I forgot what the difference between their tea latte and milk tea was, but I wouldn't get either jasmine one again. I prefer my boba beverages to be strong in tea flavor and not super milky, so 3CATEA's milk-based teas haven't really hit the spot for me. Their fruity drinks are decent, though. I can't remember exactly which ones, maybe along the lines of an avocado smoothie, a mango thing, and a strawberry slushie? Those were surprisingly tasty and refreshing. Service is all right - most times they're borderline robotic, but there's an occasional upbeat staff member who's cheerily handing out drinks. I believe they still have a screen with order numbers and a mobile messaging system to notify you when drinks are ready for pickup. Inside of the store is bright and adorably decorated with cat figures. Located in the pedestrian walkway area of Tustin District this boba shop has good seating inside and also plenty of seating outdoors with the plaza. I was curious to try their homemade mochi, it was very chewy and fresh. I got the mango drink and my niece got a peach drink. It was a perfect refreshment in the summer heat. Finally got a chance to try this boba place out and I'm glad I did !! Whenever I go to the district I always see it very crowded where there is a long line wrapped around to the outside and I'm glad I finally got a chance to try it when it wasn't so busy !! The service was quick and simple you order at the kiosk and they give you a number then wait till either your name or number is called . They also send you a text when your drinks are ready if you're not in the store waiting. You I feel you can shop around or hangout outside until you get a text saying your order is ready . Very convenient especially when it's super busy !! Their drinks are really cute and tasty . They're not overly sweet nor is it bitter . And it looks so cute as well very appealing to the eyes . We got the mango mochi, floral black milk tea with boba, and the rice barley mochi milk tea. The best one was definitely the mango mochi. The mango was so sweet and fresh and the texture of the mochi complemented it nicely. It is a creamier and more indulgent drink though. The floral black milk tea was ok. It wasn't anything special from other boba shops and the pearls were on the harder side so I wouldn't recommend their brown sugar boba topping. Not sure if it's because of the time of the year but the line went out the door but it moved fast, so we waited no more than 5 minutes in line. I've tried their Mochi Barley Burst (not bad but I felt the barley popping boba was a bit too firm for texture but I really enjoyed the mochi) and Jasmine green milk tea with soybean mousse. The Jasmine green milk tea was great (pretty standard and what you expect), and the soybean mousse is really good! I would say my favorite topping to get is their handcrafted rice mochi.
