We love Yogurtland. It is by far our favorite frozen yogurt chain. This is our second favorite location, behind the Torrance location. First, parking is terrible. There is always a wait here for the free lot. There are metered street parking or the metered lot across the street. But who wants to pay $2 for parking when you're getting a $3 yogurt?? Not me!! The store is bright lit and carries a happy vibe. Most the flavors are decent. For a Yogurtland, this location has lots of indoor seating. There are really no seats outdoors. Eh. I'm almost over Yogurtland. They are utilizing safety precautions for Covid, so you never touch the yogurt dispensers or the toppings, you tell them what you want and that's it. However, from when it first opened until now, 3 smaller sized yogurts with toppings (served by them) $20, it's too expensive. These same 3 cups cost half that when they first opened, the prices rose too fast and it's ok but not that good. We used to go here weekly, but now with the price and some of the flavors just being "ok" I'm not sure the next time I will be back. read more

It was my first experience of Yogurtland- feel so excited about that! Literally love it from the first sample. So here are about 10 or more different flavours of yogurt and ice-cream and many-many toppings: fruits, berries, nuts, cookies, jello.... 2 types of cups: small and large. Before mixing it all un a cup you can try every flavour- they give free samples. My favourites are plain yogurt, blubbery and pistachio ) Staff is so welcoming and smiley. I just left yogurtland in Redondo Beach and was completely grossed out. A couple was tasting the yogurt flavors by putting them on their finger and licking it off. I explained to the two employees what was happening and the only thing that happened was they were told to put their masks on. The couple proceeded to the topping area and were using the provided serving spoons with the hands they just licked. There was no sanitizing or cleaning and the whole line of people behind the couple used the machines and serving spoons unaware of what the couple has just done. F grade for cleanliness! Wow, just wow!!! I've been hearing about the hype from everyone about Yogurtland and was thinking, what's the big deal? Frozen yogurt is frozen yogurt! NOT!!! I had no idea how good frozen yogurt can be until I came to Yogurtland! Thanks goodness I noticed someone in the new store earlier this morning while getting my Starbucks coffee at this little mall in the Hollywood Riviera! I asking the young gent if they were open and he replied that they had had a soft opening for a while but hadn't had their official Grand Opening yet. I told him I would be by later! When I did stop by after lunch, the place was busy as all get out! All sorts of people were busily getting their froyo on! The girls at the register welcomed me and gave me a stack of little cups and said I could try any of the flavors and once I settled on the one I wanted, there were larger cups to fill and various toppings and then they'd weigh it and charge $0.30 an ounce. Sweet!! I got to work and saw the flavors that they had which were: * Arctic vanilla * Dutch chocolate * S'Mores * Nutter Butter * NY Cheesecake * Fresh Strawberry * Double Cookies and Cream * Pistachio * Mango Tart * Vanilla Wafer Cookies and Cream * Toasted Coconut * Taro * Strawberry Banana * Pineapple Tart * Blueberry Tart * Plain Tart Man, there were some pretty unique flavors that I'd never tried. The ones I tried were so rich, creamy and super delicious that I had a tough time deciding but I finally settled on a swirl of the S'Mores and Nutter Butter as well as the NY Cheesecake and Strawberry Banana. All hail Steven L. and his most recent visit to a yogurtland. If it wasn't for his recent review I would have never known about their new Yuzu Tart flavor. He had me at limey tartness. As much as I hate this yogurtland location for their cluster of a mess, I am now madly in love with the Yuzu Tart flavor. It is hands down the most perfect froyo flavor I have tried. The perfect balance of creamy, icy, smidgen of sweet and ever so tart! Upping one star since they provided me with my all time fav froyo flavor so far. I still hate this location and need to find another yogurtland location asap. I really hope not all yogurtland locations are as cramped and compact as this one. If so I will be oh so sad bc this Yuzu Tart was sooo good and I do not want to live my life without it. Love their spoons! They are they best! The level of cleanliness here is good, but the froyo seemed not as frozen as it should be. It melted pretty fast. Bummer. But it still tasted fine! Absolutely disappointed and disgusted w/ my experience here today. I went in w/ my 9yo nephew who lives overseas and hasn't been home in 2 years bcuz COVID prevented travel last year. "Where do you want to go for your welcome home treat?" I ask him. YOGURTLAND! He says enthusiastically... So I take him to the same yogurtland we've been patronizing since he was born... After he got his favorite flavors and toppings I go to pay. I take out my phone to use Apple Pay, as the many signs say they accept it (and dont accept cash) Nick, the heartless grinch; a tool behind the counter, coldly says, "we can't accept Apple Pay today." So i pull out some cash and say, "ok will you take cash since your payment system is down." Nick: We dont take cash. I notice there is a cash tip jar on the counter between us. Me: "Ok well I left the house with cash and my apple pay enabled phone but not my cards, so how can we resolve this so my nephew can have his treat?" Nick: You cant have your yogurt if you cant pay. And I correct him, "I CAN PAY! You can't accept payment. There's a huge difference." I plead to Nick's sense of decency, reason and humanity that it is not cool to take ice cream away from a 9yo kid. I ask him, "how can we work this out?" I think Nick hates children.... Finally, a good samaritan suggests using his card to pay. I offer him cash and the gentleman kindly replies: "Pay it forward." TAKE NOTE NICK! Thats how civilized people behave with each other. Yogurtland would rather crush the enthusiasm of a 9yo and throw away yogurt than just take cash as payment or just ADMIT that the fault is with their system and apologize and let the kid be happy and have his ice cream. Maybe just say: Come back tomorrow and pay for it. Also, I wouldve been happy to put the full amount in the tip jar and he can tell his manager what happened and get a stellar review instead of this one. I mean lets be real, you have to be pretty bottom of the barrel to take away a kid's ice cream and throw it away in the trash instead. And then to further humiliate me in front of my nephew is just the cherry in top. To imply to my nephew that this is somehow my fault would make for a real awkward rest of the night. Nick, bro, for such a young kid, you are a real tool. You are a real cold piece of work. You reflect the worst of humanity (at scale) and indicate the utter lack of any problem solving or compassion. In other words, you demonstrated absolutely zero analytical or emotional intelligence and I sincerely hope YOGURTLAND management will talk to you and offers you a chance to grow as a human. Im sorry if your parents' treated you at 9yo the way you chose to treat my 9yo nephew today, but you have a chance to evolve if given the opportunity to learn and grow. Ill be talking to your manager about this tomorrow because next time a kid is at that counter and YOGURTLAND can't provide a reasonable method of accepting payment, then just let it go! You wont go broke because you're already throwing out that item anyway. I love Yogurtland so much, and this place sure hits the spot whenever I am craving some frozen yogurt. Unfortunately, sometimes it's difficult to get parking at this particular location, but they usually have a great selection of flavors and Redondo Beach is always a nice area to chill in. Last time, I got Matcha, Mango tart, plain tart, Taro, and Coconut with the delicious albanese gummy bears that I love. This was the first time I saw Matcha and it was really on point. I mean, it was not as sweet as all the other flavors, but it had that strong matcha flavor which I love. If you try it, try to separate it from your toppings and other flavors or else you can't really taste it. Anyways, I love this Yogurtland and all the flavors I got were amazing. read more

Cash only and I have a feeling the profit from this policy in more ways than one. My order came to $15.08, and I gave them $20.10. My change due was $5.02 and they gave me 2 cents and I didn't notice because I was trying to juggle 4 to go yogurts plus my own. Once I got home, I realized I didn't get my $5 back. Basically, They pocketed $5 of my change. when I called to tell them 15 minutes later , there was no apology from management. They simply replied that they would count the money at the end of the night and I would have to call back the next morning to see if they had $5 extra in the count. No offer To take my number to call me, no offer For any sort of complimentary yogurt for the inconvenience. Nada. Im not cheap and I don't expect freebies with every complaint voiced to a business, but this whole experience really irked me, especially the way it was handled by their staff. I called the next morning and asked if there was any extra money and that I needed my $5 and the guy just said "yea it's here. When you gonna come get it?" I came right Over and got My money and again the employee still offered no apology. Yogurtland has the recipes that blow away the competition so I won't even go into how great that is - I shall just speak to the vagaries of this location. - 1 Star - Parking. Hellish lot shared with Trader Joe's. Avoid it at all costs and park on the street or across the way in the municipal lot (quarters!). + 1 Star - Good flow. This store manages to have a good people-flow pattern so though it gets mad busy, it manages to move along pretty a-ok. There's not that much else to say about a franchise, but this one is delicious as usual. I only wish that they had a stamp-card like Pinkberry. Sigh. One can hope. read more

On the day I went there was dark chocolate, vanilla bean, coffee, peanut butter, tart, two different berry tarts, strawberry, red velvet. MMMM!!! And the toppings - I have never seen melon balls at a yogurt place before, but they have them here, as well as the usual suspects of gummies and oreos and different types of chips and fruits. After living in Irvine, where Yogurtland originated while I was in school, I basically saw the chain grow since it was a baby. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out there was one in the South Bay. Yogurtland was a BIG thing in the OC, so I wasn't surprised the hype expanded. It wasn't until yesterday that I was actually able to go though. The first thing I knew would be bad is parking, as the Rivera Plaza does not accommodate many cars. Having a Trader Joe's, Jamba Juice, and Starbucks in the same plaza doesn't help much either. Secondly, the line was out the door. I can't remember the last time I had to wait this long before I could even get to the machines. I think one of the major problems with the waiting is that their toppings are very condensed into a small corner, so people tend to run into each other quite often while adding their toppings of choice. The two registers are also tightly packed right next to each other. Claustrophobia to the extreme. On the bright side, they did seem to have the same variety of flavors as the ones in Irvine. Although there are variations in every location, this one did have my two favorites: strawberry and new york cheesecake. I was also able to top it off with my usual cheesecake bites. Despite the tight space and long wait, I was still able to leave satisfied. read more

We really have a Yogurtland problem. We have about 40 of the spoons in our utensil drawer, it's pretty crazy. The various yogurt flavors are very good. I'm really writing here because the young blonde woman working there whose name I didn't get was so kind to me after I inquired about cameras viewing the area where I was told a girl stole my wallet yesterday afternoon. Even though I was only speaking to her for a moment, another woman approached the register in such an ugly demeanor, waving her hand and spouting that she didn't "need to listen to this." I did file a police report so that perhaps the thief can be identified on video or noted if she she has been recorded stealing there at other times. I was enjoying Redondo and then in a flash, a thief and a rude person colored my thoughts of who and what is in the area and how you cannot let your guard down for a moment even in the seemingly most pleasant of places. This particular location at Riviera Village is very easy to find with lots of parking spaces available, especially if you come after 7pm when the meters close. Having lived out-of-state, I always missed the fad of froyo on every street corner as they do in LA. However, Yogurtland is probably the best bang for your buck kind of place. With a wide selection of frozen yogurt to choose from and sample cups to help decide what you prefer, I always tend to be indecisive and get a little bit of everything into my bowl. I love that you can portion out the amount that you want yourself and those hand-sanitizing stations that are so useful! Their new Acai flavor was creamy and sweeter kind of froyo as opposed to the tart and tangy of their Maqui Berry flavor. I love having a balance between the fruity and the sharp, acidic taste that gives a refreshing boost to your taste buds. read more

This is still my favorite Yogurtland. They have about 14 flavors each day! Here is a tip: Sign up for their loyalty card and get 3 oz free! They have special featured flavors each month or several times a month. This month is is Kung Fu Panda flavors. The dragonfruit is super delicious and refreshing. My favorites are the salted caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate. These are staples along with strawberry, mango, java, cheesecake, oreo, and tart, off the top of my head. Parking in this lot is a bit tight. I have always gotten a space, but it is crowded. WINTER HOURS: They do NOT open till noon right now. Oh Yogurtland, how I try to resist your sweet forbidden fruits of fro-yo. I try to avert my eyes when I walk by. But like a magnet, my eyes are drawn to your posters advertising Tokidoki themed cups and spoons and I am lost. Lost! I hurry in and grab a cup decorated with my beloved Tokidoki characters and start pumping all my favorite fro-yo flavors into delicate layers. Adding the complex blend of fresh fruit bits with chocolate toppings is icing goodness. The matching pink or green spoons top off my frozen delight perfectly. I know that the newly designed cup doesn't enhance the fro-yo but I'll swear to anyone that it does! Combing my love for Tokidoki and frozen yogurt is a danger I'm willing to face head on.
