Stumbled on this place looking for carne asada fries. Friendly service. Good food. Good prices.

Theyyyyy suckkkkk at making burritos, I went my first time all I tasted was beans and rice, Called and they said to remake it, I went next day they re did exact same thing. Like come on dude! Do better!

Tried the tacos (asada, pastor& chicken) and got a torta as well 10/10 Definitely going back to try more things from their menu!!

I recommend everyone try the asada fries and tacos, the best! I love the spot in north Long Beach and so excited they opened a spot in downtown! The Asada Fries is go to :)

    Great food and service.

Great customer service and good food couldn't ask for anything else ! And it stays open late

This business listing is in north Long Beach but I've been catching them at the Traffic Circle location in front of CVS. Al pastor tacos are my go-to at $2.50 each. On my first visit, I was delighted to see they come with piña (pineapple) and guac. The second visit, I must have showed up too late in the evening in the middle of the week when all the pastor was shaved off and they reheated the meat. The pieces were a bit overcooked and too crispy that I didn't enjoy it. My third visit, the pastor pieces were larger yet tender but there wasn't any guac on the tacos. Not sure if they stopped adding it or they ran out for the night. A bit inconsistent but that won't stop me from visiting a forth time.

"The Hook Up Food Truck" (Their words, not mine.) What a great find by our friend! She posted and we went. However, the location she went to was on 4400 Los Coyote Diagonal Traffic Circle (near CVS). Both that spot and this one open at 5PM for dinner and late night eats. If you want a lunch spot, they have a truck at 1787 E 28th St, Signal Hill, CA, open from Noon-5PM. You have options! This truck is parked on Artesia Blvd near the parking lot for Big Saver Foods. This location is in North Long Beach. They have one 6 ft table and chairs as well as extra chairs along the edge of the sidewalk. We ordered our staple... Al Pastor Tacos + Horchata. These Street Tacos are $2.50 each, a little pricier, but I'd say they're worth it. They didn't skimp on the meat. Each taco was filled with Al Pastor, guacamole, pineapple slivers, onions, and cilantro. What I really appreciated was that the meat was flavorful and there was more than one little piece of pineapple on the taco! A highlight of the meal was their salsas! We always bring our own because we like the heat. We gave theirs a try and really enjoyed them! In fact, we didn't even need to use ours! They have 3 different ones, each unique. I poured a little of all three on my tacos, so I can't tell you which one was the spiciest. I'd recommend taste testing each just in case. I didn't see a Trompo for the Al Pastor. Not sure if it was because we were early or if they don't have one here. There's one at the other truck. When we come back, I'll check for it. A gentleman chatted with us, he was very friendly! I believe he was the owner. I think he said his Dad or Uncle runs the truck near the Traffic Circle. He asked us about other taco spots and wanted to know which were our favorite and worst places. We couldn't remember the bad ones because we just never go back! LOL! He's got a good thing going here! If you're near any of these places or looking for some good Mexican food, go check them out! I'm sure my husband would like to try the Asada and Chorizo! I'll stick with the Al Pastor because that's my go to meat choice! We usually always just get tacos, so I'd probably stick with them. We will be back!

First of all one of their workers with the mastche and tattoos is so cute which is always a plus for the ambiance. It didn't take long to get our food. About 5 minutes and they brought it out to where we sat since we dined in. First of all! You need to get an aguas fresca. We got the medium for the orange mango and the Jamaica. They are so natural. I'm a huge fan of artificial flavor so this was a huge shock, but it pairs so well with their food. My only regret isn't getting the large. For the food we got the burrito 2.0 asada and the chivichanga chicken. The burrito was great but very heavy on the beans. Make sure you get extra green salsa. It's their best and a perfect balance of salty with a hint of sweet. The red salsa gets spicy. If you can't handle hot Cheetos don't eat it. Now the chivichanga thing was perfect. It's so tiny but the fact it's about $5 was perfect. I have never had something so well priced and portioned before. The way I can describe it if you ever wanted to taste high class Taco Bell that will make you want four more then you need to try it. And I mean this in the best way possible. It's so cheesy and savory and yummy!!! Truly just from these two dishes we will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Our next dishes is to try the tacos!

We ordered caramelos with the poblanos inside, as well as their horchata. Tortillas are some of the best I've had. Super soft and flavorful from the grill. The fillings and salsa were good too, but it was really wet, and the bean ratio especially compared to the meat, was a little off. Always am going to want more meat. Horchata was unique since it was coconut based. Overall solid spot with patient staff. Tacos La Rueda is still better, but will be back when in Long Beach.

I realized that this pop-up was actually just a street away from where I live, which made the decision even easier. Upon arriving, I encountered a bit of a wait--there were at least 15 folks ahead of me in line, eagerly anticipating their delicious orders. After standing in line for about 10 minutes, I could sense excitement building in the air as the line inched forward. As I observed the scene, I couldn't help but feel the buzz of anticipation surrounding me.. The flavors of sweet marinated pork and fresh pineapple have a way of dancing on your palate. I plan to capture a few photos to share once I'm a little closer to the front of the line. Got a taco dinner $10 rice, beans and 3 tacos and Agua fresca horchata So here's the review I got three tacos Al pastor 2/5 no flavor .. it was missing more citrus and seasoning, even the piña bites where bland Carne Asada 2/5 it taste like reheated leftovers in which he poured all the meat on the plancha Pollo 4/5 had seasoning Rice 4/5 flavorful Beans 2/5 no flavor ,pinto beans Horchata 3/5 overly sweet Overall they hype is not what you think. Tacos are affordable,Agua frescas $5 Will I be back probably not.

Our service was very slow and the drinks took a very long time to come out. We were some of the only people in the restaurant, so I can't blame it on being very busy. My girlfriend ordered a mojito and it tasted more like a margarita than anything. Our appetizer was okay but for the price you pay you don't get much. My burrito was decent, nothing to write home about. But you could definitely get a better one in Long Beach for $5 cheaper. My girlfriend ordered a salmon special which was about $30. I've never had a more overcooked piece of fish in my life. When the server asked how our food was I informed her the food was extremely overcooked. She didn't seem to care and there was no offer to find some kind of solution. I wasn't expecting a comped dish or anything special, but a little acknowledgement would have been appreciated.
