Zakys is always good , fresh , tasty . Greek salad is my go too , also falafel, and the chicken kabobs. The rotisserie chicken is also fire . All the sauces and sides are always on point as well Staff is always friendly, I usually call in so I don't have to wait long But they can get busy at times as well ! Always good tho !

The pita bread however really stinks! It was thin, and almost crispy like. Pita should be soft and fluffy.

The chicken and rice is amazing! Pita bread really terrible. Thin and dry. I'll still come back but you should really step up your pita game. It truly makes a meal.

Two protein plate with 3 sides. This is supposedly two sides of fries. 12 fries in total.

I really like the food from this place BUT I wish they were constant with what they give you. I always order the same thing and I always get different portions of things. The two protein plate comes with 3 sides, I asked for veggies and two sides of fries. I spent 27 dollars! And they gave me 12 fries I went back and asked and the worker told me that was the amount but last time I asked for the same thing and they gave a bag of fries plus what was in my plate. Sadly my last time going here. Go to chino pollo or Juan pollo, you'll get waaay more for your moneys worth

    Quarter white meat plate.

Whenever I find myself in the I.E. I make sure and stop off here. Food is always so good. Made to order. Service is always friendly. Place is nice and clean. Not a date night type of place. Some places just to grab some healthy lunch.

Food was great the half of chicken was most and tender. Cucumber/Yogurt sauce was way too watery for my liking.

Of course, I had to order their rendang dish with their nasi kuning (yellow rice)/coconut rice mix and side of tempe. And of course, es cendol was a must! It was absolutely delicious!! I love the decor of the cafe, it's very homey but also exuberates the love for Indonesia. It's a loving mom and pop kind of business! We took our food to go because they looked swamped. We ordered the special plate, the gado-gado vegetarian dish, and a bunch of pastries from their small baked goods section. The special combo rice plate included a piece of chicken on a bed of shredded cabbage, what looked like two types of rice, some beef rendang, a side of curry that had green beans, onions, and chayote. And a nice fried boiled egg. I might be missing a meat, but it was a really wonderful sampler of some of their delicious dishes and thought it was great. The gado gado was actually delicious, I love their peanut sauce that goes great with the tofu, melon/radish, and egg! The cocopandan soda was pretty good, tasted like a cream soda/italian cream soda but when you get that cocopandan froth it's definitely more distinct! I don't think it has a strong pandan coconut flavor but it's good! I actually really liked their pastries--we had the Risole, Lemper, Dutch roll, and banana chocolate roll. When we come back I'd really like to try some noodle dishes and their Kaya toast! Risole was delicious, the roll is soft and tastes like a chicken pot pie, it comes with this absolutely addicting orange sauce, which was my personal favorite from the ones we tried. The lemper was warm, sticky rice well made with a sort of curry chicken inside. We had more of the addicting orange sauce. The Dutch roll is beef and kale mix, reminded me of a meat pie, it was still crispy on the outside. The banana chocolate roll is exactly what you'd expect! Pretty good. We enjoyed the food at kedai and appreciate this family carrying a big dream. You can feel the love they put into their pastries. We'll see you again soon Kedai!

As for the food, we ordered the pad see yew and pad kee mao (spicy) which was enough to the both of us to share. The flavor was there for the noodle dishes. One of the appetizers we bought was the crispy onion rings and the fried "shrimp" which was imitation crab. It felt very rubbery in texture and the flavor was not there. Wouldn't recommend it. The onion rings were good though --I liked the batter it was made with. The interior was cozy, there was searing for groups of 4 or 6 comfortably. Definitely a nice little spot for dinner or lunch for all the vegans or vegetarians.

If you're looking for the definitive Lebanese experience in the IE, this is the order to beat. The Breakdown: * The Trio Grill: You get a sampling of everything--chicken, beef, and kefta kebabs. The chicken kebab was the standout for me; it was incredibly tender and had that perfect open-flame char that you just can't replicate at home. * Baba Ghanoush: This was a smoky revelation. You can taste the fire-roasted eggplant in every bite, and the texture was perfectly whipped and creamy without losing its soul. It's easily some of the best in the area. * Tabouleh: So many places use too much bulgur, but Mezzaterranean does it right. It was a bright, herbaceous explosion of fresh parsley and lemon that cut through the richness of the grilled meats perfectly. * The Extras: It all comes together with their fluffy rice and warm pita. Pro tip: use the pita to make little "mini-tacos" with a piece of chicken, a dollop of baba ghannouj, and a pinch of tabouleh. The Verdict: The portions on the Trio Plate are massive (definitely enough to share, though you might not want to). Everything tasted fresh, vibrant, and authentic. It's clear this family-run spot puts a lot of heart into their recipes. 10/10, will be back for more of that garlic sauce!

I remember reading a long time ago that Alyssa Milano as a proud Italian did not eat spaghetti…read morebecause it was too commercialized and over-utilized in America. She ate other pastas. I didn't have any grand reason as that for preferring linguine as my pasta noodle of choice. My favorite childhood Italian family food joint used linguine as their "spaghetti" so that was what I thought of when it came to most pairings of sauce to noodle. Pomodoro, bolognese, and even my current sauce of choice, chili, will always be paired with linguine if I had my druthers. So it's always a bit disappointing to see a fresh pasta place not even offer it on the menu. I don't think it's a fair measuring stick comparing linguine to a spaghetti, a fett, or even a rotelle like I had here. They will never measure up because the mouth feel wil always be off. Don't mistake me; the rotelle Pomodoro was quite tasty, especially with that decent-sized meatball and focaccia on the side. That sauce was even a good choice because I always liked the simpler sauces. But always, always I think about how much better the meal would've gone with a nice linguine steering the ship. The service was good, if a bit brusque. The food came out quick and the server was even nicer serving than when I ordered. I like the ambiance too. Everything is spaced nicely for a restaurant this size. It feels relaxing in here and a place you can could host a good meal with a small set of friends. I don't think you need any more than that if it's a casual night. All in all, I like this place and will hit it up again if I feel like a non-linguine pasta night.
