This place takes so many HUGE take out orders that it takes 20-30 minutes to get a meal if you walk in at lunch time. All the employees are doing is packing massive bags for delivery drivers. The customer service in this location is terrible. A bunch of surly employees who just couldn't care less. I stood at the cash register for a full minute before the person even acknowledged me. I will not be back to this location. Very poorly managed! They ran out of Tarna chicken due to large volume of takeout orders. All walk up customers had to wait. No apologies from any manager. This location specifically is located near the freeway exit, for easy access from the 5 FWY. Inside has lots of boots and tables. Good location in Burbank - parking is easy. Placed a phone order and the girl on the phone was very nice and patient as I am not a good food order-er on the phone. Got there and my food wasn't quite ready. I checked into Yelp as I always do and there was some Thanksgiving deal about a free falafel wrap but it had to do with buying a gift card and wasn't valid until the weekend. (They really shouldn't add it to the app until its valid, but whatever). Got my food after a few minutes of waiting. Staff is very nice and food was packed well and tasty. read more

Comes with rice, cheese, olives and you pick one protein, two sides, and two sauces. The location is also conveniently located in the same shopping center as Starbucks and Sprouts which means tons of parking available. The staff here is also extremely friendly which I appreciated it. If I can give zero stars. DO NOT GO BY THE PICTURES OF THE WRAPS. They are a holy mess, and half the ingredients in the picture are left out. I had the tritip wrap. As you can see, it doesn't look like anything like the picture. They only put meat at both ends, so it looks full of meat. Wait, it gets better. I ordered online only to find out my order was canceled, somehow. I had to re-order and waited 20 minutes for the takeaway food. The manager I think she was the only one in black was unsympathetic. This review is about the coolest thing in the world, what I call the "talking tree". We sat in the center of the place around the tree, and across from us sat another group. The weirdest acoustic illusion happens here where you can hear even a whisper from the other side of the tree, magnified as if it was coming out of a speaker next to your ear. I came here for dinner with a big group, some picky eaters and some very adventurous eaters, all of which were able to find something they loved on the menu. The Mediterranean style came in a To go box filled with food. Meat and 3 sides. I tried the beef shawarma with hummus, baba, and tabouli. The sides were my favorite. Meat was tasty but a little on the fatty side. We ordered a side of the Excellent falafel too. Prices were good, $8-$12 on average. We had plenty of leftovers for breakfast the next day too. True story, I had middle eastern food earlier today and was not satisfied so I went for more middle eastern food and of course it was Zankou Chicken. I was really craving koobideh but lule is quite similar. What to expect at this Zankou Chicken: a gorgeous environment, bustling kitchen, friendly and efficient service, and the most delicious plates of food! What I had tonight: I ordered the lule plate and a small eggplant salad called mutabbal. The presentation was just fabulous. Everything was piping hot, freshly cooked and brought to my table. I was building a pita with some lule, basmati rice, their texture flavor rich hummus, grilled tomato, the garlic spread. Oh my goodness I was in heaven. Just as I was feeling like a queen the lady who took my order came around asking everyone how their meal was- what quality service. Zankou is on top of it their food is a solid 10, the service is a 10, the portions are just ridiculous. The plate I ordered could've easily been shared between two people. I honestly can't get enough. I don't get tired of this deliciousness. If I could bathe in the garlic sauce, I would. It's so good I can slather it in everything. I usually get the family meal which is an awesome value, healthy and tasty for me and my small family. It's enough for two meals for us. The whole chicken is always moist and flavorful throughout. The Kabobs are so good and tasty! 4 stars because they can often seem unorganized with their orders, and behind the service counter looks messy. There tends to be a lot of people back there for such a slim space. Not crazy about their service but it could be because they're always so busy. Otherwise, I've never had a bad experience and I eat here often. In terms of food, if they could make fresh, straight from the oven pita, I'd eat here every day. read more

Food is good. The service is horrible. They have two cashiers who apparently been told to prioritize phone calls than the people waiting in line to order. Both cashiers on todays visit were taking phone calls and disregarding the people in line. When they ended the call, immediately answered the next call. I had to speak up and ask them to pay attention to the people in line. One of them could have focused on the people in line and the other focus on the calls. But both?! Shame on Zankou management. Like many food places after covid, the business needs to make up their mind how they are going to serve. As an online / phone order company or in person. Ordered food through Uber eats I had missing items called the restaurant I was on the phone with the manager for 15 minutes instead of rectifying the situation she was arguing with me about how they sent everything and accusing me of basically lying about not receiving the items. I told her to refund me for the missing items she refused. The portions were half of what it used to be and the sides (humus and tahini) had spilled all out of the container. I wouldn't have even known to sign up for the rewards program.. I visit there a lot because of the amount of clean eats they have! Worth a try when rushing to your next adventure. We came here for a quick lunch when we were in the Burbank area. I had tried Zankou once (West LA location near UCLA) and really enjoyed it, especially that addicting garlic sauce. I ordered the Chicken Tarna, which was filled with chicken, tomatoes and garlic sauce. I was sad when I unwrapped it and the pita completely broke apart. I definitely wish the pita were stronger and could withstand the wrapping LOL. I asked for garlic sauce on the side and doused my wrap in it. So addicting and delicious! The chicken was a little dry, though the garlic sauce made up for it. I would come back and try one of the many other options here! read more

Easy order and pick up. I ordered online and it was ready at the time it was supposed to be. The food is always great!

We ordered at 12:57pm Sun April 7th for take out order but did not get our order until 1:25pm. All others behind us got their orders ahead of us but ours we still had to wait because they didn't even make the wrap until we asked. On top of that they gave us 2 pcs pita bread when we originally asked for extra and extra garlic spread. Again I went back to get more pita & spread and asked what took so long on our order, lady says because they were still making the wrap with no apologies no other greetings and gave me a look.
