With a big chain like Yum Yum Donuts you expect a certain level of consistency and maybe even better quality. That has not really been my experience. This review is based on at least three separate visits. I do food reviews often and I never base an opinion off just one bad visit because everyone has off days. I usually give a place two or three chances before I decide how I feel when it's a bad experience. The food itself is not bad. The donuts are average and the bagels are decent but nothing that really stands out. The service is about the same. Employees get the job done but it always feels off. It is never great and it is never terrible, just somewhere in the middle. One thing I do appreciate is the value. Today I ordered their $10.99 breakfast special which comes with your choice of a burrito, a bagel sandwich, or a bowl, plus a donut and a coffee or drink. That is actually a pretty good deal. Most places charge around $13 just for a bagel sandwich, so getting the extra donut and drink included is a nice surprise. Overall Yum Yum Donuts is reliable for a quick bite if you are in the mood for something simple. I would not call this a bad review because it is not. It is just an honest reflection of what to expect. I am sure I will be back again when I want something quick and convenient.

A quick and easy place to pick up some donuts or a sandwich. Sandwiches are made on site to your liking as well as bagels. They have a good selection of donuts which is always a plus.

Pretty good bagel sandwich. Bacon and egg with cheese cream cheese on an everything bagel. Wish yum yum would carry better bacon Bad parking. Call in your order if I'm the morning to avoid the long line.

I drive by here on my way to work every morning and stop in once a week to pick up something for myself and my coworkers. At 4 a.m. the display case is pretty well stocked. Unfortunately, at the early hour what they don't have are apple fritters, which are my absolute favorite. They aren't ready until a little later in the morning. I have had their apple fritters before and they are the bomb! The donuts are always fresh. Nice and fluffy on the inside. Never dry or stale. My favorites are the old fashioned with chocolate or maple. I've also had their specialty donuts topped with Oreos or chocolate chips or crushed candy bars. Currently, they have one topped with candy corn for Halloween. I'll have to try that one next week. Their muffins are also very good as are their croissants, bagels, and donut holes. The store is very clean and the people that work here are very friendly. They have a smile on their face even at 4 a.m. There is a small parking lot in front as well as street parking.

It's a complete shame when you go get breakfast in the morning and you go out of your way to a spot that hasn't failed you before but now since the pandemic the quality and customer service has taken a turn for the worse. I ordered this morning 2 garlic and cheese Sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a large iced coffee with vanilla flavoring for me and a coworker. I put the food in my car and I headed to work! I get to work in about eight minutes and I'm so hungry I dig in and I feel the bread hard, the food did not smell satisfactory. I take a huge gulp of the ice coffee and I nearly spit it out... they put so much ice in already PRE-MADE coffee and it just took away from all the flavor! They added vanilla syrup and half and half and it only made it worse in my opinion! I ask my friend how he feels and his opinion is the same! I call the store and speak to Marcela Lopez and tell her the food tasted horrible and I would like a refund. This is where it gets FUNNY! I speak to one person and tell her the situation, she then hands the phone to someone else. That person then tells me well, you waited 8 mins to eat your food... WTF?! What, I'm supposed to inhale my food the moment I get it? Is she telling me the food would've tasted better if I had eaten it 8 mins sooner?? Are you for fucking real?? She then goes on to tell us that she wants us to bring the food BACK, and show her the food!! I can't leave work to just appease this woman! I spent $20 on food that isn't even edible! It's sad, I had to go to McDonald's to have breakfast instead! What has this world come to?! And the best part??? I waited 15 MINUTES to eat my McDonald's and it was still HOT AND FRESH! So much for their lame ass excuse of you waited "To Long To Eat It" I order food off uber eats all the time and my food is ALWAYS tasty!

Chocolate peanut and chocolate cake donut. $1.29 each. Open 24 hours and accept cards (no minimum)

I really like their donuts. They're not too sweet which is best for me. Also they're not too soft like other donut places. I tried the chocolate peanut donut and chocolate cake donut. The former was perfect in terms of sweetness and firmness of the dough. The latter wasn't sweet at all, it was like eating a chocolate bread that wasn't sweet. Each donut was $1.29, which I thought should be $1 lol... but they're open 24 hours. So I guess it makes up for it. Not so many selections but they're solid so far. They accept cards (no minimum), so that is a huge plus for me. I'd be back for sure.

I'm from the Bay Area but I've been to Cafe Dulce several times. My wife and I really like their Hong Kong Tea Latte and their Matcha drink, as well as their various donuts and baked goods. In the morning rush they can be a little busy but the staff work hard. On a recent visit I saw people eating their steak breakfast burritos, so I ordered one for myself and a coworker. The burritos were reasonable size, the steak was seasoned well, and the breakfast burrito had potatoes in it (I only like breakfast burritos that have potatoes/hash browns/tots in it). Keep supporting the classics, not just because they've been around for a while, but because they have strong products and service.

Mochi Twist ($5)-- Nice and dense mochi texture? I guess it's hard to describe but it's not hollow and airy like a typical donut. There's some chew to it. And it's not too sweet! Blueberry Roti ($4)-- Flaky crumble on top and blueberry jam?? YES YESSSS. I liked this so much I'd definitely go back for it. Blueberry jam is so underrated and it's rare to find it in a pastry! Makes for a good sweet lil treat. Hot latte ($5)-- Perfect!! No complaints. Not too milky, not too light. Good ratio. I was actually kind of worried ordering a latte because not every place does it right but it's good here! Iced blueberry matcha ($6?)-- I see lots of good things about this drink on here but ooooooof... it missed the mark and by a LOOOT too. It was green sweet cereal milk. Where's the matcha? Where's the blueberry? It was so confusing because I see the green and I know I ordered matcha... but it's just sweet milk! And it's not even blueberry flavored milk. Did they forget the blueberry jam? Syrup? Whatever they use? Because it just tastes like the milk after a bowl of Frosted Flakes or something like that. Very sad, very disappointing. Ended up tossing after a couple sips. ANDDD for those matcha purists this is NOOOT the place for you! They have it pre mixed in a milk gallon. So we just saw green milk coming out of a gallon into this cup like yeppppp ok expectations immediately lowered. Anyways, hot latte is good and the 2 pastries I got were good! Steer clear of the matcha!!!

It's light and fresh, not like the fake, overly sweet crap you get at most bakeries here in the US. I think I've ordered from them 6 times in the last two weeks, which probably says it all. Flour Fresh Creme Donut has been around for three years now, so that says a lot about how much people like what they have to offer. I naively went in looking for a traditional ring donut. You won't find anything like that here. They primarily have the Korean-style fresh cream donuts. Again, I was looking for a traditional donut, and the closest thing I saw was the flour twist donut. It was nothing like a glazed twist donut; the only similarity was that it was twisted. It seemed to be baked, not fried. It was very good quality, but I really messed up by not getting a creme-filled donut instead. My friend had a pecan roll and loved it. The quality of the product here is top tier for sure. The prices are premium, but the quality matches the price. They also sell sandwiches as well as coffee and tea drinks. I will certainly go back and try one of the many creme-filled donuts.
