The food is good, but the drink was better. Trish our server is super sweet and attentive. The restaurant was not too busy, and clean. We sat near the open area, there was a cool breeze so that made it nice.

I attended a Yelp event at 13 Coins and what a memorable time! Located in Pioneer Square, hugged on a corner between Lumen Field and Embassy Suites, this gives it a wonderful location in a beautiful brick building. You walk in to a low lit, warm vibe. The servers were friendly. There's street parking available and we had no issue finding a spot at 5pm. Now what do they offer? They're known for their swiveling captain's chairs and all day breakfast! At our event, we tried their chicken & waffles, quiche, and mimosa. What a treat! Im still dreaming about the breading and flavor of their chicken - and I'm from the south so those are my credentials ;) We also tried their chicken parm sandwich and steak bites. The chicken parm sandwich was my husband and my favorite bite of the night. Again, the breading of this chicken was delicious. They ended the night with a chocolate mousse that was decadent. We can't wait to return and venture our way through the rest of the menu. Thanks Yelp & 13 Coins for hosting us.

I came here for the Elite event sponsored by Yelp, and I gotta say that I've been missing out. I've been coming to various different restaurants near the stadium area for years, and never bothered to check out 13 coins, and it's a huge mistake. First, the various bite sized food we got to try out was great. The Chicken and Waffle in particular stood out to me. You'd think it'd be a diner food menu, and not appropriate for the upscale venue that 13 coins is. However, the spicy syrup that it comes with plus very lightly fried layer of the chicken worked so well. The chicken parm, the frittata, and all the drinks were all fantastic, Second, the ambiance in the place is great too. I'd say it's a place to impress someone when you're going to an event at the stadium. The cozy interior with the cushioned booths and the low lamp lighting stands out as you walk around the place, and it's hard not to imagine that you are in some swanky speakeasy in a movie set. Strongly recommend. Finally, the service was great, but I was there for a catered event. So I'm not sure how representative my experience is for the normal visitors. However, all the staff seemed like the usual staff members at the restaurant and they were all above and beyond nice. Taking the time to explain each menu items was pleasant. Their efforts to let you know when more sampling plates were ready also showed their care. All in all, an amazing experience. Strongly recommend if you're trying to impress family members or a loved one, when you're nearby!

I went to an event at 13 coins and I had an experience that seemed to be both sides of the coin. I got to the event early and hung out in the lounge/bar until my wife arrived and the event started. It was a bit surreal sitting with Lumen Field Stadium lit up in the background. The bar had some regulars chatting and laughing, but this is Pioneer Square and let's say the area did create an interesting interaction inside the restaurant. When my lovely wife arrived we made our way downstairs to their event area. This is definitely the other side of the coin. The staff were incredible and attentive. I tried some of the small bites, and they were delicious. Im definitely not one to mix sweet food and savory food...but... the chicken was aggressively seasoned and I loved it. The waffle was delicious... I just can't eat them together. The frutatta was good. The chicken parmesan was really good, I had 2. The beef bite was delicious as well, my wife loved the sauce. Oh.. the small plate with the olives was a nice fresh break. We ended with a good chocolate mousse. Thank you 13 coins for a fun night with great service and atmosphere. The food made me want to come back for all the amazing flavors. My favorite was the chicken and waffle...eaten separately of course.

Very solid. Beautiful decor. It felt like it was an old establishment, but turns out it was recently constructed. I was very pleased with every aspect of the visit, the server, the food, the cocktail...excellent.

It's been a few years since the last time we were here, but I wanted to come back to try the antipasto martini (it was fine, but I wouldn't make a special trip again). I got the French onion soup and chicken parm and my bf got the veggie frittata. Everything was SO SALTY, the chicken was overcooked, and we never got water refills even though our server checked on us every 5 mins. I think we were her only table. We didn't tell her anything was wrong because she seemed new (not just to this restaurant, but to serving in general), and we were afraid any complaint would end up causing more trouble than it was worth. My soup and entree were brought at the exact same time, so that was our first clue. The decor is super cool. The downstairs bar seems like it would probably be more our vibe, but it wasn't open - it might just be for game days or something. But I think we'd limit ourselves to cocktails from now on, regardless. The food has missed the mark both times we've been, and it's well over $100 for 2 people with tip, so kind of an expensive failed experiment.

13 Coins is one of those classic Seattle spots that never disappoints. The service is consistently great friendly, attentive, and fast whether it's a busy night or a casual afternoon. The food is solid across the board, with big portions and reliable flavor that makes it easy to find something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out is the environment and (it's super close to my place) . It's perfect for family dinners, hanging out with friends on Seattle game days, or bringing out-of-town visitors who want that "Seattle staple" experience. The vibe is warm, lively, and welcoming without ever feeling overwhelming.

Varied menu. Service was sketchy initially as our reservation could not be confirmed. Prior to taking our order we were asked to confirm we did in fact have a reservation. My sesame seared ahi was missing pickled ginger. Waiter said they were out of pickled ginger.otherwise the meal was ok.

I'm up with an extra side of biscuits. Service was super attentive, and when I was asked if I wanted hot sauce for my eggs. The waiter brought it out unscrewed the top and laid it down on the table beside me. That was the extra mile for me, really simple. But extremely well appreciated. Portions were huge and I took home half. The biscuits were crispy and flakely and just hit the spot for what I wanted today. All the seats are high, back and cushioned totally a great experience for sitting.

I wanted a waffle and 13 Coins delivered! Best waffle ever! Sometimes I'll get a waffle and it's tasteless or mushy in the middle. 13 Coins makes perfectly crispy waffles with great taste! I had the fresh berry waffle with whipped cream. Husband had a wagu burger and my brother ordered the prime rib dip. We were all very happy with our orders. Our waiter was very friendly. We had a nice conversation about waffles and how much better tasting they are at 13 Coins over every other place. He thanked me for complimenting their waffles. We will definitely return!

Food here is constantly good! I've been 3 times over the past 2 weeks. I love the fact that it's open late too for Seattle (open until 1am). It's like very very upscale diner vibes. If you come in after 12pm however, they will rush you out to eat and finish your meal by 1am closing time

My friend and I visited for our first time and had such a wonderful experience, thanks in large part to Allan, our server. My childhood friend was visiting from Arizona, and since we're both originally from there (though I live in Washington now), it was especially nice how Allan connected with us in a way that felt warm and familiar. He was personable, funny, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the start. The food was just as impressive. Everything we ordered was so good--from the appetizer to our entrées, and especially the dessert. The crème brûlée was perfectly done and easily one of the highlights of the night. You can tell care goes into both the food and the overall experience. He also gave us excellent recommendations for both an appetizer and desserts, and both were absolutely worth it. Great service really can shape a dining experience, and Allan made this first visit memorable in the best way. Safe to say this is officially our spot whenever she's in town -- we'll definitely be back.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. We came here mostly for one thing: I absolutely could not wait for their gluten-free vegan chick'n pot pie. A pie i'd been waiting months to try. A pie unlike any other pie. A pie that I still think about to this day. We walked straight into a Cardi B drag show. And by "walked into" I mean we opened the door and Hot Pink Shade sashayed right in front of us. It was exactly the kind of welcome we love. It was also the first green flag in a sea of green flags at Life On Mars. I could barely sit still as I waited to order my GF/VG pot pie. We got the drinks outta the way (a peach hard cider for me and a fancy-schmancy cocktail for the lady). I was positively GIDDY when Anna came to take our order and I blurted out chick'n pot pie excitedly. I nearly died when she said they didn't have any. Normally it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I was from out of town and had literally been craving this damn pie for months! And I lied, I didn't nearly die but I DID nearly cry and that's almost as bad. Even the bestie lamented about what a let down this was. Anna. Dear, sweet Anna. We must have looked really hard up because this sweet baby angel offered to ask the cooks if they could whip one up special just for me. Let me tell you why this is a big deal: For one, she didn't need to do that. That's going above and beyond, and she was such a graceful little buttercup when she did it. Second, making a gluten free biscuit is a finicky, precise, detailed process. It sucks, honestly, and I don't blame them for not having them every day. I nearly cried when she came back and told us the cooks said YES. And this time i'm not lying. It was beyond the type of customer service i'm used to. It was.... humane. It was...empathetic. It was...totally first world problems but it meant so much to me! Especially since Anna said it had been a DAY and she was at her wits end. For her to have a rough day and still have the grace and compassion to make my stupid GF/VG chick'n pot pie dreams come true.....well, yeah, it made me a bit teary eyed. The pot pie was delicious, as expected. It was nostalgic and comforting, like a big hug in a bowl. The flavors were rich and deep, the biscuit soft and flaky; it was one of the most delicious things i've tasted on my GF/VEG journey. Between the food, the drinks, the customer service and the drag show......this was five stars all around. No doubt. I don't see the GF chick'n pot pie on their menu anymore. Maybe it's a seasonal thing? I hope it comes back, i'll be checking. And when it pops up again, so will I. Thank you, Anna. Thank you to the cooks on 2/19/26. Thank you to Hot Pink Shade, ISIS and King Leo Mane.
