Wagyu beef

This place is spacious. The bone soup base is so delicious, we almost drank all the soup after finishing all the meat. Must try the wagyu beef and shrimp meatball, the beef is so soft and melted in your mouth. The servers are very nice and responsive, thank you! We will definitely come again!

I have to say Yuan's Hotpot is a bit of a hidden gem in the area. It's a very nice hotpot place with a nice interior. Ordered a bunch of food and I was not disappointed with the quality of each item. They have a huge variety but I remember there was no taro on the menu. Ordered the pork bone broth and it was really flavorful, like so flavorful that I didn't actually need a soup base. The heat source is pretty strong and heats up the soup quickly. The service here, although most of it was DIY like the sauce and the cooking is up to you, they came by relatively often and made sure there was enough soup. The parking entrance is a bit tight and you may over shoot it if you're not careful. Just drive carefully up to it. They also have a secondary lot in the event the primary lot is full. They have arrows pointing to it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would definitely come back. Wish they had taro on the menu though

Absolutely loved this hot pot spot Everything about the experience was on point. The ingredients were super fresh -- you can really taste the quality in the meats, veggies, and seafood. The broth was rich and flavorful (perfect level of spice ), and everything cooked beautifully. Service was impressively fast and attentive without being overbearing. We never had to wait long for anything, and staff made sure we were taken care of throughout. The restaurant itself was also very clean and well-maintained, which always makes a big difference for me when it comes to hot pot places. Overall, such a satisfying and fun dining experience. Definitely one of the better hot pot spots I've tried -- I'll 100% be coming back!

Very yummy and so fun with big group!

Good service, yummy food and nice ambiance. Nice decors ! Good for big group. We had a party of 9 and they let us sit altogether in a round table. We had a great time and very kids friendly. There are all other options for kids and all you can eat dessert. The kids love the dessert bar.

Amazing food and great service! The broth was flavorful, ingredients were fresh, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely one of the best hotpot spots I've tried -- will come back again!

Hot pot in America hits different. The broth was rich, the beef was insanely fresh, and somehow the whole table turned into therapy, business strategy, and chaos at the same time. Nothing brings people together faster than boiling food and arguing over who overcooked the wagyu.

The hot pot place is really clean and tidy - the serving counter and condiment table are spotless. The food tastes really good and is fresh. The servers are also very friendly and clean the tables and bring water regularly.

This is one of my go-to hotpot spots in town. We usually get their 3 split soups, and their broth is very flavorful. The spicy broth is really tasty and spicy, so if you're not good with spice, even the less than mild can be pretty hot. I like that their seafood tastes fresh and their short rib has got the right amount of marble. Definitely great casual spot to eat out with a small group of friends or family. The servers are really quick too.

Nice ~ I love this pot!!

The interior was clean and quiet the pots was golden tiger which I didn't see before.. the menu.. don't really know because I went with my Chinese friend and she ordered everything for me.. fiod food was fresh and we ordered too much we had to take the leftovers home I definitely come back for special occasions.. The service was ok.. nothing unusual

One of our go to hot pot places! Service was amazing, everything came out quick and they always helped clear out our tables when we finished plates. The short ribs are and are a steal for the price! Hand made beef balls were also surprisingly good. They recently got an updated sauce/sides bar which is nice. Also love the sesame balls for dessert!

Super nice place, food is delicious. Customer services is well served. Will come next time again !

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The food was delicious--perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. And good server too Was really enjoy!

This was my first time going to the restroom and I was appalled by the mustiness of the air and the dirtiness that I saw. Other places have passed them by in some respects First there is no sauce bar here. Just four small containers of sauces you can use. Ironically none of those sauces are soy sauce. A darker possible peanut sauce, a sesame sauce, a pinkish possibly fermented tofu sauce and the standard chili oil. I wanted more as far as the sauce goes and I thought a sauce bar was pretty standard these days Second there is no AYCE bar with small snacks. Kind of interesting When ordering the meat, I guess they wanted to save a plate so the sliced meats just came in plastic containers. That loses some points with me on presentation Other than that everything is fine. They charge a little less for the broth than a lot of places do, so that's nice Got vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, noodles and a couple of meats. Overall it's a fine experience, mostly Ok to Good. But the lack of some things makes it more second tier for me and it would not be a go to hot pot place for me

Just like I mentioned in my review for Lameizi, that one is average, but Chunlahao is a little beyond average. It was at Chunlahao that I first learned about the so-called square bamboo shoot (方竹筍), and I liked it. But this time they were out of it, which was a pity. Another interesting thing happened when we ordered a plate of marinated beef. It looked fancy, arranged in a green and red Tai Chi shape, very beautiful. But when I tried to put it into the pot, I realized the plate only had the decoration but no beef. We told the waiters and they also found it funny. They replaced the plate for us. The restaurant was much brighter than the last time I visited, maybe because they changed the lights. We also had more people with us this time. I guess that is why I felt like giving a higher score. On the outside it only says "Chong Qing Hot Pot". This place is pretty big actually. When you walk in, there's like a bit of a walk from the entrance to the actual dining area. The inside is also nicely decorated and themed. There are two "bars". One bar has all of your dipping sauces that you can make and it has jar sesame oil. There is another bar on the other side which has things like Sesame balls and other dessert like items. The service here is really good. They come check on you very often. Make sure your soup isn't empty and the food comes really quickly. The quality of the food is pretty good too. The meat is well marbled and the vegetables are pretty fresh. The soup broth I got was the spicy one which is like the traditional hot pot soup with the oil and the bone broth. The bone broth soup is actually really good. It's not bland and the spicy hotpot is actually really spicy. Overall, the experience is really good. Compared to Hai Di Lao to this place, I think this place is a bit better in terms of service and pricing but Hai Di Lao is better is presentation. The bone broth soup at Hai Di Lao is very bland and doesn't taste like anything compared to here. This place also has dessert items like sesame balls which is pretty good. I highly recommend trying this place out. 5/5. The only downfall I would say is the restroom, it just doesn't have good ventilation and smells.

The mushroom soup base is a must--rich, flavorful, and especially perfect when paired with rice. It's one of those broths you actually want to finish, not just cook in. Service here has consistently been great. Yes, there's usually a wait, but that's because this place is always packed--it's constantly poppin, and for good reason. Disclaimer first, i'm a huge fan of chinese style hotpot. Luckily all that shabu offers a selection of broth and sauces. They are true japanese style, so don't expect mala here, even the chili oil is a bit hidden on containers a bit away from the sauce bar. I tried the spicy beef broth, it has miso flavor and slightly tangy undertone. It has heat, but not spicy at all. The spicy pine sauce and wasabi ponzu (the best!) fulfills my search for heat in this place. All the sauces (except sesame sauce) has acidity/tangyness in it. The meat are good quality and very thin so it's ready in just a few dips. The brisket is fatty, and it's my favorite but only at this place thanks to the acidic profile that cuts through the rich fats. The short plate is very thin and tender, the flat iron steak is more lean. The chuck eye is kinda the middle ground. Unfortunately lamb only served as dinner menu. The vegetable and mushrooms bar have adequate variety, but they only have two kinds of tofu which is soft tofu and fried tofu pockets. No beancurds/tofu skin. They have more selection in seafood though. There's ice cream, soda fountain, green tea and black tea, and even buffet food like fried rice and wonton etc. Overall it's a well-priced hotpot for good quality ingredients, with japanese style broths. The inside was huge and dimly lit, and they had a large self serve bar for hot sides, drinks, hot pot toppings like veggies and seafood, sauces, and dessert. It was a great vibe! There's a pretty large variety of broths to pick from which is nice. We both got the spicy beef, which tasted rich and tomatoey so it was different than a typical beef bone broth that I expected! It was nice because the acidity helped to balance with the richness of the meats. Of all the meats, our favorites were the brisket and the beef short plate. Personally I like to know which meats are which but sometimes when I asked, the servers couldn't really tell them apart so it kinda sucked because I wanted to know which ones I actually liked to order more of those. They were quick with taking our orders though and meats came out really quick. For hot sides, they had a large variety of things, such as fried rice, crab, crispy fried chicken, kimchi, and more. I liked that there was variety! I just think that overall, the experience didn't wow me as much as it did back then, but definitely cheaper than most places and so you get what you pay for!

I was lucky enough to snag a same-day reservation at dinner time for a party of five. It gets busy so I always recommend getting a reservation online. Parking is easy. There is a parking structure behind the restaurant. There aren't any big signs pointing to it so keep an eye out for a side street opening into a small parking garage. As always, the soups are very flavorful and the meats are always tender and delicious. They allow you to select two soups per pot and I always get a sukiyaki. I love that it comes with poached raw eggs too. I always get the beefs and they always hit so good. My favorite is the wagyu beef curry. It is soooo good and I always get multiple plates of it. Now, the reason why I gave this place 3/5 stars today is unfortunately due to the service. I usually have such a great time at the other Mo Mo Paradise locations I have been to, but unfortunately I felt extremely rushed during this visit. For the majority of our visit, we had a great time. But when we ordered our third round of meats, we found out that we had missed our "Last Call" time and only had 10 minutes left to sit. Our server had unfortunately forgotten to tell us when our "Last Call" was and did not ask us if we wanted to order anything else. This was so disappointing, since I felt like we had barely ordered any meats at this point. Feels bad, especially considering we spent $250+ for this meal. They did give us ice cream, but during these last 10 minutes, the server kept coming to our table saying - "you only have 7 minutes left... you only have 4 minutes left... etc." I was rushing to eat my ice cream so fast. At one point, the server started clearing our plates and our pots while we were finishing our meal. I remember eating a carrot and the server almost pulled the plate from me as I took a bite :( She said she would come back in a minute... The server seemed to be guilt tripping us a little bit too :// She kept telling us that the next party was waiting for our specific table, but I found that to be weird because the empty table behind us could seat six but they weren't in any rush to finish cleaning that other table for some reason. My friends and I usually come out of Mo Mo Paradise so full and happy, but we just had a sour taste left in our mouth because of they rushing us. We also were unable to eat to our hearts' content :( It was weird, when I left the restaurant there really only seemed to be about five people waiting too... Just not sure what was going on that day but it was Memorial Day weekend... maybe they were understaffed or something... This was a really disappointing experience because of this. I have very high expectations for Mo Mo Paradise and normally this place would get more than 5 stars for me, but it just fell a little short that day.

I love thrifty ice cream, with Rite Aid gone, I savor every chance I get to have Coconut Pineapple ice cream. I had the canned Herbal Tea and Milk tea, both are very good. The herbal tea was sweet, almost like dates. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
