I originally tried ordering from home online on Sunday around 5 p.m., and it said the Tustin location was closed. I double-checked their hours, and it wasn't right. Hmmmm. Then, when I drove to the location by 6 p.m., I saw what was happening. The online ordering closes when it reaches too many and opens back up again when they are able. I waited in line to order on the kiosk. No one was taking in-person orders. There's a large screen that shows order numbers and first names of orders that are "in progress" and "ready." And, yes, I waited over 30 minutes for our three drinks. I was already there, and my kids were having a blast inside a Canvas store with claw machines and playing chess with a friendly stranger, so it was fine. I wanted to taste what the hype was about since I love tea drinks, etc. What's great is that you can wait outside, and there's plenty to keep you busy as far as walking around and window shopping or just sitting on a cushioned chair. I got the osmanthus milk tea, and it was delicious. I added the coconut jelly, but I wish it had more of it in there. I usually get lychee jelly, but they don't have that, unfortunately. There was barely any jelly, and it was $1.25 add-on topping. Boba is a 75 cent add-on. I tasted the mango mochi drink that my son got, and it was good, but more like a dessert. It was mostly a slushy-milk-cream drink than mango. I got it less sweet for him, and it was still plenty sweet especially with the whipped cream on top. Ambiance inside the place is okay. My cousin introduced me to this place and I came twice the last two days. I tried the Mochi barley burst, mochi mango, avomango sweet dew, jasmine green tea with cheese mouse and osmanthus oolong milk tea with handcrafted mochi. All with minimal sugar. Mango Mochi 5/5 - this was one of my favorite! It does taste like mango sticky rice if that was a drink. I love how fresh and sweet the mango is, then the handcrafted mochi was just something else. It's such a new and interesting concept for me. I can taste the rice in the rice mochi and it is just this soft velvety chewy texture. You can mix it well to get all the flavor or just scoop it up and eat it with a spoon.. I love it! Avomango 5/5 - this was less sweet than the mango mochi because it has less mango and has avocado in it. I like that it has pomelo and agar boba, which reminds me of certain Thai coconut jelly. Mochi barely burst 4/5 - this was interesting for me. The barley boba got me really full, makes me feel like I'm drinking a barley rice bowl. The tea itself was good and I love that they offer Strauss milk as their milk base. Strauss milk is just simply so good! The mochi in here was smaller and not as chewy as in other drinks Jasmine green tea with cheese mousse 5/5 - this was strong and delicious. You also gotta mix it up pretty well. The flowery taste won't be for everyone but if you like this sort of taste I would highly recommend trying this. The popping barley boba is definitely not for everyone, but I highly enjoyed it, it had an earthy taste to it and the texture was more of a thick liquid chew when it popped than the regular popping bobas. However, I will say that I love 3CAT's location because there is a claw machine place (Top Canvas) next doors, which makes it fun to order and then head over to play some claw machines while waiting for my drink to be made. For my first visit, I ordered a seasonal drink that resembled a Biscoff milkshake and it was decent. For my second visit, I ordered the Mochi Oreo drink and it was just okay. The mochi bits were delicious (highly recommend the mochi), but there was nothing amazing about the drink. The hype is real. This newly opened Tustin boba shop is serving up some of the best bubble tea beverages in Orange County. I've made it my personal mission to experience every nearby bubble tea spot, so I can confidently say that 3Cat is one of my favorites in the area. I stopped by this Hot & New biz for a treat after running some nearby Sunday errands. This store was packed to the brim with people and had a wait time of 25+ minutes. While I wouldn't normally wait so long for a drink, I needed to know what all of the hype was about. I ordered the Oolong Peach Latte with brown sugar boba and cheese mousse. If I could only have one boba drink for the rest of my life.. this would be the one. I was a bit confused about the ordering process / menu options. I ordered the latte version of the oolong tea vs the milk tea option. Because it was the latte version, they refused to put the boba inside the drink. Instead I had to receive it on the side. The tea version of this drink was also much smaller than the traditional boba cup. The cheese mousse also took up about 1/3 of the cup. While the drinks were outstanding, I think the team could do a better job of educating customers. read more

Yay, I'm so glad a closer location of 3CAT opened up in OC! Now, I don't have to drive all the way to City of Industry for some delicious drinks. 3CAT opened up in the Tustin District. I usually park in the back of the AMC theater to avoid the horrible traffic. There's plenty of parking. There's usually a long wait on the weekends. I passed by the store on Sunday once, and it was packed! I came right when it opened. I assume the wait isn't too bad if you come on a weekday, at an off time. You can order on a kisok or with a cashier. I ordered at the kisok, since there was no one at the cash register. At the end of your order, you enter your phone number. They'll text you when your order is ready. The inside of the store is so cute! There's bright lightening and a cute cat display! The wait wasn't too long. My favorite drink to get there is the mochi mango! The mochi is so soft, and the milk balances well with the mango. Their drinks are a bit pricey, but you're paying for quality. They use real fruit in their drinks. I would come back here, but I would avoid the weekends. I can't wait to try other drinks from there. read more

It has a good avocado taste and a light hint of mango which pairs well together. My husband got the lime explosion and he really liked it. It wasnt bitter and very refreshing in a hot day. It tasted citrusy and light amount of sweetness with some tea flavor. They're always busy but the lines are never that long which is great. A lot of smoothies/slushies mixed with teas. I got the dragonwell tea with cheese mousse, because it looked and sounded similar to my typical order. I've also never had dragonwell before, so I figured why not give it a try! Here, you can order your drink at the kiosks or at the front with a worker. Drinks take about 5 minutes, and they'll call out your name/number. I got my drink on the less sugar side, which I am so glad I did, because when paired with the cheese mousse, it was pretty sweet. The line has been crazy out the door both times I've stopped by here so be prepared for a long wait for your drink. You order at a kiosk and there are 2 available. There's also limited seating available inside. I couldn't remember which mango drink I got before so I ended up getting the popular Mochi Mango. Their normal cream comes with pecan on top which I'm allergic to so I switched it out with the cheese foam. I was really thrown off by the chunks of white cheeesy tasting stuff in the drink and I honestly dont think it was cheese foam because my friend's drink had the cheese foam so I think it might've been the mochi? Either way it was super salty and giant chunks of liquid mochi cheese which was super disgusting and detracted from the mango drink. The mango sweet dew was much more similar to a mango sago and I would get that next time instead. read more

Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for a drink with no line to order on the touchscreen. I got a Jade Matcha (jasmine milk tea with matcha mousse) with less sugar. Jasmine flavor was prominent and sweetness level was still enough to taste like a treat for me. The matcha mousse tasted good on its own and eventually mixed some matcha through the rest of the drink, but it did start to brown around the top of the lid/straw as it oxidized. Luckily, didn't affect the taste of the drink though. The place itself is neat with a screen showing your name and estimated wait time.
