It took ~40 minutes to get to the front. Personally, I won't be back again on a weekend evening. There is lots of parking in this strip mall. Parking has never been an issue for me near El Cajon.
The line is LONG, so be prepared. We waited about it an hour so do know it's a busy spot even on a Monday. The yogurt was good, they let you sample the flavors that is nice. The toppings are where it is at. My friend and J got a baby which was plenty for the two of us. Would go again if the line wasn't out the door around the corner. Also bring cash!!
Huge yogurt cups!! Came here on a Thursday night. (The line took 30min!). Ordered a child size and that is more than enough. The portions are huge and they layer the toppings (each topping is an extra charge). Don't be deceived by the large cups though, if you want a lid, they put the cup in a larger one. Not everyone is leaving with a large but it sure does look like it! I stored it in the freezer and defrosted it a few days later. Still tasted awesome!
I stopped by this place after a friend suggested it for dessert. The portions are generous and is great for saving it for later. My froyo froze pretty good but didn't have the right consistency when you first get it. The froyo was nice and creamy and the strawberry one was my favorite! I don't think it was worth the line though in my opinion.
Stopped here with a couple of friends after seeing this place on social media. The line is INSANE to get your froyo (I think we waited close to an hour and a half). Once we got inside, staff was phenomenal. Very friendly, vibrant, and makes small talk with guests to provide a pleasant experience. The froyo here is good, the topping choices are great, and they give you a massive amount of froyo, but it's certainly not worth the lengthy wait in my opinion. Our group decided that, while we were happy with the experience, none of us would return and wait in line that long again for the end product.

This place was going viral online and I can see why! I was able to visit on a Friday around 3pm and there was a short line. I have heard people waiting up to an hour during peak hours! I was amazed by the flavors, toppings, sizes, and the prices. They also gave free samples which was great! I ordered the baby size of cake batter with Oreos. I can confidently say that this is the best frozen yogurt I've had thus far. I will be back!
CASH ONLY! The portions here are insane and the menu changes daily so follow them on IG if you want to see what they're churning. My hubby and I each ordered a baby which is about 10-12oz, comes with up to 3 flavors, and a free topping of choice. If you get it without a lid, they top it off with the more yogurt. The yogurt was very creamy and we sampled 5 different flavors. I ordered the cold brew and cheesecake with no toppings while the hubby ordered strawberry, cheesecake, and cold brew. Total was $9 for both, it filled us up plenty and I tossed what I didn't finish. Expect to wait in line for a minimum of 20 minutes but know it moves pretty quickly but gets hot in that east county sun. My only complaint is that I wish they'd stop using styrofoam cups. I know they keep everything cooler but would be nice to see them switch over to something more environmentally friendlier.
The wait was pretty long, but we came knowing it would be (total of 1h30min on a Sunday evening). We came using BOGO coupons for 4 child sizes, and it came out to $32 (some of them had additional toppings). It is also a cash only place, so pls come prepared unlike us! They allow samples, and it was overall good but not super duper yummys enough to come back to wait another hour and a half next time. I thought it was also cute that each server had a tip cup decorated based on their personal financial goal! They kept serving the long line past 10pm closing time, so props to them.

CASH ONLY!!! This pace is absolutely delicious!! Flavors are rotated I believe, but I'm a vanilla guy myself! If you're going around dinner time be prepared to wait in a line out the door, but I promise the wait is well worth it! This place is CASH ONLY and a great deal. You get a HUGE cup for a few bucks. I got the baby cup which comes with up to 3 flavors and 2 toppings. A hack is to get the largest cup (since it's the best deal) and freeze the rest at home. It freezes well since the frozen yogurt here is soooo light and fluffy! I don't think it's overly sweet either. The staff is extremely friendly and you can sample any of the many flavors they have before deciding on what you want. read more
My friend dragged me out to check out this spot that was on her bucket list, so I was excited. From the beginning, there was a long line (over an hour!) on a Thursday night. The frozen yogurt itself was not impressive. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, my personal favorites I tried were the coconut, peanut butter, and coffee. The serving was generous and fairly priced. What irked me the most was the intense artificial flavors. This place would be better if not for the long wait times. The toppings are to die for with incredible "density" so no but is without a topping. We got the peanut butter cup which had cheesecake bites and Reese's cups. This joint is cash only. Delicious yogurt in generous sizes! CASH ONLY! Print a coupon online for BOGO Free yogurt! Even without the coupon, the huge sizes and plentiful toppings are a great deal. A cone or baby size would suit a single person while a child size or larger is great for sharing (and even having leftovers to freeze). The wait can be long during peak times, like after dinner, so prepare for a wait 30 minutes+. The staff is very friendly and you can get free samples before deciding on a flavor or two. Word on the block is that this is the best frozen yogurt in all of San Diego. I actually have never heard of this place until my friend took me here. Apparently it blew up on TikTok and now the line is ridiculously long. I timed it. We waited about 1 hour on a Sunday night (8pm) just to get yogurt. Aside from the painful wait the yogurt is splendid. They have a good variety of rotating flavors and the prices are incredibly good for the size you get. We appreciated the kindness and patience of Sean. Even though they were slammed during the last hour of the business day all the employees looked genuinely happy to be there and serve everyone their amazing yogurt. I would definitely come again but the wait is kind of insane so maybe I'll come back when it's not 1 hour+ wait. read more

Delicious yogurt with super creamy flavors in an interesting set-up. First of all, their sizes are huge and the prices are reasonable for the amount you receive. I tried peanut butter and strawberry and added almonds as my topping. I ordered a baby and I'd be scared to see the size of the baby that could eat this amount. Peanut butter was super creamy and the strawberry was surprisingly tart, which was delicious. My daughter got a medium with mango, strawberry and chocolate and added turtles for her topping. The server had a giant cup in his hand which confused us until he said that they add three layers of topping to the medium size. The line was out the door and they have no inside seating, but the line moves quickly and there are lots of servers/cashiers to help customers. TL;DR: An iconic El Cajon spot with a massive fanbase, massive portion sizes, and free-flowing samples. The frozen yogurt is super refreshing on a hot day, but between the 40-minute line in the sun, cash-only policy, and rotating menu, it might not be worth a long drive if you're picky about flavors. We made the trip all the way out to El Cajon to try this super popular spot. We arrived around 2 PM on a Saturday, and the line was already wrapping around the building. There isn't much shade outside, so if you go on a summer afternoon, definitely bring an umbrella or prepare to bake in the sun for a bit. Getting inside to the air conditioning felt like a reward in itself after waiting about 30 to 40 minutes in line. Parking in their lot is somewhat limited, so definitely keep that in mind if you visit during peak hours. Also, a big heads-up: this place is CASH ONLY, so make sure you bring cash with you. Once you get inside, they have about four ordering windows, a couple of small tables, and tap water available with ice if you need to hydrate. The staff member who helped us was polite and kept the line moving quickly. They have a rotating menu with different daily flavors and a tons of topping options. They are super generous with samples and let you try as many as you want before deciding. We both opted for the baby size. The larger sizes are huge (which is awesome if you have a big appetite!), but we knew we couldn't finish them. Another perk of the baby size is that it includes one free topping, whereas toppings for the larger sizes cost an extra $2.50 for each additional topping. The yogurt itself was pretty delicious and refreshing, especially after standing out in the heat. Overall, Yogurt Mill is clearly a local icon with a fun atmosphere. it's not bad at all but personally i would give it more of a 3/5 for the yogurt itself. i ended up giving 4 stars because the staffs were super friendly and patient even with how busy it was. this place is sooo hyped up and we waited a good 40 mins in line about an hour before they closed, but thankfully the line moved pretty smoothly and i didn't have any issues. also please be aware that they are CASH ONLY. honestly there's nothing too crazy or special about the yogurt itself, but i will say their sizes are HUGE lol. you definitely get a lot for your money. they're known for putting toppings on the bottom, middle, and top of the cup which was nice because you get toppings throughout instead of just on top. overall it was still a good experience and i'm glad i finally got to see what the hype was about. i personally wouldn't wait 30-40 mins again for regular yogurt, but it was still worth trying at least once! read more

I don't get the hype around this place. We arrived about an hour and a half before closing and ended up waiting an hour in line. By that time, they had run out of all of their fruit toppings. The frozen yogurt itself was good, but nothing particularly amazing. At the end of the day, it's still just frozen yogurt. That said, the prices are fair and the portions are huge. The baby size comes with up to 3 flavors and 2 toppings for $5.50. Also, keep in mind this is a cash only establishment. Overall, it's a spot I'd come back to if I'm in the area, but personally I wouldn't wait more than 10 minutes in line for it. read more

overall a pretty good yogurt place. we went in the afternoon so were able to order right away. this place offers bogo coupons but you have to bring in the physical copy. also they only accept cash. we liked how much the pack the yogurt and toppings into the cup. the amount of yogurt you get is a substantial amount for the price. also these hold up pretty well in the freezer if you bring them home. though not sure if i would wait in the long lines that we were seeing online for the yogurt. there is limited seating inside. but they definitely blast the ac so your yogurt stays nice and cold! read more
I saw Yogurt Mill on Instagram and was mesmerized by the cute tower and comical sizes. I knew I wanted to try this place out. I had my chance on a recent weekday evening. The store is located in a strip mall and the line snaked across the parking lot. Despite the long lines, parking was easy to find. Come with company, chat as you wait. Time will fly by! The important thing to remember is that they are CASH ONLY. They helpfully have signage pointing out an ATM next door for us cashless folk. I opted for their cookie butter flavor with caramel turtle mix-in. I also tried a bit of raspberry froyo with cheesecake bites. The raspberry was tart and fresh, and the cookie butter flavor tasted just like the TJ speculoos dip. They were nonfat and low fat respectively so it's just like eating a yogurt parfait... right...? XD Both were the baby size and they were literally the size of a pint of Haagen das. For the price you get an absurd amount. The froyo has that distinct yogurt tang, but it is so smooth and creamy like ice cream. I could only finish a quarter and had to take the rest home, but you best believe I will be continuing to enjoy it for the next few days. Yogurt mill is a bit out of the way for me, but it is such a nice treat if I end up in El Cajon. The price, quality, and value are INCREDIBLE. If anyone from Yogurt mill sees this, please, please do a honey greek froyo, that is my FAVORITE froyo flavor! read more

Huge portions and great coupons! Got the two "child" sizes for 8.99, and the line moved quick. Went at 6PM to avoid the long lines at night and got toppings. Would not recommend the gummy worms because they get hard from the cold froyo. Also was not a big fan of the coconut. Would come again! read more

Huge portion size! I got the baby size yogurt, and it was more than enough! The peanut butter flavor yogurt was my favorite, and it was a nice, cool treat for a hot day. Super friendly staff, and I came at a good time because it was super quick service! Right after I got my yogurt, I saw the line get really long, but it seemed to go by quickly. Small place with not much seating inside, but most people eat quickly and leave. read more

Came here last night from some froyo and left a little disappointed. I got the coconut and strawberry flavors but was sadden by my choices. The strawberry tasted artificial and fake :( the coconut on the other hand was pretty good! I wished I would have gotten just coconut but at least now I know . read more
LOWKEYYYY underwhelmed:( but that's probably my own fault for getting hyped up off of its virality. me and my bestie got here around 11:15 on a monday morning (memorial day) and there was no line! just a few other people and groups here and there. the guy helping us up front did NOT seem like he wanted to be there (fair enough, talking to people all day, every day over and over again is exhausting). but he didn't ask if we had any questions or anything just "know what you want yet" LOLLL anyways....i got a baby with strawberry and vanilla yogurts, and then strawberries and brownies on top. none of the toppings were layered? i thought that was a big selling point they were making? my favorite part of the yogurt was the brownie bits!! soft, sooo chocolatey, and delicious. i felt like the yogurt could've been more....flavorful? my bestie got peanut butter and chocolate yogurts, and then the chocolate chip cookie dough bits and reese's pb cups as toppings! i actually think we both enjoyed hers more. even though hers sounds like it MIGHT be rich with the chocolate and peanut butter, it was perfectly balanced! so maybe next time i'd just know to pick "stronger" flavors? Long line and I mean long. We waited about an hour and a half because everyone says this is the best frozen yogurt in San Diego. I'll give them their flowers though, the yogurt was actually really good. Great texture and really tasty. The portion sizes were impressive for the price too. Toppings aren't free ($2.50 for two), but they're generous with them. Overall, great price and portions. Just not sure I'd wait an hour and a half again. read more

For the prices, you get extremely big portions here! Don't be discouraged by the long lines either... the wait goes by fast. The staff are lovely as well. Keep in mind that they are a cash only business. It is a very fast paced environment here- most people take their yogurt to go because there is not much seating. They also offer online coupons but you have to print them in order for them to accept them for some reason. read more

Yogurt mill gives insanely large portions for the money. The child size was bigger than my head, pretty much 3 large portions worth. Definitely too much to eat in one sitting but great to share with someone. Two toppings are included in the size at no extra cost. Be ready to wait in line, but the flavors are great and worth the price. I got the Dole raspberry and chocolate and they were both incredible and rich in the right way. Stumbled upon theeeee best frozen yogurt on a beautiful sunday afternoon! I was at home, scrolling through Instagram and I saw a reel about this wonderful yogurt shop in SD! Messaged my friend and said are you down to take the drive from Temecula to El Cajon (which btw didnt even know where el cajon was)....so we hopped in the car...took the beautiful drive and arrived to this wonderful, cute little spot! There was a decent line...it moved quick...we chatted some some locals who gave us some hints on ordering - when you order, choose the size and then say "drop" ... the variety of flavors and toppings are out of this world! Honestly I cant even remember what flavor I got but it was DELICIOUS and I would gladly drive the distance for Yogurt Mill! Staff is SO friendly and reminder, CASH ONLY!!! We (and others.) asked for samples before we determined which flavors to purchase. It is a strictly cash only operation, but we were prepared. They also offer coupons online.
