We tried a tri-pot soup bases pot and all 3 of these non-spicy soup bases tasted so good with rich ingredients. All the food qualifies are so good and fresh. This is definitely one of the go-to place if I want to each hotpot. The servers are very nice and always timely to refill our soup bases.

This place is spacious. The bone soup base is so delicious, we almost drank all the soup after finishing all the meat. Must try the wagyu beef and shrimp meatball, the beef is so soft and melted in your mouth. The servers are very nice and responsive, thank you! We will definitely come again!

I have to say Yuan's Hotpot is a bit of a hidden gem in the area. It's a very nice hotpot place with a nice interior. Ordered a bunch of food and I was not disappointed with the quality of each item. They have a huge variety but I remember there was no taro on the menu. Ordered the pork bone broth and it was really flavorful, like so flavorful that I didn't actually need a soup base. The heat source is pretty strong and heats up the soup quickly. The service here, although most of it was DIY like the sauce and the cooking is up to you, they came by relatively often and made sure there was enough soup. The parking entrance is a bit tight and you may over shoot it if you're not careful. Just drive carefully up to it. They also have a secondary lot in the event the primary lot is full. They have arrows pointing to it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would definitely come back. Wish they had taro on the menu though

So good we cleaned the table , soup waa amazing and yummy. Would recommend to everyone

Absolutely loved this hot pot spot Everything about the experience was on point. The ingredients were super fresh -- you can really taste the quality in the meats, veggies, and seafood. The broth was rich and flavorful (perfect level of spice ), and everything cooked beautifully. Service was impressively fast and attentive without being overbearing. We never had to wait long for anything, and staff made sure we were taken care of throughout. The restaurant itself was also very clean and well-maintained, which always makes a big difference for me when it comes to hot pot places. Overall, such a satisfying and fun dining experience. Definitely one of the better hot pot spots I've tried -- I'll 100% be coming back!

The ingredients are super fresh, they really put effort into the food, and the place has a great vibe. Definitely worth checking out!

Amazing ambience, easy parking, and great service. Price point is good and the food quality is top notch. I like how they offer three flavored hot pots.

Nice ~ I love this pot!!

The interior was clean and quiet the pots was golden tiger which I didn't see before.. the menu.. don't really know because I went with my Chinese friend and she ordered everything for me.. fiod food was fresh and we ordered too much we had to take the leftovers home I definitely come back for special occasions.. The service was ok.. nothing unusual

It's good tasty the drinks is good I love the Miyazaki wagyu and stuff it tastes good

Mushroom broth, bone broth, and spicy broth. Short ribs.

It's not all you can eat but it makes up for it in really good quality meat. Self service bar has fresh vegetables and sooo many sauces to choose from! Our bill was $90 for two and we left full with five rounds of meat and tofu, which is still very close to what we spend anyway at all you can eat spots. The service was awesome and the servers are so attentive to detail. They rounded frequently and took away empty plates quickly; we never had to ask for anything or micromanage their service at all. They notice everything like water refills and broth refills, without us having to prompt them. Big shout out to Cathy and Jian! We'll be back!

This is one of our favorite hot pot places in LA. The buffet bar has some good varieties of cold dishes. The bone broth is my favorite and we picked the combo soup. Service is excellent too

Very yummy and so fun with big group!

Good service, yummy food and nice ambiance. Nice decors ! Good for big group. We had a party of 9 and they let us sit altogether in a round table. We had a great time and very kids friendly. There are all other options for kids and all you can eat dessert. The kids love the dessert bar.

After they left, we were the only party there. It wasn't as busy as it used to be to be. After looking at their menu online, we saw that the lunch price ended at 3:30pm, so we got there before that time. When we were there, we were handed a new menu where lunch is from 11:00-3:00pm and dinner from 4:00-11:00pm. We were asked to pay the dinner price, The waiter just said his manager told him to tell everyone that, but the menu doesn't state the price between 3:00-4:00pm. The online menu also needs to be updated. As for the food, the hot food selection has gone downhill. Not as much variety as before. Mostly fried foods, not as much greens as before. The dessert selection was only oranges and a jello dessert. The meat was sliced super thin, so it wasn't chewy. I would say the service was just ok. One waiter was catering to us, but he was also busy doing other things in the kitchen. Would I come back here again, probably not. I just feel like everything should be transparent, so the trust is there.

Other places have passed them by in some respects First there is no sauce bar here. Just four small containers of sauces you can use. Ironically none of those sauces are soy sauce. A darker possible peanut sauce, a sesame sauce, a pinkish possibly fermented tofu sauce and the standard chili oil. I wanted more as far as the sauce goes and I thought a sauce bar was pretty standard these days Second there is no AYCE bar with small snacks. Kind of interesting When ordering the meat, I guess they wanted to save a plate so the sliced meats just came in plastic containers. That loses some points with me on presentation Other than that everything is fine. They charge a little less for the broth than a lot of places do, so that's nice Got vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, noodles and a couple of meats. Overall it's a fine experience, mostly Ok to Good. Service was very bad. We were seated, ordered, and brought the food. We never were spoken to again and had to call over two different staff members to get the bill, then pay for it. Just like I mentioned in my review for Lameizi, that one is average, but Chunlahao is a little beyond average. It was at Chunlahao that I first learned about the so-called square bamboo shoot (方竹筍), and I liked it. But this time they were out of it, which was a pity. Another interesting thing happened when we ordered a plate of marinated beef. It looked fancy, arranged in a green and red Tai Chi shape, very beautiful. But when I tried to put it into the pot, I realized the plate only had the decoration but no beef. We told the waiters and they also found it funny. They replaced the plate for us. The restaurant was much brighter than the last time I visited, maybe because they changed the lights. We also had more people with us this time. I guess that is why I felt like giving a higher score. It must have been the better atmosphere.

On the outside it only says "Chong Qing Hot Pot". This place is pretty big actually. When you walk in, there's like a bit of a walk from the entrance to the actual dining area. The inside is also nicely decorated and themed. There are two "bars". One bar has all of your dipping sauces that you can make and it has jar sesame oil. There is another bar on the other side which has things like Sesame balls and other dessert like items. The service here is really good. They come check on you very often. Make sure your soup isn't empty and the food comes really quickly. The quality of the food is pretty good too. The meat is well marbled and the vegetables are pretty fresh. The soup broth I got was the spicy one which is like the traditional hot pot soup with the oil and the bone broth. The bone broth soup is actually really good. It's not bland and the spicy hotpot is actually really spicy. Overall, the experience is really good. Compared to Hai Di Lao to this place, I think this place is a bit better in terms of service and pricing but Hai Di Lao is better is presentation. The bone broth soup at Hai Di Lao is very bland and doesn't taste like anything compared to here. This place also has dessert items like sesame balls which is pretty good. I highly recommend trying this place out. 5/5. The only downfall I would say is the restroom, it just doesn't have good ventilation and smells.

We came for Sunday dinner with a large group of family, we ended up splitting into two tables (which also means splitting the checks into two). There wasn't a crowd or wait at 5:30pm, but courses to 6:30pm is when the crowd started coming in. We ordered using the paper menu and got the split hotpot with spicy broth (mild) and nonspicy broth. My family ordered everything and I'm good with anything they ordered so I just went to the sauce station to get snacks and sauce ready, I ate a lot of bean noodles, they weren't overly spicy but a nice subtle numbing spice and saltiness, very delicious and cooling sensation. We ordered lamb, beef, vegetables, mushroom, crab sticks, and tofu for the hotpot. The spicy broth was actually pretty spicy for me so I couldn't eat from there butt family said it was good. Since the broths are boiling right next to each other, it's just a matter of time before the nonspicy gets a bit of the spicy oil mixed in. The staff were very accommodating, they got it done right away and even refilled or drinks almost every time they passed by. My son ate some beef slices with sesame paste sauce I made, I'm glad he had some as he usually eats the sesame balls, snacks, and chips. Overall, this location seems pretty much the same as the other one in Rowland heights, I didn't feel like it was different or which was better. I've been here twice now, and it's quickly become one of my favorite Sichuan-style hot pot spots. The restaurant has a modern Chinese aesthetic that feels a bit more upscale than Hai Di Lao, making it a great place for a nice dinner with friends or family. One of my favorite parts is the sauce bar, which has plenty of options to customize your perfect dipping sauce. We always order the half-and-half soup base with the spicy beef broth and the pork bone broth--the perfect combination of bold heat and rich, comforting flavor. Our go-to order includes plenty of greens, shiitake mushrooms, noodles, shrimp balls, and generous plates of sliced Wagyu and ribeye. Everything has been fresh and delicious each time we've visited. The snack and dessert station is another highlight. They offer a surprisingly large variety of chips, sesame balls, candies, desserts, and other little bites. Honestly, I'm always too full from the hot pot itself to sample everything, but I love having the option! They also serve refreshing iced fruit teas and a good selection of beers to pair with your meal. The only downside is the service. It can be a bit slow, likely because there only seems to be one server covering the dining room. They're friendly, but the restaurant could definitely benefit from more staff. It's also on the pricier side compared to some other hot pot restaurants in the area, but between the quality of the food, the extensive snack and dessert station, and the beautiful ambiance, I think it's worth the splurge. I'll definitely be coming back.

We tried meats #1-3 from the regular menu and #8-9 from the weekend/dinner menu. Overall, the meat quality was decent, but I would definitely recommend ordering from the weekend/dinner menu if it's available. Those selections were noticeably better than the standard options. The service was attentive throughout our meal. The staff checked in regularly and promptly took our next round of meat orders whenever we ran out. You can order up to three items per round for the table. As expected for an AYCE (all-you-can-eat) hot pot restaurant, there were self-serve stations for vegetables, seafood, noodles, and sauces along the back of the restaurant. The vegetables were fresh, and the buffet areas were clean and well maintained. Parking was also convenient since the restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of other stores and restaurants.

Finally decided to try All That Shabu in Alhambra this past weekend, and I was pleasantly…read moresurprised. When we arrived on a Saturday night, the restaurant was moderately busy, but the wait wasn't outrageous. Our server did a great job explaining how everything worked. It's 90 minutes of all-you-can-eat for $35.00 per person, and you're allowed to order up to three types of meat per round. The restaurant is set up well. Off to the left is a self-serve station stocked with vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, seafood, and other hot pot essentials. Drinks are also self-serve, and they even have a soft-serve ice cream machine if you want something sweet after your meal. One thing I really appreciated was the variety of hot foods available. They offered items you don't typically find at a standard shabu restaurant, which was a nice surprise. I also noticed a sign explaining that the hot food selection changes regularly, so each visit may offer something a little different. There's also a dipping sauce station where you can customize your sauces exactly how you like them. I ordered the house broth, which had a mild, lingering spice. It added plenty of flavor without leaving that overpowering heat that lingers long after you're done eating. My partner chose the miso broth, which was rich, creamy, and earthy--you really can't go wrong with a good miso broth. The meat is sliced fresh after you place your order, and you can definitely tell the difference. The slices were tender and cooked beautifully in the broth. They also offer four different noodle options. I went with the classic egg noodles this time, but next visit I'll probably try the buckwheat noodles since it's been a while since I've had a good bowl with them. When you're finished, you simply pay near the entrance, making the checkout process quick and easy. My only real complaint was that it was a little difficult to flag someone down when I needed more broth added to my pot. I like keeping enough broth in the pot so it doesn't begin to scorch the bottom, and it took a bit longer than expected to get someone's attention. Other than that, I really enjoyed the overall experience. The staff gives you plenty of space to enjoy your meal without constantly interrupting, making it a great place to catch up with family and friends. The music was at a comfortable volume, allowing conversations and laughter to fill the room without having to talk over loud speakers. One thing to keep in mind if you're coming with a large group: the largest table I saw comfortably seated six people. Since the tables are bolted to the floor, larger parties will likely need to split between multiple tables. Overall, I'd definitely come back. Between the fresh meats, customizable broths and sauces, the rotating hot food selection, and the relaxed atmosphere, All That Shabu is a great spot if you're looking for quality hot pot in a laid-back setting. At $35.00 per person, I thought it was a great value. With tax and tip, our total came to $92 for two people, which felt very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal with fresh ingredients and plenty of variety. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing hot pot experience with friends or family.

We hadn't come back because our first visit felt very rushed and they didnt have ice & other items that day. This visit luckily was better with items being replenished pretty quickly or on request. Broths: We liked the Tonkatasu and Sukiyaki. I tried the the house, but it didn't have much flavor and I had to add some chili to it for more flavors. I drank more of the tonkatsu broth as a soup since it was so good. A little disappointed they dont offer a spicier soup base for spicy lovers. Meats: We liked the Short plate and chuck eye the best but all of them were good to eat. No issues on our meat orders, you just have the 5 or 6 options for regular menu. Our server was attentive and checked in for refilling our meats pretty timely. We were given last call about 30 minutes before time was supposed to be up. For the price, we felt there are many other places that offer more in the self service area with seafood options and other foods or drinks included. If you're just there for basic hot pot, then this will satisfy you if you don't care for those other items and it would be a 4*. For us, we enjoy the other things we can get at other places for a comparable price and felt there was more to be desired.

They offer premium and prime options for their AYCE hot pot. Their prime menu was $52.95 and offered 9 different soup bases, 17 meat options, self serve bar filled with veggies, noodles and meat balls, drink stations and ice cream. I got the split pot with sukiyaki and jelly golden chicken broth. The sukiyaki was slightly sweet and full of umami flavor. The jelly golden chicken was flavorful and comforting. You can tell they boil down chicken bones from the chicken fat in the soup. They have 3 meats on the prime menu that were wagyu. All 3 were super tender and required little to no chewing. The abalone were massive and firm yet tender. We got the shrimp paste as well which was flavorful and filled with chunks of shrimp. The veggies were fresh and I enjoyed the variety. My favorites were the crown daisy, spinach, enoki mushrooms and Napa. They even have the sweet potato wide rice noodles that are slimy and chewy. Not a lot of AYCE places have it so it's a rare find. The staff here speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English so ordering was not an issue. They have a small lot in the back with about a dozen spots which wasn't an issue on the week day.

No wait and attentive service. The veggie bar is well stocked with a variety of options. Ordering was easy, pick level of pricing. Bowl type, Soup base and up to 6 meat at a time. The owner was really nice, she helped us take a pic and also took a pic for the photo wall in the back. I had split sukiayki and the mala spicy soup, both good. I also tried the tonkatsu, it was tasty. Meat took some time to come out but seafood is very fresh. The shrimp and mussel from the premium menu is very fresh. The drinks and ice cream are included. I love thrifty ice cream, with Rite Aid gone, I savor every chance I get to have Coconut Pineapple ice cream. I had the canned Herbal Tea and Milk tea, both are very good. The herbal tea was sweet, almost like dates. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
