Bread here is amazingly good. When walking in, you will be welcomed with various bread options to choose from. Before I jump into the goods, one of the best things ever is their offering of umbrellas for the people in line. That is such an awesome idea and way to think about the client experience before stepping into your door! That is a 5-star on its own. Bread wise, you have a combination of sweet and savory. Focaccia, while gi-normous, was delicious. Left a satisfying impression on texture, aroma, and taste. Airy would be another way to describe it. There are so many other options that we wanted to try but did not have the capacity... which means, we need to come back and sample the other ones. While inside, one may wonder how limited space can provide a pleasant experience. Well, pick your items, pay for it, and walk around to the back. You will have quite a bit of space to enjoy the goods with your pack. If not, tables turn pretty quickly, so you are good. This is a good pastry/bread spot. Come get some!
Still my favorite bakery in Southern California. Everything is delicious and the staff is so friendly. Chef Karlos is awesome and makes everyone feel welcomed in the controlled chaos of the busy lines. There are tables to eat on in the front and the back so it's perfect for a sit down. They also offer complimentary umbrellas to use while you wait in line.
Carb lovers, this one's for you! One of my favorite spots for fresh-baked goodies. Every time I'm in line, I start eyeing all the pastries and somehow convince myself I need more than I came for. Tried the Ube Cruffin, Blue Corn Sourdough, Blue Masa Cornbread, Sun-Dried Tomato Croissant, Pan de Sal, and Corn Cookie. All were great! Perfect balance of texture and flavor. Currently making my way through the rest of the menu. Ha. There's a front patio plus an alley area with tables to eat and hang. Parking: Street parking only, and it can be a little tricky since the bakery is surrounded by apartment complexes
Finally got to take the adventure out to this fantastic battery. My wife name with me and we were so pleased. I highly recommend you trying it if you like great sourdough or freaky have items. Please note that therr may be a line, but ours was fairly quick and we even received samples. That was a really wise idea because my lovely wife wanted the focaccia bread too. My intent in going was to get their purple sourdough for a friend's housewarming. We accomplished that and then some, spending a bit but than I intended, yet we enjoyed all we could. I've if my favorites at a donut shop is actually a ham, cheese and jalapeno filled croissant, and they had them. It was very tasty. Going back to the sourdough bread... Oh my goodness it is so good. Ok. Honestly I could go on because we also had strawberry croissant and their goods are simply great! Don't hesitate to go and tell them Frankie said you MUST GO if you like a solid bakery. Enjoy! Delicious! It's worth a short wait in line to indulge in these masterpieces of baked goods. The cinnamon roll is unique and definitely very shareable. Coffee is also very good and staff is friendly.
There was a little bit of a line with about 4 groups ahead of me and my friend. We waited a bit outside in the summer heat. Lol The building looks like an old arch aircraft hangar. The bakery storefront is quite small. There is no indoor seating, it's all outdoor in a front patio or an "alley" patio between two hangars. Parking is only street parking and is very limited. All of their available savory and sweet pastries are displayed behind a glass wall on a counter and everything looked incredibly appetizing. We ordered two iced matcha lattes (fabulous!) and three pastries: - Ube Cruffin - crispy cruffin with a marshmallow cloud on top, creamy ube in the center. - Sundried Tomato Oaxacan Cheese Croissant- it's like a yummy croissant pizza with a savory tomato sauce under the blanket of baked cheese - Croissant Cinnamon Roll - comes in a tin with just the right amount of frosting. So glad I finally got a chance to check it out. Staff was very friendly too!
Waited maybe 15 minutes outdoors in line on a Saturday morning. Parking is tough - street only. Only patio seating both in front and out the back door is available as the space inside is small. They sell a lot of merch and food items on the side like cheese and alcohol. Honestly did not care too much for the coffee - wish the classic cream top had more flavor. My favorite pastry was the sundried tomato/oaxacan cheese - it was kinda like pizza with a bite to it. The croissant cinnamon roll had really good icing but the croissant itself was a bit burnt on the bottom and gets stuck in your teeth. The soy scallion gochujang pastry was a bit more sweet than savory and I wish it wasn't. For those three breads and two coffees we spent around $40 and I don't think it was worth.
Love this bakery so much!! They have the freshest and most delicious breads. The line goes pretty quick even when it's out the door so don't let that stop you from trying this spot out. The workers give you samples to try and are so patient while ordering. I didn't LOVE the matcha (a bit too bitter for me) so I'd suggest getting that elsewhere.
Some of the best pastries in OC! Came around 10am on a Friday and there were about 5 groups in front of us. The line moves quickly, and there seemed to be plenty of options when we up! Their cinnamon roll is insane, and we loved the strawberry donut, ube cruffin and monkey bread croissant! The only thing I didn't care for was their scone, but that's personal preference. They also have a pretty large drink/coffee menu which is great! We took our pastries to go, but there is a little bit of seating. However, I can totally see this place filling up quickly on the weekends. While the pastries are on the pricier end, it's well worth it, but just be ready to splurge. You do pay for high quality and fresh goods so you get what you pay for!! Highly recommend.
Seen this on IG so I had to come check it out . You know it's good when there is a line out the door . (It was worth it) So many goodies to choose from but went with the most popular Ube Cruffin - it was delicious. Everything looked so good I wish I could have tried more but we will definitely be back .
Wow! Where do I even begin? Our group found this place while looking for pastries nearby, and we saw that it was highly rated and felt extremely compelled to check it out (as it was a quick drive for us). Parking nearby was a bit tricky. It was a busy Saturday morning, and this place is located in a small residential/retail area. We could've waited for other people to leave, but decided to park a bit farther and do a quick walk (which was 100% worth it). The interior was lovely, as all the pastries, breads, and sandwiches are neatly organized and displayed. There was a line, but it moved pretty quickly. I did also notice that they have no in door seating, all of their seating is located in front (patio) and to the side in an alleyway. We tried the Chocolate Croissant, Croque Monsieur Croissant, Tomato Cheese Croissant, and Ube Cruffin. All of these were sooo delicious that my mouth is actually watering as I type this review. I firmly believe everyone should visit at least once!
Totally worth the trip! Amazing eats we tried several items and teas! All were honestly some really tasty bites and I'm a sucker for packaging and they have some really nice boxes and bags so you feel extra fancy when you shop here.
61 Hundred has the best bread and pastries. I tried some of their special purple super sourdough and could not have been happier. We took home some of their best bread and it is just great. Their croissants are amazing as are all of their pastries. The place is so clean and cute. The customer service is amazing. They are so nice and will explain all they have. We took some back to our hotel and then went back on our last day just to get bread to take home. The bakery is known its innovation. I have never had their signature heirloom blue-corn masa sourdough. They even have Filipino staples like pandesal and ube-filled cruffins. It is all so good. They are open Thursday through Sunday until all is sold out. You will love this place.
Yes, it really is that good! My favorite bakery in all of Southern California. We ordered a couple of their pastries, but the sun dried tomato with oaxacan cheese & street corn style croissants really stood out to me. Insane lamination with the flakiest pastry dough paired with their savory fillings was insane. The service was also very friendly with the staff offering their honest recommendations. The outdoor seating areas can fill up quickly so definitely arrive early to beat the rush. For all the hype this place gets, I definitely believe they deserve it. read more

All the bread and pastries were scrumptious. Pricey, yes but worth it. I'll be broke if I go there everyday and order like I did. Our favorites were the Scallion Soy Gochujang roll, Ube cronut, and Rosemary focaccia. 15-20 minute line on a Sunday morning. At first glance seating seems limited until I realized they had additional seating on the side in between another brunch restaurant. Worth the visit for a NorCal visitor. read more

I tried the ube cruffin, monkey croissant, oaxacan tomato cheese croissant, and strawberry sugar croissant. Layers in the croissants were impeccable and perfectly crisp. The tomato cheese was melty and well balanced with acidity and richness. Great variety. I had a hard time picking what to get. read more

The wait is worth it! It's one of those spots that's really shines its craft at bread making. The quality and care in the bread making is obvious. Everything we tried was delicious, however quite expensive so come with that in mind. Not to say it's overpriced but it's def a price paid for quality. Would come back here again for a baked treat on an elevated level. The ambiance also fits the goods here, a bit of hipster and once you're in the building, the line moves pretty quick! read more
Great selection of unique pastries in OC! The line was pretty long when I came on a Saturday morning but there were plenty of pastries available. I got the Ube cruffin, sourdough japanese milk bread, and a sun dried tomato cheese pastry. The ube cruffin was filled with sweet ube cream in a thick croissant muffin which tasted good, but a bit too sweet on the filling for me. The sun dried tomato cheese pastry was delicious and kinda tasted like a pizza pastry so I'd recommend it if you love a savory pastry. My favorite item was the japanese sourdough milk bread! It was so soft and fresh on the inside and so delicious! They have outdoor seating available and parking on the streets. They also offer coffee and teas on their menu. I'd definitely recommend checking them out for delicious pastries in OC! read more
First of all, i love bread. Not even toast, or added butter or jam or anything fancy - just bread itself. I heard this place has great sourdough, even a cool corn masa (?) kind! I really just wanted the basic sourdough, so i got myself a loaf. They even sliced it for me at my request :) its a delicious bread. Its a touch darker than usual sourdoughs ive tried, and kinda roasty?? So good. Plus the crust is crunchy but not ROCK hard, even after toasting it at home. Finally got to try sourdough from 61 Hundred. I have always wanted to try it, but the timing never worked out. Luckily my friend was able to get me two of their most popular items. Sourdough: Absolutely love this one, it is chewy and crispy on the outside. The bread is airy and fluffy. The sour taste is strong and noticeable. The irregular holes inside say it all about their skills. Blue Corn Masa: The flavor is unlike any other sourdough I have tried so far. The crust is crispy and interior is soft and chewy. The earthy flavor balanced well the sour tangy flavor. The blue/purple interior color looks amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for sourdough, definitely not just a hype. Long line out the door on a Sunday afternoon. The queue inside is very short. Since the bakery itself is so small, you are ordering as soon as you step through the door- this makes it hard for first-timers to browse the display case to figure out what they want. It would be great to have a photo or list of of the baked goods somewhere outside next to the coffee and tea menu. Soy Scallion Gochujang Roll: *For context, I warmed this up at home so it may taste different if you have it cold* I have not had anything like this before, so this is unique to me. It is very umami, sticky, and savory. It is good and I would recommend this if you want to try something new! Ube cruffin: The exterior is flaky and sweet; the ube filling itself was light and oozed out. Blue corn masa muffin: Interesting flavor. Slightly dry. I like the cornbread flavor, but this won't be for everyone. Sun dried tomato Oaxacan cheese croissant: I warmed this up at home because it was cold in the display case. It tastes like cheese and tomatoes (obviously), it was okay, just not memorable to me. The pastries look very nice, but dang they are pricey. You will need drive up and down the block to find parallel street parking. There's a small alley to the side with some tables where you can sit to enjoy your pastries! read more

It was a 30min drive to where I was, then I got there and was a 15min line and the pastry's are HEAVENLY! The service is really nice and the outside is like a normal restaurant and inside is kinda small but there is a LOT of options. Try this place out!!! Written by James Stapleton Age11 read more

Waited for a bit in the sun on Sunday around 9am. Ended up in and out after about 30 minutes in total! Upon entering, a worker asks which pastries you'd like - though you have to wait for the line to move up to see the next side of items, makes it a little awkward when the worker just stares at you waiting for you to skim the next row. For a busy store, it might help people see potential options in advance (though later they may sell out). Currently, only the drink menu is displayed outside the store. In terms of pastries, the ube cruffin seemed to be the star - can confirm this was incredibly flakey yet moist. I could do without the toasted marshmallow fluff on top, but it did look appealing. I wish there were more flavor options in addition to ube. Soy gochujang roll was unique in taste with its sweet, somewhat savory flavor on flakey puff pastry, though was overly stuffed with green onion. Monkey kouign looked and sounded great; however, the inside soft texture did not match the harder outside (supposed to be crispy?) that stuck to my teeth. Chocolate croissant was well balanced, super flakey with just the right amount of chocolate. "Not too sweet" Overall, the pastries were decent (did not try their bread this time) but not sure I would come back for 1) the long line and 2) the price tag of 7-9$ on average per item. read more

I'M GOING TO CRY!! I couldn't even wait to get home to post this (so more pics of the bakery items to come)! I've been to 61hundred Bread a couple times before and loved everything I've tried so far, but today...customer service and croissants were FAR BEYOND expectations!!!! I arrived around 10:30am on a Saturday and waited in line for about 30 minutes. Staff came out and gave samples which was a plus! When I got inside to order, Jordan was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and super helpful! He chose a sourdough loaf that was hot and fresh out of the oven for me! I also got several other items. We chatted while I was waiting to be rung up and I told him how I'm constantly in search of a good croissant. He offered to warm one up for me so it's hot and flakey, and he probably saw how tempted I was to say YES, but I declined because I was getting so many other breads (way over my carb limit for the week). The rest of my in-store experience went smoothly, customer service was great even when I added more items last minute. But the best part of my visit was when JORDAN ran out calling "Excuse me, Miss!" (So kind because I've definitely crossed over to ma'am ) and handed me a fresh hot croissant cut into bite sized pieces so I could try it hot on my drive back home. He wanted to help me fulfill my mission to find the perfect SoCal croissant and....omg!!! It was so buttery, flakey and delicious!!! Thank you, Jordan, for going above and beyond and making my day!!! YOU'RE THE GOAT!!! Recommendation: go early to find parking and avoid long lines. You can't go wrong with any of the baked goods! All amazing! Have them lightly warm your pastries if you're eating them there (often times you won't have to because it's already hot and right out of the oven as they're baked fresh throughout the morning)! Cute space, but very limited seating. I can be a bit high maintenance and particular at times, but Jordan and the team didn't make me feel like I was being "too much." And honestly, with that level of customer service, I think I'd continue to come back even if the pastries weren't fantastic. Luckily THEY ARE! Lol! 1000 stars and you can be sure I'll be driving the distance to experience not only the incredible bread and pastries, but the phenomenal customer service! read more
We arrived around 9 am on Saturday and were super lucky to get parking in front of the shop. There was a line but it went by very fast. Upon entering we were given a sample of the rosemary focaccia bread which was phenomenal. We ended up getting a ton of items and spent around $75. It was our first time so I went a little crazy. Stand out items: Rosemary focaccia 9/10 we made sandwhiches with it too. Milk bread 10/10, so soft and fluffy. Sourdough pretzel 10/10 the dipping sauce was addicting I could eat a whole container. Sundried tomato pastry 8.5/10. The croque monsieur was on a croissant but when I went back this past weekend it was on a baguette, I prefer it on the baguette for that crunch. And the blue corn sourdough bread is divine! 10/10 you need to have it simple with butter to appreciate the flavor. There's seating on the side and front. Worth the wait. read more

I love this bakery! I've heard it all about it on social media and I can gladly say that I agree with all the positive reviews. Parking can be a bit tricky as there's only street parking available, but it's not too difficult to find and within short walking distance. When I arrived there was a line outside, but don't let that intimidate you as the line moves quickly. The staff even brought out some samples to those in line. The inside is small with their pastries on display. You can even watch the bakers prepare pastries. It smelled incredible inside as they bake throughout, keeping everything fresh as possible. I love that they have Filipino pastries like the pan de sal and the ube cruffin. I haven't had one thing I didn't like! My favorites are definitely the pan de sal, croque monsieur, and the pain au chcolat. The pain au chocolat is the best I've ever had! The service is also very helpful in describing items and super friendly. I definitely see myself coming back often for their pastries, so worth it! read more

This is what is leftover from my cinnamon roll and let's just say wow the next day I heated it up in my Hestan pan and it was PERFECT! And probably the best cinnamon roll I have ever had! My Bestie and I shared it and it was soft and gooey and the cream cheese frosting OMG! It wasn't heavy like a typical cinnamon roll and probably my FAVORITE! Just be careful as the sugar does caramelize on the bottom so don't burn yourself! Definitely a must and reheats perfectly! My Besties and I went Friday and Saturday and Friday around 9 am there was no line. They didn't have almond croissants which I am always in search of and was told they are made from day old croissant which means they won't have any for a while! Saturday it was raining and we drove up Round 10 and there was a line of about 20 people but it moved fast. Their hot chocolate is very good, and all of their baked goods are worth getting but my eyes are too big and I get too many and end up throwing them out after a few days so make sure to go and know what you want and eat within a couple of days. That is how you know they use good ingredients that's not filled with preservatives! Staff is always very sweet and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. Be patient and always be kind and I will keep going back till I get my almond croissant! read more
I finally made it to 6100Bread. This is a modern bakery with an industrial-chic vibe. They are open Thu thru Sun only from 8 am to 1 pm. Street parking is available but limited. My hubs was here last Thursday around 11 am. Several items were sold out but he managed to get Chocolate Croissant, and Foccacia Dolce. There was also a big round loaf of something that looked and tasted like the Filipino Ensaymada. Everything he brought home was outstanding! So this past Sunday, we arrived around 8:15 (pro tip: go early as the line gets long!) and was lucky to snag a few of their most talked-about items: * Ube Cruffin: 10/10. This is the real deal--authentic Filipino ube flavor, not just purple coloring. Creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. A must-try! * We also bought a few items that my hubs brought to work: their Signature Blue-Corn Sour Dough, Croque Monsieur Croissant, Rosemary Foccacia, Pandesal and Blue Corn Muffin. I also tried the Matcha Latte. Smooth and earthy with a gentle sweetness from the Vanilla Bean syrup. You can tell they use quality matcha. It's great pairing it with the Ube Cruffin. Next time, I will order this drink topped with Ube foam. You can tell there's real passion behind everything they serve. We got to meet and talk to the Owner/Baker Karlo. Super nice and humble. 6100 is the zip code where he lived in the Philippines. IMO, the quality and craftsmanship justify every penny. I was excited to check out 6100 Bread, and it didn't disappoint. I was expecting there to be a bit of a line, but when we came during mid-morning on Saturday, we were able to easily walk in. there is a good variety of sweet and savory breads and pastries and we decided on the following: Rosemary Focaccia, Focaccia Dolce, Ube Cruffin, Blue Corn Masa Cornbread, Monkeybread, Chocolate Almond Croissant, and a Chocolate Chip Scone. As we got multiples of a few items, the total was over $100, but well worth it. The Rosemary Focaccia was my favorite item by far and I literally dream of it. It had great rosemary flavor and I loved the soft and doughy texture. Runner ups for me would be the Ube Cruffin, Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Monkey Bread. If you like blue corn, you may enjoy the cornbread as it had a strong blue corn flavor. The Focaccia Dolce and Chocolate Chip Scone were decent, but nothing mind blowing and the scone was a bit on the dry side so I probably will pass on that again next time. Service was friendly and the interior felt clean and modern. There is no indoor seating available, but there is limited outdoor seating if you're not looking to take your baked goods to go. Definitely would recommend giving 6100 Bread a try and I can't wait to come back to try more items. As a note, it seems like only street parking is available. read more
Went to 6100 Bread on a weekend around 11 a.m. and there was already a long line outside. By noon, pastries were selling out quickly, so definitely get there early if you want the best selection. Food was easily a 5/5. We tried a baguette, sourdough loaf, butter croissants, a croque monsieur baguette sandwich, a cinnamon roll made with croissant dough, and our favorite--the sun-dried tomato Oaxacan cheese croissant. Everything was fresh, warm, and perfectly baked. The baguette had a great crust but stayed soft inside, croissants were buttery and flaky, and that sun-dried tomato croissant was unforgettable. The only miss for me was the coffee--it leaned a bit too acidic, so I'd come back just for the pastries. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Staff gave great recommendations and kept things moving despite the long line. Ambiance is clean and inviting, with limited shaded outdoor seating and water/utensils available. Overall, worth the half-hour drive and I'll definitely be back. read more
Theres a line for a reason!!! Im so happy I was able to try out this place because they are only open a few days out of the week for only a few hours. We arrived around 10am and there was about a 15-20 minute wait but they gave out samples which was thoughtful! They unfortunately ran out of the corn sourdough and rosemary focaccia but nonetheless still had so many options to choose from. Again, we had to try out a variety of things for our first time so we got the: -Tomato croissant -Scallion Gochujang roll -Monkey Queen -Ube Croffin -Sourdough Japanese Milk Bread -Chocolate Croissant -Lil Sprig Coffee -Cream Top Coffee This review would be way too long if i went into depth but everything was a hit! Our favorites would be the ube croffin, tomato croissant, and gochujang roll BUT everything was honestly so good! The coffee we thought was just okay but not terrible. I honestly think the pricing is so fair. If you consider how expensive butter is, and the time it takes to make a croissant- I thought it was super reasonable! The staff were nice and friendly they are patient taking your order! The bakery itself is small but there are outdoor seating to enjoy everything. read more

Tried 3 items (see attached photo). All delicious, except for the corn cookie. Parking is horrible, horrible, and horrible.. Entrance and exit to the store is congested. service was good. Love seeing happy smiling workers. Price is ....uhhhhh...too expensive, at least it was delicious. An experience I would not repeat due to horrible parking situation. read more

I stopped by here since there was soo much hype. I didn't get the popular items so will have to go back to try it. I got a scone, muffin and cookie. They were all good. The scone had a thick coating of frosting so harder to taste the actual scone. I would go back and try again though. Street parking. SYOY! read more
This is my favorite bakery in SoCal and my current weekly addiction. I'm so impressed with the team here and how high quality every item is. I have tried almost everything and my favorite items are the focaccia loaf, dolce focaccia, cheddar chive bacon scone and chocolate chip cookie. But you literally can't go wrong with anything and I believe you should never order based on someone else's favorites. Go in and pick what sounds good. Then go back the next week and try other stuff. Rinse and repeat. Side note: Don't sleep on the butter! They sell different types of European butter in the small fridge next to the cashier. You can literally buy the same butter they use to make their croissant dough. read more
Located in Santa Ana, 61hundred Bread is a bakery with outstanding bread and some interesting Filipino inspired items. Their pandesal, for instance, is pretty fresh and fluffy. Also really enjoyed their rosemary foccacia bread, which was easily one of the best breads that we've ordered in LA and orange county! You can taste the quality and can tell that they didn't skimp on time or ingredients. Had a few of their croissants (oaxaca cheese croissant, monkey queen, strawberry sugar croissant) and they were good, but not as outstanding as the breads. We had their blue corn sourdough previously, served with a lemony tallow, next door at Le Hut Dinette. To drink, I had their valhrona mocha, which was rich like a thick hot chocolate. Wife enjoyed their vanilla latte with salted vanilla cold foam. Their drinks are a great complement to their carbs. Overall, I know that we'll definitely come back to have more of their breads. read more

I am completely in love. I had the Ube bread and it was crunchy, moist, and gooey (in the best way) at the same time. Service was fast. Interior is beautiful with all the bread displayed, but they also have a window where you can see how the bread is made. They had wherever you needed for coffee/ utensils at a table which is so nice not having to ask for things. Excited to go again soon! read more

Came here for a quick lunch run with friends so I was grateful the service was super quick. I was surprised at how good the cookie and croissant were because it was like they were baked with the perfect amount of sweetness. Overall I loved the aesthetics! read more
Bakery that was born out of the pandemic (although the proprietor was inspired by a popular spot in Northeast LA and started working on sourdough prior to the pandemic) and named after a zip code in the Philippines - so there is definitely a Filipino influence on some of the items here. Located in a repurposed military style building in the Historic French Park neighborhood of Santa Ana, this space is clean and aesthetically pleasing both inside and out. The folks here were efficient, friendly, and helpful. They kind of have to be with the traffic that goes through. It looks like they're only open a few days a week and once they're sold out they're done. Told one of my good friends about this place and he and his family were excited about it (they are Filipino), so we made plans and we all went one morning! Everything looked and smelled so good. I would have ordered more if I could, but tried to order what I could eat and use at the moment (took a lot of will power, haha, and even then, I probably ordered too much). They also have some imported goods like butter there for sale as well. Items I got to enjoy there: Ube cruffin - airy croissant/muffin hybrid with ube cream and slightly torched marshmallow on top (?). Definitely on the sweeter side, but not so much so. I really enjoyed it. Sun Dried Tomato Croissant - I'm a big fan of a simple grilled cheese sandwich with a side of creamy tomato soup as a meal. This pastry embodies that flavor profile and I loved it! More on the savory side To wash it all down and give me a kickstart, I got a 'Cream Top' - Iced Americano topped with vanilla cold foam/cocoa powder. Delicious. Items I got for later: Peanut Butter Banana Bread - really good and big enough to cut in pieces to share Blue corn masa sourdough bread - pretty large loaf with a corn/earthy aroma and taste. This was a big hit when I brought it to a beer event the next day. I didn't try it this time, but I have no doubt this would make delicious sandwiches. This bakery is located on a somewhat quiet street alongside other businesses. It was hard to spot since signage was not there or hard to find. There is only street parking. I would recommend coming on a weekday as the lines can be long and finding parking can take some time. Make sure you polish up on your parallel parking skills. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside is bright, small, and very clean. There are many selections. I got their most popular, the ube cruffin. It was very good, a bit sweet though. I also got the rosemary focaccia. It was very fresh and flavorful. Each bread was around $7 to $8. There is a small place to eat with tables and chairs outside to the side of the building. For drinks, I ordered the matcha latte and sunrise lemonade. It was okay, a bit watery. I recommend ordering the breads rather than the drinks. read more

We came on a Sunday around 10:30am, there wasn't much of a line. We waited about 5 minutes before getting to order. The Ube Cruffin is my favorite thing here! The inside of the shop is a bit small, but they have more seating on the outside. read more

Sourdough bakery! I was very intrigued by it being a sourdough bakery so I came on a Saturday morning and there was a short line out the door. The inside is pretty small with a good amount of pastries. I got a few to try and the sourdough milk bread and sourdough blue corn loaf. The milk bread was great! A little sweet and a little savory (probably from the tangy starter). I would recommend that. The bout corn sourdough loaf was interesting. Tbh I got it because of the blue color and because it's made with corn, it reminds me of a corn tortilla which I'm not sure if I love that in a bread. read more
When I visit someplace for the 1st time, I tend to want to taste a little of everything! I desired to go home with so much more; however, my first trip consisted of: FAVORITES: * Croissant Cinnamon Roll ($8) - wonderful layer of cream cheese frosting atop a large buttery croissant roll, with delightful candied parts from carmelized sugar; * Monkey Bread Croissant ($6) - soft & flavorful, with similar candied sections, offering enjoyable textures; * Butter Croissant ($5.75) - soft & delicately flakey; We also tasted: - Blue Corn Masa Cornbread ($5) - with dollup of butter -- moist with a definite corn flavor; - Sundried tomato danish ($6.50) - tasty cheesy tomato topping, which offered appreciated savory flavors to our spread of sweet items. While it's one of their signature treats, my least liked: - Ube Cruffin ($7) They also offer sample tastes (and purchase) of their 2 olive oils: The Lorenzo (lighter) and The Brooklyn (darker). The staff was impressively positive and friendly, appreciatively patient (especially during this 1st visit), helpful, and efficient. They offer only outdoor seating in a narrow section in front and a fenced in section on the side of their shop. In addition, it's all parallel street parking. I parked at Lacy & Vance (about a 5 minute walk away, according to Google Maps -- I didn't time myself); my walk to/from the shop was very enjoyable along the quiet streets of this peaceful neighborhood, reminding me to be mindful and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the plants that surrounded me. Wow, 61hundred is a MUST stop while in town! It's obviously operating at a very high level. The 30 minute wait was so worth it! I got 5 different pastries and a loaf of their blue corn sourdough. The soy scallion gochujang roll is my new favorite pastry of all time, but the ube cruffin and sundried tomato croissant are not too far behind!! Everything here was insanely good but those 3 were my favorites. I cannot wait to come back again, if only i lived in town! read more

Is there always a line? When a good day and time to go?
Unfortunately, there’s quite a bit of a wait since they are only open Fri-Sun from 8am-1pm. I would recommend arriving a bit before 8am which is the time they open. If you get there after 9am, the line starts to get backed up. Good luck!!!

Regular item, not seasonal.
Any Vegan options?
Yes they have focaccia which doesn't use milk or butter. But as for the pastries I'm not sure.
What's the parking like? Is it in a busy street?
Street parking. It's not a busy street but lots of traffic for the bakery.
