Recently, Dad and I had a Daddy-Daughter lunchtime together. We had passed by 410 Diner many times but hadn't tried them until last week. It was like traveling back in time to the good old diner days. Mary was our sweet server. Dad and I shared the Bowl of Mushroom Artichoke Soup and Dinner Salad. We also shared the huge Club Sandwich. Dad wanted a fried egg, and they gave him two! It was all so much food, even with sharing. I couldn't resist and had to try their Blueberry Pie. Yum! I brought home a slice of Cherry Pie for my hubby. Everything was fantastic and enjoyable. Highly recommend! Make room for their pies.

When you walk in you feel you're going back in time to "Happy Days" the decor was very nice and very eclectic. Our waitress Carrie was awesome. She made us feel at home and was very attentive. We had the oyster po boy and fried pork chops. The only issue I had was the pork chops were so thin you could see through them. The mushrooms were excellent and tge corn bread was amazing. I definitely recommend this place.

A nice old school diner with tons of options and friendly service. We were traveling from out of state ended up here for a mid afternoon gathering of 25 or 35 family. They actually had a back room to accommodate and they served alcohol, I was so surprised. I'm not entirely sure how many official servers we had, but we were visited often by so many of the staff as well as the owner. Everyone was so on top of everything. There were a ton of us and only a handful of minor errors. The menu was ginormous! It's almost overwhelming, but appreciated. Our little family wasn't too hungry, having eaten lunch not long before, but we all enjoyed trying a variety of appetizers. The sandwiches were large with generously portioned sides. Everyone appeared happy with their food and drinks. When traveling and/or just in the mood for good food in a no-fuss comfortable atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit.

    100 % score - also a bit of neon

Great casual place for home-cooked comfort food. Decorated at 1950's diner complete with neon signage. Personally love the bright red pay phone on a wall. Cozy bar area. I had a chicken breast - they had about a half dozen delish ways to top their moist and tasty chicken - I went with queso, guac and salsa. They serve soup every day - I love the mushroom artichoke combination. My husband went with the perennial favorite: seafood platter - 2 large fillets, shrimp, hush puppies and 2 sides of your choice! He brought home a filet and fries for lunch today. The complimentary cornbread is the bomb!! Ask for honey to get the chef's kiss on that cornbread. Usually too full for dessert - but fortunately they will pack up those great slices of pie to take home and enjoy later. Love this cafe and the friendly efficient staff.

Some didn't enjoy marinara on meatloaf. I'd like to have enjoyed bread sticks since it seemed Italian. I hadn't been here since 2016 at which time I had excellent chicken fried steak and gravy. Before that it may have been 1999. I'm letting you know it's and old and established place. Our social group has attended 2 times in 2025' and we will come back for certain.

Went to the 410 diner the other night to celebrate an anniversary of a family member. Food was decent and for the most part flavorful. The Durango chicken was a site to be seen! The only complaint about the food is that the egg blt was cut up into such tiny pieces. I noticed that the general population of the restaurant was of an older demographic but personally I need something more to hold onto. Our waitress was really nice and helpful but the service in general took a little while to get our food and get eating. However the restaurant was pretty full. Ambiance: it gives that older dinner feel but also during the day it almost looks abandoned. Maybe the place needs an uplift to cater to the customer base coming into the location. Nice place to eat but make sure you plan ahead for a little wait for food.

    Comfortable diner seating

Really fast friendly service with reasonable prices. Parking is very good. Love the casual atmosphere and also love the great food variety! Plenty of vegetables! It's not easy to find a place with so many vegetables in San Antonio! We will be back!

We got greeted once we walked in and sat down. The atmosphere was old school, back in the day simple life. I got the fried chicken fingers, which come with 2 sides. I got mashed potato and green beans. It was so good I ate it all and forgot to take a pic beforehand. The chicken fingers come with gravy on the side, and it comes 6 to an order. It was all delicious. No complaints on the quality of food. I ordered a sweet tea, but if you want a to go cup, they do charge a small fee for one. I wish they kept theirs old prices. It used to be 9.95, but it ended up being 16.95. I don't know if it's worth 16.95, but it's nostalgia for me cause my kids were young when started going there, and now I have teens. I understand everything is expensive now, but I wish it wasn't.

The cute 50's decor is fun. The service is exemplary. The owner is usually there and always offers a warm welcome. The food is really good and the variety is amazing. Comfort food. My personal favorite is the California Chicken! It is so delicious!

Decent diner food. Large portions. Milkshakes are not it. Staff was friendly, but service could've been a little more attentive. The older diner theme is pretty nostalgic. Made me think of Back to the Future

Nothing overly exciting, but just simple good food. No long wait times, no rude staff. Just simple hot food.

It was popping when we got there, so we had about a 25 minute wait. It took them a little while to take our order, but once they did, the food was made and delivered in a timely manner. I, of course, got the cinnamon roll pancakes short stack, and they were absolutely divine. No need for butter or syrup, they were perfectly delicious as is, cinnamon swirl included?!? and icing glaze as well. Another favorite was the chile relleno omelette - the poblano pepper on top added some smokiness along with the steak, and the sour cream and cheese cooled it down. Bacon and canadian bacon on point. A solid breakfast spot! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures because the experience was disappointing from the moment…read moreour food arrived. My husband and I had been trying to eat at Bobby's Southern Kitchen for at least 2-3 years. Every time we'd stopped before, the wait was around 2 1/2 hours, and since we were always passing through on our way home to Houston, we never had enough time to stay. This time, we planned our morning around finally getting to eat here. We had spent the weekend in San Antonio and were driving to Dallas before heading home, so we made a point of arriving shortly after opening (a little after 8:00 a.m.). There was no wait, we were seated immediately, and our waitress was wonderful. I wish I could remember her name because she was friendly, attentive, and did everything she could. Our food came out quickly, probably within 15 minutes, but that's where things went downhill. The food wasn't hot. Mine was warm enough to eat, but my husband's breakfast was actually cold. His hash browns were cold, his sausage patties were cold, and since he's someone who really enjoys his food served hot, it immediately ruined the meal for him. We let our waitress know, and she came back to take only the hash browns from his plate. That surprised us because most restaurants would prepare a fresh order rather than reheating part of the original meal. When the hash browns came back, they still weren't hot enough, so unfortunately they didn't solve the problem. For me, the food itself actually had good flavor. I ordered the sausage biscuit with soft scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and a side of grits. The biscuit was good, the eggs were cooked just the way I like them, and the grits were honestly one of the best parts of the meal. They were creamy, had a great consistency, and were well-seasoned with really good flavor. If everything had been served hotter, I honestly think I would have loved my breakfast. My husband ordered a simple breakfast with eggs over medium, toast, sausage patties, and hash browns. I don't necessarily think the food itself was bad I think serving it cold completely changed his experience. What makes this especially disappointing is that we arrived shortly after opening, so we expected everything to be fresh and piping hot. I honestly don't know what happened that morning, but after waiting years to finally try Bobby's, it just didn't live up to the anticipation. The service was excellent, the food had good flavor, and I truly wanted to love this place. I just can't overlook being served a breakfast that wasn't hot, especially first thing in the morning. I hope this was just an off day because I'd like to believe our experience wasn't the norm.

This is southern comfort food turned all the way up and they don't believe in small portions!…read more I went straight for The Morning Wrecker, and this breakfast is an absolute beast. Imagine a towering, layer-stacked masterpiece built around a massive fluffy scratch-made biscuit, crispy golden hash browns, a beautifully breaded and fried chicken fried steak, and two perfectly cooked over easy eggs. Then, because apparently that wasn't enough, the whole thing is drenched in rich, creamy country sausage gravy and finished with a generous blanket of shredded cheddar cheese. Every bite hits a different note, the buttery, tender biscuit, the crunch of the hash browns, the savory crust on the chicken fried steak, the richness of the sausage gravy, and that salty, melty cheddar bringing everything together. It's indulgent, unapologetically Southern, and exactly the kind of breakfast that makes you want to take a nap afterward. And the service was excellent. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Just come hungry... The Morning Wrecker does not play around.
